    Kyra -

bhcg = beta hcg levels (same as what i am having tested)

I couldnt get onto that site either so i googled beta hcg levels - first option that came up was beta hcg levels in early pregnancy - so i clicked on that. One of the sites had the list of levels on there.

I think you should find another dr if you can. One with compassion would be good.
Yes, it is very early days - like me. But at least if you have your levels checked you will know if they are going up every 48 hrs.

Kyra - absolutely, find a new doc you feel comfortable with but...unfortunately, don't be surprised if you don't get the regular bt etc as docs very rarely, if ever, take a mc and the resultant feelings seriously until you have lost 2-3 bubs.
But, saying that, you can get a great doc who is very supportive and willing to help. hcg levels in early preg can be decieving as they vary greatly.
I know you are stressed and upset but for yourself, your body and bub you need to try to stress less. Do you know other girls around the area that you can ask for a referral to a doc?
    hope you find someone soon.

AFM: I'm pretty certain I am out of the race but....like we all say...its not over till RB shows her ugly face. really want to test but don't want to go buy one...have 30 or more at home....doing 'be patient, be patient' mantra.

Got a day off work today. Spent a bit over two hours at the train station with no trains running cause of an electricity outage. Got a friend to pick me up, went to pub, had a vodka and put $5 in pokies
I'm going to really miss my V and Mother drinks when i am utd. ( I can't drink anymore after Fri nite)

Look after yourselves lovely ladies...anyone tested recently and have good news for us?

What chickybabe said. Bhcg is your 'beta HCG' levels - 'quantitive' levels. This test is what they ask for to ensure the numbers are increasing as they should.

Maybe give the clinic a call and ask to speak to your doctor to ask, or get the receptionist to tell you what it was? You have every right to know, and knowing what it was with those bloods will help you determine what the bhcg should be.

I'd DEFINATELY go find another doctor!!! No offence, but your current GP sounds like a jerk, and hardly knows correct practise.

Where are you? I've just put a topic in the GP Recommendations part of this Forum looking for a good one on the sunny coast - maybe do a callout for one in your area (if there isn't already a thread on your area)?

If you want any more info PM me. Thinking of you, and am sure eveything is fine! xx

You're very lucky to have such a supportive husband, they really make all the difference don't they..?

That's right. Even call the Dr and ask them what it was - your well within your rights to ask/know.

Hon, don't apologise for being 'self centred', you're totally not. Just worried. It's perfectly normal. We all have these days, and being preggers you're well within your rights to be! (emotional) haha.
