Hi everyone,
Not much to report with me...still waiting...think I am up to 8DPO today...tested this morning, not entirely sure why as I know it is too early, kind of did it still half asleep! Anyhow...surprise, surprise :bfn: Last time I did a test at 11DPO and it was sooo faint so I think it really is too early to show - thats what I am hoping anyway! Got rid of my urge to POAS but wasted one of my FR should have used a internet cheapie cos it was never going to show anything. With your pregnancies how soon did you get a positive test?
eliselouise85 - there is no real way of knowing if you are ovulating yet...it takes a couple of cycles to recognise your bodies individual chart. Somepeople have a clear temp drop on the day before or of ovulation, some dont have a drop but they have a surge in temp on o day. So I dont know if I can really help. Temping really doesnt tell you when you will but when you have. So do the BD as much as possible until you see an increase in your temp for 3 days ( I have been tricked before with having a rise and then my temp has fallen again). Usually by the time of the drop you have o or are about to in the next day or so. Thats how I understand it anyhow. I have been charting for 6 months and I can basically tell what is going on now.
Just an afterthought CONGRATULATIONS KYRAWOLFE! Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy! x
Kyra-Yeh this arvo b4 i got kid's from school
Oh My Goodness Ferrals - how inconsiderate of your SIL ! That is so rude...
She needs to grow a brain.....
Big  for you !
xoxoxo
I havent read everyones posts I hope everyone is doing well as can be..
sorry, but have to ask a question...
What do you think I should expect on a FR at 10dpo? I am wondering whether to use it tomorrow or not..I had a bfn on the pregnow 10mlu tests today so feeling no love :(
Coco - do you think you would be able to hold out till 12 dpo ?
I know its flippin hard - but at least you would be alot more likely to get a second line then. Just a thought....
xoxoxox
Hope you are all well Ladies !
I am trying to stay sane till Monday when i have my next lot of bloods done....
Havent had any bizarre things happen today :crossfingers: it stays this way. Even had some normal mucous....sorry TMI. Not getting my hopes up yet though.
DH said "it must be a girl - causing dramas already" and i said "gee i hope so".
Take care and i will keep you posted !
:stickyvibesgirl: for me and heaps of :bluedust: for you all
xoxo
I'm out. I hope you all get the stickiest BFP's soon!!
xx
Hi all,
Sounds like a few people are around tseting time....good luck to all.
Superstar- I got my faint BFP on an ebay cheapie at 8DPO in the late afternoon and a definte on FR on 9DPO, no doubt it would have been good on the FR at 8DPO if i had one. I know those days are spot on too, from OPK, temp rise and the fact i feel myself ovulating (which i hope hasn't changed!!).
AFM - CD16, no sign of a positive OPK and temp still down, so my excitement of the D7C making my cycle noraml was a bit premature. Looks like i will probably O as normal on about CD20 and have my silly (but usual) 11 day luteal phase. Silly cycle...anyone here taken B6 to help lengthen LP, i know 11 dyas isn't mega mega short but wondering if it doesn't help??Also i would like to note and back up Snugglybean, i hate using condoms, i feel like a teenager!! I definately think if this cycle is longer than 28 days we will try next cycle as if we were lucky enough to conceive it would nearly be 3 months anyway. I mean i was already on normal folate and now on mega 5mg doses since D&C day and still normal preg. vitamins, i mean i think my body is flooded in the stuff!!
Snuggly - Thanks for thinking of me, i had a massive cry last night, it started over the fact i was trying to finish our wedding photo album and i have lost our vows, i had a copy of both mine and dh's original handwritten vows i wanted to put in the album and i can't find them.....sucks, i have no idea where they could be. And then i couldn't stop bawling, and told him it wasn't just about the vows...blah, blah, blah, he's the best DH and just comforted and cuddled me!!I was a mess!! Feel alot better today after the cry though!! Hope you are doing ok and those levels are dropping nice and fast!!
Wow, i am becoming a pro at rambling on...
Everyone have a great weekend :)
Hi all,
Im unable to sleep in on holidays apprently... grrr so Ill use this time to re cap on everyone!
Chickybabe did I read right? You're utd? What are the tests for? If so... :confetti: congratulations!!!
Kyra: CONGRATULATIONS!
Sunny: AMAZING to see the :heartbeat: isnt it??
Sammy: Since Ive been gone you've had both bfp and now m/c?? What the hell is mother natures problem with us women??? Im so sorry sweety xx
Zstar: Sorry to hear things are not going well for you, hope they settle down very quickly!
Ferrals: OMG What a cow!! You had the right reaction! I would have screamed!!!
Tanya: Feeling like I'll be with you shortly! sorry to hear!
:hello: to everyone I have missed!
AFM
DH and I are now in Brisbane. The christening for our god daughter went without a hitch and the only thing was, while I was holding her she was farting the whole time:rofl: so I had to do my best not to make a face hahaha!
While I was there the friends who we're visiting in brisbane called, they lost their baby, they were almost ready to make the "announcement" only to be informed the baby had stopped growing at 8w2d. I cried for her, It bought back alot of emotions. It felt very different to reading about it on here for women I dont know as opposed to a friend who I see in thr flesh if that makes sense?
I am about 10dpo today, I have a gut feeling its a bfn this month..well the FR test I did this morning said that...even though in the light or side on I could see a light line..but i think and Im pretty sure its the "indent" thing..IYKWIM?? and everyone telling me after the operation you'll fall straight away, its the best time blah blah blah..*sigh* i am getting a couple of pimples and that happened last month and before I had endo so it isnt a good sign for me...BB have been very sensitive to touch which is no sign either way and I have been tired but its probably more to do with not being able to sleep in of a morning while not at home
Last time I was pg I got a line at 13dpo in the pm but I know that by tomorrow or the next day if Im feeling hungry like "right now!" and thirsty etc and whatever other feelings I had, then maybe im in with a chance.
DH and I went to the casino last night and I won on blackjack which has bought us another night in the oaks casino towers hotel. They're gorgeous apartments!! We got one for $114 for a friday night and they have matched the price for us for sunday night plus they're giving us an upgrade!!!! WOO!!!!
Anyway, enough from me! Hope you all have a lovely weekend!! :grouphug:
Coco
Thankyou !
Yes Coco i am pg - only 4 weeks + 2 days. Sorry TMI - started having light brown discharge and then some bleeding earlier this week. Panicked and ended up at the ED on Wednesday night. Had my first blood test done. Having the second one done on Monday to see if my HCG levels are rising or falling. At this stage the bleeding has stopped - hope it stays away but nothing is certain.
So, i am currently going out of my mind....
You lucky duck being on holidays - pity you cant get a nice sleep in.
I hope you get a BFP in the next couple of days - thinking of you.
xoxo
well, my "i really feel preg" feelings were wrong. RB is making sure I know she is on her way. I had a 'I hate my life' day yesterday. I know that there are so many ladies in here who have been trying longer but I don't want to have to try.
I hate being at work where there are so many preg ladies - who smoke etc and it s#*@'s me. I hate not being preg. I hate bding on the 'right' days and still not getting preg. I hate just about everything right now. Hate is a strong word I know but thats what my feelings say.
I'm sorry for the rant, I;m just incredibly depressed and thinking of just giving up. GOing back on the pill and forgetting about it. I can't keep getting my hopes dashed every month and then when I do get the bfp to lose the bub anyway. 5 times is enough.
Morning ladie's
Tanya sorry to hear your out this month.
Oh! sparkles-they will turn up when you least expect it and you mentioned feeling like a teenager using condom's  Dh and i have never used them until now we have to be safe on my fertile day's so i am doing OPK'S for the oppisite reason but it was soooo funny the other day when we were shopping and had to buy a box for my 16yr old son and then a box for us i felt so embarrassed.
Hannah-wont be long now and those level's will be back to 0 and i don't know if you have read some of my previous post's about the women i see at my work pregnant drinking and smoking i have seen them drink bottle after bottle of jim beam or schooner on top of schooner and some of them even stumble out off there face's i wish the RSA law's gave us the power to refuse surface to pregnant women to protect unborn babie's and it make's losing our babie's all the more painful.
Kyra-good luck with the test's monday look's like this it it for you.
Coco- you are going to send yourself bonker's give it a few more day's i know it is hard but if your feeling some symptom's that's a good sign so take your mind off it for now and enjoy that hotel room and make the most of it did you get a spa in the upgrade?
Sunny-how are you going?:stickyvibesgirl:
Zstar-hope everything has settled down for you :stickyvibesgirl:
Milly-38 is still fine you should have seen the people at the IVF clinic i was one of the youngest and i'm 35 there was one couple i thought was the grandparent's waiting in the waiting room but then they were called in i nearly fell off my chair.
Sunbeam-missing you hope the break is doing you some good.
Elise-temping for me was a nightmare my temp was low 35.8 to 36.2 most day's than went up to 36.7 to 36.9 after i ov but i never really had a dip before so i felt it wasn't real reliable for me i used the OPK's that i got online they were excellent.
Superstar-finger's crossed for you :bluedust:
Sammy-i' think if you m/c early it's more like a heavy period and you body settles down i don't see why you cant try straight away and when we are getting older who can afford to wait if you feel ok then go for it.
AFM- it looks like the stupid gov got there way i read on the ivf website that in jan PGD ivf patient's will be out of pocket an extra $5,000 so that mean's for me i will have to pay $14,200 and only get back about $4,000-$5,000 so out of pocket eprox $10,000 s##t if we dont get in soon we will only get one chance this year then we have no choice but to go back to trying natrually i bet if one of the polly's had to have IVF cause they carrie a genetic condition this medicare drama would not be an issue anyway i have raved on enough i have the day off so i will make myself useful talk to you later.
Tina- we all have those day's and they are awlful i know i was wondering were do you live SIVF have a M/C management center for women like you who get pregnant and have trouble holding on to them if you don't mind me asking what testing have you had i am not sure who in this thread has had what to many to keep up with but there has to be a reason have any of your bub's been tested?
Hi Ferrals, i'm not sure about the testing. They did a few on the 11wk preg while I was in tassie (preg #2), preg #3 I lost while we were up in Cape York so no hospital or anything and preg #4 I chose to go home and lose naturally and collect the 'specimen' for them unfortunately I only collected clots so unable to test.
All blood works have come back perfect. Alot of the women in my family have had this issue...and no reasons given. I know everyone has these days but I just think that I need to give it up to keep my head sane. It's to hard for me and its not fair on DB to have this annoying moody cow gf.
I had a friend who offered to be a surrogate - but she would drink through the preg and i'd get the $#!t's with her so that is not an option plus I want to be the one who carries and gives birth.
I'm going to sit down tonight and talk with DB. see what he thinks, although I think he will say to try again. DB mentioned adoption since we saw a friend in town who adopted three african little ones (just gorgeous!) but we couldn't afford it plus we don't live in a proper house etc so would prob get rejected anyway.
Tina - Big hugs hun, i'm sure whatever you decide will be the right choice.
Ferals - thats unfair to say the least about the IVF $$$, it is ridiculous......lol at the condoms!
Elise- my pre O temp is from 36.1-36.4 then jumps to about 36.6-36.8 after O. My temp tends to climb the 3 days after O then steady out, so day after O could be 36.5, next day 36.6, then 36.7. Was it you who asked about OPK's?? I get mine from lullaby conceptions(online), they tend to work a bit better for me than ebay ones and they are still cheap. You can also get combo OPK & Preg. test packs.
So after my grumbling & moaning to you all this morning, i just did an OPK and got about a 3/4 strength line, so i would say i will have a positive positive this afternoon or tomoro (they have always got progressivly darker). So fingers crossed things start to happen in there and then i can see what my LP is doing after the D&C ( and we won't have to use condoms once i'm 150% O has come and gone)! :)
Tanya -
Tina - it cant be an easy decision for you -
AFM - well have just been to the toilet and the brown discharge is back - medium brown and more than last time....no cramping at this stage...sorry if TMI.
Just when i could see a glimmer of hope - i hadnt had anything go wrong for 2 whole days.
Now i feel totally deflated again.... i am starting to think this bubby isnt strong enough to hold on.
I definitely got on the wrong rollercoaster !
:stickyvibesgirl:
xoxox
Chickybabe: :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy: your gonna have a :bellygrowing: with your beautiful bundle soon...sit down - legs up - take it easy...:pray: for you.
Thanks everyone :) I'm kinda lurking in here all day while at work, ready to post a rant if I have a preg customer lol... (well, kinda laughing)
Tina-don't give up on your dream to be a mum maybe just back off a bit and don't set your life around it and if it happen's then great then there is no stress on you and DB i was beside myself with stress trying to get pregnant to give my DH a baby i felt a failure that i can give my ex children but i cant have a healthy baby to the love of my life when i sat down and talked to DH about it he felt the same way and felt he failed me so we made the decision to do the ivf 1-2 time's if that fail's we try natrually until i turn 37 then if we dont have a healthy baby by then ( April 2011) we call it quit's so we have a plan and we are now relaxed about our choice and are just getting on with it and i don't feel so much pressure and i am not putting a baby before our relationship anymore it is helping me so far i will see how i get if the ivf dosn't work and we are back to trying natrually.
Coco!!! I thought u'd disappeared!! So glad to hear ur still hear!
FR prg tests are good. They picked up my first prg, but for the 2nd I used the brand Confirm. Im lucky that I work in a DR's surgery as it means unlimited tests for me!! hehe. Seeing and hearing the heartbeat was amazing, to say the least. The HB was 162BPM and bubs is measuring at 1.6cm, so DH and very happy! Thanx for being happy for us! Im hoping u get those two beautful lines in the next couple of days. After a loss, well, as you can imagine, you just have a huge appreciation for all the smaller things in life.
Chickybabe....try not to stress. My discharge returned today, but has gone again. My stomach is slightly tender, but I am having trouble keeping my food down, so thats probably why. I can only eat fruit. Everything else makes me dry reach :(
Sunny - So good to hear, such a strong, fast heartbeat.
AFM- well i got my definate positive OPK this morning on CD17, so will O tonight or tomoro, will be curious if i still feel it as i did before, and then just wait see what my LP is doing. Very excited, its better than O'ing on CD21. Will be having a pretty quiet day today, DH had a boys night out last night so is all hungover and back in bed again. Just have a bit of washing and stuff to do then might go visit the MIL for lunch. Feeling alot better about not being able to try this month, i have got past it and know its for a good reason and at least my cycle is doing what it should.
You guys are all sooo great with support, this forum is priceless.
Everyone have a great sunday :)
Morning all, hope everyone is having a good weekend.
So ive had a temp rise this morning (36.1 on wed & thursday, 35.8 fri & saturday, 36.5 this morning) so i used an OPK to see what it was saying and i got 2 lines but both not real dark (control line a little darker than test line) so im assuming that is a positive but not too sure. Does anyone else use First response OPK's and what are your experiences with them?? Hopefully we will be able to BD tonight if db is not too sick, he has the flu and is feeling like crap so didnt want to last night, grr just our luck that he is sick when we need to do the deed  He said hes feeling a little better this morning and hes out in his shed so i suppose thats a good sign :crossfingers:
Anyway im off to bunnings now to get some prices on bathroomware, we are renovating our bathroom :leap: and cant wait for it to be done so im trying to hurry it along, which is quite hard when im waiting on quotes from builders, they are so slow and im getting very frustrated :wall:
Enjoy the rest of your weekend girls and TTYL :)
elise-your test line has to be as dark if not darker than the control line i asked my FS as i get a line for my whole cycle on the first response opk's but the one's i get online i only get a dark line 48hr's before i ov until the day after so they can be miss leading but if your line is darker than that's a positive i think BD every 2nd if not every day around then will give you a good chance.
NEGATIVE: If two lines are visible, but the line in the test region (T) is lighter than the one in the control region (C), or if there is no line in the test region (T). It indicates that no LH surge has been detected.
POSITIVE: If two lines are visible, but the line in test region (T) is the same as or darker than the one in the control region (C). It indicates that you will probably ovulate in 24-36 hours.
Thanx heaps ferals, must have been a negative still. Have no idea whats going on with my body and dont wanna wait more cycles to try and work it out. Oh well hopefully it just happens without me needing to work it out
Elise - I never got those tests to register ovulation correctly. My doctor told me to throw them away. I am not suggesting you do that but if you feel you have other signs (I go by CM) then don't let the opportunity pass. Good luck!
We have to move out of this house this week as the floors are being done. Renovations are a pain as well as a blessing.
Hey all
I like the opks just as a secondary thing now that i have been getting the EWCM after the operation. but before that they confused me as I was getting no cm at all. I thought i was but clearly not..
I am 11dpo today and didnt hold off like I was told  but I bought some tests to do tmo and the next day but I have to be honest and say Im feeling pessamistic now :( ugh
Hope you're all well! Last night in brissy today, off to Nanny & Poppy's tmo in Tweed Heads then we're heading home! Yay!
Morning ladies,
I feel a little sick in the tummy and very OMG OMG OMG! I got a very dark :bfp: just before! I told DP who didnt seem very excited - probably due to what happened last time it is easier not to get excited for him - hurts to be taken away I guess! Is it normal to feel this apprehensive about it! I should be happy but feel like the same thing will happen again! I feel like I want to throw up...and I really dont think it is MS!
On a positive note though...other than the :BFP: maybe there is something to be said about the D & C making you more fertile! This is second month and it took 5 months to fall last time! I feel bad for others that it takes longer for....I know it has felt like years and years of trying for a baby - I cant even imagine what you guys are going through!
Hopefully you all dont mind me sticking around until my dating scan - that was when we got the bad news last time :-(
Hope there is more :BFP: to come this week!!!
Way to go Superstarmummsy:happyforyou::happyforyou:
Everyone is going to leave me with there BFP's
AFM i'm still waiting waiting sick of waiting for my phone call.
Superstar - OMG, congrats, there seems to be few BFP's this month!! All the best and i'm sure its normal to be apprenhensive, i know i will be when the time comes again. But enjoy the feeling of seeing those 2 lines as well!!!
Coco - Good luck, can't wait to hear your results, hoping & praying for a BFP for you.
Well i ovulated last night and OMG i could still feel it like before, gosh i get quite alot of pain when i ovulate!! and a nice temp rise this morning so i know its awful wishing time away but i just want to be able to try again, at least in a few days when i'm sure of my tempo rises we can stop using condoms for the months..yay for that at least!! My sister goes for her NT sacn today with her 2nd child, she found out she was pregnant(planned) the day i found out bubs had not made it, so understandly she is very anxious about this scan but i know it will all be alright!!And i figured out that if we fell pregnant in my october cycle(if my cycles stay 28 dyas), the bubs due date would be the exact day we found out about bubs not making it as well. Weird!! Maybe it's a good sign.
Thought it was time i added a ticker, makes me realise i am strong enough to do the whole TTC thing again!
Thinking of you all who are testing, ovulating and have the dreaded AF. Have a good monday!!
:cheer: Superstarmumsy :bluecheer: So happy for you honey and I do think that a D&C makes you more fertile, I got a BFP after my 1st af when I had my 1st D&C and I was mega fertile... I am hoping that after this last D&C I will also get pg after my af... I am in the fertile zone now so here's hoping I will get another BFP. I wish we could be belly buddies again but I think you will be a little further along than I would be even if I do get a BFP... Congratulations to you and your dh, he will get excited again, it may just take a little longer ;) And dont' worry about anything, jsut enjoy it, many woman have a healthy pg after a mc, just drop into the PAL thread and they will reasure you that everything will be ok  Again congrats and keep in touch lovely girl xox
:hello: Hello everyone else I am not up for persies today... I'm hung over, got drunk Friday night and yesterday which is so not like me  .... Went to a wedding yesterday and the groom announced they are having a baby :crying: I was shattered although I knew they were going to be pg soon, she is due a month after I would have been next year... and another of the guys that dh works with is pg too... I really wanted to have a baby when they all did so they could play together etc... I feel so left out, I know it sounds completely stupid but that is how I feel :crying:
Congratulations superstar! :confetti:
Ferrals...I will be here with you..even after having the laparoscopy and removing the endometriosis and everything else this year, I still have a :bfn: Yes I know im 12dpo but also know that by now the FFR would be able to pick it up..surely.
I dont know why I am having so much trouble falling pregnant after my miscarriage...I have been here for like 8 months now! What have I done wrong!!!:crying:
big congrats to supperstarmumsy!!!! awesome news. lets hope there is more BFP's this month!
chickybabe - hang in there. my discharge is still here. since tuesday last week now. i have emailed ob today to see what he thinks. does your head in big time!!!!! stay positive!!!
big hi to everyone else. i hope things are going ok. this is a tough game and not for the weak!
yay congratulations SuperstarMumsy!!!
That is super awesome news, very excited for u indeed!
:clap::dance::clap::dance:
Hi and hugs to everyone else
afm, 8dpo, no signs either way, so guess i keep waiting...
Hi Ladies,
Congratulations SuperstarMummsy !!! Woohoo - way to go :stickyvibesgirl:
AFM - have just been to have my blood test and i go back at 11am for the results.
I am sooooooo nervous. I started having this stupid discharge/bleeding last Monday and it has been the longest week of my life.
This morning i feel quite nauseaus - i assume thats cause i am worrying so much. Would be nice if it was actually MS.
Will BBL with the results - good or bad !
:stickyvibesgirl:
Ok, finally back from my appointment !
They were running soooo late. I was only in the room for about ten minutes the rest of the time was sitting out in the hall waiting to be seen. Didnt want to sit with all the pregnant ladies.
I cried for most of the time i was waiting - i felt so anxious.
Saw a different lady today - she was ok. Lady i saw last week was lovely - i get to see her again on Thursday - thank goodness.
My levels have gone from 248 up to 1980 :leap:
I instantly burst into tears when she told us ! DH gave my leg a rub. Relief !
So thats really good - but in the very next sentence i was told that "it's still really early days so anything can happen yet". Thanks for that lady - i realise that !
Not letting my guard down yet - even if things are looking promising.
I go back on Thursday for a scan to see if everything is in the right place then have another appointment to get the results.
So, i have a little woohoo for the day ! Hooray !
Still needing these - :stickyvibesgirl:
Once again - thanks for your support ladies ! some :bluedust: for you all xo
Where's my post gone?
I did post a reply, but it's been deleted / disappeared somewhere along the line.
Now to start again.
I'm 26, my dear fiancee` is 27, and we're currently TTC#2 following our recent loss of 'Fuzzy' in July of this year. We live in the Sunshine Coast, Qld.
We have been TTC for quiet some time, and given we lost our beloved at only 4 weeks, 4 days (very early, but I'm sure it didn't hurt any less :( ) my GP said it would be quiet safe to start again straight away. My cycle went back to normal straight away so I was very luck in that sense.
Initially I/we weren't sure if we would start again straight away, but given the length of time we've been trying for, we didn't want to hold off any longer.
We get married in just 25 short days, and desperately  for a honeymoon bubba, if not sooner! <3
I am currently on day 20 of this cycle. We've been using the OV Watch, pre-seed (which we haven't used in a few months - just didn't like the 'too' slippery feel - then realised I was using far too much!), temping/charting, and we BD'd every day over a span of 5 days so here's hoping this is our month..!!
I've got funny feelings this morning in my left side - sorta like period pain.. but not. I'm praying it's the start of something special..! I'm 5DPO.
chickybabe -:stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesgirl::stickyvi besgirl::stickyvibesgirl: so happy for you. talk to you bubba and tell it to burrow in for the long haul. i talked to my baby so much and still do. i still have the brown discharge. 6 days on and off now. has backed off a bit. ob called me in today for a scan and heard heartbeat, going strong and still measuring on time so all good for now. phew. one day at a time....
anila - everything crossed for you
coco - some of us are going to have to fight a hell of a lot harder than others to get our bubbas! I hope you are out of here very soon :bluedust::bluedust:
cherished - we are the last ones in our 'group' without kids and have been for some time. its not fun. our turn will come!
hi to all and i hope you are having a good monday.
Chickybabe - how exciting, thats great news!!
Zstar- great to hear the scan showed a healthy heartbeat, hope the spotting stops to ease your mind.
LladyR- so sorry for your loss, but welome to the group, you will find lots of support on here. Fingers crossed this is your month, would be nice wedding present!!
