AFM- I'm feeling a bit like i don't belong here anymore as i'm not actively ttc i can't really talk about BDing or ovulating ect i can only talk about genetic testing, PGD IVF all the injection's follicle's ect all the waiting and you girl's are all on the same page with M/C and being scared to of it happening again everyone is getting there BFP's while i can't even try yet so i have been on two PGD IVF buddy group's and thought i might post in there a bit more as they are all going through the same thing. I am going to give you girl's a rest from me i just want to say it has been a real help to me these last few month's since i lost abbi and i don't think i would be as sane as i am right now if it wasn't for you girl's, i hope you all get your beautiful babie's and i will pop in from time to time to check up on you and if you need me for anything you can PM me or find me in the assisted conception thread under IVF with PGD.

Ferrals: make sure you keep in contact - I want to see that bfp you get on your first cycle! Thanks so much for all your help the other day during my meltdown - not that I ended up needing to have it!

Everyone - thanks so much for your congrats - I'm so stoked. DB was his usual ummhmmm self but I don't care :) already got my doc appt.

AFM - i have my next scan at 1.00pm then follow up appt at 1.20pm so i dont know what time i will get home. Gee - i hope they find a tiny bubby starting to grow !
Just a thought - i think they are going to offer me a TransVaginal scan but i am VERY hesitant cause of the bleeding/spotting i have had. I dont want to set it off again IYKWIM.
Eeeeeeeeeekkkkk - think i will decline. Not that they can see much with a normal scan though........

Hi,

Had my scan - the sac has definitely grown ! At 5 weeks it is too early to see if anything is growing in the sac yet. The main idea of todays scan was to check that the pregnancy is in my uterus - which it is ! They were happy with the growth and my HCG levels from Monday. Had a normal scan.
I have another scan on 7th September to check the viability- so lets hope we see something growing - even a heartbeat !

This has given me hope :D

It's been a couple of months since I've posted in here but I've been hovering in the background.
Before all of you end up with those beautiful BFPs that I've seen so many of lately, I wanted to pop in and give a quick update on my own situation as I promised I would.

First, congratulations to everyone who is ready to move out into one of the pregnancy forums, I've been so pleased to see so much happiness in here lately.

My heart goes out to the losses that have been experienced too, it's such a tragedy to see such wonderful women losing precious babies.

AFM I've had my due date revised by 9 days! I'm trying to work out how that can be considering I was charting and know when I ovulated and when we DTD!! It just doesn't compute! So now, instead of being 16 weeks, I'm only 14 1/2 weeks. We've had two ultrasounds and everything is looking perfect. This is my first time to see 3D ultrasound pics (hubby's first time for ultrasound at all!) and it's been so exciting. Everyone tried to tell us that it's a boy but at 11 weeks, too soon to tell and we're pretty sure it was the umbillical chord anyway! In another 5 weeks, we'll find out and are lucky enough to be able to take my two daughters in with us for the scan, they'll be so excited to see the baby and find out what we're having.
Morning sickness has been pretty horrendous (oddly very little actual up chuck, just constant nausea) and, of course, every little cramp has been sending me into a mild (no, lets face it, extreme) panic. Thankfully the panic is beginning to recede now that I'm past my own 'scare' time from the last two pregnancies ending in miscarriage.

I have kind of stopped posting in the forums because no-one from anywhere I was posting has ended up in the Belly Buddy group that I fit into. It felt quite lonely not knowing anyone so I have just been hovering in here checking up on everyone as this is where I felt 'at home'.

To Anila, Ferrals, Sunbeam, Cherished and Coco in particular, I wish you all the best in your journeys and hope to see all of you joyfully celebrating very soon. The journey has been long and painful for all of you and you deserve to be rewarded with your own little baby. Ferrals, goodluck wth the IVF when it starts, I hope it works for you first try!

To everyone else in here, all the best and I'm glad you're all finding support and love in this forum as I found it my source of strength and sanity while I was here.

Smallfry it is great to see that everything is going along smoothly. It must be a huge relief to get past that dreaded date of last mc's. That is extremely exciting that your daughters are going with you to the scan, i bet they cant wait to find out if they're getting a baby brother or sister. Hello to the new ladies!!!

Hi everyone, can I join you guys? I am currently waiting for AF to return so DH and I can start trying again. My M/C was only about 4 weeks ago but I want to start TTC right away. My HCG level dropped to normal really quickly so I thought my cylce might return to normal quickly as well. I even thought I may have ovulated about 2 weeks ago (right on schedule) but DH wanted to wait for at least one period before TTC. If all had returned to normal I should have got AF yesterday but no such luck and already I'm getting impatient waiting for it. I was hoping talking to others in the same boat as me would help.

well ive had the most stressfull 12 hours..

Started bleeding heavy yesterday and just couldnt keep positive at all on the ride up to the hospital

They did a blood test and a few hours later called me in to tell me my hormone levels the other day at 4 and a half weeks were 711hcg, and yesterday they were 2780hcg.. so that sounded gud but he made sure to reaussure me that it doesnt mean i havnt misscarried at all. sigh

then i sat in the waiting room for 10 hours with that thought in my head b4 anyone saw us..

So the gyno saw me fineally.. the news isnt as bad as i thought but it certainly isnt the best.

So far she cant see a yolk sack on the scan, but she said it is really too early to see one anyway, but my cervix is closed, and there aparently was only a tiny amount of blood (unlike last november when they coulnt see anything from all the blood)

She doesnt think im misscarrying, but didnt garuntee it.. she said its most likely just the cervix lineing shedding where the egg has burrowed in .. but im going back on monday because she said theres still a chance that im going to misscarry in the next few days :'(

I dont know.. i feel like its different to last time and theres alot more hope.. but oh my god i cannot deal with this stress right now,, the last thing i wasnted to happen happened yesterday when i saw that blood i broke down right then and there in the public toilets at the mall..

I completely sympathize with you. I had a similar thing happen to me with my first child. The first doctor I saw was a complete hosebag and without even looking at me told me I was having a miscarriage and scheduled me for an U/S a week later. She then told me to go on stict bed rest until then "just in case'. I cried for the whole week and the wait was just awful, but luckily the baby was fine. 3 weeks later I had another bleed. I went to emergency sobbing all the way. The doctor there was very reassuring. My cervix was closed as well and there was very little blood. He sent me for an U/S the next day and thankfully all was fine. I even had a third bleed a few weeks later. It was extremely stressful but thankfully it was just the lining shedding a bit. Easier said than done I know, but take it easy and try not to stress out too much. I have all my fingers crosssed that your little one will be just fine too.

Went for hcg level test today so waiting to get results from that this afternoon, they are rushing them through for me.

Welcome TS. I'm new also, but have already found the support from this forum overwhelming and so generous.. All the best for your TTC journey, and I hope AF comes back for you nice & quickly so you can start your TTC journey again. Aww hon, I'm so sorry you've had such a stressful 12 hours!! Please, please, as hard as it is, try your best to stay reasonably calm, or as calm as you possibly can anyway. Like the doc said he/she is probably just burrowing right in there for the long haul.. this baby is meant to be yours :D

I'm sad.. I just POAS this morning, and got a BFN.

I'm desperately hoping it's just still too early..! I'm only 9DPO. Is it still too early?

I SOOO desperately hope so! I've got myself absolutely convinced that I'm definately pregnant, even after the BFN.. after getting over the initial disappointment of the BFN, I'm still convinced I'm pregnant..!!

I don't know what it is.. maybe it's the fact that I'm still POAS on the OPK's ... cos that's where I got my very first positive last time, which led me to buy the FR which confirmed my pregnancy.

Would an OPK still have a feint 2nd line 9DPO? (They're very feint, but definately still a line). Does anyone know?

I keep convincing myself that that's my LH surge continuing because I've got little bundle starting to settle in... and the twingey pains feeling like something's burrowing isn't helping either. I keep telling myself that's bubs settling in for the ride..

I'm driving myself insane! :rolleyes:

I did bout 3-4 neg p tests only got the faintest BFP the day b4 my Af was due.. and I was convinced i wasnt pregnant by that stage too! Hope that helps :) And thanku, i think it mightbe ok, they sounded optimistic at the hospital, and usually docs always think the worst and try not to be to convincing incase there is a problem..

Awww thanks so much honey, it's so nice to know someone is thinking of me :hug: I'm still so happy that you are getting your forever baby... Don't feel alone though, join your new belly buddy group and they will love you just like we do... Although I do know how you feel though, when I got my 2nd BFP I didn't know where to go :( I missed my 6mth girls etc etc then when I lost that one I still felt like I didn't fit anywhere as I was just on the verge of needing to be it the 12mth thread :rolleyes:... So I post in both heheheh Anyway you are having a healthy pregnancy and that is the most important thing :p keep in touch via pm if you like and I'm guessing a boy too! hehehe It will be beautiful to have the whole family there when you find out! ladyr I too think 9dpo is a little too early and as for the opk the faint line on them doesnt mean anything, the only time it is a positive is when the test line is darker or as dark as the control line. But stay positive and if your feeling preggy hopefully well see a bfp from you in a few days time.
maddison not too sure when im gonna test am trying to hold off as long as possible, have no idea where i am in the dpo and no idea my cycle length so might try and hold off till mid next week if af hasnt turned up by then. Grrr to DH not being in the mood, i know what thats like my db was excactly the same last week when i thought i was ovulating, so frustrating.

AFM just trying to keep busy to stop me thinking about testing, have done 54 hours at work this week so thats kept me very busy and im exhausted :asleep:

girls, i just wanted to say that u lot have been awesome and a wonderful piller of strenghth for me, i have enjoyed my time here with u, how ever, im not coping atm, i am 11/12 dpo and just got a bfn, i started spotting on 9/10 dpo with cramps, and after my bfn just now, i had more pink spotting, so i believe that af is on the way.
Im in absolute tears right now, i was so positive that i was going to have a may baby, and im so angry that although i was only 6 and a bit weeks that my baby is gone, i keep thinking how far along i could have been, i need to take a break from the ttc threads for a while, i know af is not here in full yet, but i highly doubt ill be getting a bfp this cycle.
So ill keep popping back to see how everyone is going, but i wont be posting, u can still find me around other bb threads.

maddison - don't give DH a chance. My poor DH knows he has no choice, i tell him we're BD and he's better go get ready. If he resists I pin him down and force him into the mood. I know it's frustrating but don't give up!

LladyR - Don't get too down yet, 9DPO is still REALLY early. With my last pregnancy I kept taking tests at regular intervals and I didn't get even a faint line until 11 DPO. It took another week or so for the line to darken. Fingers crossed you get a BFP in another few days.

eliselouise85 - the wait always feels so long. I always tell myself "I will test on this date and not any sooner" and then I end up testing way before that anyways cuz I just can't wait any longer. best of luck!!

Anila - Aw I'm so sorry you're having a rough go of it. I get sad and upset thinking about how far along I could be as well. I get through it my reminding myself that I know people who have been a lot further along in their pregnancies than I was when they miscarried, and even worse people who lost babies at a few days old, and I think about how much harder that would be and I then I actualy feel fortunate that I was only 6 weeks. Hang in there, it will happend for you.

That being said, yesterday I was feeling pretty low. I got an e-mail from a girlfriend of mine who was going to start TTC at the same time as me (back in January)announcing the birth of her little boy! I didn't even know she was pregnant yet! I was really happy for her but I started feeling a bit sorry for myself because that means she got pregnant before she had even started TTC! Why do some people get to be so lucky?

I managed to cheer up though and then I got phone call from another girlfriend. We both have sons and they were born a week apart. We started TTC for #2 at the same time and we were laughing at how it would be really great if our second children were really close in age as well. She called me last night to tell me she is 10 weeks pregnant. I was really happy for her but after I got off the phone with her I started crying. She's as far along as I would have been and her due date is close to when I would have been due. So unfair! Now I have this constant reminder of how far along I could have been and it made me so sad. It took me awhile to stop crying.

Luckily this morning I woke up to some spotting. AF has arrived. Hooray! I don't think I've ever been so happy to see her before. The tricky part now is that DH, DS and I are going to be camping around ovulation time and I'm not sure how we're going to get some BD in. We'll figure something out though, I won't let it stop us lol.

AFM- staying low at the moment on all threads ATM, funny not sure where I belong. Still just waiting to get to 13 weeks and then I will let it seem real. 9 weeks today and it has been the longest 5 weeks of my life, don't know how I will get through the next 4 weeks. I'm dying to tell people but am staying firm. Still suffering from MS, which I didn't with the pg with my mc so just have to keep positive.

AFM I gave in last night and tested, wish i didnt, i wasnt surprised at all it was a BFN but dont know where im at so hoping its too early. The last 3 or 4 days i have had some sticky cm so not too sure what thats about. TMI alert quite a few times i have had to quickly go to the toilet because my knickers have felt very wet and ive thought AF must be here but nope she wasnt just lots of cm. Any idea what this could be??
Anyway better get going and do some housework and go for a walk i think. Talk soon

First of all I just want to say a huge BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE!
I am quite new here, but I feel welcomed with opened arms, but please excuse me if I don't know the abreviations yet.
Here's my story,
I recently went 13 weeks between periods. Negative blood and pee tests. I had an ultrasound at about 5 weeks late (9 weeks since period) and they said I had Polycystic Ovaries, two weeks later I had blood tests done which showed everything even hormones were normal, then another two weeks and I had a period, however a day before that I thought I had a very very faint positve line on a HPT, I thought it may have been an evaporation line. so a few days after my period I tested again and there was a BFP, next day another one and then a day later another one, not 5 days after my 1st BFP it's a very faint postive. So I guesss I had a M/S or Chemical Pregnancy.
Is there any chance that I may still be pregnant? I know I should let it go, but I want it so much. We have been trying for about 18 months, and had two "chemical pregnancies" last year.

I'm really sorry it's been a long long time im between posts on here, I'm not even sure if anyone remembers me...The emotional roller coaster has been pretty intense the last few weeks so I've been hibernating a little bit...and now just to add in some interesting elements...I just did a test, well two actually, and they both came up a big fat :bfp: The first was was quite faint, so trying not to get too excited, I went and got another two tests (one a different brand), I tested with the different brand when i got home and it came up positive almost straight away.
I'm not sure what to think, I'm happy, I'm scared/terrified, and also trying not to get too excited either (which is why I don't seem overly excited at the moment)... I have a doctors appointment on Tuesday (was going to be for a different reason, so it's a nice coincidence in a way...) I'm so sorry i I've come in here rambling about all my good news, but I hope it's ok that I have...

Kyra...I know we don't know each other, but I really hope that everything is ok...my thoughts and prayers are with you darl.

Zeppy - I think you should see your doctor to be sure of what is happening with your body. You could be pregnant even if you had some bleeding. GOOD LUCK.

Tina - OMG girl! When you kept saying you felt AF was coming and it didn't show up I thought "hmmmmm, that's what I said last time and then got a BFP".

Maddison - DH hates TTC sex! He is usually tired and cranky and rolls over straight afterwards while I am left stuck staring at the ceiling because it the best position to be in after the BD. It is one of the least romantic encounters you could imagine.

Kyra and Chickybabe - I am thinking of you both and keep checking the threads quite a bit hoping to see positive things from you.

AFM - no idea of what my cycle will be this month but it looks as though ovulation might be drawing closer. We have decided to try again this month. I think in the next few months I will be trying to wean myself off TTC. The time will come very soon when I must just accept my age and my limitations.

josh'smum - MS is a good sign, I'm sending you good thoughts that all will stay well

eliselouise85 - sounds promising. I hope it's just early and you get a BFP in another few days

Not much going on here. We're planning our camping trip and I'm still trying to find out how we can TTC while we are away. AF isn't being too bad but I can't wait for her to be gone.
SammyP - I have my fingers crossed for you that this is your month.

AFM really want to do another test but i think i will be crushed if i see another BFN. Am not feeling pregnant at all, cm has gone so dont know whats happening. Might just TRY and wait a couple more days and then test.

AGAIN. 11 & 12 DPO. :(

I'd love to be able to say I'm still feeling positive about it all, but the truth is, it's slowly dwindling.. every time I get a BFN, I walk out with less & less positivity. It's so hard. :(

I try to stay positive, I really do. But I guess the universe decides at the end of the day, doesn't it... and this month must not be my month. I just WISH the universe would KNOW this IS the RIGHT TIME, and how much we crave, want, & long for a bubba of our own..!!!

We did everything... we BD'd EVERY day over a 6 day window, we used the OV Watch, pre-seed, we even did it on the side, like I was told to (retroverted uterus)... I really thought this was our month!

I even had the 'symptoms' for the past few days, and felt what I have thought imlpantation cramping. This feeling is different to period pain, it's a weird sorta feeling I can't explain, sorta like a 'pushy' feeling.. and a 'stabbing' feeling if I move the wrong way. I really thought it was bubs settling in for the ride.. & yesterday morning I had what I thought was even a bit of nausea & MS, with a tight throat, and spacey head..

Just goes to show, all the 'symptoms' in the world doesn't guarantee a BFP. Lesson learnt. :cry:
