Chickybabe I know how you feel. The not knowing part was one of the hardest parts of my m/c. I was having serious anxiety during my week of spotting from not knowing what was going on and I felt sick to my stomach from worrying. Once I knew for sure I had M/C I was devastated but physically I felt a lot better as I could stop worrying about what was happening and start the grieving process. I'm hoping you get some good news though at the Dr. I'm sending you lots of sticky vibes.
Thanks Maddison :)

Hi all
Just a quick question..
I know I ovulated from my left ovary last month and I had my period which was only for 2 days and I am still having pains from that ovary :dunno: I have feelings like I am pregnant even though I know that is scientifically impossible, but what would that pain be do you know??
It feels like ovulation pains or something. I m not ovulating, I just find it odd that I am still having those pains. Stupid body.. :wtf:
-
Coco - Not sure on the pain but i guess you could still be pregnant. You should test just in case. You can get breakthrough bleeding when your af should of been due.
-
Yeah I tested yesterday midday-ish and it was negative.
Also My temps are no where near where they would be if I would be pregnant. Just wonder if the corpus luteum is still there or somethin..
-
Starangel, there's nothing wrong with pizza every now and then. Blue cheese pizza sounds yummy!
Emmy83 and murraycod, I'm so sorry for your losses.
Chickybabe, hang in there, and I'm hoping for a good outcome.
I'm going to be sore tomorrow, I walked on the mini tramp for 20 minutes tonight. I also tried to be "good" at work and ate cucumber slices and a lowfat cheese stick for snacking instead of the usual junk out of the vending machine. Cutting out the junk food is going to be harder than I thought.
AF is much lighter than usual, if it's really AF. Has anyone else had a lighter AF the first time after the m/c?
-
Bookworm - Yes, my AF was lighter after the last miscarriage. Normally I have to change my pad every couple of hours in the first two days but this time it was only twice a day.
-
Coco did they do a D&C same time they removed the endo? Maybe that could explain the minimal AF but not sure about the Ovary pain. How do you know you O from that side? Is that just from pain at O time? I was 100% sure I O from my Left Ovary and when I had a scan a week ago my corpus lutheum was on the Right. WTF? Said I definately ovulated on the right and I was sure I did left. Left must have gone out in sympathy perhaps. Are your temps below the coverline or above?
Bookworm my AF after my May m/c in June was heavy. July was light and August another BFP. The bleeding I just had was tissuey but very minimal blood. I am sure I have retained products as my HCG is higher then it ever was when I was pregnant. Doesn't want to review me till next week. I am aching inside like there is stuff still there. Ill be Pee'd off it I then have a D&C a month or so after my m/c.
-
Thanks Twin Sister and Maddison,
I am getting support here and from a couple of friends. My Boyfriend doesn't really grasp what has happened. I don't think he will actually believe I am pregnant till it is comfirmed by a Dr, not a HPT! Anyway, I'm feeling better. Been trying again.
Best wishes and hugs to everyone here!
And thanks for your support.
-
Grrr i just wrote out a really long post with persies and all and the stoopid computer said internet disconnected, aaarggh. No time to rewrite, hello to all the newbies and ill talk again soon
-
haha just looked at my ticker and it says ' a home test may work today', if only it were right, i really wish it would.
-
Hi everyone
Chickybabe, how's the wait going? Sounds like good news that the cramping has stopped and you are only getting brown discharge. After my m/c was confirmed I just wanted it to be over as fast as possible so I really know what you mean. I am thinking of you xx
Zeppy.........we know so much these days without needing to go to the Dr. My Dr didn't even ask me to do a HPT and just sent me for bloods and told me I didn't even need to ring to confirm the results. So despite you not having Dr confirmation, you know whats happened and I really feel for your loss.
Twinsister - my levels were 45 so really low. I too am a POAS addict. Seriously, I took 5 tests last time........even after my first BFP I still did 4 more. 3 just to check the line was getting darker and then 1 final one because it was a digital and I wanted to see the "pregnant" come up. But then as you know.......it wasn't meant to be.
Bookworm - good on you healthy chick!!
Hi to everyone else, this thread is busy I can hardly keep up! :)
AFM - I have a question, I hope you guys can help me out. I took an OPK tonight and it came up positive. I got them from Lullaby Conceptions and they arrived today and due to my m/c I had no idea when I would O, so wanted to try and use them to track it. I definately did not expect a positive OPK - both lines were equally as dark as each other. I started spotting on Sunday the 23rd and had heavy bleeding between Tuesday 25th - Thursday 27th and then very light spotting which stopped on Monday the 31st. Is it even possible that the OPK is right??
-
starangel not too sure about whether the opk would be right or not, im assuming it would be and when you ovulate would also depend on the length of your cycle. I have only just started using opk's myself and have not yet had a positive one so cant really help you there sorry, hopefully it is right though and you can bd and get a lovely BFP nice and quickly :crossfingers:
AFM no idea whats going on, af should be due today if my cycle is 21 days each time ( which im not sure of) Have had waves of nausea but yeterday morning i could have put money on af showing up because of cramping i had but nope she stayed away. Last night at work i thought she was def there again coz i had a very wet feeling down there so i checked and nope still not there. I tested yesterday and it was -ve, so might test again today but not very hopeful at all.
Anyway better head off to bed. Talk soon
-
Starangel - have you had your HCG tested at all, as HCG in your system could cause the positive OPK, otherwisae you could be ovulating!!
Eliselouise- Fingers crossed for you hun, maybe you O'd a bit later this month.
AFM - Been reading but not posting, as i'm still not officially TTC, AF is due tomoro (doesn't really feel like she's coming, although i'm definately not preg!), would complain if she was a few days late as that means my LP had lengthened from it's usual 11 days! Still undecided whether to try this coming month or wait till the next one, conflicting advice from doctors on how long to take the megafol before TTC again, one said 1 month, one said 3 months, and i have been taking it 8 weeks tomor0, so half way....ahhh, i don't know!!
Good luck to everyone testing. Cherished, got everything crossed for you, you crack me up!!!!
-
eliselouise - I had lots of cramping that I presumed meant AF just before I got my last BFP. Cramping can mean a lot of different things.
-
Goodmorning ladies!
I hope that everyone has a stress free and happy day, especially you chickybabe, how are you feeling? It's so lovely to know that there are many good friends here that are sending you
Sparkles before I started IUI I was using opk's because I had no idea when my body was O'ing after MC, two months in a row they showed that I O'd on day 21 22, but both months I had day 21 bloods taken and my levels were over 40....my Specialist tells me that with those levels I had O'd on max day 14, and it was impossible for my levels to be so high if I had just O'd on the day my bloods were taken. Not much help I know but she told me to throw them away.
I know a lot of girls here use opk's and may very well work for them they just didnt for me.
Had trouble trusting specialist bc my cycles were 33days then which would make sense to O at day 21 22..........Im rambling now sorry!:wall:
Mabey get the day 21 levels checked with BT.
Eliselouise fingers crossed that the cramping you feel is the 'good' sort!!! Not over til AF arrives.
Hello to everybody and thank you for the welcomes,
-
Elise - can you manage to hold off till tomorrow and poas with the first morning pee? I'm  for you!
Chickybabe: any news? how are you? I've been keeping an eye out for you. Hope everything is going well.
Hi to everyone else, Hope you are all having a lovely day and getting ready for the weekend. We've had a great string of bfp's in here over the last month so fingerscrossed we keep it going!
AFM: I'm doing well, stressing everyday but at the same time very serene and certain that this is a keeper. We named this one already, kind of an affirmation for ourselves. I'm really really tired but incredibly excited to finally have a bub I'll get to keep.
Thanks to all you lovely girls for your support, my only down side is that I want to take you all with me and all I can do is wish you luck and try to be there for you if its not your month BUT, this is the month ladies...to bd and get those great two lines!
-
Tina- great to hear that you are being so positive. I understand your apprehension. I am coming up to 10 weeks and I am trying to not to get to far ahead of myself. Hopefully your positivity will rub off on me and I can relax a little.
Eliselouise- I'm with Tina, try and hold off and test with first morning wee. This pg I had negative BFP's right up until the day af was due to arrive. I also felt like she was definitely on her way, but she never showed. Here's hoping your story is similar.
Starangel- you could be o, I was diagnosed with PCOS, just before I got a +ve BFP a couple weeks ago. The opk's had always worked for me up until my mc in Dec last year, since then they were never +ve, to the point that I thought I was about to o, went in for diagnostic ultrasound and it had been confirmed that I already had o'd, even though the opk didn't show up. My point is that they don't always work for everyone.
Chickybabe- hoping for some positive news for you.
Hi to Coco, Maddison, Emmy, Twinsister, Ferals, Sunbeam, Anila, Tanya, Kyrawolfe (if you are all still lurking) and to anyone else that I may have missed.

Tina & Josh'smum, i too am hoping af doesnt show and the cramping is caused by something else. Im going to be strong and hold off on testing untill at least tomorow. You have both said with the first morning wee, is a BFP more likely to show up then?? Its a bit hard for me to do that coz im working night shift this week so i actually go to bed at about 7am so my body clock is all around the wrong way.
Im glad to hear that everything is going along well for you both, Tina i like the idea of naming your little bub already now it will feel extraly loved and now it has to stay on for the long journey ahead  10 weeks josh'smum thats very exciting, hopefully the next 30 fly along nice & quickly for you. Do you have facebook? If you want you can add me on there Elise Baudinette. :stickyvibesgirl: & :bellyrubs: to you both.
Sammyp i am hoping the cramping is caused by something other than AF too. How are you going now hunny, ive been thinking of you
Sparkles that is a hard decision, i would try this month as it is half way between what each doctor has told you so it sounds only fair  Whatever you decide i hope you get your BFP as soon as you start trying again.
AFM Just a question which i already asked above but thought someone may be able to answer it for me. Is a BFP more likely to show up with first morning wee?? I am working nightshift this week so i go to bed at 7am and get up at about 3 or 4 in the afternoon (but that also wouldnt be my first wee of the day as i get up a couple of times for the toilet...sorry for TMI) Anyway better stop rambling and go and organise some dinner.
-
Eliselouise- basically it will show up better with the most concentrated wee. So the best time to test would be probably after the longest period you are asleep for (and don't wee) whenever this may be for you!! Goodluck hun!!
I think AF may be on her way....damn i was hoping my Luteal phase might have stretched out a little but if she does come tomoro, that is 2 28 day cycles in a row, very impressed if thats the case! I don't think we'll make our minds up about trying till AF is on her way out..will let you all know what we decide!!
-
Eliselouise- they say on the pg tests that first morning urine is usually best as it is the most concentrated and therefore most likely to be the highest concentration of HCG. If your working night shift, try and work out when your most concentrated urine is (ie. when you haven't had the opportunity to go the loo for a while and haven't had much to drink in the hours leading up to it). Hope this helps, go get that BFP.
Cheers
Lisa
Sorry sparkles, looks like we posted at about the same time.
-
Emmy and Sammy, thanks for the information. AF is a little more like the usual today, though it's not surprising if she's lighter this time around, considering how much blood I lost in the m/c. I'm still doing all right avoiding most of the sweets, trying to concentrate on being as healthy as possible when we start ttc in about a month. It's a bit strange cooking different food for myself and DH--he's skinny and can eat anything he wants. In fact, he rides a bicycle 10 miles a day round trip to work, so he needs every calorie he can get his hands on. So he'll get the mounds of pasta and I get baked chicken and steamed veggies... *sigh*
Best of luck to everyone who's testing right now--may you get good results. Eliselouise, I work a late shift, too. I do any testing (OPK or hpt) when I get up in the early afternoon.
-
Eliseloise - thanks for thinking of me. I still feel a bit stunned as things happened so fast. Nevertheless, it appears as though ovulation is about to occur so we have taken advantage of that and are prepared to put ourselves through at least another month of TTC.
If you are on night duty your body might be messed around a bit so don't be disheartened if you don't see a BFP just yet as you won't know when your HCG levels are highest, it might well take a couple of days to show up. Good luck sweetie, I have a good feeling about this!
-
Morning all
Sammy - stunned is such a good way to explain it. I keep thinking I am disappointed and while that is true, stunned is also how I feel. I was thinking yesterday how I just wish I could wake up in the morning and it was all a dream. It just happened so fast, one minute I was preg and thrilled and making plans and the next minute I was having a m/c. We are also TTC this month............not going to lie - I'm finding it a bit difficult emotionally.
Bookworm - my DH can eat whatever he wants as well!! What the! I should add that he runs every single day and gets up early to do stuff when I am still sleeping......but still ;)
Sparkles - fingers crossed AF has stayed away.
Hi to everyone else I have missed!! Can't stay long, already running late for workies.
AFM - thanks for your comments re my positive OPK. Last night I did a HPT and an OPK and both were negative. I took the HPT just to check there was no preg hormone still running around in me..........so I am figuring the positive OPK on Wednesday night meant I was actually going to O in the next 24 - 36 hours??
-
Thanx sammy, thats great that your about to ovulate again so quickly after the m/c, definately take advantage and hopefully this is your month, we both know you deserve it. I too have a good feeling about this month most of the time but then i get these bloody cramps which are excactly the same as before af shows up and i think to myself nope not happening. Gonna test again this arvo when i wake up and hopefully its a BFP!!
-
Starangel - I want AF to show up, we weren't allowed to try this month on doc's orders!! So hopefully she shows up right on time!!
Good luck Elise!
-
Sorry Sparkles - I'm silly today!! Then I will keep my fingers crossed AF does show up for you :)
-
AF showed up this morning, I really thought I was pregnant this month, what an idiot? I clearly have no idea about my body. To rub salt onto my wounds the EDD of my 1st angel is exactly 30 days from today, seeing I have 30 day cycles I will either get a BFP or a Big Fat AF on October 3rd on my due date, just to remind me of how crap this whole thing is :crying: I can?t believe this is happening to me.
-
Oh Cherished
I was really hoping you would get a BFP.
I have everything crossed that this is your month !
xoxoxo
I am going to send you all lots of :bluedust:
I rang the Prgnancy assessment clinic yesterday - spoke to a different nice lady. She said there isnt any point doing a BT till after the scan on Monday cause they dont have anything to compare it to. So it was a waste of a phone call. I just wait it out - again ! I just wanted to feel like i was doing something ! Anyway - Monday is slowly getting closer. Everything has stopped again - thankfully. I say that carefully cause last time i did - within an hour i was bleeding....
School Holidays start here today - going to have very bored kids. I am not going anywhere much - just going to rest and cause i am feeling ill and so tired i cant be bothered ! Luckily they have plenty to do at home.
Hope you are all well !

I have my post op appointment for the laparoscopy/hysteroscopy (for the newbies, I had it in july) in an hour and my husband just sent me the photos from our friend's ultrasound...
Stupid me said yes to looking at it and as soon as I did my pulse started racing..literally..and I felt jealousy, rage, sadness and nervousness...
Then I saw the email pop up..and I hesitated, but I looked..
I should have waited until after the post op appointment to look because Now Im in tears sobbing like a..well...baby. :crying:
-
Awwww Coco :( ((hugs))
Cherished, I am sorry AF showed up this cycle. :( xx
CB, waiting is a killer, huh? I hope Monday comes around very quickly!
-
:wall::wall::wall: could it get any worse! dh's mum and aunty are here for lunch and his anuty (who I dont' really like anyway) gets out her pics of dh's cousins 2nd bub who is 2 months old... Of course I didn't want to be rude so I looked at them (without commenting) dh just rubbed my back in support.... It's not her fault, she doesn't know what is going on but I am really upset today
Coco at least you had a choice to look or not.. I'll be ok thanks for asking honey. Hope your appointment goes well
Tanya thanks lovely, it looks like it'll be next cycle for both of us... when are you ovulating? You must be bd'ing around now?
-
Big cuddles Cherished.:grouphug::hug: You're a toughey, I know that already. I just wish I could make things better for you. :wall:
-
Cherished..sorry I didnt ask, hope you're ok, I was having a meltdown..was focusing on me for once. I needed to. Sorry if I upset you by not replying to your post. I didnt see it.
-
Coco
I really hope you are ok !
That must be so hard for you :comfort:
xoxoxox
-
Thanks ladies. Im just..I dont know. Ive had enough of this crap! Argh!!!
DH was ordered to take his vitamins and also we have been given the options of either
a) waiting a few more months to see whether we get lucky
or
b)Start going through having either IUI or IVF now.
I just dont want us to be one of those statistics of having to have assisted conception. One of those "why me" things u know? Ugh..
On the plus side it if it has been 18 months with the only pregnancy ending in miscarriage and now 2 years with no pregnancy still and then the laparoscopy and endo removal the gynae seems to think that the previous time before that can be wiped off the record. So now its like...We've been trying for 7 weeks :wtf:
That's fine, but how do I wipe my emotional slate clean??? Any tips? Because Im starting to border on overload..
-
Hi Ladies,
Sounds like a few of you are having a hard day.
Its never easy to be happy for others when we all want so badly to have a baby of our own. Just a few deep breaths and remember that it is going to happen.
Coco - Im sorry you had to see the photos. Maybe you should ask dh just for now not to pass any of that stuff on to you.
Cherished - Sorry you got stuck looking at pics too. And im sorry that a/f showed up. This is the worst time to be trying to be happy for others. Well done on holding it all together.
Chickybabe - Im glad the bleeding has stopped. Continue to rest up and hopefully the scary part is all over for you.
Eliselouise - Has a/f come or are you still waiting. I so hope you get your BFP!
Big :hello: to everyone else out there.
-
Coco good luck with the post op appt this arvo hope all goes well :)
Cherished honey that must have been so hard, hope you are feeling ok now and hopefully you can get a BFP on your little angels EDD
Chickybabe thats good news that everything has stopped and hopefully now it will stay away for good. Good luck on monday and im sure everything will be fine for you hun
AFM done another test this arvo and no surprise another BFN and to top itall off im 99% sure AF will be here within a few hours :wall: GRRRR!!! and to quote what you said in an earlier post cherished,
I really thought i was pregnant this month, what an idiot!
Anyway i suppose not much that can be done about that now, so just have to try and stay positive and get myself ready for next month (which i cant see happening as DB starts harvest and works away from home majority of the time, so no doubt we'll miss BDing at O time :wall: )
Anyway thanx for listening to my whinge and good luck to anyone testing over the weekend!
-
Coco - Sorry about the not so good news. Why dont you get on the assisted conception forum and ask a few questions of the ladies in there? I have a friend who TTC naturally for over 2 years, then did about 6 rounds of IVF and then when the doctor told them they would have to look for donor eggs or donor sperm they gave up... A few months later they got a natural BFP and now have a healthy baby girl. What im trying to say is maybe you are just far too stressed. Maybe its time to just have a break, consider your options and (that dreaded word) relax. I know its not what you want to hear but maybe it would help. :comfort:
-
Just as i had suspected, AF has just shown up GRRRRR, looks like its gonna have to be next month now :crying:
-
Eliselouise - I'm sorry this wasn't your month. Poor babe, I'll keep my fingers crossed for next month.
Coco - Good point about your emotional slate. I think your news was reasonably positive though. Have you only had once cycle since the procedure?
