Starangel - have you had your HCG tested at all, as HCG in your system could cause the positive OPK, otherwisae you could be ovulating!!
Eliselouise- Fingers crossed for you hun, maybe you O'd a bit later this month.
AFM - Been reading but not posting, as i'm still not officially TTC, AF is due tomoro (doesn't really feel like she's coming, although i'm definately not preg!), would complain if she was a few days late as that means my LP had lengthened from it's usual 11 days! Still undecided whether to try this coming month or wait till the next one, conflicting advice from doctors on how long to take the megafol before TTC again, one said 1 month, one said 3 months, and i have been taking it 8 weeks tomor0, so half way....ahhh, i don't know!!
Good luck to everyone testing. Cherished, got everything crossed for you, you crack me up!!!!

eliselouise - I had lots of cramping that I presumed meant AF just before I got my last BFP. Cramping can mean a lot of different things.

    Goodmorning ladies!
I hope that everyone has a stress free and happy day, especially you chickybabe, how are you feeling? It's so lovely to know that there are many good friends here that are sending you
Sparkles before I started IUI I was using opk's because I had no idea when my body was O'ing after MC, two months in a row they showed that I O'd on day 21 22, but both months I had day 21 bloods taken and my levels were over 40....my Specialist tells me that with those levels I had O'd on max day 14, and it was impossible for my levels to be so high if I had just O'd on the day my bloods were taken. Not much help I know but she told me to throw them away.
I know a lot of girls here use opk's and may very well work for them they just didnt for me.
Had trouble trusting specialist bc my cycles were 33days then which would make sense to O at day 21 22..........Im rambling now sorry!
Mabey get the day 21 levels checked with BT.
Eliselouise fingers crossed that the cramping you feel is the 'good' sort!!! Not over til AF arrives.
Hello to everybody and thank you for the welcomes,

Elise - can you manage to hold off till tomorrow and poas with the first morning pee? I'm for you!

Chickybabe: any news? how are you? I've been keeping an eye out for you. Hope everything is going well.

Hi to everyone else, Hope you are all having a lovely day and getting ready for the weekend. We've had a great string of bfp's in here over the last month so fingerscrossed we keep it going!

AFM: I'm doing well, stressing everyday but at the same time very serene and certain that this is a keeper. We named this one already, kind of an affirmation for ourselves. I'm really really tired but incredibly excited to finally have a bub I'll get to keep.

Thanks to all you lovely girls for your support, my only down side is that I want to take you all with me and all I can do is wish you luck and try to be there for you if its not your month BUT, this is the month ladies...to bd and get those great two lines!

Tina- great to hear that you are being so positive. I understand your apprehension. I am coming up to 10 weeks and I am trying to not to get to far ahead of myself. Hopefully your positivity will rub off on me and I can relax a little.

Eliselouise- I'm with Tina, try and hold off and test with first morning wee. This pg I had negative BFP's right up until the day af was due to arrive. I also felt like she was definitely on her way, but she never showed. Here's hoping your story is similar.

Starangel- you could be o, I was diagnosed with PCOS, just before I got a +ve BFP a couple weeks ago. The opk's had always worked for me up until my mc in Dec last year, since then they were never +ve, to the point that I thought I was about to o, went in for diagnostic ultrasound and it had been confirmed that I already had o'd, even though the opk didn't show up. My point is that they don't always work for everyone.

Chickybabe- hoping for some positive news for you.

Hi to Coco, Maddison, Emmy, Twinsister, Ferals, Sunbeam, Anila, Tanya, Kyrawolfe (if you are all still lurking) and to anyone else that I may have missed.

Tina & Josh'smum, i too am hoping af doesnt show and the cramping is caused by something else. Im going to be strong and hold off on testing untill at least tomorow. You have both said with the first morning wee, is a BFP more likely to show up then?? Its a bit hard for me to do that coz im working night shift this week so i actually go to bed at about 7am so my body clock is all around the wrong way.
Im glad to hear that everything is going along well for you both, Tina i like the idea of naming your little bub already now it will feel extraly loved and now it has to stay on for the long journey ahead 10 weeks josh'smum thats very exciting, hopefully the next 30 fly along nice & quickly for you. Do you have facebook? If you want you can add me on there Elise Baudinette. & to you both.
Sammyp i am hoping the cramping is caused by something other than AF too. How are you going now hunny, ive been thinking of you
Sparkles that is a hard decision, i would try this month as it is half way between what each doctor has told you so it sounds only fair Whatever you decide i hope you get your BFP as soon as you start trying again.

AFM Just a question which i already asked above but thought someone may be able to answer it for me. Is a BFP more likely to show up with first morning wee?? I am working nightshift this week so i go to bed at 7am and get up at about 3 or 4 in the afternoon (but that also wouldnt be my first wee of the day as i get up a couple of times for the toilet...sorry for TMI) Anyway better stop rambling and go and organise some dinner.

Eliselouise- basically it will show up better with the most concentrated wee. So the best time to test would be probably after the longest period you are asleep for (and don't wee) whenever this may be for you!! Goodluck hun!!
I think AF may be on her way....damn i was hoping my Luteal phase might have stretched out a little but if she does come tomoro, that is 2 28 day cycles in a row, very impressed if thats the case! I don't think we'll make our minds up about trying till AF is on her way out..will let you all know what we decide!!

Eliselouise- they say on the pg tests that first morning urine is usually best as it is the most concentrated and therefore most likely to be the highest concentration of HCG. If your working night shift, try and work out when your most concentrated urine is (ie. when you haven't had the opportunity to go the loo for a while and haven't had much to drink in the hours leading up to it). Hope this helps, go get that BFP.

    Cheers
    Lisa

Sorry sparkles, looks like we posted at about the same time.

Emmy and Sammy, thanks for the information. AF is a little more like the usual today, though it's not surprising if she's lighter this time around, considering how much blood I lost in the m/c. I'm still doing all right avoiding most of the sweets, trying to concentrate on being as healthy as possible when we start ttc in about a month. It's a bit strange cooking different food for myself and DH--he's skinny and can eat anything he wants. In fact, he rides a bicycle 10 miles a day round trip to work, so he needs every calorie he can get his hands on. So he'll get the mounds of pasta and I get baked chicken and steamed veggies... *sigh*

Best of luck to everyone who's testing right now--may you get good results. Eliselouise, I work a late shift, too. I do any testing (OPK or hpt) when I get up in the early afternoon.

Eliseloise - thanks for thinking of me. I still feel a bit stunned as things happened so fast. Nevertheless, it appears as though ovulation is about to occur so we have taken advantage of that and are prepared to put ourselves through at least another month of TTC.

If you are on night duty your body might be messed around a bit so don't be disheartened if you don't see a BFP just yet as you won't know when your HCG levels are highest, it might well take a couple of days to show up. Good luck sweetie, I have a good feeling about this!

    Morning all

Sammy - stunned is such a good way to explain it. I keep thinking I am disappointed and while that is true, stunned is also how I feel. I was thinking yesterday how I just wish I could wake up in the morning and it was all a dream. It just happened so fast, one minute I was preg and thrilled and making plans and the next minute I was having a m/c. We are also TTC this month............not going to lie - I'm finding it a bit difficult emotionally.

Bookworm - my DH can eat whatever he wants as well!! What the! I should add that he runs every single day and gets up early to do stuff when I am still sleeping......but still

Sparkles - fingers crossed AF has stayed away.

Hi to everyone else I have missed!! Can't stay long, already running late for workies.

AFM - thanks for your comments re my positive OPK. Last night I did a HPT and an OPK and both were negative. I took the HPT just to check there was no preg hormone still running around in me..........so I am figuring the positive OPK on Wednesday night meant I was actually going to O in the next 24 - 36 hours??

I too have a good feeling about this month most of the time but then i get these bloody cramps which are excactly the same as before af shows up and i think to myself nope not happening. Gonna test again this arvo when i wake up and hopefully its a BFP!!

AF showed up this morning, I really thought I was pregnant this month, what an idiot? I clearly have no idea about my body. To rub salt onto my wounds the EDD of my 1st angel is exactly 30 days from today, seeing I have 30 day cycles I will either get a BFP or a Big Fat AF on October 3rd on my due date, just to remind me of how crap this whole thing is I can?t believe this is happening to me.

    Oh Cherished

I was really hoping you would get a BFP.
I have everything crossed that this is your month !
    xoxoxo

I am going to send you all lots of

I rang the Prgnancy assessment clinic yesterday - spoke to a different nice lady. She said there isnt any point doing a BT till after the scan on Monday cause they dont have anything to compare it to. So it was a waste of a phone call. I just wait it out - again ! I just wanted to feel like i was doing something ! Anyway - Monday is slowly getting closer. Everything has stopped again - thankfully. I say that carefully cause last time i did - within an hour i was bleeding....

School Holidays start here today - going to have very bored kids. I am not going anywhere much - just going to rest and cause i am feeling ill and so tired i cant be bothered ! Luckily they have plenty to do at home.

Hope you are all well !

I have my post op appointment for the laparoscopy/hysteroscopy (for the newbies, I had it in july) in an hour and my husband just sent me the photos from our friend's ultrasound...

Stupid me said yes to looking at it and as soon as I did my pulse started racing..literally..and I felt jealousy, rage, sadness and nervousness...

Then I saw the email pop up..and I hesitated, but I looked..

I should have waited until after the post op appointment to look because Now Im in tears sobbing like a..well...baby.
