Hello all my belly belly girls,
I feel bit bad just dropping in given that i'm hardly on here anymore but wanted to let you know I got my official :bfp: today. I had very faint positives on early tests I got off the net for the last 3 days. They had been getting darker but were still very light and these tests are supposed to test at 10miu (rather than 25miu like shop ones.) so I'd been worried it was not strong enough to hold. Had my blood test today and my hcg is 50 and prog. 79 :D The psychic was right she said i'd be pregnant by Christmas and I was, (just didn't know till 4 days after).
Milly and ferrals I have everything crossed for both of you :crossfingers: lets keep the BFPs coming.
Happy New Years everyone.

That is just awesome news..... This forum is on a roll now... Who will be next???

Sunbeam glad the physic was right! congrats :)
murraycod you are looking forward to injections! lol all for a good cause. hope it all goes well for you.
milly5 i will be waiting for your result. if i was you i'd be out there buying tests! internet cheapies sound more trouble than they are worth
ciara.e youv'e had a hard year to deal with all those losses. after all i have been through i can't wait for the year to be over.
ferrals4 sounds like you have a plan! i know what you mean about things not feeling right. all through the 3 months i was pg i complained to various people i didn't feel right, and felt like crap but no-one seemed to think anything of it.
afm i am back from my news years party already. there were 3 pg people out of 4 girls that were there and it has tipped me over the edge. i didn't want my dh to miss out so he stayed and i have to pick him up later. a great end to the worst year of my life :crying:

SPF-i diddnt even go to my NYE party i had a bad day at work after the 13 women who fell pregnant after we lost abbi have had their babies and left i dont have to look at preganat bellies anymore i started to feel better at work and a lot happier now today there was 4 in one day 2 skanks pregnant to the same guy and are at each others throats at work and the one who i mentioned not long ago with one ovary and one tube and the 6 boys well she is pregnant with number 7 and to her ex when he came for a visit to see his boys a one time thing and bam! shes pregnant and the other girl who has been with her BF for 2 months so the 2nd wave of pregnant bellies is comming at me so after the worst year of my life apart from marrying my man i cant wait for it to be over my AF hasnt shown her head yet i only used the internet cheapies but i will wait a few more days to see if she shows.
Murrycod -i am here for you i will be going on holiday on the 16th til the 25th with no computer but i should be able to sneak a peak on the inlaws from time to time we are staying near their place we have a house on the beach down the south coast for a week.
Ciara- i have put on 2 kilos and i feel awful i have given myself 2 weeks to lose it i hope it is just AF bloating and will disapear in a few days.
Milly- i know i am hormonal at the moment i just feel like enough is enough and being here when everyone gets there BFP is hard you see i cant even be happy if i get that far i have to wait until 12 weeks to get our genetic test and get the all clear so i have two hurdles to overcome and the odds are not in our favour when your put it all together i might need a break from the forum for a while to get the whole TTC stress out of my head the more people get pregnant around me i dont do to well.
Anyway happy new year everyone i will be back in a few days i need some time off.

CONGRATULATIONS Sunbeam I am so happy for you, that is the greatest start to a New Year and hopefully there are plenty more BFP's to come very soon for the rest of the girls in here.
Milly have you tested again yet? Im keeping watch to see if youve had a stronger BFP. I have a good feeling for you though that your now UTD
Ferals i am keeping everything crossed for you that AF doesnt show up and that you get your well deserved BFP to start the New Year off.
Murraycod WOO HOO to the injections :D I really hope you can get your BFP at the end of your IVF cycle and im not going anywhere untill you do

Hi girls! I have 5 minutes to say CONGRATULATIONS to SUNBEAM!
And....
are these sore boobs, or the result of my most recent face plants and a week of skiing? Hmmm.... I'm thinking the latter.
NYE here was brilliant, we watched the fireworks then went to a temple and shrine to ring a gong to farewell 2009, then ring another one to ring in 2010, and make a wish and get blessed by a monk. You'll never guess what I wished for.... :D It was snowing throughout, and it was so beautiful.
Hope you're all well!
-
SUNBEAM CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
Snugglybean sounds like you are having the time of your life!!!! The Japanese temples must be so beutiful X
Ferrals the wave of last years pregnant convention at my work is over for now, last one had her baby 23rd Dec, I'm crapping myself because as you said, it comes in waves and I'm terrified of the day I go to work to find out that the pregnant fairy visited everybody but me again! Every time I find out someone at work is pregnant, I take it like it is a personal attack on me.....(i know deep down it isn't ofcourse, but I'm a hormonal female!)
SPF sorry you had to go hame early last night XXXXX
Eliselouise, Thank you sweetheart
FSH didn't hurt a bit, DH told me to "SIT STILL" wen he was giving me the inj cuz I got the giggles up...:)
Am sooo tired today, got out of bed about 2hrs ago, stayed up untill 3am, watching everyone falling over themselves under the Afluence of Incahol........

Happy New Year all!
Sunbeam & Milly - HUGE congrats! Such fab news for you and inspiration for all of us!
Murraycod - awesome to hear that IVF has started! Im excited for you, cant begin to imagine how excited you are!!
Scary - sorry to hear your new years eve wasnt very enjoyable but.... today is not only a new day, but a new year - start it positive! I know a lot of us have due dates coming up (mine too in March) but we all need to try and move forward and take control! Lets pray that this time next year, we will have a beautiful baby in our arms or a strong BFP!!
Ferrals - dig deep and find the strength that you have used to get you this far... it's in there somewhere, dont forget how to use it xx
AFM -have been having acupuncture, being treated for depression! Great!! But must admit, feeling much more at ease and sleeping better, my mood has definatly improved! + ive started running again, always helps!! survived christmas and new year with only a handful of meltdowns! have been away with all my family and was fab! still have 10 days till i have to go back to work, whoo hoo! still in the shagfest stage, started using Maybe Baby today and its showing im in the 'transition period' so hopefully it will show the 'fertile period' in the next few days! Fingers crossed! Has anyone used MaybeBaby? What are your thoughts on it??
-
t hopes - I haven't used that particular ovulation predictor but use a similar one. The little ferns seem to coincide with the change in CM for me, so that's something. I use it just as I wake up. The funniest thing about using the ovulation predictor and thermometer is that one of the fur babies (aka cat) without fail tries to come and chew them and will run from anywhere in the house to do it, followed by a nice long cuddle. It's kind of like a morning tradition now.
milly 5 - have those lines gotten any stronger?
sunbeam - congrats! Your news is awesome
murraycod - its good to hear you have made it through the first injections! fingers crossed for you..... hows the treadmill going? I don't have the room for one, so rely on getting outside or to the gym for a run or a walk. I have been doing well whilst on holidays let see how I go next week when I go back to work. I once hated running, but now love it, most of the time. I went for a run the other day, and every step I wanted to stop but I didn't. Didn't I feel like the cat that got the cream when I finished without giving up, despite how hard each and every step was. A bit of a lesson for me in my TCC journey huh? I give you permission to remind me of this when I get down.
SPF - sorry that your NYE was so hard.... apart from logging on to BB what else did you do?
Sparkles - it was me that asked! How bitter sweet will that holiday be. Make sure you take the time to look after yourself.
Ciara.e - you poor blossom. How long have you been vomitting for? How do you find the energy to write such positive posts? I didn't want the year to end either, because it was a link to my angel babies.
Hi Maddison, Smallfryplus - I am pretty excited for you, TwinSis -hope you are feeling better soon from your bug. What a lovely thing to bring home with you - NOT. It's pretty cold in the northern hemisphere this winter. Take care of yourself. Why is pregnancy after loss so hard? I am not pg now, but have been there, and it is so very scary. Hope the spotting is just one of those things and not a harbinger of doom.
AFM - well we achieved the mini goal of 7 days straight, not such a bad achievement for the last day of 2009. I am not sore, and no UTI...yet, but am happy to have, at least so far today, a break from the shagging.
My poor BF got a BFN for NYE on her frostie transfer. I am so proud of her, instead of staying at home, which is what I was encouraging her to do, she picked herself up and went to a NYE party. Got to remember to tell her I am proud of her.
Thankyou for all the thoughtful and encouraging comments in response to my post about not wanting 209 to end. I am really blessed, to have found BB and because despite how hard as the year was for me, including my bro being in a near fatal accident and being in ICU for 60 days with some very close calls, this was the year I realised what a privelege it is being a mother and how much joy being a mum and how much happiness my babies have given me, even if they are now angel babies. I know not everyone has those feelings too, and I am just glad for me, that I do. Sometimes apart from the furry felines, it is those gifts I have been given hat get me through.
It's weird coming into BB sometimes, to find some many kindred spirits. In the outside world my losses are regarded as quite unique, and so I don't get to talk about, but in here, I get to and realise that I am not the only one doing it tough. Sometimes that's hearbreaking to realise there is so much hurt in the world, but most of the time, it's just such a nice place to come and be.
Ferals4 - I know its hard seeing others get the news you want so badly and then that even as exciting as a BFP is, it is just the start of a really hard journey. You sound like you're in a really tough sport right now. Take your time. You will get there, and when you're ready to come back, you will be welcomed with open arms. My fur babies and me send you our best miaows and purrs. It's what helped me get through the really tough times, my furry little felines. So lots of cat hugs your way.

Happy New Year Girls !
Just a quick note to say congrtulations to those who got a BFP last year and to all of us in this thread this is going to be our year !
Murraycod way to go girl stay positive and keep thinking of that little bundle that will be in your arms next new years ! hope your jabs don't make you feel too bad and all my prayers are with you these next few weeks,
Ferrals any news did Af turn up ? are you testing again ? this is our year I can feel it in my old bones !
SPfairy sorry you had a bad night its **** the way our emotions just don't give us a break but keep going think positive ! we will all be moving threads sooon !
AFM well I did a opk this morning and got a positive so will be :bd: today and tomorow then I will be in the TWW anyone else joining me in the TWW ? I have such hope that this will be my month but if not I WILL NOT GIVE UP !
As for my friend I had an email at long last she is ok delivered a baby boy 27th Dec he was perfect in every way just not alive shame poor girl she is worried as she had the swine flu jab two weeks ago and they are doing tests but I am not convinced that is the reason his heart stopped there was a query about his size at her scan she only scanned at 12wks and she thought she was more like 15wks so alarm bells rang for me then !
Did bring back all my own sadness and I did relive my own MC all over again but that is the way with us ladies we have to brush ourselves down and get up and carry on trying and never never give up !
sorry if that was a bit long winded but I am sad for my friend as well as all of us who have lost a baby in 2009 I agree with spfairy glad to see the back of 2009 and welcome 2010 :)
-
Hey Crafty - I am so sorry that your friend is going through the torment and anguish losing a bub. But she has a wonderfully wise and understanding friend in you.
-
Thanks Dory
I guess you more than anyone understands what she is going through I have read your story and wow you had a really bad year I pray this year will bring you peace and Happiness and a little bundle to top it all ! :)

Milly - enjoy the houseguests. I can't wait to hear all about your BFP when you return!!
Murraycod - hope the treadmill's going well for you. I have just been going bike riding and jogging with DD and DP, plus skipping etc in the backyard. I'm pretty happy with that for now. Next week i'll hit the weights and probably cycle classes again. Hope the injections aren't bothering you too much. I'm really praying to see the end of your ttc.. with a BFP. Hoping the next wave of pregnant ladies at your work includes you!!
Sunbeam - congrats. What a great christmas present! Even if it was a little belated. All the best with this one babe!
SPF - I'm happy to say that 2009 is finally over and you have officially left the worst year of your life. Gosh, no one tells you that life get's this hard do they? But lets look forward into 2010! I am praying for your BFP ASAP!!
Ferrals - aww hun, it's been rough. But with AF staying away so far, perhaps this is your month? I'm not a fan of the internet tests, so i'm hoping that you really to have a BFP just waiting to show up! Keep us informed! As for those two women UTD to the same guy at the same time... oh it makes me sick to my stomach. I understand your frustrations at that one! Grrr.
Snugglybean - what a wonderful way to see out 2009! Hopefully those sore bbs are the just the beginning of many wonderful UTD symptoms??? Hoping for a BFP soon hun.
T-hopes - enjoy your shag fest! Hoping your tww goes fast to reveal a BFP for you also.
Dory - so glad u didn't give up on your run! What an inspiration! See, you really CAN do anything! I know what you mean about having a rough trot yet feeling lucky for having had the experience. I just try to think - at least I got to experience pregnancy... even if it was lost too soon. We are all blessed in our own ways.. let's just hope we're all lucky enough to be blessed with our 2010 babies. As far as my vomiting goes, it's been a few days now. gosh feels like forever haha. Wish I could say that it's a pg symptom.. but I really don't think that's it at all. And just so you know - you're gorgeous! your post about finding kindred spirits in BB was just so touching. I feel the same way inside, but i find it so hard to express it using a computer! Thanks so much for sharing that. It means a lot, and i am sure everyone here feels the same.
Crafty - Dory's right, your friend is very lucky to have you at this time in her life. When you have a great friend by your side, you don't even need to exchange words... just knowing that they're there for you is sometimes all we need. As for your 2ww, I'll be halfway through, but will be going just as crazy as you waiting to test. good luck hun! Make him thrust a little deeper for good measure! haha (sorry that was a little naughty of me).
AFM - well i made it into 2010. I was going to sit at home and watch a dvd for new years, but got a call from a great friend who's 5 or 6 months pregnant. So i went to her place on the gold coast for a couple of hours to hang out. It was great to see her, but i spent almost the entire time crying over my losses. Was just hard to see her pregnant when i'm not. How selfish is that? Well it wasn't all bad. We got a great chance to just talk about all the stuff that's hit us this year just past... D and M's always make for a great night. Well i've been stuck living with relatives over christmas so it makes ttc a lot harder when u don't wanna wake anyone lol. my mum and her partner leave on Monday or Tuesday, and my grandmother leaves on Saturday I think... so I'm timing my 2ww by that. hopefully the day Grandma goes home to NSW is the day i get my BFP. I've never wanted my family to leave to much before! sounds so horrible doesn't it?
Well that's it for me just now. I'm sorry that we all had the rough times we did last year, but i'm being hopeful that we'll all be blessed this year. No matter what, I agree with dory 100% - its truly a blessing finding such wonderful people like yourselves to share this journey with. I wish we all lived in the same area, cos i just wanna hug u guys sometimes.
To all the ladies whom i've missed - i hope your new years was happy and i look forward to hearing all about your BFPs and healthy bubs in 2010
xxx

Congratulations Sunbeam. This sounds like it's going to be your year!
I'm waiting to hear some good things from you too Milly. It all sounds very promising.
-
Hi girls,
Thank you all so much for your best wishes. I put my first post on PAML yesterday, it felt very odd after 9 months on here. Not brave enough to make a pregnancy ticker yet but I'm sure I'll get there.
Milly what's going on?
Here's hoping the BFPs continue and we are all together on PAML soon.:goodluck:
