Evening ladies i had a panic attack today i changed my email address on BB and then couldn't read or post on the forum until i received an email to confirm the change and my email account was playing up so had to wait all day to get on but PHEW!!! i'm here anyway just wanted to pop in and say hi i hope everyone is doing ok.
AFM- it is 3-4DPO and today i am feeling pretty crampy down below (hopefully implantation) my boobs are getting sore but as we know that is normal for the 2nd half of a cycle and last month mine were super sore and AF turned up so i wont take that as a sign but i am hopeing this is my month.
Kirsten :( sorry you got your AF. Hope next month is the one.
Minimatron - ha nice thought! no, think AF is coming soon. That's so great the nurse could get a little heartbeat and that your levels are good. I hope you have a v. healthy and event-free pg with this one - congrats again!
MathewsMum - dr appt was good. Feel much more secure knowing someone up here has my history now. I've decided to get some counseling - hopefully won't need to be for long, just finding things a bit tough atm but trying to stay positive and hopeful. All the best for your IVF treatment! I have a lovely FS and have found all the staff to be very caring. I hope you have the same positive experience. Fingers crossed.
Ferrals -here's hoping it's implantation cramps!
Going to be away most of this week with work and a training course so will pop in when I can but hope everyone has a good week.
I've sent off my details for my avi - can't wait to see it!
Bye now,

OMG how can I take this I should be happy but instead all I can do is cry and the tears keep coming ! what the hell has happened to me ! just can't take it anymore this is just not me ! I am really trying to put a brave face on it all but its not working I am just so selfish I know that but why do I feel so down ?
Sorry for the me post but I feel as if no-one understands how I feel and no-one is even thinking of how this makes me feel :crying: Had a few glasses of wine which really is a no no for me this far into my cycle but its not helped one bit,
Will speak tomoro maybe I will feel better !

Awww Crafty hang in there try and look at the positive side of becomming a nan there is more children for you to love and spoil and just because you are going to become a nan does not mean for one minute that you cant have another baby of your own you started your family young as i did my son is almost 17 and has had a steady girlfriend 18 for a year now i worry that she will get pregnant and always say to them do not make me a nanna before i have my own baby but at the end of the day what can you do our kids have there own lives to get on with and that just means a bigger loving family all round so try to look at this as a good thing your son and DIL get to experience the miracle of having a baby as we know is a precious gift and when you do have your baby they wont care if there neice or nephew is older then them you will get through this us women have to thats what mums do we soilder on and take life head on with whatever is thrown our way.
Hubbabubba-oooh! sounds good fingers crossed for you.
Jahzara-hope the witch doesnt show and its just not showing up yet enjoy AC/DC my hubby is jealous.

HUGS AND LOVEE
Crafty: It's totally fine to be unhappy, I know you'll be happy for them later, but for now, look after yourself! I caught up with some friends and one of them has a 3 month old, I was so jealous, my friend asked me if I wanted to hold the baby and I looked at her like she was crazy and said 'NO!' Not exactly subtle. I know deep down I'm happy for her, but at the moment I'm more sad for me than I am happy for her, but it will change, I think it'll change for you too.
Kirsten: I think we should ban AF, this should be the last time she visits you for oh, say about 9 months :)
HubbaBubba: Congratulations, wishing you a H&H 9 months!
Ferrals: Oooooo, fingers crossed for implantation!
Alice: Good luck on your training course!
AFM: Well, I'm an idiot, lol. I tested this morning (10 DPO), and of course - BFN. I still have crazy symptoms, boobs aching and now my armpits are throbbing. I think it's just my body reacting to the progesterone, it should ease off the next few days, AF due 14 DPO'ish (who freaking knows really, not me!). I'm upset about it, not about the BFN (ok, little bit) but that the last time I remember feeling this way I was definitely pregnant, and now I'm not. It seems cruel. I guess all I can do is wait it out. Fingers crossed for next month and a christmas baby!
Anita: We must have posted at the same time! Good luck kid wrangling :) Fingers crossed for you too!
hubbabubba I hope and pray that your levels rise over the next few days XX Big huggs to you, take it easy and be sure to let us know how things go XXXXX Stickyvibes !!!!
Minimatron things seem to be looking so great your way!! Well done.
Ferrals, love, think happy happy thaughts!! I hope it is a sign for implantation for you!!
My days have been happier ones over the weekend, days seem to be going a little quicker for the moment, just hoping I don't have a long cycle this month!
Crafty, give your heart time to digest what is happening, don't blame yourself for feeling the way you do babe, I know you can feel like you are standing in a crowded room screaming but nobody is hearing you. It hurts to feel like that. But we here you. And we understand. Crafty, just let your screams out here, so yes, you can put on a brave face at home, but the brave face will soon turn to a strong happy one, just allow yourself some time XXXX
TTCALC, dunno how you do it!!!! Probablly because I don't have children yet, and my house and brain is not child proof yet, but I had a friend come over yesterday with her 2 and 4 yr old girls. Was only here for half hour and I was a headcase!!!!! Seriouse!! When she left, DH and I looked at eachother with exhausted smiles and I said "is she trying to put me off having kids or what!!!!" DH laughed....as he was cleaning up the destruction in our backyard!
KitF, fingers crossed for you!!! XXXXX :crossfingers:
Snugglybean, I hope you are ok Darling XXXXX Thinking of you XXXXX
SPF< thinking of you too XXXXX
Sunbeam, I am sad, but glad to hear that you did actually have a pregnancy. The IUI's must be definately working, so that is a start, I hope your testing if able to do the tests, come back fine. And if there is a problem, it is easily fixed XXX
SOmetimes it is easier to know a problem if there is one, so it can be rectified, me having no diagnosis, I feel we are still flying blind...........
Jahzara, I hope you aren't getting a bug XXX And I also hope you had a late implanter!! Stay positive honey XX I know it's hard X
Alice, have a nice week away, can't wait to see your avy!!XX
Matthew'sMum, there's a few of us girls here that have gone through or are going through IVF, ask any questions you need to XX And best wishes for a happy, successfull first try!!!XXX
Sorry I missed some people, hope everyone is well and ready for another week XXX
AFM, think I am in TWW now, not sure if I got BD timing right though, I will be glad to see or not to see AF this month!!!XXX Either way for me which makes it a little interesting!
Heya - just wanted to pop in and say hello.
Crafty - be gentle on yourself sweet one and you are not being selfish! Not in the slightest. Believe you can be strong, because belief is everything.
Sunbeam - hey that's good news in amongst the sad news. No lap and not ectopic! How are you going otherwise?
Hubba - wow - bet you were shocked. Hope those levels rise.
Murraycod - go fro you for giving it a try. Hope it works out. I think you get used to having chaos around you, but it's almost a gradual build up from bubs onwards? But when you just get landed with chaos, it's a lot different because you have no chance to adapt?
Ferrals - sorry to hear that you are all mixed up at the moment symptom wise.
TCCALC - Good work you. Always such an inspiration.
Mathew's Mum - glad to hear you're travelling a bit better.
Kit - your symptoms sound all over the place too!
SPF - thinking of you and sending lots of CAT cuddles. Give my love to Amy cat.
Jahz - enjoy AccaDacca. Hope your symptoms are not you coming down with something.
Mo4 how are you doing? I have been thinking about you.
AFM - I am in grieving mode, today 21 Feb is the day the contractions started which resulted in my precious Amelia being born 2 days later on 23 Feb. I have been focused so much on 23rd Feb I forgot about the events leading up to it. It's a bit sobering. Whilst Amelia's birth was the most amazing and life changing moment, both joyous and heartbreaking, it's sad to think that this time last year, was the beginning of the inconceivable. Take care girls, I will be going gently with myself.
On another note, I am enjoying not working. I am resting up and slowly starting to feel better.
Hello lovlies,
Hubba- Huge :crossfingers: for increasing bt numbers.
TTCALC and Kitfaerie- I really hope your symptoms are totally a good sign of pg.:goodluck:
Crafty- :comfort: so sorry you are having a rough time just think how wonderful it will be to have a your own bub and a grandchild together. Don't give up hope it can still happen.
Dory- I can't imagine what you are going through, good to see you are taking it easy on yourself :comfort:
:pink-babydust: to those in the TWW.
AFM-just kicking back nothing to do but wait for AF to rock up. Love my new avvy. The boobs are just right, shame I'm not really a size 10 like my avvy .
sunbeam - I love your avy too! Hope AF rolls up quickly and isn't too hard on you. When do you think she might arrive?
Good morning,
Dory - It took Af 6 1/2 weeks to show up after my last D&C so who knows, a while I'd guess!
Bit tough being back at work today after last week.
Have a good monday.
Sunbeam - geez work would just be so surreal for you today. Go gently.
I second that Dory, look after yourself Sunbeam! (Loving the avvy by the way)
I have a question, I'm on DPO 11, still having symptoms, the same one's I had when I got my first BFP, so SURELY if I was preg it would show up on a test (tested yesterday and got BFN), considering symptoms are strong? There's gotta be a direct relationship between HCG and symptom strength right? Vaguely planning on testing again on Thursday...
I enjoy the first two weeks of the TTC month soooo much more than the last two.
Kit - this TCC can be so illogical. I tested like crazy and got BFN's up until 14DPO, even though O was earlier than day 14. It was only after 14DPO that a got a faint BFP. Keep your head up and if you can wait at least a day or two before testing again. Glad you have some symptoms and I have my FINGERS and legs crossed for you! Now I can't wait til you post again....... oh I am really just so excited, I can't contain myself.
hi girls. sorry it's been a while since i checked in.
i went back to the doc asking if i needed the anti d injection and he said yes but that i needed to go to the hospital to get it. so off to the hospital i went and they had to check me over first and an ultrasound found i have bleeding in my stomach which wasn't supposed to be there! they said it's just from a cyst that erupted cause of pregnancy and that i'll be ok. but was a bit scary!
i have stopping bleeding completely now but still feeling tender in the tummy a bit. question - my partner and i are going to start trying again straight away. i dont know if AF will arrive soon or whether the bleeding from the m/c is classified as AF. do i take my LMP from the first day of my m/c bleeding on the off chance i do conceive this month? sorry for the silly questions, i'm new to all this and have never taken notice of when i O so not sure what to expect this month.
thanks!
TFN3- Sorry to hear you had a scary time with bleeding. After my natural m/c it was 5 weeks till my AF returned. I don't think you can go from when you bleed but from when your Hcg returns to zero depending on how far along you were. You will likely O before your next AF and it is possible to conceive then but it is tricky to time it after a m/c using O predictor tests can help though you might go through a few.
KitFaerie- I had very strong symptoms last time and my hcg was really quite low (only 19 to start with) :crossfingers: hope you're headed for a BFP in a few days.
thanks for that sunbeam. my hcg levels had dropped to 20 on friday so should be pretty much at 0 now. guess i'll just see how the month goes. we BP most days so wont worry about O kit yet, just see if nature takes it course. when we were trying in january i spend so much time worrying about if I was Oing, this time I think i'll try not to worry bout that and take each day as it comes. thanks for your advice!
Kitfaerie-i wish i could help but to be honest my symptoms leading up to my AF confuse me sometimes i think i am pregnant with cramping and pulling sensations in my lower area and reallllllllly sore boobs and being very tired but AF turns up and then when i am pregnant i have had no symptom nadda nothing and even swear im not so my body is a mystery to me i wish i got M/S then i would know for sure but i will say don't read to much into the BFN just yet with my 5 pregnancies before abbi i got a BFP at 10DPO and with abbi BFN's up until the day AF was due so you still have a few days i will have my fingers crossed for you.
Trying4number3-i think it is usual to class m/c bleeding as LMP as it is possible to ov 2 weeks after a m/c as many women fall pregnant straight away and don't get AF so the doc's will take LMP from your M/C date.
Sunbeam-take it easy on yourself at work.
Crafty-how are you today i hope you are feeling better.
Murrycod-i rang the westmead fertility clinic today to get there info pack and prices just in case we don't fall pregnant by May they are a public ivf clinic and the cost is half that of SIVF they don't do PGD IVF but we have decided to speed up the process of getting pregnant and will see them if i am not pregnant soon i dont want to do ivf again but with our genetic testing dramas i am starting to hear that stupid clock tick again.
AFM-still have a slight headache and feeling funny inside down low and feeling really tired maybe because i have been working late nights.
Here is i paragraph i found on a pregnancy site
Our data on September 4, 2008 shows that headaches are most common on 9 days past ovulation with 15.5% of pregnant women experiencing this symptom. Our data also shows that headaches is one of the top ten most common early signs of pregnancy
Hey Ladies...
This section is the only one i usualy post on i feel more comfortable posting herethen anywhere else on here... i feel like i should be posting in other places as well..
Sunbeam..... Thanks sweetie... and wouldn't it be awesome for us to :)

Dory...... Thanks sweetie... your in my thought and prayers! BUG HUGS~~~
Murraycod..... I get that asked alot " how do i do it" i sometimes wonder to i guess its just that motherly touch idk..lol thanks sweetie..
smiling @ you looking at your hubby and saying that... DF would be the one to say that to me...lol
Kitfarie... How you feeling??
Best of luck to all!!!
Well then, bring on the headaches hey!!!!:wall: Ouch!!! That should do it!!!!:D
Ferrals, stats are sounding good to me now!!!!!
Your plans on looking at Westmead seem to be very interesting, let me know how it all reads; I am hoping you get your little miracle before then, also undersanding you want to push things on a little. Would your chances having genetic problems be the same as a natural conception...I guess they would be hey, but TBH, as much as the worry can be such a huge factor in things, getting to that stage to even have a chance to worry is the goal.
I fully understand and support where you are heading by May, totally.
Will be right next to you for the ride no matter what you need to do to get there, so have faith, have strength, and go for it XXXXX
Getting to hatching blasty like you had to last time is such a HUGE gamble in itself, I know, out of soooo many eggs you retreive, then have fertilise, they still have to grow then hatch!
As far as I went, having 9 eggs, 6 fertilise and only 2 get to grade two Blasty for us, not even hatching blasts, was completely out of anyones controll and the most frustrating part.
I remember like it was yesterday, reading your journey in the PGD IVF forum how much you had invested not only dollar wise but emotionally was heartbreaking for me to read.(sorry I stalked you!!!)
So I say, if you have a chance to try anything, just go for it.
We all lose or gain nothing, if we never try.
Sunbeam, when I wen't back to work after finding out my 1st IVF was unsuccessfull, was just as heartbreaking for me, as when I had to return to work after MC.
My poor DH had to drag my ass out of the house to get me there, so good on you for having the strength within yourself to do it XXXXX
Is hard as it does seem at the time, (and it is) the earlier you get back is easier.
Take care of yourself, enjoy the yoge and health kick, hope it makes you feel better within yourself honey XX Have been thinking of you XXXX
You soooo asked for porn boobs didn't you!!!! Lookin good!
KitF, beleive me when I say, if there is anything to 'Google' on symptoms, lack there of, BFN at 10, 11,12,13,14po, getting bfp after getting bfn, I have exhausted it, and only come up with one thing, it is all a total load of cobbswobble, your body is totally different and not normal to everyone elses out there, and we are freaks of nature!!!!
;) in other words, we never really know for sure what is going on in there untill the fat lady sings, or doesnt.
Sorry not much help!!:D
Dory, thanks for the PM, I will be thinking of you tomorrow Darling XXX Huggs to you XXX
Crafty, hope you are ok XX
AFM, not even going to comment on my work day, have decided to no longer give it any more thaught as of......................now!:backtotopic:
So anyway, just wondering if anyone had the AF Fairies phone number, thaught I might give her a ring and tell her to hurry up, give her directions and all that sort of stuff, you know, to like, get a quick passing visit....
Have a good night all!XX
murraycod I was told AF like's white undies and white pants and for you to be out shopping or at a dinner party with nothing to clean her up with.
Dory thinking of you today :grouphug:
Murrycod-yes doing normal ivf will give us the same chance as normal conception a 1 in 4 of the baby being effected but to be honest at the moment i just want to get pregnant that part will be a relief to know i am still fertile and i know i have been told by my FS that i am and she expects me to be pregnant soon blah blah blah but when the clock is ticking i need to hurry the process to get this freaking genetic test done and then relax so ivf will help that but SIVF is around $8000 per cycle so i looked into the public system and westmead ivf are about $3000-$4000 with no theartre fees but there is a waiting list so i thought i would look into it but i did really like SIVF they were great i just can not justify that amount of money when the same treatment is a lot cheaper elsewhere i am hopeing that i get my miracle before then.
And i know the process is a huge gamble we had 8 eggs as you know we ended up with 3 blasts one was a grade 2 tested and effected the other 2 were a grade 3 fine for ivf but not for the PGD testing so technicaly i got 3 out of 8 which is a good result for a 35 year old and our fertilisation result of 100% is great so i do have a little hope that i wont need ivf as my eggs are still hanging in there it is frustrating isnt it.
and stalk away i have done my fair share of stalking and will be again when harvey 2 makes his appearence soon.
Morning to all you BB ladies i would say by it being so quiet in here there is a lot of waiting going on.
AFM- so now i'm doing the whole I'M NOT PREGNANT WE ARE DUD'S THING i just know i am not pregnant this month.
I have my naturopath appt with catherine chan on monday so looking forward to that hope she looks into my eyes and say's you are pregnant and dont need to be here that would be soooooo nice.
hello everyone, dory-special hugs to you & your your little princess Amelia....ferrals-good luck for Monday, hope the waiting list at westmead isn't to long or even better you don't need it...Murraycod-hope af behaves herself or even better you've fallen on the clomid...trying for number3-good luck...afm-af has arrived cycle day 32,start the pill on saturday, last time i was on the pill was nearly 20 years ago,i fall pregnant with my eldest dd while i was taking the pill ,hopefully that is a good sign for us.
Morning all
Ferrals fingers still crossed for you but as you know we have to protect ourselves from getting too upset when we see a BFN so we play it in our mind the week before to get used to the idea ( Doesn't mean you will get a BFN you are still 50/50 either way ) so bring on the BFP I say and try to relax !
Murraycod there is chance of a miracle as you know so keep beleiveing and hope you get some news either way soon !
sunbeam glad your taking the positive approach it will win in the end if you beleive in yourself then you will get you BFP to stick real soon ! take it easy and enjoy your time off for a few weeks, Hope AF isn't too long away !
AFM Well were do I start, well emotionally I am a wreck but hey I am a 44yr old trying to get pregnant and that in itself is not the norm, anyways still can't think too much about my son as it doesn't feel real to me atm but as they are in the UK I guess its not really going to sink in at all with not seeing them every week but I am happy for them don't get me wrong I hope they never have to go through what I have and feel like I do, as you all know its not easy being in this thread !
Anyways Drs apt was yesterday evening and well the sccan was good no abnormalities good shape uterus and 8mm lining no cycts on the ovaries and a 11mm folicle in the right ovary ! last week thursday ( day 16 for me ). The bloods all the stuff came back as normal ie thyroid and iron and so on BUT THE HORMONES ! well they were not so good, they said perimenapause ! my estrogen was 147 on day 14 and should have been higher a lot higher and my LH was 17 which he said is ok but to be honest he is a GP and not a FS so he was just reading what the lab had told him, anyways he gently said I am starting the menapause and could take a few years still as not full menapause until you go a full year of no AF, so he said basically very little chance of falling pg but if I got a good ovulation and a good egg then it was still possible but unlikely WTF its either no chance or a small chance right ! so I have a number for a FS but to be honest if I need drugs and so on to get me to ovulate then there is no gaurantee the egg will be anygood anyways so I think I will give it another 3 mnths and gradually get used to the idea that its not going to happen for me !
So like I said miracles do happen and I do beleive in them so I may still get one !
thanks for listening you are a great bunch ! I  I get over this without too many tears !
Hello ladies,
Murrycod- Yes, yesterday was hard back at work, it was just sad to be 'not pregnant', you don't realise at the time how much of your thought it takes up and how you do so many things differently to protect your baby, then all of a sudden you don't have a baby to think of and it feels kind of lonely. Today is feeling a bit easier.
We started the health kick well with a nice walk along the water last night and a healthy dinner.
Yes I did tell Sarah that i am quite proud of my E cup boobs . I also told her I'm a size 16 but that she could make me a little skinnier if she wanted, well hell that's the only time I'm ever going to be a size 8!!! I added some photos to my profile so you can see what I really look like.
If I hear from AF i'll tell her you're looking for her.
Ferrals- Would it help to do IUI instead of IVF? Its heaps cheaper, makes each cycle shorter and you know exactly what's going on when. Might just up your odds with out so much invasive stuff. Just an idea. Hope the headache is a good sign and a BFP is on the way and no need for any more intervention.
Matthew'smum- Yay for starting the pill and getting on the IVF train, good luck.:goodluck:
KITF- any more news? Fingers crossed for you.
Dory - thinking of you babe big hugs :comfort:
Crafty - sorry I missed your post we must have been writing at the same time. I am so sorry then news is not the best. If hormone levels are the issue then I'd see the FS because these can be uped fairly easily. Also he's not an expert as you said and we all know that hormone levels can vary very widely between women and between cylces. Yes you are right you are working with older eggs but women your age have babies quite regularly, only 5 months ago your eggs were still good enough. Please don't give up hope until you've got more information. :comfort:
craftymummy-thinking of you, your definitely still in there with a chance, ring fs asap, being a new patient you might of a bit of a wait to get in,worth seeing what he /she has got to say.Clomid is only a small tablet taken 5 days of your cycle...sunbeam-glad today is a bit better for you.Like your avi................Thanks everyone for your support with ivf,it means a lot,not much of it going around in real life,i don't think people understand why i want to do it when i already have living children...
hey lovely ladies,
I dont know if i should be posting in here still or not as i dont want to upset anyone..my gp called me last nigght and said my levels were now at 96!!!! im still not confident although DH made me poas sunday night just so he could see the lines appear himself lol...such a wally he is....if its ok ,i will lurk here longer as im still doubtful even though i know its BFP..... got a date scan tonight which is scaring the hell out of me as it was 2days after my last scan that i miscarried....but not having a period since xmas makes it so bloody ahrd for them to know whre i am at lol.....
This forum has been the best place that i could be these last 9 months, i know lose is something we live with day to day but u girls are just so kind and considerate even though enduring ur own pain.Had it not been for you girls, even though i wasnt always actively posting, i dont think i would have got through my rough days..It was a must for me to check my inbox every day and remind myself that i wastn alone and that perfectly normal people were going through the same feelings and understood where i was at...not that we would ever wish this feeling on our worst enemies..but you get what i mean..I am sending you all the stickiest of baby dust,as i have learnt brilliant things come to those who wait,, but i think all of our waiting should end and we can all end up on same due date forums...what u all reckon???
hubbabubba-good luck with scan,be watching for your update, paml will always be scary i think, we sadly know 1st hand how sad things can turn out, keep in mind though there are lots of paml success stories, hopefully we'll all be able to join you soon..
Hubba- glad the Hcg is still rising. You can keep posting here as long as you like. I just wanted to say good luck with the scan but also don't be worried if there is not much to see. Scans are usually only useful when your Hcg has reached 1500 or more. Let us know how you go
Hubbabubba you are welcome to post and lurk in here as much as you need to XX
I know that if I am lucky enough to get a positive beta, I will have an awfull lot of trouble not talking to all of my friends here as much as I do now.
Crafty, no, not the best of news you could have gotten, but atleast you know what is now going on, and are able to get more help to push things on a little if you do decide to XXXXX
You are not having a good week. At all. Darling, Big Fat Juicy Hugg and kiss comming your way XXXOOO
I have always said, as hard as it is, we would all rather know the bad news of what is going on down there, so we can attampt to tackle it head on. Better than not knowing, and having it bite us in the butt when we are at our most vulnerable.
Miracles do happen, we have to hold on to that.
Ferrals....You..are..NOT..a..dud......;) you are a goose though!:D Have a great appt with C Chan on Monday XXXX
I had to stop all of my supplements that my natropath gave me while doing this IVF stuff, only take Elivate now X
TTCALC, I often lurk around other threads, don't feel like you don't belong in the others just because you have made such good friends here. I always throw in a comment here and there in other forums, all of the girls are friendly, and like to make new friends too.
Dory, thinking of you hun XXXXX
Mildez, :D I'm not game enough to do that!!
HubbaBubba: It's always good to hear good news, personally, your journey gives me hope, so please keep posting!
Crafty: I'm sorry the news wasn't brilliant, but there's always a chance! Now you know what your dealing with and you can work out how to best approach it so to give it the best chance possible to work out in your favour, knowledge is ammunition!
Ferrals: Your not a dud! You have some killer DNA in there any by god your going to pass it on! Let me know how your appt goes.
MatthewsMum: Only you know if your family isn't finished, we're right behind you every step of the way.
Sunbeam: I know what you mean, I'd gotten used to doing so many things when I was pregnant - taking all the right tablets, avoiding all the wrong foods. I threw my folate pills across the room the day after the d&c. It actually made me feel better, lol. Of course I had to start taking them again cos I was still TTC  but that wasn't the point!
MurrayCod: I will gladly give you my AF! She's not too much trouble, I trust you'll give her a good home.
TTCALC: I feel a bit weird posting in other forums too, lol, but everyone has been lovely.
AFM: Haven't tested again yet. Getting some cramping, which could go either way, boobs are sore on and off, I think it was just progesterone related, cos it's fading as I get closer to AF. DH is oddly hopeful, I think we'll be disappointed :(
Thanks girls for thinking of me !
I have sent an email to the clinic the Dr reffered me too and they replied within an hour so that was prity impressive to say the least, I am not able to phone at the moment as I am a bit fragile you know ( tearful when trying to talk about this ) so I emailed them told them my age and what the bloods said and about my mc 6 mnths ago and they said they can definately help. Do tests to see my egg reserves and also test DH ! well some of you may know that 20yrs ago they diagnosed him as being almost a JAFFA ( seedless orange ) he has produced 7 kids since then so well he is up for the test and will do whatever it takes to make sure we get one more BFP so girls I AM NOT GIVING UP NOT WITHOUT A FIGHT ! SO that out of my system I just have to wait to see when they can fit us in for an initial consultation !
Hubba great news on you hcg please stick around and let us know how your doing the other girls pop in now and then too,
SPFairy how you doing ! Dory thinking of you today ! Eliselouise how you doing honey ! and everyne else who got a luck BFP we are following you soon real sooooon !
;) Think the old crafty is comming back !
Crafty- Good on you, that's the spirit girl, welcome back Crafty . The clinic do sound impressive responding so quickly lets hope they can get you UTD just as fast.
Kit F- hope your DH is right and rotten old AF stays well away.
AFM- I've made it through another day. Going for our walk again tonight, then yum (healthy) dinner and going to see Valentines Day at the movies, not sure I'll be able to resist the popcorn but think i deserve some.;)
Hi everyone :hello: - just wanted to drop by and let you know I have been thinking of you all! Hoping to be able to join you all again very soon with the TTC journey! Eagerly awaiting AF's arrival! My Chinese doc said that if its a normal period we can get back in to it!! I'm praying that it is! Expecting it any moment now! Hurry up!:crossfingers:
I'm a long way behind on everything thing thats happened over the last few weeks, didn't realise i had been away so long! Im sorry for anyone that has had a tough few weeks... i hope the road smooths out a little for you soon!
Those with good news... well congrats! Hope your feeling well, hang in there and stay positive!
Those that are just plodding along, watching the clock, the calendar, the ticker - be patient. I hear that good things come to those that wait - and I'm trying to believe it!
xx
t-hopes not long now then, the past month didn't seem to last too long. i hope this time af is kind to you and you can get back ttc as soon as she has gone.
Sunbeam well done you, for getting on a health kick. i think you deserve pop-corn, it can't be that bad for you can it? and if it is you could just do more exercise tomorrow.... hope you are ok, i have been following your story.
craftymummy9 doctors don't seem to know much about some things, and do only read what the lab writes. so it is better for you to see a fertility specialist. and i know what you mean about being tearful, i was all emotional at work again today. but at least they got back to you quickly, so that sounds like they are pretty efficient.
KitFaerie good luck if you decide to test again. when is af due? i had no idea i was pg this time, so you are always in with a chance.
hubba_bubba07 great news! when do you have your scan booked for as it will be a while before they can see anything on ultrasound if your hcg is 96. sounds like it's doubling like it should though. i know how scary it is being paml. i got my hcg done 3 times to check it was rising and still didn't believe it.
Matthew's Mum good luck this with this ivf cycle.
ferrals4 at least you timed bd right with your new fertility monitor. don't give up hope, you can still be pregnant and not have any symptoms, although the headaches could be a good sign!
TTCALoveChild i feel most comfortable in here too, it's hard to stop checking in here daily. good luck for when you test! not too long to go now.
tryingfornumber3 sorry for you loss, you can catch the egg before you get af, but it is better for dating to have one af after a m/c, but it's up to you whatever you feel comfortable doing.
afm, just a bit of an update, i had my scan today and i think it went well. bub was measuring 5w5d so puts me back a little to edd of 21/10, but my cycles were longer than average so i think that is ok, and heart rate was 132. thanks for asking about me i do keep popping in, hoping to see some good news from you all.
SPF - that is awesome. Well done.
Sunbeam - is that a cat curled up in the corner of your avvy?
Murray - good to see the avvy. Sorry if I am a bit slow.
Just a quick post from me ( sorry I am cutting and pasting a bit here because i wanted to tell you about my day). I am thinking of you, and hopefully will be feeling more talkative soon. Still pg and no more scares. 10 weeks tomorrow.
It does feel like I will never get there, underneath all the bravado, that it my abiding fear. I am for the most part really thankful for each day of this pg.
FM - well today was my darling Amelia's first anniversary. 23 Feb 2009; 14:28; 455grams; 27 cms; 21 weeks on the cusp of 22 weeks gest, our brown haired girl. I can't and don't think of it as her birthday. That just doesn't work for me.
Today, wasn't as hard as I thought it might be. I was more affected leading up to today than on today. DH took the day off work and I am not working( one week as of today!), so we slept in and snuggled ( no BD for me, way too scared) and then went for brunch and then a walk in the park and along the river. In the arvo we snuggled again, looked through our photos, shared some precious memories and listened to the songs we had played for the funeral service. In the end as sad as I am, the most significant memory for me today is just how much our precious girl was loved and how much she gave to us in those fleeting joyous but heartbreaking moments. I am so blessed to have been given such a precious gift. So today? DH and I honoured our baby girl by living, and remembering her. I had day reams of doing something more symbolic, but in the end, for me, it felt contrived.
Take care.
