Hi girls,
Can I join in - we aren't TTC just yet as still waiting for my hcg levels come back down as i m/c naturally but my dr said to keep testing weekly until I stop getting a positive and than start TTC after that, so I thought instead of being a lurker I'll jump straight in and start getting to know all of you wonderful girls
-
Hey all,
Do any of you know? I found out i lost my lil one when i thought i was 19 weeks but he passed away bout 2 weeks earlier. I was induced and gave birth.
Would m body be the same after full term labour or as a m/c i mean in getting back to normal?
-
Ms K - I am not sure. Depends on what sort of things you're wondering about?
I have had two m/c at about 20 weeks, and I O'ed within 14-21 days of each, but continued to bleed for a while. For one it worked out to be for about 2 months of bleeding all up. Not heavy bleeding the whole time, but light to spotting. Even though I haven't discussed the details with my ob, for me he told me my milk was likely to come in, and that in other respects ( at least for me) my body had given birth, so would be affected by post partum issues - weak pelvic floor, mood swings, the blues, after pains, fatigue. It certainly didn't take me too long after the first m/c at 21 weeks to get back into my beloved running and sport and my body went back to normal in terms of physical appearance very quickly ( no baby belly sag). Not so much with the second at 19 weeks, but that was a twin pregnancy where I m/c one of the twins at 14 weeks and then carried the second twin until 19 weeks. So I spent a lot more time doing very little trying to preserve the pregnancy. But I am not sure if it's the same for everyone. Hope you find the answers you were looking for.
Iona Macca - welcome, sorry you have to be here. Hope those levels come down quick smart. taking a HPT is a quick way to test those levels, and more convenient that blood tests.
Em - similarly welcome. What of thread have you been posting on? I would like to understand a bit about where you've been to get here, and don't want to ask you to have to repeat it.
Hi to everyone else,I miss talking to you more reguarly than I have been lately. But it's been 3 or 4 days since I logged on. Have been a little self absorbed. I am feeling a bit drained today, so not much energy to respond to everyone but know I am thinking of you and just hoping for a BFP for you.
I am going ok, but my invincibility bubble burst again last night with another scare, not totally burst, but enough of a reminder of the precariousness of the journey I am on. Nothing like another good scare to remind me how much I want this and how scared I am. But that's just how it is at the mo for me. I hope that soon enough you are each going through your own version of this challenging journey. Lots of babydust to you......
-
thanks Alice
Dory the link to my thread is here
-
Thanks Dory,
I want to try again as soon as i can. Im just unsure as to when i can. As after given birth normally i guess its ok after the 6 weeks have past. Just wasnt sure when this happens :( but as i was induced into labour i thought maybe it might be the same as full term.
-
 for you MissK hope you find an answer soon, did you ask your Doctor? cos they may be able to tell you. But from my guess it's as soon as you stop bleeding and as soon as your ready.
-
thanks em.
Yeah, se said its best to wait at least one full cycle. and than she said a few.
I wasnt sure if she was talking physically or emotionally.
Will ask again at my next visit.
I want to try now. :(
-
big  missK I know what you mean.
-
Can you all give me your opinion please? no matter what it is!
I had an xray done on my teeth about 6 weeks ago now. They put that jacket thing on me.
At the ultra sound bubs heart stopped that same week and by the weeks and days that they say its the exact same day that i had the xray.
I stopped having morning sickness 2 - 3 weeks before the xray after the xray i got it back. Next day i think it was.
I honestly believe that bubs heart stopped because of me and it hurts. I dont want it to be true but its the only explanation and it all seems to be fitting in and everyones telling me that its not the reason.
The doctor that looked after me at the hospital said its definatly not the reason but its just it all fits in and its crap. If i didnt go the dentist maybe this wouldnt of happened?!
What do you think? I need honest answers its going around and around in my head and i just need the truth. I need an answer.
-
MissK: There was NOTHING you could have done to prevent it, that's the best and the worst thing about it. That dentist x-ray machine is extremely localised, and even if they pointed it straight at bubs it would take about 2 weeks of x-rays to make even a little bit of difference. I'm so so sorry that you lost your baby, but it wasn't your fault. You were looking after yourself by going to the dentist, it was a good decision. It's just a really crappy coincidence, in a really crappy heartbreaking situation. I'm sorry xoxo
Em: I was told there was no medical reason to even wait for AF before trying again, but plenty of emotional ones. I chose to wait one cycle, just cos I didn't wanna lose my mind wondering if AF was taking so long to arrive cos of the m/c or cos I was pregnant.
Dory: I'm with you, had a massive crying in the shower session. I hadn't really thought about it, but I had a chemical m/c in Jan 09 (wasn't trying - honeymoon baby, and some laziness with taking the pill), so it just hit me that I've lost 2 babies. I dont want a new baby, I want the ones I had alive and well. But I want this so much too, so I'll keep trying.
Iona Macca: Sorry for what brought you here, but hopefully you'll find some support, welcome :)
AFM: Not so good, CD30 no AF, but still BFN. I think this is just a long cycle. I just feel like time is slipping away.
-
MissK: don't go beating yourself cos no matter what it won't change the outcome. But i'm sure it wasn't due to the x-ray and like KitFaerie said just a crappy coincidence. I know how easy it is to beat yourself up though, cos my dates of when bubs passed was when I hurt my back at work- and now I can't bring myself to go back to work. I think start trying as soon as you feel ready because our bodies will know what to do.
KitFaerie:  I hate that time slipping away feeling it's so painful!
-
Miss K - I don't believe your visit to the dentist had anything to do with the loss of your beloved baby. When I lost my first baby it was on a holiday in Canada. I blamed myself for taking the trip and despite every doctor assuring me it would have had no adverse effect on the pregnancy I still blamed myself. In the two subsequent pregnancies I did all that I could to make sure I was completely healthy and nothing I took or ate would cause any problems and yet I lost those babies too. I hope you can stop thinking so badly of yourself because you were obviously a loving, caring Mum to your little baby and you are not responsible for the loss.

Hey Girls.. Im doing little better today Kept my self busy..
BUT my AF was only for 2 days.. I have never had a AF that short.. my first cylce after my m/c was 5 days and this one is 2 days.. So i think im just adjusting back to my normal cycles even though i do have irregular af, but not 2 days..
So im back to the ticker to see what my chaces are next month :) maybe ill conceive on St Patty's Day =]

Anyhow Ill do personals tomorrow.. About to shower and relax for the nite
Best of luck to you all TTW and TTC
Anita

Just popping my head in to say Miss K - definitely not your fault! Apparently you get as much radiation from a few minutes in the sun as you do from one of those x-rays. Don't beat yourself up - give yourself a pat ont he back for looking after your teeth while pregnant - not enough people do. I'm very very sorry for your loss. I'm a big advocate of the wait before TTC again. I had a forced 6 month wait - I'm not suggesting that long though! - and it was a really good time for us as a couple.
I reckon don't try, don't be cautious. That baby will be there when it's ready.
Kit - how good is crying in the shower? OK, so crying's sorta not good, but the shower's a good place for it. I cried on the bus when I got my last AF, and had no hankies or anything, I was a mess! But I broke out of it when the bus driver locked it up to avoid a koala crossing the road with a baby on its back.
Plucking your eyebrows is a great way to snap out of it if you're having a hysterical cry and you want to stop. (I've always been a crier. It doesn't take much)
How are all you other ladies going? Sorry I'm not round much. I lurk. Thinking of all of you lots of the time.

Hello Everyone,
Hope everyone is going fine and enjoying their weekend.
Welcome to new members who have joined the thread in recent days, Sorry that you are here and trying to cope with the losses and suffering, but here the girls are just amazing and its like a small family sharing the same sorrow and trying to acheieve the same goal of embracing the motherhood. I wish all of you a very best and hope your TTC journey is short and sweet.
And to all my friends here, MurrayCod, Anita, CraftyMummy, T Hope, Sparkles, Snugglybean, Matthew's Mum, Ferrals, Loppy louise, SPF, Sunbeam...how are you feeling all?? Anita - Sorry that AF knocked at your door, but what can we say and do..well be ready for next cycle, pull your socks and be prepared and good luck this month.
I think this month is sicky month for us.. first it was me and now DH, suffering from cold, cough and fever (i am blaming everychanging weather of Mel)...but i am so mean machine that i told him to do BD on imp dates... and he said "you must be joking right"...poor hubby...
thats why i am away, i am praying that his health gets back to normal. So i dont know about this month.
I will try to do the detailed post again.
Ferrals - thanks alot for sending me the Montage, once again...its very heart touching. when are you testing? all the best.

Craftymummy - Goodluck to you too for testing.
Murraycod - How are you? i am too demotivated, lazy and tired. i think its a phase we are in.
Hi to everyone else.
Take care,
Ric

-
Just a quick message to say I lost my 4th baby on Friday.... Obviously very devastated and have a lot of questions to ask. I can seem to carry past 6 weeks.... why?? I've had a lot of tests done and all come back normal. Is it my job? (involves heavy lifting, bending over, pushing and pulling trolleys) Are my hormones out of whack? Is my weight affecting my chances of carrying sucessfully? Should I be doing agility with my dogs? So many questions.... these are just the start. This one felt right from the start... extremely cranky, fatigued, irritated and sore boobs, stronger sense of smell..... only thing I didnt have was morning sickness.
I'm just thankful (as bad as it was) it happened Friday as I was away from home and hubby on the weekend. Hubby has been great but it hurts me so much to see him upset telling our mums and to hear him say he had a cry when I was not around.... he would be a great dad. I was meant to go back to work today.... I turned up but I couldnt do it, I saw one of my work mates and burst into tears.

Loopy -
Ferrals -
Snugg -
Hi to the Newbies - so sorry for your losses  You have come to a great place.
BBL Ladies
xoxo
-
Ohhhh, louie  I'm so sorry to hear that. Can your doctor tell you anything? After 4 losses, I'm pretty sure it stops being "just one of those things" and there's more you can find out if you push for it. And we all want you to push.
Ferrals - bummed. I would love to call in on you for a cuppa and a big hug, but it's to too far.
Raining big ones here. I've got the day off. Going shopping in town - yahoo! We went out to a gig last night, it was such a beautiful night, with wonderful friends, I had a great time and it helped me to love my life again. I found myself thinking "I would have missed this." I know it wouldn't measure up to having a baby, but thinking that way is helping me along a lot.
CD10 - ready to get busy!
-
Looppylouie :grouphug: I am so so sorry this keeps happening.
I have been lurking but not posting. My heart breaks for all of you when I read that things aren't going as well as they should ie AF etc. Me I am a few days post O trying to not think about it. DH pulled the pin on our IVF plans so boohoo for me. I just hope it pays off and we are not heading down that road in another year or two because we are still not pregnant. He reckons we are too young but I know he is stingy and doesn't want to pay the money and not be guaranteed of a baby. It sucks as I was the one paying for it anyway. Oh well. There is no reason I can't get pregnant even with my one bodgy tube just trying to take comfort in that.
-
MissK - oh sweetie. I am so sorry that you lost your precious bubs and even more so that you have carried such a heavy burden of guilt for so long.
What happened is just a sad and heartbreaking coincidence. I think all of us who walk the path of loss have those thoughts and feelings of guilt, and "if only I" did or didn't do something. I for one have a bucketload, but thankfully, I was able to resolve any residual grief I felt, and in some cases I now make different decisions about some things and about others, I haven't changed what I do.
Each woman during a pg makes her own assessments of what risks we can and can't take and for each woman, the identified risks and conclusions will be different. For a woman who has a loss this task becomes even more overwhelming. I was, by comparison to now, much more blase in my first pg than the subsequent ones. Like someone said though, all the care I took in each subsequent pg didn't alter the outcome. It's almost tempting just to throw caution out the window and be wild and reckless -at least that would be a lot of fun, but that's not me. I couldn't live with myself if I did that.
But, ultimately, you are the one that has to resolve those feelings for yourself and work out what is right for you. We can all give you advice, but you have to do the hard work of sorting through how you feel. Hopefully the advice you receive helps you with that.
I honestly refuse to believe that for most women that we and our pg are so fragile that it can be interrupted by daily life activities. It's just a heartbreaking tragedy that some of us experience loss of our precious pg.
I waited at least a cycle before getting back into TCC after the first 2 m/c, but a lot longer after that. You will know what's right for you. I knew I was up for TCC when I was actually really excited about the prospect, rather than only totally fearful.
Loopie - oh my sweet blossom. I am so so sorry to hear of your most recent loss. It doesn't get any easier the more you have huh? it hurts just as much if not more, the only thing that perhaps is different is that you no longer have as much shock that it happened or that it happened again. As much as we hope for the dreamed outcome, I think we "recurrent-ers" almost expect a sad outcome. Well I do.
I read a book called Is my Body Baby Friendly by Dr Alan Beer. One of the theories he pioneered is about natural killer cells in the uterus, which it seems leads to early m/c It is very controversial, but there are a couple of Dr's in Sydney who investigate this. One is Dr Sachs ( I think he is at Sydney IVF Bondi Junction, but he does telephone apps). There is a another Dr in Sydney but I can't recall his name - it begins with a W. The difference between them is primarily the treatment they use. I understand from my own enquiries that a uterine bioposy is taken at a certain stage of your cycle and is NKC are high, then you can be offered treatment. My GF had a bioposy taken by her FS and the pathology was sent to Sydney for assessment. I would recommend you call and at least make some enquiries. I am not a medical expert at all but the book and my own enquiries opened up my mind to a whole range of possibilities.
Knowledge is power girl. I know its hard. It took me ages to summon the courage to call them, but once I did I felt so much better. It doesn't seem to be an option for me, but anecdotally a lot of people have had success. 60 Minutes did a feature on a woman who had endured an amazing( incomprehensible) number of m/c before she was treated by Dr S, and now has a bub.
KIT - hugs sweets. Hope it's not just a long cycle.
FERALS - enjoy your day!
TTCALC - good to hear you got a break from the snow? How are you doing?
RIC - Poor you, poor DH. Get better real quick so you can be BD'ing very soon again. Make him so extra healthy meals and make him rest so he keeps some good health up and load him up with Vit C and antioxidants. He'll think you are pampering him but really it is your cunning plan to reduce disappointment.
Mildez - Bugger. Did DH say why he wasn't keen? For some blokes they use money as an excuse to cover their fear. There are no guarantees with IVF, but a lot of people have success. You might be one of them. Maybe if you talked to him about how important it is for you and try and get out of him what he's really thinking?
Murraycod - how you doing? IT"S MARCH!!!!! I am vicariously excited for you. I know what you feel about being unmotivated. I think I am living proof of it. Whilst I am really glad to have given up work and whilst I know my job now is to rest, I can't be bothered most of the time doing anything much at all except sleeping and watching tv and resisting the temptation to come on to BB twice a day. I can't even be bothered to go to the video store or to read a book. I hope I can get my mojo back when I need it.
Hi to everyone else. I miss you, I think I have exhausted myself in this post and need to go rest. Ha! Have a god day.

Hello My lovely BBers,
To all our newbies :welcome: I'm very sorry you're journey has not been good. I hope this site and thread brings you as much care and support as it has me over the last 10 months. :comfort:
Louie- I am so sorry you've lost your fourth. I totally understand how that feels, it's heartbreaking. Do you know what tests they have done for you? There is a very comprehensive list on the TTCAMAL main thread. Maybe there is something they have missed. Do you have a fertility clinic? Often they have a recurrent m/c unit that might be able to offer some hope. Again I'm so sorry :comfort:
Hugs to everyone :grouphug: More persies later.
AFM-I'm just off to start my blood tests to see if they can figure out a reason for my recurrent m/c. I'm hoping they find something but at the same time I hope it is something easily fixed. :crossfingers:

Sorry for the misery post i am due for AF so premenstral and moody.
-
Hello all
Ferrals so sorry you didn't get your BFP I know how you feel I did a test and got a BFN as well so I guess we both feel the same ( prity peed off ) I know what you mean about not having a problem before and I think maybe we try too hard sometimes ! I for one have decided not to let it run my life so much as for the last 6 mnths all I have thought about is getting another BFP well I have decided not to go to the FS as If god wants me to have another then it will happen and I have begun to get in my head the fact that it will not happen again for me ! I have 9 and I have been blessed and I hope all you ladies are blessed real soon,
I am older than you and it took me a full 12mnts the last time I got pg so my timeline doesn't give me much hope but you are younger than me ! I have had 2 in my 40s so don't give up try and relax a bit more and just do your test and try not to stress too much ( that is what I will do anyways ):comfort: I will still check in now and then but I do feel that I am pushing my limits so good luck to everyone I will keep looking but won't post too much,
:pink-babydust::bluedust::pink-babydust::bluedust: TO ALL !:)
-
I'm so sorry for everyone's sad sad news. I was coming on tonight to see how everyone testing was going...:grouphug: for everyone.
Louie - I'm so sorry you have lost this fourth one...I just can't imagine the pain of that. I know a few GFs who have used Clexane from their BFP onwards. It is an anti-coagulant and seems to help prevent some forms of early miscarriage. Your GP can prescribe it if you aren't see a FS but maybe it would be good to get in to see one if you can to see if there is anything else to explore. There is a simple test for killer cells and the Clexane is said to work with this and I've heard also of small doses of steroids in IVF just before a transfer to help knock these out. It may not be any of these things but worth exploring more.
Dory, Ferrals, Crafty - so sorry you are all having such a hard time of it.
I'm fixing dinner so can't do anymore personals just now but hi to everyone and hugs to you all.
TTCaLC - good luck with the court case - that's such a huge thing to deal with in itself. I hope it goes your way.
Bye now,
Alice x
-
First of all - :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: for us all. I know I need it!
Louie: Ow, that breaks my heart so I can only imagine what it's doing for you. I really hope you get lots and lots of information and that something can be done so you can get your forever bub. Don't give up hope.
Dory, Ferrals, Crafty: Boooo for BFN! BOOOOOO! It sucks.
Snugglybean: Thanks for your words, they made me smile, although I'm sorry you were crying on a bus!
TTCALC: Good luck with everything!
Ric: Hope hubby feels better soon! Crack that whip girl! :whip:
Alice: Hows things?
AFM: Very tired, had a residential thing at Uni this week so I'm away from DH, first time in 4 yrs! Bit sad. Haven't tested again yet, dont really wanna see another BFN, I'm just gonna try and wait it out. Stupid waiting. Love for everyone!
-
Thanks for your kind words and support... I need them right now. It's time like these when you find out who your true friends are. Two lovely ladies from work brought around some flowers to help cheer me up and my mum sent flowers.... I just burst into tears knowing that people loved me that much and wanted to help. My hubby keeps saying he doesnt know what to do for me and I just say being there is all I want. We've been through this before but this time is the hardest. We're off to the Gyno tomorrow who will want to send me for an US but I don't want to. I know I should but I'm not strong enough too see an empty screen. I dont even want a blood test done..... I know what the result will be.
Dory... I will have a look for the book you mentioned. It may help answer some questions we have or open our eyes a bit more and not just leave it up to the professionals. I saw the 60 minutes program but I didnt take much notice.... will have to research into it a bit more.
My mum has given me a website my aunty is using for menopausal (spelling??) related problems, to look at. It's called Shen Therapies and located in Jamboree Heights in Brisbane. Has anyone else heard of them or know anyone who has used their services?
Sunbeam.... I honestly don't know what tests I have had, I've just trusted my Drs and gone with the flow. Hopefully tomorrow we'll have some answers and if not I'll try to go back to another FS i saw earlier this year. It's hard living where I do as we don't have easy access to Drs.... you use whoever is in the town. We did travel up to Wollongong to see a FS and will travel to Sydney if we have to. I do hope your blood tests find the answers you are looking for so you can fulfill your dreams.
Ferals... You've probably been told before but don't give up. The little one you are waiting for will come, just time will tell... you never know this cycle might be the one.

Wow girls where do I start??
Loopielouie, darling so sorry you are going through this again XX Cyber huggs to you XX
MissK, don't feel like getting the Xray did you or your baby any harm, the girls are right, it would take 2weeks of continuouse Xrays for it to affact anything XX Don't beat yourself up about that, I too think of reasons why I lost my little one, but the highest percentage of the time, there is no reason, it is just natures decision, as harsh as she can be. For multiple losses I would definately start asking questions though.
Ferrals, darling, I am dissapointed for you, I was so sure that this would be your time, but now, not yet. You don't have dud eggs, you are not a dud either.
The Ovulation Gizmo sounds like a sure way of knowing when to time things right, but please understand, It could take a couple of tries still. Just like my IVF game, the stats get higher and higher, we just have to be patient!!!
I know you have been looking at more options, to hurry things up, and I too was hoping that you didn't have to go any further than look, but darling don't give up now, you have come way too far, and I wont allow it!!!:p
Oh, one last thing, I do hope your boys are ok XXX I had both of my ingrown tonails operated on after so many attempts to get them fixed, I have nasty scars on both my big toes!! I hope your boys heal well X
And I hope the broken wrist is pain free now, and mending away. You are a buisy girl!!!
The lurking, upcomming AF is the nasty one, the one where you know you are going to get her, but she still devistates you because you still think you have a faulty test, or hold onto a chance that it was too early to show.
That firts moment of show, wow, if I could bottle that moment up for everyone here, if I could bottle up the first feeling for everyone, dig a gigantic hole and burry all of the bottles to be never found, or unearthed again, I would XX
That my friends, would be the coolest. !X
Dory, I hope you start to feel more yourself soon, I loved reading your post earlier, I love the things you write. I would love to have the ability to write the way you do XX Belly rub for you by the way :)
Ric, honey, gosh you poor thing you are getting the lot hey!!XX I hope you both feel better soon, nothing worse than trying to BD with a snotty nosed unshaven clammy other half!! Not even just to do the job!! Take care babe XX
KitF, love to you to honey XX Good luck with the study this year, and good idea to wait it out I think. Take it easy XX
TTCALC, I was thinking of you the other night when i was watching the olympics, I love seeing all of the snow, wondering what it feels like! I know it feels like a pain in the proverbial end for you, but wow!! Mygod the kids have been off school a lot, wish it could have snowed when I was at school!! Wouldn't have had to wag and get detention then!
Sunbeam, godluck with the testing honey, I too hope that something simple and fixable is found XXX Love to you strong one XXX
Mildez, I too hope you dont need to go down the IVF road again, it's an exciting one when it happens, but I am an emotional zombie at the moment, just waiting for a FET!!
I hope that luck is on your side, and a miracle comes to you soon XX And lurk away!! I do sometimes too!!
Snugglybean Sweetheart, yeah i thaught your SVN channel was on the fuzzy side!! How are you going? Goodluck this month honey, you are sure up for some good news soon, I can feel it in my bones!X
Glad that you have been out enjoying your life as it is, nice to be at peace with yourself and having a great time with friends X
OMG plucking my eyebrows makes me cry!! I think my eyebrow hair is joined to my nose from the inside!!
SammyP, Jahzara, how are you lovely ladies going?X
Alice, I am sooo love'n your Avy!! XX Has your on/off AF settled yet?
Sarahrach did you find out anything more about the cyst on your ovary? Did you end up ovulating or not, you have had me wondering over it for a couple days X Hope things are well X
Alicat I hope that endometrium is getting juicy and thick!! How are you babe?
em, darling, I hope you are feeling ok today, 1week today, I hope you are looking after eachother XXX Welcome to this part of the BB Forums, you are very welcome here, and sure to make some great supportive friends to assist you to pull through XX Nice to meet you X
Iona-Macca, nice to meet you too X So sorry your visit here is a sad one, we will all get you through this hard time, plenty of strong shoulders to lean on X
I M/c naturally too, and I undersatnd waiting it out is a tough thing to do XX
Honey, I hope your levels drop quickly so you can get your cycle back XX Take care, things can be still very raw, so just go easy XX
Crafty, I know you are having a low month too, nothing has gone exactly to plan since your darling boys went back home, and I wish I could come over and fix things for you.
Please don't give up hope, don't let these challenges beat you down. We are sent many things in our lives to test us, and for you, yes, you have been landed with a few 'beuties' over the last couple weeks to give you a real Aussie Flogging, but hey, why take off the gloves without getting in few good punches hey??
Cmo'n English lassie, you got a better fight'n spirit in you than this!! Now I want to see you in at least a couple weeks with your BDing nickers on!!
I am sorry I know I have missed people, but my post has been so long already!! Hope to catch up with all of you next time XXX Love to you all and take care XXXXX
AFM, still in my weird mood of not being motivated to do anything, yet as soon as I get home from work, I mop the floor when it is clean, I polished all of my woodwork yesterday, then thisavo?? The craziest, I cleaned the inside and out of my fridge spotless, then decided to take everything out of my horrendouse tupperware cupboard, and clean that too, then headed to the bathroom and cleaned al those cupboards out! DH just looked at me weird as he stood there sucking on a beer being entertained by the mad moman he married!X
So that's me so far, lazy, unmotivated, yet cleaning like a mad woman untill I fall into an exhausted heap. I know I don't make sence, DH tells me all the time!
Still no AF.

Nesting much, murraycod? That FET must be coming up soon! It's March!
DH and I decided to open a bottle of red tonight to celebrate the beginning of March! We hardly ever drink when it's just us at home, but I had the day off today, it walloped down rain but I still had the most beautiful wonderful day out and about, then came home and made a mushroom and bean lasagne.
Kit - I've cried everywhere! Back in Sept last year was probably the pinnacle though, when I hid under my desk and really cried my eyes out. Someone eventually found me and took me home. Life is a lot less stressful now though - I left that job for a new one that gives me beautiful long weekends like this one!
Actually, on that - I finally told work the truth about my story. Lots of my colleagues (we are a small and tight team) have been asking when we're planning a family. So far I have palmed them off and said "oh, maybe soon." But I had a really good chat with one of the girls, found out she tried for 7 years before having her little girl (who I adore) and I told her the truth. She cried. I know I made the right choice by telling her.
xxx to you all.

Oh goodness, there is a lot of sadness in this thread from the past few days. I am so sorry to hear about your loss Loopy.
And the girls are right MissK - its not your fault. You've got to try and forgive yourself. I took baby snorkeling in some pretty cold water and I was blaming myself for that ending in MC. Of course it was not the reason, but I just wanted something tangible to hang the blame on.
Hi Em - its good that you've found this thread and I hope that you'll be on the road to TTC really really soon (with a nice sticky one following shortly thereafter!!!)
AFM: well after several O false starts, looks like my body has finally done it. Got three higher temps and a solid red line on Fertility Friend.
MurrayCod - I've been told the cyst is something that will disappear so I'm not worried so much now, but its so weird that I got all the O symptoms and the O pain without the temp rise. Weird.

Morning all
Crafty-I understand what your saying thats the way i feel with our bad gene i said to who ever runs things up stairs if you will bless us with another baby please let it be a healthy one or don't let me fall pregnant at all but part of me just wants to know if the year since we lost abbi has effected my fertility and i would be happy just to see those 2 lines whatever the outcome does that sound selfish
I hope you will stick around you are still popping out an egg every month so when your gismo arrives you can time it perfectly and hope that its a good strong egg.
Kitfaerie-I wouldnt test either i have decided i will not test early again next month i will just wait until AF is late YEH RIGHT!! who am i kidding.
Murrycod-I know you are right i just wanted to be pregnant before Abbi's Bday on the 20th to help me feel better when i am suppose to be celebrating my nieces 18th maybe it's not ment to be i worked out it has been 16 months since i fell pregnant and almost a year since we lost her and in that time there has been 5 months that we have actually tried to get pregnant in between waiting and the IVF and all the months we diddnt try because we were scared of another sick baby it feels like such a waste of months and now we tried in jan and feb and nothing i just can't imagine going the rest of my life and not having my gorgeous hubby's baby how is it i can have kids to a deads##t ex husband who is a terrible father sooooooo not fair.
Jakes toe's are doing great he has had them done 3 times now poor thing i hope this was the last time and dean my eldest had 1 plate and 6 screws inserted in his hand i spent 2 days in hospital sooooo boreing but he is fine and will survive seeing it was self inflicked (punching a bus stop sign) no sympathy from me but thanks for asking
I hope AF doesnt turn up and you have a harriet in there growing and snow bub harvey will have to wait a little bit to meet his mum dad and big sis (would be nice) but if not i hope AF shows on time and then you can get underway with defrosting harvey and putting him in the oven to start cooking.
Ric-sorry you and DH are having a bad run with illness but if worst comes to worst stick some tissues up DH nose throw some cough medicine and panadole down his gob and tell him to roll over you will do all the work all he has to do is not cough or sneeze snot on you he he the visual of that whole senario is not real good but hey us women will do anything for a baby.
Sunbeam-i hope you can get some answers but to be honest when we were waiting for the autopsy results and all the chromosone and genectic tests i told myself i wanted there to be a reason but what i found out was not what i expected and it was devastating two healthy fertile people can have kids to other people but not to each other i hope your answers are fixable and something simple.
Anywhooo-AFM AF is on her way so back to the old drawing board we have our naturopath appt tomorrow (hope they dont cancel this one) and this month i should be fertile around abbi's Bday and testing on my Bday so lets hope thats an omen and this is my month.

hi ladies,
So much sadness at the moment for you all..Hugs to everyone.I have put off posting the last few days as i have read each persons journey this month.I didnt want to be inconsiderate when so many of you lovely ladies are having such a tough run.Its just plain unfair.I am crossing everything that can be crossed and praying my heart out that this month is a better month for you all.Something just has to go right with all the wrongs going on!!!!!!!!!
Alot to catch up on so i wont go into persies, just know i am thinking of each and evryone of you and sending lots of hugs and positive energy to each of you.
AFM- well ultrasound didnt show alot as i wouldnt let them internally. so have to wait till end of this month for another one.According to the ultrasound by what they could see, i was only 4 weeks.Weird i say considering i had tested positive on HPT 2 weeks earlier..the mind boggles but my dr has been brilliant. She sent me for another blood test on friday and came back yesterday with result of 376. so we are rising..see what happens i guess....very scary and way too scared to even join a group for due date...
anyway enough of me, thinking of each of you xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

Thanks Murraycod and Ferrals for the pep talk I know I should feel more positive and I really would love a BFP but I have to get my head around the idea that it may not happen for me and I am comming to terms with it more and more as the days go by.
I think if I just step back a bit and wait till my gizzmo arrives and do like you say ferrals on the days it tells me then I have given it my best shot and its a gamble as to whether its a good egg or not. I will keep trying I promise but I will also try not to let it rule my life. You are special girls and I thank you for your friendship and wish you all the luck in the world for MARCH it has to be a good month !:)
To all you new ladies SORRY you had to join us in here but there are some lovely people in here all waiting patiently for anothrer BFP and all with sad stories to tell, I hope you can get some comfort and know you are not alone we are all here for you ! I  you feel at peace soon and get a BFP not too far down the line.
Loopie louie sorry it was not a good week for you and I would definately be asking more questions now I have mc quite a few times but have had healthy pregnancies in between so I think you should ask more as to what they think is going on.
Sunbeam, snuggly, ttclc, ric, mattewsmum, sending happy vibes your way thanks for thinking of me !
AFM just trying to chill out a bit and get on with my life and not stress too much over this TTC lark I will receive my gizmo later this week and that should help with guessing the right day for bdancing ( then him indoors can do the deed on the correct day ) and stop messing around getting toooo tired ! will pop in every day to see how your all doing and be waiting for some GOOD NEWS ! we sure need some.
One last thought !
"Anyone can tell you it won't hurt tomorrow but I'm here to listen while it hurts today."

Hi everyone,
We went to the Dr this afternoon and we both feel a bit better. Hubby's confusion over how cycles work and how everything is inter-related is at ease. The Dr seems to think I wont need an US or a D&C (I didnt want to anyway) cause my levels weren't high enough. But all we have to do is wait for 2 natural cycles and then try again. But I am to continue taking Metformin and once we see him again in 2 months we'll begin 150mg Clomid. Just a waiting game.... but hopefully will get a nice package in the end.
I'm actually feeling better in myself today. Had a few tears at work but it's getting easier. We have (well.... I have) decided to declutter my life... get rid of stuff no longer needed around the house, do things to the house, stay off this computer more, change the way we eat and exercise.... basically a life change. I want to be more physically and mentally ready, and hubby too.
TTCaLoveChild.... I would think it's the day you period started... but I'm not good with that sort of stuff!
The gizmo thing that everyone is talking about sounds hopeful... those who have it will have to keep us posted on how it goes.
Hubba_Bubba.... everything is crossed here :crossfingers:... good luck!!!
Off to cook dinner..... hope everyone is keeping well....

Hi everyone
Just a quickie - finishing up at work so had a looong day today packing, moving, filing etc.Boring.
MurryCod - LOL about you doing all that cleaning! I did my fridge a few weeks back - hate to say it but it was a good few years since I'd done it that thoroughly! Yesterday I spent sorting out all the stuff in drawers around the house - feels good to have it done but I was a bit weary getting to the office today to do the same thing there! For me I think it was a bit of wanting things to go back to normal but with your little blastie waiting to thaw I think the girls are right and are you are nesting! I so hope this one works for you. Thanks I love my avy too!
Louise - good to read you are feeling better in yourself today about everything and positive about the cycle to come.
MatthewsMum - how's the IVF preparation coming along? You doing OK on the pill? I hate it - always look forward to that bit ending and the cycle finally starting. Two more months to go for me.
Ferrals - that's so not fair that you and your DH haven't had your own baby together yet. My DH would make a beautiful dad too - I sometimes think I look forward to that as much as being a mum, if not more. I hope those bad genes don't get in the way and you can celebrate your birthday with a big fat BFP.
SnugglyBean - that was a brave thing to do and lovely that there is someone you work with who can share your journey with who understands.
Hubba - sounds good - hope the next two weeks goes well and you can see more at your next test. I would feel the same about not joining a due date group yet - hang here with us til your ready - we'll keep you company!
KitFaerie - I love that you spell Faerie the right way (just wanted to say that!). Hope the wait flies past - I reckon the few days before are the hardest. Hoping for a BFP for you
Sunbeam - how'd the blood tests go? Any news?
Dory - belly rubs for you. I hope you find your mojo soon.
Ric - are you both feeling better?
Kirsten - are you lurking? How's it going? Any news?
MissK, Em, Iona-Macca - how are you all holding up? Hope you are taking good care of yourselves.
Sorry to miss anyone - hope all is well with you.
AFM, still taking my 'happy - NOT! - pills' (poor DH). AF has come and gone so now I'm trying to concentrate on getting a bit more fit and healthy and looking forward to May when we can get going with IVF again. Still waiting for the results of the testing from the mc and wondering whether it was nature taking it's course or just my aging eggs. Boo for aging eggs. I want my young ones back again.
Alice xx

just want to give everyone  this is a busy thread and hard to catch up on anyone, but just wanted to say it makes me sad to see so many people in this thread that are all hurting. so  to you all.
Just trying to get by at the moment and trying to stay positive but it's so hard.
