Thanks Chappas and AJC.
I have been getting nausea but not too bad. Chappas - I am on Aspirin already. I am taking 100mg a day.
Not too well today - got a funny tummy, trying to do housework but have to keep stopping. At least I have done the washing, cleaned the bathroom, steam mopped all the floors and put away the ironing from last night.
Hope you are all having a good weekend.

Hi all am coming to u from my iPhone so will be quick as it's a real pAin to type on. Just to let u know that I had my thyroid stimulating hormone TSH blood test done after 8 weeks after being diagnosed with high levels of 11m/ul and had to take orxcin to get it down to between 0.4-4.00 and guess what????? My levels r now at 1.8m/ul !! this is great as doc said I should b below 2.00 to fall pregnant and not miscArry. So am still on mess and will have another blood test in 4 weeks to mAke sure levels remain stable. So we r so happy with the results we r on the gold coast this weekend celebrating this good news and my dh's new business! Babydust and stickyvibes to all will do persies when back home and my time is my own and not my employers! Hugs to all and sorry for the mistakes and all about me post.

Good morning lovely ladies!! Sorry for being so scarce lately, will do my best to make up for it by leaving a super long post!
Thanks for your support regarding my "friend". The principal explained to her that each item had a minimum bid of at least 1/2 its value, so she either had to pay its value, or return it. I'm not sure if I explained before, but she won a $25 gift certificate for $5, when it should've had a minimum bid of $12.50. I made the rule about the min. bid, and two of the items that she won didn't have a min. bid written on it (I printed the bidding sheets, and it was her job to write the min. bids). She also wanted a golf package, so she told other people that if they couldn't pay in full, they couldn't bid on it... but then she asked me if she could pay in installments! WTF? The people that she turned down for payments were parents that have helped me, and I know them, and she had no right to make that decision just because she wanted the item! She confronted me yesterday, and kept telling me that these things were all free to us, so why am I making such a big deal.... I guess she forgets that I've been working my A$$ off for these kids, trying to earn them every dime I can, and she's cheating and robbing them! She just doesn't get it! :wall: Anyhow, she's very shady... and won't be allowed to handle any money at the school anymore. I was told yesterday that since she quit working the snack bar for Little League (baseball), they've earned $3,000 more than when she ran it! It's really unfortunate, but I can't be associated with people like that! I sent her a text telling her that I knew about the limo, and she sent me one back saying, "I'm sorry that all my help has upset you so much"... all her HELP? I need help like that like I need a hole in my head! Anyhow, thanks again for your understanding and support! As usual, I knew I could count on you girls to understand! Big *hugs* for you all!

Hey Mel! I have to tell you, I used to know a guy named Mel--and his nickname was "smelly Mel"... so I have to smack myself everytime I see your name and think, "it's smelly Mel!" I'm sorry, I just can't help it! lol.... at least you know I'm smacking myself for you! Big *hugs*
-
Hi Jen, that makes me laugh! I have to share something with you. I used to work in a deli when I was in college (a long time ago...) and my workmates used to stir me and say smelly Melly from the deli. I never smelt (at least I hope I didn't ) but they used to love to stir me with it. Luckily my dad is a big stirrer so I am used to it and can take it.
Now, this is just between us, right?
Don't expect me to change my signature!!!
-
Mel-- That's imprinted in my brain forever.... smelly Melly from the deli! You'll probably regret telling me that one!

Hi there - this is one of those more selfish me posts today. I am sorry I have been absent from thread for the last week. After great hcg results last monday I have been a nervous wreck again last few days as am at about stage where I miscarried last time. Had another blood test this morning and the nurse finally rang with the results and said levels look great. The hcg is 25 420. By my calculations if you go by the doubling every two days I thought it would be over 40 000 but she said that you can only go by that calculation early on so there is no problem. I also read somewhere that it is meant to double every two to three days - so if I calculated on three days it is okay. Does anyone else know anything about this? My progesterone is about same as last week (1100!) and oestrogen has risen to around 11 so I think that is a good sign. Now I just have to get through and try not to stress out completely till my scan next wednesday. I get to see a heart beat this time.
 to my fishy friends Jen and Megsmum. Jen I cannot believe your so called friend - I agree with friends like that who needs enemies! Megsmum hope all is going well
WTH: have been thinking about you a lot - when is your bt? for a great result
possums: you are in my thoughts and prayers. Your strength through this difficult time is inspirational, but I so wish you weren't having to go through this again:comfort:
For all the victorians out there - I pray you are all safe from the bushfires. My thoughts are with everyone affected by these devastating fires
Shortcake - yeah for AF but sorry she is being nasty. Glad you can start TTC again now.
jackjack - thank god DS is safe - how frightening for you all. My parents also have a pool with a gate that doesn't close reliably and I have been hassling them about it - it just takes a few seconds for tragedy. Hope you are feeling better too
mannie - glad thryoid is getting sorted - great news and hoping this means you will be getting your forever baby very soon
:pink-babydust: :bluedust: to ruthie, samandpoppy, mel, hannahD (hope you are enjoying the cooler weather!), polly, and everyone else TTC
:bellyrubs: to chappas, erybery, theresa and smi
:grouphug: for everyone else reading this post

Hello everyone,
Sorry for MIA and lurking...how rude!
I love catching up with all your stories and news, but nothing much to report here. Work has kicked up a gear (I'm trying to tell myself it'll be a good thing) and I've had time to read, but not to post back. UTI is finally gone...so missed the boat this month. Very sad. We should have been 13 weeks today, not twiddling our thumbs waiting for AF so we can start again. It feels like we've wasted a month ~ maybe a sign that we're not ready to try again?? I'm not sure.
We have extended family and friends of friends who have been troubled by the fires here so the last few days have been quite surreal. Houses were even lost in neighbouring suburbs and we're in suburban Melbourne. Amazing that you Qld girls are living with floods and torrential rain whilst we're burning down here!!
Sorry that this post is not more uplifting. I think of you all quite often, sorry for not posting more.
:grouphug:
Take care everyone.
PS - not feeling 'tired' buy can't change my doo-dad. :)
-
meh--You can change your mood smiley up at the top right corner of the page! ;) Sorry to hear about your friends/family being troubled by the fires. I've been watching it all on the news...terrible doesn't even describe it! You're in my thoughts and
babymiracles--Hey fishy friend! Sorry to hear you've been feeling a wreck... try to remain calm (stupid to say, I know, but just try for me!). Your numbers are great! Before you know it, you'll be holding your little one in your arms wondering why you never enjoyed the first months of being pg! Keep your faith, and remember that it's all in God's hands, you just have to be grateful for what you have now at this moment--treasure it! Big, big  and :stickyvibesgirl:
-
:hooray: IT WORKED! :leap:
THANK YOU to all you luvlies for your magical  and sticky cyber vibes:
Jen, HannahD, PLC, MegsMum, Babymiracles, Theresa, AJC, Shortcake, Chappas, Mannie and Mel.

WTH: Congratulations what wonderful news :happyforyou::bluecheer::cheer::leap::leap: Wishing you a happy healthy pregnancy (and you can forget about worrying for the first trimester - I have been doing enough for both of us )
Jen: Thanks sweetie - needed the hug. Just to clarify too I didn't mean to sound ungrateful. I am over the moon to have got a BFP and am so ready to love a forever baby. I have always been a very anxious person though and find it hard to ignore the thoughts in my head and the worry in my heart. But I am trying to remain positive and reminding myself it is out of my hands - what will be will be. Besides the anxiety I am very happy and would like to shout from the roof top that I am pregnant at last - (but holding off on that till second trimester :D ) Just needed reasurrance from my belly belly friends today
meh - hi there. Hey i can't change my mood thingie either - what is going on I wonder?
-
WTH - What more can I say besides I told you so??? :hooray: and heaps of :stickyvibesgirl:
babymiracles - I did heaps of reading about HCG early on  you know my dramas. Your nurse is right, anything up to 3 days to double is OK, and after 6 weeks or so it can take even longer. Hang in there and try not to stress, you are doing great! :D Good luck for the scan, I'm sure it will go well.
Possums - Thinking of you hun
Big his to Jen, Mel, Shortcake, Mannie, Theresa, AJC, Polly and chappas and anyone else that I have missed - hope you are all doing well! And to any Vic girls, please stay safe with all those awful fires about, it is just absolutely tragic what is happening :(
-
megsmum: thanks for that. I googled hcg levels today and ended up finding a wonderful site that was extremely reassuring. Next test will be the scan - no more blood tests and hcg levels to interpret - yeah! Hope you are doing well
