Hannah- my GP is very thorough and has done heaps of blood tests and has me on tonnes of supplements. She's checked all my hormone levels at different stages of my cycle. She also checked my progesterone through my pg and realized it was low. This may have caused my m/c but I now have progesterone peseries to use as soon as I find I'm pg again to help support it. From what I've heard thyroid is a really important test too and has to be run over a series of a few months to get a proper picture. Also I had a HSG where they put a fluid in your uterus and see how it flows through your tubes. It can also show up other abnormalities that may prevent a baby sticking properly. Do you have a FS as they may have other ideas of tests that might be appropriate at this stage? Hope that helps.

Zstar- good to hear from you been thinking of you. I really don't think there is anyway not to stress after you've experienced a m/c and all you can do is try and take care of your self. My friend is 18 weeks and said she has only just started to relax about it all.

Maddison: Im keeping that in mind haha you ARE my charm

Sorry got no time for lots of persies but you're all in my thoughts.

I had a gorgeous day, took myself out for coffee and blueberry cheesecake, and then a vanilla tea and then for a walk in the sun then to mum's house, then my bra's I ordered online arrived in the mail (i special order the 10G cos its cheaper on the net) and Im just about to dish up fresh made salmon mornay, I blended macadamia nuts and added them to the breadcrumbs, its amazing!!

Also I had a bath tonight first time since the op and I needed it soo much! Showers were just not doing it for me..thought it might loosen the bowel muscles a bit..I had to buy supositories..errrghhh.. and I bought a Lisa Ho swimmer top for $20 which is rare for my boobie size & also got a Womens Health magazine to read and Im going to start some light excersise tomorrow!

    Afternoon :)

Tanya -=- Fingers crossed for you!! It would be nice to see a BFP come up for you! 2 year wait!! Thats so useless of them! I had to wait 8 months just to find out what was wrong with my son.. He was getting blisters at from week old everywhere for no reason and they were growing and bursting and getting infected all the time.. I was in and out of hospital so worried not knowing what to think! so i understand how frustrating it can be.. Hope all go's well for her! and hopefully this will be the last time she'll have to wait so long for some help..

Coco-=- Ur day yesterday sounds great! I think its good to try to get ur mind off things sometimes and just relax

sunbeam -=- congrats on the weight loss <3 Tiss always gud to get a gud reading on the scales!
enjoying my daily reads thinking of you all

Hello ladies! Hope you are all having a lovely day =)

Sunbeam- Thanks for the info about the testing. My GP said that they can't start doing any testing until my miscarriage is complete. So I'm still in the waiting stage right now Congrats on the weight loss! I need to get back to my diet and exercise soon. I've been so miserable the last few weeks, I haven't been take care of myself like I should be.

Tanya- I hope you get a BFP this cycle! Honestly, I don't know how you talked yourself out of testing. I never managed to do that, even if I knew it was way too early to get a BFP even if I was pregnant. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!!

Coco- Sounds like you had a wonderful day! I think you've reminded us all to pamper ourselves once in a while! I hope it did you a lot of good =)

Zstar- I am so sorry that hearing my story caused you more worrying. When I first got pregnant with my second angel, I just couldn't bring myself to come on this forum because it scared me to see what others had experienced. I know it is nearly impossible to not think of the possibility of something happening, but just remember that there is a very, very slim chance of having two m/c in a row. I will be praying that your little baby is growing big and strong! For me, I couldn't help but think of what might happen, but what helped me get through it was just being thankful for every moment I had with my baby, and that really kept me from being stressed out. I know it's hard to see all the angel babies on this forum, but just remember that there are far, FAR more people who have successful pregnancies the second time around. About 95%! So your odds are very good! Congratulations on your pregnancy! I'd like to know how everything is going with you, but of course we would all understand if it is too difficult to post here for a little while.

    Have a wonderful night ladies!

    hi girls

good work on your weight loss sunbeam!

hannahs86 - thanks so much for your words. i did have a mini break down yesterday but i feel so much better for it. i could feel it brewing and it was def for the best. i am now taking it one day at a time and as you said - being grateful for everyday that i do have with my baby and that i am pregnant. i talk to my baby when i'm driving around! reality is reality and what i learn't last night while thinking was there is not point walking around telling myself i couldn't cope if it happened again - because what ever life gives me in this baby game i will cope with. i want a baby so i will do what it takes! i will get all my strength right here! i am concerntrating on all the babies that are here and on their way. i really appreciate what you have said. it has helped so much. thank you.

    still have everything crossed tanya!

to everyone else, i hope you are having a good day and looking after yourselves.

afm - just had lunch and off to physio. dam neck! dh big 39th bday tomorrow so need to find a card. present all sorted - he needed a new portable esky. take care!

sorry Coco, but I had to have a little chuckle at the air pump incident! You've really brightened my day with some light hearted laughter. Thank you darl.

Ive been unableto book with the GPtoday so will have to wait until tomorrow. Im still very nervous and unsure so went and bought some tests from the chemist for tomorrow. Can you believe it, NO ONE stocked FIRST RESPONSE!! I was mortified! Ive bought the brand confirm instead. Is this a reliable and sensitive test?
Im really worried that the line is too light right now

Thanks Sunbeam :) the OB appointment went really well I am having a D&C on Friday so I will be ttc again in the Sep cycle (which will be 12 months ttc)... In the mean time the OB is doing some genetic testing and testing me for a few other things which can cause m/c's so that is really good... dh's swimmers came back excellent and the OB was really impressed with the results so that isn't the problem. the ob thinks it is most likely just bad luck but the tests will still rule out lots of other possible reasons. AND I get to feel pretty confident that I will loose at least another 5 kgs by Oct 1st (my weight before getting pregnant in Jan) and if it's a BFN in the Sep cycle I can just look forward to loosing even more weight

    hi again.

wow, pages and pages to catch up on.
Welcome to our new ladies, like everyone else has said - I'm sorry for why you are here but it's a good place to recuperate and heal. It's especially good when you are having a bad day and just need to vent because we always understand.

How do you put your photo in your signature block? that's such a great idea

For some reason even after having recently had my 4th m/c i am not nervous about it happening again...that might all change when I am utd but for now I'm really calm about it. I don't know if I am in the race this month. RB due about the 2nd Aug I think. not certain yet if my cycle is back to where it is supposed to be.

Congrats on the wonderful BFP!!!! I am hoping to see more - and hoping to finally add mine. I think what I find hard to deal with is having never gone fullterm...maybe I'll never be able to. A friend offered to be a surrogate - its a really nice offer because I know how much she HATED being pregnant.
I don't want to go that option...I want it to be all mine, my fat belly, swollen ankles, sore back and all of that wonderful stuff lol

I'm kind of rambling and whinging. having a 'sad' day. not depressed and crying but just emotional...desperately wishing that I was preg right now. Think a hpt will show if I test now lol.
To bad, they are all out home. Might not be able to help myself but to have a sneak peak on Sat morn with first pee (that'll be about 7 days early). I'd cry if I was. No feelings either way and I don't know when I o'd so its all a guessing game for this tww.

Who is in the tww wait now?
    Who is due to test?
Who has their bfp and is still lurking

Sorry but there are so many of us and so many posts that I keep getting confused. Ok well, thats my novel done.

for you all (smilie overload I know!)

oh - Coco - I really felt you with your post from a day or so ago...I also hate the - well there was obviously something wrong with it so its better this way! WTF??

Tested this morn... another BFN.... I think if I were UTD it would show up by now.... *sigh* bit depressed about it. Not to mention all the stress around her in the last day!! Not sure if I can do this.
