Hey there *waves*
My name is Kyra and we lost our precious bundle last november on our wedding day..

I was 5 weeks or so but we'd been trying for him/her for over a year before hand ... Me and hubby have a 2.5 yo son and origionally wanted our gap to be less than 2 yrs.. its really hard to go month by month with no results and keep a positive mind.

Anyway I was hopeing to get to know people in my position so i have someone to relate too..
I just got my cycle back properly last month *YAYS!* so im hopeing this will be our month.. Its so upsetting watching everyone around me have there kids and tehn watch those kids grow up while i am STILL trying to concieve mine. sometimes it feels like they and i know we will never have ours

Im guessing this feeling is normal??

anyway feel free to add me to facebook (my name is Kyra wolfe and dp is azula from avatar on nickelodian (yes im a bit of a child myself he he) if anyone feels the same as me please tell me! its driving me crazy feeling so alone.

i dont know how to do the lil signature thing so i will just write it at the bottom..

Me (21)
DH(22)
DS (2)
MC ( 06-11-08)
TTC again since jan 09

I spoke to the gynae's assistant and they said they found endometriosis and they cut it all out

I didnt think about endo and whether I had it but just read up on the signs and I have all of them! Why didnt I think of this??

Pain may be in any of the following forms:? Period pain ? immediately before and during the period
? Pain during or after sexual intercourse
? Abdominal, back and/or pelvic pain
? Pain with opening bowels, passing wind or urinating
? Ovulation pain, including thigh or leg pain <---OMG! I HAVE BEEN WONDERING ABOUT THESE PAINS FOR THE LAST 4 MONTHS!!!

Bleeding maybe any of the following:? Heavy bleeding, with or without clots
? Irregular bleeding with or without a regular cycle
? Premenstrual spotting
Other symptoms may include:
? Bowel or bladder symptoms, including bleeding, constipation and diarrhoea, increase in
urinary frequency or change in your normal function
? Tiredness
? Mood changes
? Bloating
? Premenstrual symptoms
Infertility
Infertility is present in about 30 per cent of women with endometriosis. It is believed that chemicals
may be released from the endometriosis cells that:
? Interfere with the ability to conceive or
? Affect early normal development of the embryo
In moderate to severe cases, scarring may cause interference with the release of the egg (ovulation)
and passage of the egg along the tube because of damage or blockage.

Kyrawolfe. You have come to the right place. We all know how you feel. It is very normal to feel helpless and like it will never happen but stay strong. Im very sorry for your loss and being on your wedding day must of been even harder. I hope your stay here is only short.

Coco - Wow.... That is good news that they have taken it all out. Why didnt they tell you this yesterday?? My fingers are crossed that this is your month. How are you feeling today??

Kyrawolfe. I understand completely how you are feeling. I also have a 2.5 year old and feel the pressure to have another child before the age gap is too large. I was due at the start of June 09 with our 2nd and would have had a 2.5 year age gap- perfect I thought. Then I MC that baby just before Christmas. We have been TTC since my cycle in Feb with little success. I thought it would be easy as my first pregnancy was problem free and we conceived very easily. The 2nd only took 2 months so when I mc I told myself that it was probably for the best as the fetus wasn't developing properly and we would just get pregnant again- easy huh! well apparently not. I have been feeling so flat- I wouldn't call it depressed but I'm just not myself. Quite a few of my friends are getting pregnant for the first time and whilst I am excited for them I am also envious of their developing bumps. I recently decided to visit my GP for some answers, she sent me for blood tests and an US. I am going into visit her tomorrow where I can get some answers. The Dr who did my US mentioned that I look a little poly cystic but was a little dismissive. Of course I have now googled everything I can on PCOS and am sh@t scared now. I have found some info on Vitex (herbal remedy for hormonal imbalances) and progesterone cream that I am going to ask her about (which is very weird as I am a scientist by education and normally don't go for herbal remedies). Anyway hang in there, I'm sure it will happen for both of us. But please understand that you are not alone and whatever you are feeling is valid. All the ladies on this thread are great and supportive.

Everyone on this thread has proven in the past that they can conceive, it is just a matter of time. To all the ladies a massive hello.

Coco- sorry I must have missed your post. I just wanted to say that I have a GF who was diagnosed with endo, told at 26 that she would never be able to have kids, had surgery to remove her endo, modified her diet a little and conceived and delivered a healthy little girl in 2005. Since then she has delivered a healthy boy in 2008 (after more lapro) and is now pregnant again due in 2009 (after no medical intervention at all). She has mentioned in the past that the 3 months after her surgeries is when she got pregnant so hopefully it will be a BFP for you in the next month or so.

Hi to everyone else, I will update tomorrow after my Dr's appt. Hope your all well and I'm sure we will see more BFP soon.

But DH and i have decided if they have to move on to D.N.A sequencing we will try natrually until they find it i feel optimistic that 75% is ok odd's and i think the amount of bad luck we have had losing abbi and everything after that went down hill and nothing went our way i feel we have had our bad run and we are due for some good luck the only thing that is worrying me is once i'm pregnant is waiting for the testing and result's at 12 week's but the way i see it i could wait for the pgd ivf and it might not work anyway i have a bit of time my appt is on tuesday and AF is due then so i will see what my FS say's and go from there and thank's for asking i hope your RB dosn't show and you get to test on sunday wouldn't it be nice for those 2 lines to show up while your DD is there with you.

Zstar-hope you are relaxing and feeling confident this little one will stick.

Tanya-i also get the metalic yuk taste when i'm UTD hope it is a good sign for you.

Cherished-how are you feeling today i hope the bleeding is settling down for you and the porno boob's i laughed at that also and i did hear someone else use the term before in this thread not sure.

Tanya-[DON'T TEST JUST YET !!!!!

Milly-sorry to hear you have to take a break but i'm glad you now have some answer's i am also having a break until i know what is going on i need to stay here so i have someone to talk to who understand's what i am going through and the support is what is helping me get through each day maybe when you come back i will be starting my pgd ivf and still here so we can support each other.

Coco - I have endo (aswell as PCOS) apparently alot of the time they go hand in hand. I had mine removed through laproscopy surgery Nov O7. Did the Doc say where they found it and how bad it was? If they cut it all out then thats a good sign. We were told to TTC straight away as this is when you have your best chance (before it grows back) I know endo is scary, I KNEW I had it for years and docs just dismissed it, I actually had a laproscopy 7 years ago and the gyn didn't find it but when I had my recent surgery the new gyn said he other doc must have missed it!
At least now its been removed you have a much better chance! Thinking of you lots xox

Afternoon all how is everyone today, its the weekend YAY
I havent posted for a few days havent really had time but ive still been making time to get on every day and have a quick read.
Ferals its good to see that you are feeling ok and you are very strong to have gone through abbis things and getting them ready for next time, hopefully you get some good news about the DNA sequencing and if not you can try naturally and hopefully get a BFP very soon
Coco thats no good about the endo but great that they have taken it all out, hopefully your sticky little bundle will be on the way very soon
kyrawolfe and youve definately come to the right place. Its a very loving supportive bunch a ladies in here and hopefully it helps you out. The feelings you are having about not conceiving are very normal, we all have that concern but we have to keep our heads up and stay positive and know that it will happen when the time is right (hopefully sooner rather than later)
Milly thats not good news about the thyroid problem but at least now you have some answers and you can do things to correct it, and hopefully you will get BFP very soon
Tanya the metallic taste sounds very promising especially if you have had it before with other pg's. I suggest dont test as hard as it is but maybe try give it a few more days at least and then hopefully bring us the good news, will be thinking of you and cant wait to hear
Sunbeam hopefully Af isnt on its way and when you test on sunday its all good news, we need some more BFP's in here i think
Cherished thats no good about having the D&C but just think it will help and then you can get back on track with TTC. Similar thing happened to me, was still bleeding 4 weeks after m/c and even though it was only light it was extremely annoying and since having the D&C the bleeding has stopped, FINALLY
To anyone else i have missed i hope you are all doing fine.

Better go now and think of something to cook for tea, sorry ive written such an essay but just so many of us to talk to
Chat soon

Thanks erybery

Im not actually sure whether I am ovulating or whether I have already ovulated?

I had an almost positive opk yesterday but it was with very undiluted urine then negative today...so maybe Im still to get a positive? I dont know...I know i definately had a negative on wednesday but i had that glob of ewcm that ive never seen before. So...

Im a little hesitant to tonight. I want to but Im worried it will hurt my stomach.. I think i might have to tell dh not to go "deep"..iykwim??

I just had a shower before and I realised the dry blood on a particular spot on my belly button is my wound, then i felt nauseated and faint looking at it and trying to clean it and the one on my upper pubis so... :| Damnit, they're just going to have to wait and heal themselves...

Hi everyone

Just popping into tell Milly I too have a thyroid issue and am on meds, took me 6 weeks to regulate my thyroid and that was with 2 dosage adjustments. I feel pregnant the first month after it was regulated. I am assured by the docs by thyroid levels were fine and wasnt the cause of the loss. Just make sure you have your levels checked at least every 3 weeks when pregnant (I had mine done every two and a half weeks) as my endocrinologist said this can cause mc if goes out of wack. Baby needs to rely on your thyroid hormone for the first 12 weeks until their own works, I believe he said. However, I have Hashimotos Thyroiditis - which is underactive. Not sure if yours is under or over. Anyway just thought I would share with you.

Hi everyone.

I think we missed the googy egg this month, either that or the surgery disrupted my ovulating because I had EWCM on wed and a negative OPK, then on thurs when i came from hospital I had an almost dark enough to be positive OPK, then yesterday it was lighter and today its negative again... bugga...

I would have forsaken some pain to ! So now Im awaiting the wicked RB and hoping that I see a change after the endo being removed!

Anyone else who has had an endoscopy here?? If so I have some "how long.." questions..

1. How long till you got your results back?
2. How long till the pain went away?
3. How long till the gas they pump into you stops making everything hurt like hell?
4. How long till you started trying again?

Hope everyone is having a nice w/e. I felt ok enough to venture out today and then about an hour after we went out I started to feel pretty crappy so now Im in bed with the laptop and waiting for the panadine forte to kick in and do its thang.

Eli, it is possible that you may have caught the end of your surge on your OPK... do you check any other fertility signs? It is also possible that you are still waiting to O... I hope you aren't out this cycle.

Coco- sorry mate, never had endo so can't shed any light on your how long q's. Bummer about missing O, but at least next month you'll be able to enjoy trying a little more than you would have been able to this month, if you are a little sore.

AFM- Dr's this morning, said my ovaries are a little PC but that my hormonal levels seem ok and so I am not actually diagnosed as PCOS. She maintained that we just have to keep TTC, and doesn't think that the PC will cause too much of a hassle. The good news was that she seems to think that I probably o'd late sunday, so there is a very small chance of a BFP still this month.

Big hello's to all the other ladies, any other tests to hear about?

Thanks Maddison, Tanya, Ferrals, Zstar, Elsielouise, Superstarmumsy & everyone.

Coco - sounds like you have some answers too, so that's good news!!

Ferrals - perhaps we will be BB together - fingers crossed!!

Superstarmumsy - it is underactive, but it's not Hashimotos (I wish I had of taken some notes in the Drs!!) I have to take thyroid meds, adrenal meds, and iodine. That's good information so thanks for that, and that was great news for you, and very encouraging, so thankyou!!

Thanks everyone for all you wonderful support over the last couple of months, here's to BFP's for all!!!

Coco - What exactly is an edoscopy? Is it the same thing as a laproscopy? I had a laproscopy which was a camera through my belly button to have a look for endo, then they used probes to cut it out.
I got my results at my next appoint with the gyn which I think was a week later?? It was prob a week or 2 till I felt 100% better again. The gas gave me lots of pain in my shoulder and in ribs(which is normal) I think it prob took bout a week too. We were told to wait till I got AF and then TTC as they did a D&C at the same time so my lining was very thin. Hope this helps answers your questions!

Ery

Yeah I had the same thing as you did They didnt do a d&c because I was at the fertile time..

Tanya:Im pretty sure I missed it because my CM is dry and crumbly after having that massive glob of ewcm the day before the op and Im spotting because they took a strip of the unterus tissue instead of a full d&c...but I think I am just happy to sit out this time and wait until the next cycle...will be interesting to see how the next AF will be anyway so im complacent with my decision!

Thanks for helping with my questions!!
