Kyrawolfe - Arent the maybe baby things so exciting when you finally work out how to use it and get ferning. I was so happy the first time i got mine to fern. Its amazing what us TTCers get excited about!!! Good work on the bd timing. I hope its your month!!
SammyP - You are keeping us all in suspense but also dont be disheartened if you get a BFN cos you wont be using FMU. Save a test for the morning! Im so excited for you.
AFM - I just got some good news from a friend. Ive mentioned her a few times on here. She lost twins at about 23 weeks and then not long after have an early m/c. Well she has told me she is once again expecting and everything is going along well for her. Its the best news and she deserves to be a mum so much.
-
Maddison
Isnt the fern pretty! I spent about 20 minutes stareing at it in awe... What does it mean if it dissapears again after another 20 minutes??? wtf! LOL!
So happy for ur GF.. Tell her congrats and im sending her lots of vitual luck!
Anyone else got a maybe baby on here?
-
Im pretty sure the maybe baby has a time limit. Like you are meant to check it after no longer than 10 minutes so im guessing after that it starts to dissappear. Ive noticed that it does that too. But it does look really cool.
I found it hard to use to start with. I dont think it works for everyone but i have to put a fair bit of saliva on it and i just keep checking it until it dries. I dont worry about how long its been drying for.
-
Kyrawolfe - i have a similar one called Ovatel. I am due to O either tomorrow or Thurs, so i got it out this morning and i had a feint patch of ferning. Will be doing it again in the morning. Dont know how reliable these are but its interesting and i like the novelty of it.
I hope i do O when i am sposed to cause we had our dtd cutoff yesterday and the little spermies can only hang around for so long.
ETA: Mine says to check after 5 mins - should be dry by then. I found that it was hard to get used to in regards to how much saliva to use. Sort of have it under control now.
-
Sammy: now I will have to log on during work because I just HAVE to know your result :) I am hoping to see a BFP (I'm sure you are to!)
Kyra: Good luck with all the bd you been up to...least if you don't get a BFP you had fun lol...fingers crossed though.
Sparkles: fingers crossed for the coming month for you...it would be great if we could move to the next stage all together...make the stressful time so much better.
AFM: I'm having a *sob* wanna be preg day. Not completely devestated but hating being thin. Am due to O about next Friday so as long as I do on that day the chances are good for me but I don't want to wait. Want to test now and be +ve (not possible I am aware). Don't have anything happy or positive to say so that is my rant and I'm gonna head off.
-
Wishing Sammy lots of luck!! :D
Maddison, you're still my good luck charm for this month sweety!! We're going to be going at it hammer and tong once the OPK's start going positive!! I can't help it but Im reeeeeeaally optimistic about this month and our chances pending being able to bd enough with Anthony's work and him going away. keeping :crossfingers: anyhow!

And a nice white wine to accompany it! :D
Im watching Airways and all that show says to me is "don't fly tiger they'll screw you over" or "tiger airways has very poor customer service"....anyone flown with them?

Hello Lovelies,
OMG it has taken me so long to read all the posts I nearly don't have time to reply.
Nat and Cickybabe- I'm so sorry to hear of your losses but I'm glad you have felt able to join us and get the loving support that is always here.
Coco-I seem to be doing much better with my mother since my counselling its almost like I can detach from the fact that she gave birth to me and that she is now just the woman my dad lives with. It is very different between us now. Still think we should shoot them both  Can I come for dinner it looks yummmm!
Cherished-just wanted to say I hope thursdays tests are all as good as the ones that came back already.
Maddison-thanks for missing me
Toomanyshoes-so sorry to hear about your baby nephew that is so tragic  no one should have to go through that.
SammyP- SOOOO wishing you good luck for tomorrows test :goodluck:
afm-I am o'ing :leap: got the stongest positive I've ever had on my opk yesterday so guessing clomid has done its thing. Have done 3 inseminations so far and doing tonight and tomorrow morning. Hope its this month  I'm unfortunately totally sick with a cold :cold: but really don't care as I'm o'ing. I had coffee with my friend who got pg the same week as me. I had not seen her since we caught up when we were both 6 weeks. It was hard for the first 5 mins but then I was okay and still very happy for her, she is having a girl and is convinced her little Ella (lost at 19 weeks) has returned to her. I am also totally okay now with the fact that if I do get pg this month I will be due on the same day I had both my m/cs. Feel like its a sign.
Okay gotta go get spermies :pinksperm: for my little egg.
Have a great night.

Coco - ETA is Extra To Add. If you think of something you want to add you can go in and edit your post. You dont have to put ETA - it just lets people know it was an added extra IYKWIM. :D
Awesome Pie !
xxoo
-
Tina - It would be nice to all move on together, but i can't officially try till october so my mega folate doses build up..specialists orders so can't fight with that...damn it!!
Sammy...how did it go?
Morning everyone else :)
-
Sammy - Im thinking of you and my fingers are crossed for a BFP.
-
Just sneaking in to see if Sammy has been in yet !
Eagerly awaiting the news
xo

Well, I took a test last night when DH came home and it was negative. I waited until this morning to take another one and it's probably as faint as the one I took yesterday and didn't become visible until almost the ten minute mark. So I guess at this point things are still looking promising but I am reluctant to say it's a definite. DH has made me promise not to take another test until Saturday but I doubt I will be able to wait that long.
Coco - I loved your pie!!
-
It sounds very promising to me. Even a really faint line is a line. Hopefully in a few days it will get darker and darker. Do you have any symptoms??
-
I don't have typical symptoms like sore breasts or nausea but I don't get a lot of that with pregnancy anyway. The ones I usually get and am experiencing now are insomnia, poor sleep when I do nod off and lots of tinges and aches and cramps around my uterus.
-
GOOD LUCK SAMMY-=- LETS US KNOW WHEN U KNOW :D
btw-=- aparently i only o'd for half a day.. turned up neg today... so confused :s
Kyra
-
oooo sammy, sounds like it could be good news for you on sat then, im so happy for you. :)
-
Anila...what is your FB status about???
Sammy, Goodluck sweety!!!
-
ha ha coco, do u mean the ones with Mr Nobody?
well, someone, (and im assuming its either Bailea or/and Emmerson) keeps doing things around the house, like eat 12 chocolates from the fundrasing box, or put cat food in the toaster, or like todays one, they got the paid stamp we use to put on bills and stamped it all over the kitchen cupboards, but when i ask who did it, they all tell me it wasnt them, and nobody did it!
So on my fb, im telling Mr Nobody that he is no longer welcome in my house etc..:D
-
Keeping my fingers crossed for you Sammy! It sounds very promising!!
I had a question that I was hoping you ladies may be able to help me out with. I was just wondering about AF showing up again after a m/c. After I lost my first angel, my hcg level was pretty much at zero the day the bleeding started. This time, it was still over 5000 the third day. I am trying to figure out if the day it returns to zero is comparable to day one of a typical cycle? Or are there other factors that also affect when it returns? DH and I are planning a trip and I'm trying to avoid going when AF is in town, but I have no idea when to expect it. And speaking of the trip, that leads me to another question. It may be a long shot, but if I did happen to conceive again before we left for the trip, do you think we should cancel it? I think I would be too worried about something happening when we're away from home, but we've been planning this trip for over a year and it keeps getting cancelled. Maybe it would be good to get away and have something to take my mind of the stress if I was pregnant? I don't know... what do you all think?
-
Hi Hannah,
I cant help you with your first question about when a/f will return. I think everyone is so different. Maybe charting your temp will give you an idea when to expect it. As for your holiday i would still go if you get pregnant. If its an overseas trip i would check with your dr about flying and any vaccinations etc but if its just a holiday in Australia i would go and enjoy and relax. If you are pregnant by then you might not get another chance for a get away with just you and your partner before baby arrives!.
-
Hi girls,
Sammy- keeping everything crossed for you for saturday :crossfingers:
Hannah-my hcg zero day was pretty much like cd1 (it was about 12 days after the m/c) for me and I o'ed about 17 days later but as maddison said everyone is different and some people have had very different experiences.
afm- I am officially in the TTW. Had another positive on my OPK yesterday so I should o tonight. We got 5 inseminations in so I'm happy about that :D. Still full of cold and trying to fight it with Butter Menthols, they're not doing much good though, too scared to take anything else.
Have a lovely day.
-
hi girls
i have been lurking around everyday and checking on things....
sammy - sounds good. i remember my 1st pg the line was sooooo faint. :crossfingers:
sunbeam - the tww - yeh!!!! positive positive positive!!!! 5 inseminations - impressive girl!
hannah - i agree with maddison. if its in australia - go, try to relax and enjoy the time with your partner. my af returned exactly 4 weeks after m/c but as said before, everyone is so different.
anila - cat biscuits in the toaster - hilarious!
nat & chickybabe - you will find the most amazing support here. i hope your stay is short!
coco - hope all is good with you. i see your mum is still causing you grief - far out - like my mother in law she should get on her broom and go away for a little while. i loved your chef like dinner! clever girl!
big hi to everyone else. i hope life is being good to you and look forward to some more BFP's very soon......(sammy!!!!)
-
Well im gueeing ive finished O'ing,,, so that means im entrering the two week wait.. wish me luck!
Im officially sick as a dog with a headcold.. i feel so icky and bleh..
talk soon
Kyra
-
Just a quick question.
Do you generally consider that you o the day your temp rises or the day before. Last month I felt every minute of it and it was definitely the day my temp rose but I've been looking at charts and it seems unclear. Also my pg book says your temp rises before/during or after o, very helpful, not! Just wondered what you girls thought.
Kyra- my TWW buddie :D I got a head cold too so snap. Hope we both feel better soon and get BFPs.
-
Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to say a quick thanks to those who responded re my questions about a d&c. So I had the hysteroscopy, polypectomy and d&c on Monday and have hardly any bleeding at all which is great. I was meant to O last week but i think with the trauma of going through surgery for my appendix put my body into shock or something and didn't release the eggy. According to my temps now, I think I may have O'd on Monday (the same day as the d&c etc.. - strange?!?!) so hope to expect af in about two weeks and then we're off and running again with a clean slate.
Thanks again to everyone who responded.
Wishing you all a great week. hugs to you all - you're such a great bunch of women and I apologise for only popping in now and again when it seems I need something, but I do catch up on the reading every so often and you are always in my thoughts. I love to hear of the bfp so Sammy I'm wishing you all the very best and hope that line gets stronger for you.
love to you all. and thanks again.
-
Sunbeam - Good to see you back... I was wondering where you got to! I have thought that you o before the temp rise. Thats why temping can only tell you that you have o'ed and not that you are o'ing. I hope that makes sense. On ff it says you need 3 temp rises to confirm o has occured.
-
Juleswa - Im glad everything went well for you. Feel free to pop in whenever you need us because that is why we are here! Keep us updated on your journey and i hope that BFP is just around the corner for you. :bluedust:
-
afternoon all hope everyones week is going well and we are now at hump day WOO HOO! 2 days till the weekend. Sammy good luck with the bfp it sounds very very promising. Let us know when you know more. Jules im glad the ops all went well and now you can get back on track with the ttc. Kyra and sunbeam good luck with the tww and hopefully you both get lovely bfps at the end. Hannah cant help you with the first question but as for the holiday i would still def go if in aus and just try and relax. If going overseas maybe just check with doc as to what they think. Good luck getting a bfp. Anilla thats hilarious about mr nobody. Isnt it amazing how strange things happen but noone ever seems to have done it  Hello to everyone else i have missed. AFM still no bloody computer and getting so angry about it now. They told me prob about 4 days and now its been 2 weeks. So sick of using my phone. As for ovulating not too sure when or if it has happened yet as i dont temp or use opks so am just hoping that we have bd at the right time. Am trying not to obsess about it too much and just see what happens as thats how it happened last time. As soon as i stopped thinking too much about it it just happened. Anyway better get going and organise dinner and i think i am in the tww with sunbeam and kyra. Anyone else joining us there? Night all
-
back again quickly, just after id finished writing last post i looked at my ticker and its telling me 1 day till ovulation so might have to bd tonight and tomoro night just to be sure weve done all we can. Hehe just thought id add that in. Bye now
-
Anila-we have a mr nobody in our house but we call our's the ghost and he has followed us to 3 houses now.
Sammy-crossing finger's for you.
AFM-well as i ovulated early on day 11 instead of day 15 and we fooled around heaps the day before and that morning i guess i am in the TWW aswell when i shouldn't be but if it happen's this bub will be healthy i just know it.
-
Hey everyone :)
Hope everyone's doing well, fingers and toes and eyes totally crossed Sammy, keep us posted!
Doing ok here, AF is almost over so DH is looking forward to the baby making fun! ;) (sorry if TMI) I had our local support group for people who have lost babies tonight, it's only once a month, I'd love it if it was more often, it's only a small group but it really helps just to talk with people (much like on here) who have gone through the same thing. It's a kinda hard night tonight with the full moon....I know it might sound a bit silly, but it was a full moon the night Brock was born so everything always comes back in force. DH is also out tonight so I'm also not quite 'easy' with being at home by myself yet, even if it's just for a few hours. Oooooh boy I sound like a nutcase!
I'm rambling a bit so I reckon I might go crawl into bed, thanks for letting me vent. :grouphug:
Sweet dreams all.
Natt XO

Hi girls
Ive begun to bleed I believe. Brown discharge and some light cramping. Expecting things to get worse. Im heart broken. This is my 2nd in EXACTLY 23 weeks. My last happened on a Thursday to. Going to try to see my GP for confirmation.
What is qrong with me? Why can't I hold a pregnancy? I have no idea if I can survive this.
Sorry to ruin your thread.
-
Oh Sunny - please dont give up hope yet !
I am so sorry this is happening -
Sending you lots of :stickyvibesgirl:
Thinking of you !
Let us know how you go
xxxooo
-
Sunny
I am praying hard for you  !! I was in same situation just a few days ago, sadly it wasn't the time for us. Mine wasn't brown blood though. Mine was bright red. My OB told me yesterday that he wouldn't have been as concerned if it had been brown. And I had very bad cramping. I have lost nine little  now. I understand the feeling of being lost and not knowing if you can keep going through it. I am living with that now.
I really hope this little bubba sticks for you.
:pray::pray::pray:
-
Sunny big hug and fingers crossed for you sweety xxx
A gf of mine started spotting at about 7 weeks or so but she is goin great still so?? I am partial to the "oh its normal" comments hence I am here...but still, Ive had proof it can be true!
Praying for you anyway :grouphug:
-
:grouphug: Sunny- I know how scary this must be for you at the moment, I have the same fear every day (and I am about to have to start explaining to DH why we are going through so much toilet paper- I check all the time). My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Coco and I both know people who have bled at 7 weeks and their pregnancies are still continuing, so don't lose complete faith just yet.
:stickyvibesboy:

I have a question for everyone...
When you hear of one of our forum buddies going through either spotting during pregnancy, or a miscarriage; do you start having the same emotional feelings you had when you went through it? I do!
Sunny, we're all here for you no matter what xx
-
Oh Sunny, I am saying lots of prayers for you!!! Don't lose hope yet! When I first m/c the first time, one of the first things the doctor asked me is if the blood was red. Brown discharge isn't always a bad sign. I'm really hoping everything is fine with your little one. I'm so sorry you are going through this scare though. Please know that we are all here for you and will be thinking of you and praying for you.
-
Sunny - Oh Sweetie, I am praying everything will be alright for you. Don't give up yet. I also know someone who had bleeding in the early stages and now has a happy, healthy four year old.
-
Sammy!!!! Did you do another test?? :D
