Hi Alice- yes ur right.. we will all be holidng our gorgeous little healthy babies next mothers day xx
Welcome Gemma- ur right. Noone does understand what mc is like unless they have been thru one.. i wldnt have understood 6 months ago either. Whenever the topic comes up with one of my g/fs she just says to me 'be happy that ur body rejected it, obviously something was wrong with it' it makes me so angry!! Its the worse feeling of loss i have ever felt. U start ttc when ur ready, dont worry if other ppl think its too soon.. it may not happen straight away anyway. I wanted to fall the month after mine in feb.. and here i am still waiting for body to sort itself out! It sounds like ur body is being good to u tho.. even better when af leaves u for a full 9 months hopefully in the not too distant future! I hope ur stay here is a short one. Good luck xxx

    Hi Ladies

Wow I'm loving the new look. Purple is my favourite colour. Just a quick one from me as I must be off to get ready for work.

TTCALoveChild - That's so sweet or your neices, nephew and step children. What a lovely gesture.

Well FF put my cross hairs in today and apparently I'm 5DPO already lol. Almost half way through my 2WW. Looks like I O'd the day of my + OPK. Bring on AF!

Yay! new forum for us all to post our BFPs in!!

Porsche- hi, glad you are into your tww, hope AF doesn't show!

Reet- thank god you got your puppy back, what a relief. I could have written the sentences you wrote about thinking something was wrong with my pregnancy and wanting a 6 wk scan, I am also glad too that we will def get one next time! As for your bleeding I think clomid can give mid cycle bleeding, so don't automatically assume its AF, ( I will keep my FX that you don't have to turn up to camping with AF- that would not be funny!) Hopefully the OPK will sort you out in the next few days. I'm not testing, I don't usually test unless I strongly think I am UTD, too disappointing! I'm well into my TWW too and only just got sore boobies so thats weird, usually have them for the full 2 weeks, maybe chinese herbs have kicked in.

TTCALC- hope you had a great Mother's Day, glad you have recovered from your op too! x

Alice- sorry you were feeling sad yesterday, its hard to be upbeat all the time ( esp if you are on a strict diet) so I hope you wake up today and feel better. Don't even get me started on the IVF police checks, we need one from the UK as well, that is a nightmare, they won't even post the application form overseas so have to get it sent to DH's parents house so they can send it on. Its going to take all year at this rate! I'm sure yur eggs will be top notch from your diet, I am taking royal jelly for egg quality, have you heard of this?

Welcome to Gemma, sorry for your loss and that you have to be here, I too would start straight away xx
    to ciara and shelby
good luck loops and enjoy tassie, I love it there
Hi to lovely ladies-murrycod, matthewsmum, kitfaerie, ionamacca, possummagic, craftymum, dory and anyone else I have missed, hope everyone has a great day

    Morning everyone,

Porsche - good luck with the TWW - are you waiting for AF to start so you can get on with IVF or are you hoping she doesn't show?
Reet - hope you get a good 'o' while you are away - I think someone else might have said it'll be a great story to tell your little one later on! Have fun!! (and drive carefully!!) Glad you got your puppy back
Saffy - That sucks about the police checks - as if it isn't hard enough dealing with IVF without that as well. Hope things get moving quickly for you.

AFM, have decided to turn over a new leaf this morning and be more positive about it all. I'm taking DHEA for egg quality but with the delay of starting IVF I'm a bit unsure about continuing as it's almost three months already since I started and I've been told I shouldn't take it for more than four. Maybe royal jelly instead? I'm also trying to figure out whether I should take either Vitex (chaste tree) or Maca. Chinese medicine specialist said Vitex at the same time as her herbs is fine, and I've taken it before and it did help balance my hormones, but looks like Maca might be better so don't know - will have to do some research on that one. If anyone knows anything I'd love to hear from you.

Anyway, I've got an essay to write so best get on with it.

Have a good day everyone - and happy birthday to all the May babies.

    Alice x

Ciara – Hi chook, good to see that you have had other things to keep your mind of (meaning your pt and zumba business. Hope things between your partner and you settle down – this journey can take it’s toll on a relationship especially after a m/c!!

Forshelby – hi and welcome to our group!! Can’t help you in regards to the BCP question haven’t been on that since august etc

Gem – hi and welcome to you to, sorry to hear about your loss but the girls in here are fantastic and so supportive so if you need anything we are all here for you

    Hi Ladies

Saffy - What a big pain in the backside for you. Nothing is ever simple is it? it just makes it all so complicated.

Alice - Hopefully you don't have too much more of a delay to start IVF. We all must have the patience of a saint with all this ruddy waiting we do. If it's not for appointments it's for O, AF or BFP.

I'm secretly hoping for a BFP but I will be happy if AF comes as it means I can start the clomid again. We are only going to do 1 more clomid cycle and then jump into IVF. So we should start the end of June some time. DH leaves for a work course on the 25th July so we really don't have much time to get things sorted. I'm trying to convince DH to skip the clomid beacuse of the short time we have untill he goes. He'll be gone for 7 weeks. I know it's not a long time but it is if your TTC with fertility issues lol.

    Good luck with the essay!

Iona Macca - Yay for a testing buddy!

Morning all - I hope that mothers day wasn't too hard for any of you, although I suspect it may have been. I am a bit like TCCALC - I first thought I was in the wrong place ( with the changes to the eye candy here) and then had to catch up. Phew - can't say I've kept everything in my head to respond to but here goes.

Ciara.e - welcome back sweetie! Good to hear your exercise is still keep you busy. Still no exercise here, but for me, right now, it's a good thing.

Gemma - sweetie - such devastating news to receive at your nuchal scan and to be followed up by even more heartbreak.I am so so sorry for your pain and loss of your angel. if you are ever up to it there is a u-tube clip or video on the trisomy 18 website, or maybe even a blog? It's about Elliot and its called 99 Balloons. It might be a bit too much for you now. I watched it when the spectre of trisomy was raised for me, and whilst I found it so upsetting at the time and still do, I still go back and watch it from time to time. I agree, it's a very rare person who is able to "understand" if they haven't experienced a miscarriage, sometimes I think the hardest part of the journey is to manage our responses to others insensitivity and lack of insight. Wanting to start again straight away is understandable, and if that's how you feel and there are no medical impediments - you go girl!

Murray - I love the phrase if fishing was meant to be easy it would be call catching. Very poignant. Hope you are coping with being a human dart board at the mo.

Reet - glad your furbaby turned up! Way too much anxiety involved with the temporary abscence of a fur baby.

Mathew's mum - I am thinking of you a lot at the moment and how hard it must be. Thanks for thinking of me.

I know there are so many of you that I have missed. Its not intentional, just more a case of a dory moment! Hopefully I get my mojo back and keep up more regularly with what's happening in here. I wish all of you in the 2ww all the best, and for those sufferring through AF - chin up, this cycle is yours, and for those in the 2 week bd'ing - enjoy. I did hear someone mention a marathon...... hehe!

Thankyou so much for thinking of me and the birthday wishes - there have been a few of you who remembered and I can't quite remember who... sorry - I had a really busy start to the week on Tuesday and Wednesday last week and then at then spent Thursday totally spent and Friday at the Dr's for a scheduled appointment at 6.40am! So then the rest of Friday was spent recovering and preparing for a meal out with friends. All good here. Scan was on the same day as my birthday - last Tuesday and it was awesome. Quite anxious beforehand but walking on air afterwards. I was excited, genuinely excited and hopeful for a while, but I can feel now the fear and anxiety starting to settle in again. Oh well, all I can do is work my way through it. I never expected this journey would be easy. Happy birthday to the other bull speakers too - I know its hard to find some positivity with a birthday whilst in grief or tcc, but try to find something special to focus on, because we are all beautiful and strong women.

Bons - Ah it's so hard. Sometimes I would try and "hide" the fact I had tested from DH for that very reason, but me being me, would blurt it out anyway, or leave the "evidence" lying around. Do what feels right for you and what you feel you can cope with. FINGERS crossed.

    Morning all !

    Hello all

Alice so sorry yesterday was hard for you as it was for many, I was blessed with handmade cards and gifts
from my kids and I did think of all my friends on BB that have surffered a loss and were not able to receive such goodies , I am one of the lucky ones I guess that at least have other kids to pass the time in this TTC journedy.
I hope your feeling more positve attitude sticks and you get your IVF started real soon, can't help with the vitex
versus macca question as I have asked it myself so if you get some answers please share them !

Ciara hi there so glad you seem to have sorted out your personnel probs with your partner good to be not
really trying but not really not trying IYKWIM , hopefully a sneaky BFP is around the corner for you soon.

Porsche hope the TWW goes by quickly and you keep busy I know how hard that part of the month is and I
will be in mine too in a few !

Gemma Hi sorry for your loss its so hard when that happens but we all know how you feel and its hard when
those who have not suffered do not understand but we all do on here and we are all here to help any way
we can, give yourself time and get well and soon you can look forward to a BFP again !

Loops did you test again !

Murraycod hope the scan went well and you are packing ready for your trip to Adelaide will be thinking of you
    all this week !

TTCLC glad your feeling better and let us know any news on your tests !

Dory so glad your scan went well I know its a hard road but hey you over the hill now and down the other side and on your way home to a little bundle of joy ! I do understand how hard it is though as I really can't wait to get my BFP in one way but then in another know I will be worried right up till the 26wk mark and more ! pregnangcy is not
always like that I know but when you have suffered loss somehow takes the joy out of it just a little bit !

Ferrals thinking of you girl we nearly in the TWW we did it again and now we got the waiting !!!!

Crafty - you are so right about the gloss being dulled, but still I am so privileged to be in the position I am, IYKWIM. Glad you got a load of goodies - very cool. Any keepers for the pool room? ( the guy from the movie the Castle who always put momentos that were keepers in his pool room, is the reference).

Just in case you are wondering, I have with some trepidation today finally changed my signature, but the change means I can't have my signature on when I post here. I feel a bit awkward actually, as if I am not acknowledging the Sprite, Ameila, Nicholas or Sophie anymore. I know that in my heart I am, I just thought it might be nice for me to also acknowledge where I am at the moment. Still, it's much harder than I thought it might be.

    Afternoon lovely women

Gemma - I'm sorry I missed your post. I don't know anything about Trisomy but sounds like you were faced with some difficult decisions and then to have lost your little one by 15 weeks is heartbreaking. I hope you are healing and finding a way back to TTC shows how strong you are and how much love you have to give. I hope you can get your BFP soon and have a happy and healthy pg.

T- hopes - go the O! Hope this is your month, you're always so positive and upbeat! Hope you had a great hol away.

Dory - so happy to read all is well with you. That's a big step, changing your signature, and you must have done it with a deep breath and a big affirmation. Good for you! Like you say, it doesn't mean you've forgotten your babies, they are still in your heart it's just you are conquering your fear and allowing yourself some space to really be where you are now - which is doing great with this pg! Wonderful news about the scan - hold on to those blissful thoughts whenever you feel the fear settling - they're yours to keep!

Crafty and Ferrals - are you both in the TWW now? Maybe you'll be our first Yah for May girls (and MurryCod too!)

MatthewsMum - hope that flu goes south quick smart and you can get to do your FET. When is AF due? Is it much longer to wait?

Bons - we've been missing you girl! Hope your computer is fixed soon so you can post us your BFP news!! well, let's hope that it's there hiding

Porsche - looks like we'll be Stim Cycle buddies! Yah - was sorry I couldn't join in with MurryCod this month so nice to know I'll have you for June (least I'm hoping that's when I'll be doing it

Iona-Macca!! Is that a BFP coming your way?! Fingers crossed - sounds promising!!

More about me (sorry) - one of the things I hate about this is how inward looking I've become - it just takes up so much mental and emotional space TTC and has been going on for so long that I'm going a little bit nuts with it at the moment (hope you don't mind the me post). I had a really good counseling session today and have made the decision to quit my job til we do our next cycle. The traveling to and from Sydney is killing me and I've gone back to uni (in the vain hope that if IVF doesn't work I can do something meaningful with my life)(I know that sounds cynical but that's how it feels) and just don't feel like I can spend the time on it that I need to. So...going to break the news to DH when he gets home. We've talked about it before but this time I've decided. Something has to give and there's no point doing this strict diet if I'm running myself ragged for no good reason. We can manage on one wage, which is why we moved out of Sydney, so no point pushing on just now, need some time to rest physically and mentally. I'm sure he'll be happy when his wife stops crying and complaining all the time!

I always sign off then remember i've missed someone - sorry!

    alice x

Loops!! This time it was you - have you tested yet?

    Hi Ladies,

As promised, I managed to squeeze in a little bit of reading so I could see what you're all up to. Sorry if I miss a few, there's a lot of information to take in right now! Hopefully it won't be long until I'm into the swing of things.

KitFaerie- CONGRATULATIONS. Hoping everything goes smoothly for you, I have everything crossed. And I know I can't speak for everyone, but please don't leave. Maybe your BFP will rub off on some of us? lol

Loops- Test again! I have a feeling you just might be PG. Dying to know the results, if you do test.

Reet- I'm so so glad your puppy was found. Great news. It's always an awful feeling when one of your furbabies escapes. Mine was waiting for me at the front door after busting out of our yard and I still felt that panic, thinking of what could have happened.

Hi to Alice, Saffy, and Ionamacca, thanks for welcoming me.

AFM, (tmi warning would be appropriate right about now...) AF showed up this morning. Or rather while I was asleep. I hate when that happens. Except this time I was just excited because I can finally call it day 1 and start keeping an eye out for fertile signs. And when I said I didn't think I'd have much of a bleed.... boy, was I wrong or what?! (tmi again) There seems to be so much more than usual, and I am actually aware that AF is here for a change, rather than just feeling completely normal. (yes, I am one of those lucky ones who while on bcp barely notice their period.) That really blew me away though, as I'd only taken the first week of my pills. Don't know where all this blood is coming from. Let's hope it's a good sign that I am strong, and am capable of building a nice snuggly home in there for our baby to be FAST. I'm trying not to go too crazy over all this, because I know the odds of a BFP the first cycle off bcp is pretty low, but still. It's just nice to be trying. And for some reason, I just have 'that feeling' that it won't be long. Don't ask me why, I just feel that way. Could be wishful thinking, but bugger it..... I'm going to enjoy feeling good for a while. It's been so long since I felt this excited about anything.

    Take care, everyone.

I am so sorry for your loss, it must be so hard for you, just remember not to put too much expectation on yourself, and fall back on us if need be XXX
    Take care X

Well, girls thank you all so very much for thinking of me today, it's been a rough one to say the least.
    Scan and bloods done.
The scan shows I have atleast 15follies on each ovary, ranging from 22mm-25mm, (no wonder I can't walk properly) and at least 20 other follies that range from 13-15mm.
Repromed in Adelaide don't do EPU on Wednesdays, so I have to wait till thursday to have EPU.
The nurses in Adelaide rang me the moment they received my scan results, to make sure I'm not in too much pain, they are worried, that the smaller follies will catch up to the big ones over the next 2 days, I won't be able to walk. I am waddling like a constipated duck with a fused spinal cord ATM, DH thinks it's funny, but I'm not laughing at all, it hurts too much!
I have been asked to drink atleast 3 litres of water a day from now untill a couple of weeks, to try hold of OHSS (over stimulation), but they told me that chances of having my Embryo transfer cancelled are very very low, If I keep up the water, and rest as much as possible.
So, protocall has it, that I have to have another Puregon inj tonight (FSH), because no theatre untill Thursday, so chances are that these follies are going to make me spontaneously combust.

Girls, sorry a lot about me tonight, i just feel like I need to let it out, am so uncomfortable and sore, DH is being a sweetheart, but he has no idea what pain I am in, he just giggles at me every time I try to move...Hmph.....
