Sparkles - Good luck with all the BDing. Make sure poor DH does not get dehydrated LOL
Coco- I fell pregnant twice right after starting Vitex. After my M/C I kept taking it but after a few months of no luck I stopped, and the first month off it I fell PG. Go figure. I do think it will help. It got rid of my PMS too.
Ferrals - sounds good so far, I'm so interested to follow your progress.
Bookworm - yeah, I know I need to give him time. It's just a bit annoying that he's so reserved with his excitement yet when the Canucks score he's jumping around whooping it up.
Emmy - Oh that's so funny, I was toying with the same idea. I wanted to get a cherry blossom on my toe. I even went down there to make an appt but they were closed for a month so I put the idea on the back burner for now.
craftymummy - hope the vitex did the trick. My eyes will be glued to this spot for the next 6 days
MathewsMum & Snuggly - sorry about the BFN, it's not over just yet though. i got a BFN and then 2 days later a BFP so you never know.
Hi to everyone else that I have missed.
I'm sitting here trying to decide what to do. There is an H1N1 vaccination clinic tomorrow and we have had a lot of school closures in the area so I had wanted to go. Up until now I was not eligible as I'm not high risk but they now have the unadjuvanted vaccine for PG women and I'm allowed to go if I want......but then I read online that a lot of women miscarried after the vaccines so now I'm scared to go. There are serious risks if I get the virus and serious risks if I get the vaccine. I can't win!
-
Coco-high estrogen can make you ovulate early and it can make your 2nd half of cycle progesterone level low which can cause m/c my E2 was 360 last month and 187 this month thank's to vitex the FS said they like it between 100 and 150 so mine is still a fraction high but ok my natropath said liquid vitex works better as it is absorbed faster i was taking 2.5ml is taste terrible but it worked.
Sparkles-we all have our down days they are hard but they do get less as time goes on i found after Abbi's due date came and went i felt better because it was like i was waiting for it and counting how many weeks i would be ect but now i got past the worst of it i feel a lot better i hope you do to.
Twinsis- its a hard decision to make i feel if the bub is healthy and ment to be you will be ok when i was pregnant i got whooping cough so bad i broke rib's coughing i also had surgery then got a knee infection and pretty much caught everything when i was pregnant and Abbi diddn't want to budge she was happy were she was but when you are pregnant your immune system isnt so good so you can catch everything that is going around if i were you talk to your doctor and them make a decicion.
AFM-had my 3rd injection this morning then went for BT waiting for results to see if everything is ok and i can keep going.
-
Sorry, it seems rude to just come and post about myself when I haven't been very active in the conversations. I do read the posts most days but I don't say much as it just feels I have said all this before.
I had no idea what day to test this month as I seem to have lost a regular cycle. Because I wanted to take some medication not recommended for pregnancy I tested on Monday and Tuesday and got BFN's both times. I started having cramps yesterday so I figured AF was coming. This morning when I was shopping I just didn't feel right. Not exactly nauseous but something close to that so I bought some more pregnancy tests and took one when I got home. I got a very faint BFP but I can't say I feel happy, in fact I felt so sad that I cried. Last time I was pregnant I got the faint BFP like this and it never really got any darker and then I lost the baby just on six weeks. Because this is only faint I fear the same thing is going to happen again. I am going to really try and not test until next Monady and hope like hell to get a dark line.
-
Sammy congrats on the BFP. More then likely your not due for AF yet hence the faint line. I am sure when you test in a few days time it will be nice and dark. you have a sticky bean.
Me I am  this is my last AF before a BFP. I wont be that lucky but gee its so nice to know there is that possibility :dance: unlike the last two cycles. So I am happy right now
Ferrals goodluck. Hopeing the news is fantastic and its all steam ahead for this cycle for you.
-
Sammy no don't be sad, be happy, it's probably just too early for a dark line. My tests are still pretty faint too. Your test will get darker! Congrats on your BFP. I hope to see you in Belly Buddies next week when your line is nice and dark.
-
Congratulations Sammy.
I understand that it is so hard to get excited yet but it will come. The line will get darker and darker this time. Try to stay positive and i wish you all the best for the next 8 months.
Wow 2 BFP's this week.... Keep 'em coming!!!
AFM - Just a little update. Everything is still going along nicely. I;ve had no more spotting for the past 2ish weeks. Im now 13 weeks and having my next scan on Christmas Eve. Hoping to find out the gender and going to have the ultrasound lady write it on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope for dh and i to open Christmas day.
-
Maddison what a lovely idea for a Christmas present for you and your DH.
-
Hi sammy good to hear you have a BFP.
I had my BT got the results my E2 has gone up to 907 so i have to start my orgalutran injections aswell as my puregon to stop me ovulating it is a bit early will be day 4 of stimming the earliest i had heard of was day 5 so i will need about 6 or 7 of those at $90 a needle very expensive i am a bit worried that i will have a lead follicle to big and that will cancel the cycle i have a u/s and BT on monday so i wont know until then.
-
Sammy, congrats!
Sparkles, I'm sorry you've had a tough day. Sending a hug your way. :)
inSis, I had to chuckle at your description of living with hockey fandom. I'm wondering if there's some way you can link pregnancy and hockey to get his interest, but no ideas are coming to mind. DH and I both enjoy the sport, but don't have cable TV and work late. There's an ECHL team in Salt Lake City, but it's definitely minor league stuff.
ferrals, good luck with the process, I'm hoping it all cooperates this time around.
AFM, I'm wondering if timing is going to cooperate this month, as it's O week. I'm hoping things work out, as my OB wants me to see an infertility specialist if we're not pregnant by January. It'd be less hassle to have it all happen naturally.
-
maddison - glad to hear all is going well. Nice idea to find out eh sex on Christmas Day. We've decided not to find out but I still like your idea.
ferrals - I'm on pins and needles for you!
Bookworm - Yeah maybe I should have taken him to a hockey game and had it announced on the big screen huh? LOL Good luck in catching your egg this week. Hoping you can avoid the FS if possible.
Not much going on here. I skipped the vacc clinic today in favour of waiting until after I talk to my Dr on Thursday. I"m pretty sure I'm not going to get it though.
-
Morning all,Sparkles-Good luck with the new approach...Sammyp-Congratulations,hope when the line gets darker you'll feel reassured...Maddison-Great idea for crissy day...Ferrals-good luck for Monday...afm-af came this morning,so start the clomid soon .
-
Sammy thats great news about your BFP, dont feel rude about coming in and posting about you. We love to hear your news. As twinsis said your line is prob very faint because AF is not yet due. Hopefully when you test on monday it will be a nice dark line. Im sure it will take time for you to get excited but hopefully this is a H&H pregnancy for you :happyforyou:
Ferals that is great news about the IVF, wow it is quite expensive all those needles and stuff but i have a good feeling that it will be all worth it in the end for you :crossfingers:
Maddison so glad to hear everything is going well. I love the idea of the sex being put in an envelope to open for xmas, that is so special
Bookworm hopefully the timing is on your side this month and you dont have to see the FS
Emmy glad to hear your happy, it would be so nice to not have AF for another 9months, heres hoping for all of us
Sparkles sorry to hear your having a hard time at the moment, hope your feeling a little better today. I like the "quantity not quality" thing, hope that works for you.
Coco good luck with the Vitex, hopefully it does the trick and :happybirthday: Hope you have a lovely day!
Craftmummy how is the TWW going? Im trying not to think about it so as not to analyse every little sign or sympton. Hopefully we can both post a BFP next week
Hello to everyone else i have missed and hope everyone has a great weekend
AFM not too much happening. DP came home last night and he should be home for quite a while now, just working locally so that will make the whole TTC a lot easier. Heres hoping we dont need to though and that i can get a BFP next week :crossfingers:
-
matthewsmum must have posted at the same time. Sorry to hear AF arrived this morning but good luck with the clomid, hope it does the trick for you
-
Bookworm- i'd say after falling pregnant naturally 6 times ivf is very demanding and stressful i am on egg shells the whole time but if that's what it takes to get our healthy baby then we have to give it a go you wont know until you try i hope you wont need to though.
Twinsis-good idea talk to your dr 1st that will put your mind at ease.
Mathewsmum-sorry AF turned UP.
Elislouise-a BFP would be nice next week.
hello to everyone hope your having a good weekend.
AFM-i did a lot of reading on other forums about women starting orgalutran early and actually most start on day 5 or 6 and my E2 level of 907 is fine there are ladies who have had day 3 E2 levels of 1300 and over so i am right on track and responding well my FS is just being cautious and starting me on it early as i ov early in a natural cycle so i feel much better now but will be happy when i have my U/S on monday and i see good big fat follies i am getting bloated now cant do up my pants it is uncomfortable but not painful at all.
-
BFNs and no AF yet! Sigh!
In good news though, if it hasn't happened this cycle, then we are officially TTC now! We figured that we can get away with it in Japan, and we could get around my next blood test. So I'm pretty happy with that.
BUT I wish I knew what my body was doing!? Testing again tomorrow. And every day til AF turns up or get a BFP! Will run out of internet cheapies soon, seriously never thought that would happen!
-
Snuggly that must be so frustrating not knowing whats going on. When was/is AF due. Im keeping my fingers crossed for you that it is BFP and not AF, weve had 2 already and they have to come in 3's so your next :)
Ferals those levels are sounding great, good luck with the U/S on monday hope it shows some nice big fat follies for you, no good about the bloating though, just getting you prepared for not being able to do up your pants for the next 9 months
AFM just waiting, waiting, waiting no signs either way really. Boobs were feeling a little tender this morning but that could mean that AF is on her way so not getting my hopes up. Might try and hold out till the end of the week and if AF hasnt showed up by then ill test.
Hope everyone has had a good weekend
-
Mathew's Mum - I'm sorry to hear AF came this morning. I hope this next round of clomid does the trick
elise - Yay to DP being home for awhile. Fingers crossed for next week.
Snuggly - That's frustrating not knowing what's going on. i still have everything crosed for you.
Ferrals - still following your IVF journey with great interest. Hope it goes well
-
So, if these things come in threes then we are waiting for one more! Who is testing soon?
Of course I couldn't hold out until Monday. I didn't have any tests in the house and I felt I was going mad so I made DH drive down and buy some. I was almost terrified to look but the second line was visible almost from the beginning and it's about 75% of what the control line is but that's far darker than any test I got with the last pregnancy. I am feeling the first glimmer of hope that this might be my sticky baby.
I'm still going to hang around here for a bit longer if that's alright by everyone. I think it will take a bit longer before I have some faith that this will all turn out well.
-
Congrats to SammyP and Twin Sister!!! Crossed everything for you both!! :leap:
Keep positive everyone else... our turn will come soon. :crossfingers:
AFM... I'm still waiting for AF (CD50) but my cycles are long. I have had a few signs of her arrival but nothing yet. My boobs have been more sore than normal, but nothing like when I was PG, and cramping more than normal. And I have been super cranky! I did a HPT and first of all it came up BFN but after about 30mins (I had to check again just in case)..... the second line was there. But I'm not very hopeful as I know you can only read the tests for about 10mins after you tested. Wish AF would arrive so I can take a stronger dose of clomid and hubby is looking forward to it!
-
looppylouie the HPT could be correct, i know it says to read them only for 10 mins but when i tested with my last pg i checked it after about half an hour or so and i had a second line and it was a positive. Have you got anymore tests you could do? You could be our lucky third, fingers crossed for you
Sammy thats excellent news about the second line being darker now, feel free to hang in here for as long as you need, we would love to hear how your journey goes :stickyvibesgirl:
AFM Pretty sure af is on her way, have been so cranky and emotional all day today, have been snapping at dp about everything and i feel terrible about it. He asked me earlier what was wrong and i just broke down crying and told him that i just want to be pregnant now. He was really good and said lets go and lie down and he just held me for half an hour. Made me feel a little better but still thinking af is coming so im not going to waste any tests and just wait it out.
Talk soon
-
Loopielouie and Eliselouise - I dunno, I think either of you could quite possibly be next in line for a BFP. All my positive early HPT tests took up to or more than 10 mins to become visible. All the negative ones NEVER changed at all no matter how long I waited. Also, being cranky and bursting into tears are sure pregnancy signs for me. I cried in a movie last night that wasn't even anywhere near sad. The problem with AF symptoms are that they mirror pregnancy symptoms so closely.
-
Hello to everyone, sorry no persies really, just got bacK from syd and Im zonked. Had an AWESOME birthday!!!
Went to The Ivy for dinner (Ivy is a totally pretentious place where the likes of socialites & celebs hang out...) and had japanese & drinks and then went to Oxford St and danced and drank more and went back into the hotel (we stayed at vibe was nice!!) and then drank more apparently...and apparently ordered room service according to the extra plate in the room this morning.. lol
SO much fun!! I dressed up and I felt reeeeeeally pretty & secksy!
I bought an outfit for my birthday, I went to Myer and got a dress by Wish, they had all dresses by Wish for $100 so this dress originally was $170 and I had a $30 voucher so only paid $70 :D Also got reeeeeeeeally gorgeous smart sexy black heels for $80 by Collection...I think its a new label..but they're amazing!!!!
Note* I LOVE SHOES.
Thanks for my birthday messages ppl :D Woo!!
So my FS is calling me tomorrow and we're going to start IUI. Not sure when..Im on CD4 so dont know whether it will be this cycle or not.. And also, both DH & I are going to a natropath tomorrow to talk about the vitex and whatever else and hopefully Ill have a christmas gift this month :crossfingers:
My bunnies (AF) only went for 2 days and wasnt paticularly heavy. Very strange....had bad cramps on thurs night but not the crazy amount of blood that is usual for a period...thoughts?
-
Hmmmm, coco.... my thoughts are inconclusive, but m inner detective is very curious! Glad you had an ace birthday. Also excited for the start of your IUI journey.
I'm still waiting. Only have two tests left, so will have to try and sort out some more!
-
Hi ladies
I am still lurking on my TWW and will wait until friday at least before I test so eliselouise that will be my testing day as don't want to get my hopes up just yet,

-
Well.... I did a second test like Eloiselouise suggested and another faint second line appeared after about 10mins this time. It wasn't the first toilet stop in the morning, I did it at work. I even bought it home for DH to look at to see if I was seeing things and him being male, said that he counld only see a dot at the bottom :wall: Men!!!! What do I do now?? Wait a week or so or do I make an appoinment with my FS or Dr straightaway? I'm just worried with 3 past m/c that it will happen again.
I hope there are more than 3 Positives this month..... November will be the lucky month!!
-
Hi girls.... didn't test this morning, so over it! Temp has dropped today, and I am the crankiest old cow ever, so I have a feeling someone is on the way! I wish she'd at least be on time!
Kind of exciting though, cos now we're embarking on a proper TTC cycle :D Yaaaay!
-
hello
Congratulations SammyP and loopylouie:dance:
snugglybean keep your fingers crossed, you never know...
Matthew's Mum good luck with this cycle
eliselouise85 hopefully AF stays away
hello to everyone else especially those in the 2WW (craftymummy and tanya)
hope you are feeling well Twin Sister
ATM i am having a down day, trying to make a decison as to whether I resign from one of my jobs so that I can be less stressed and prepare myself for getting pregnant again. I am CD 11 and as OPK's never work for me have no idea when I am going to ovulate- am so annoyed as my body is still all over the place and no sending me any signs
Let's hope November brings us all BFPs
-
hi guys!
sorry about the total lack of personals right now, there is waaaay to much to try and catch up on lol
Congrats to the BFP's!!! and good luck to you ladies in the TWW
i am sorry i havent been around, i have been trying to get myself out of this little rutt i seem to have got stuck in, im trying to be kind to myself and all these birth/ pregnancy announcements Hurt so much.
I am almost 100% that i O'ed yesterday!! and we got there int time ROFL so i guess that makes me in the TWW too!!we might just have to have another try tonight just to make sure :P
i am really really hoping that this is our month... if i get pregnant next cycle, the baby would be due on Kyarna's birthday :( the exact date. anyway i am back now and i will do personals next time ( going to start fresh lol)
hope you are all having a good day!!
-
LoopyLouie - It's looking very promising! Fingers crossed for you.
Greencake - I'm sorry you are feeling so down. I think stress levels do play a part. Do you need to work two jobs? It could help to give yourself a breather. I did acupuncture this cycle and I did feel a bit less stressed and more positive.
EliseLouise - I am holding my breath for you. Is the end of the week you test?
-
Afternoon all
Loopylouie YAY how exciting about seeing the second line again. Personally i would wait at least a few more days and test again but if you need to put your mind at ease maybe you could make a drs appt and have a BT done there. Good luck either way and i hope that 2nd line gets darker
Craftmummy good luck with testing on friday, glad to hear that your keeping yourself busy so as not to stress about it too much
mummyof4 sorry to hear your stuck in a rut, YAY to ovulating yesterday and yewah i would bd again tonight just to be sure
Greencake sorry to hear your having a down day. Maybe you would be less stressed if you cut back to just one job and it may make the TTC journey easier. Good luck on making a decision, its a tough one
Snugglybean hope AF stays away for you, when is/was she due?
Matthewsmum good luck with the clomid and the recognition of life certificate sounds just beautiful for your little angel
Tanya good luck with the wait for ovulation, hope its not too stressful for you
Coco so glad to hear you had a lovely weekend, good luck with seeing your naturopath this week, and good luck with starting the IUI.
AFM well i caved and tested this arvo and no surprises BFN. I was feeling a little nauseus and funny in my tummy this morning at work so i thought id test and if it was BFP it would lift my mood, but no such luck. SO then i went for a walk and got home to a phonecall from DP telling me that his sister had been hit by a car in melbourne and is in an induced coma because of a bleed on her brain. Its even more worrying too because shes just had 5 or 6 lots of brain surgery to stop her epilepsy and had complications with that. She is only 15 yrs old and has been through way too much, but we know shes a fighter and will pull through it. So im not going to whinge anymore and think about her and how much shes been through.
-
Oh EL!! That is just awful! I hope she pulls through very quickly :( (((hugs)))
-
Hi girls congratz loopie louie and sammyP and twinsis that makes three i hope you have left room for the rest of us to join you.
Eliselouise-sorry to hear about your SIL i hope she will be ok.
Sorry for not doing persies to everyone i am so tired have worked some late nights and had to be up early for BT and U/S but i got todays results my E2 is 3005 so still a little high but ok to continue i have 21 follicles which is good but only 7 or 8 of those are big enough to to make it to EPU if i'm lucky one or two more might catch up in time but they doubt it as the others are getting quite big anyway have to have another BT and U/S wed to see whats happening so i am happy all is going well i would have liked more bigger follicles as we need a lot of eggs for PGD testing.
Hope everyone is well talk to you soon.
-
OMG Eliselouise, sorry to hear about your SIL hope she is ok. I am sending you and your family well wishes
-
eliselouise85 hope your sil is doing ok. that is a lot to go through at only 15. keep us posted.
congrats SammyP on your bfp :)
Looppylouie hope your test was correct, hopefully you can test again soon and the 2nd line will be there quicker.
snugglybean sounds like you have decided to ttc for real now. must be so exciting. hope it doesn't take you long.
greencake i'm with you there, i have no idea what is happening with my body either. had d&c 4 weeks ago today. i hate being in limbo. might help if you do resign from one of your jobs. must be stressful for you, so would take away some stress.
~mummyof4~ stop posting and get bding!!! ;) hope this is your month
ferrals - 7 or 8 seems enough for pgd. what are the chances they would be affected? is it 25% that would mean still enough left to implant :crossfingers:
afm i had my ultrasound done today and the lady said it all looked fine. i've had bleeding on and off, and it's now brown stuff (sorry tmi) so i'm hoping this is good, as it means it's only old stuff now. i think the same is happening to me as it did to you craftymummy :) i did have heavier bleeding at the end of last week which may have been af, as i also got my bad skin and a migrane to go with it. which is the usual hormonal things i get at that time of the month.
and i also went and bought some nature's own pms essentials, as they contain the vitex as well as other stuff to regulate hormones. just hope this works.
-
Eliselouise- I am sorry to hear about your SIL, i hope she pulls thruogh quickly.
Ferals- bugger about the scan but it is good news that your levels are still ok to continue :fingerscrossed: some more grow a little bit for you!!
I have a question...
how long after you ovulate is it possible to still get pregnant... i know i should know this stuff but i just dont lol
Does anyone get ovulation pain? what does it feel like??
-
think we posted same time mummy of 4. i think the egg only lasts for 24 hours once it has been released but i'm sure people have stories of it lasting longer. and i do get ovulation pain, usually in one side and just feels like a dull ache for the day. hth x
-
SPF-7-8 is ok at EPU but when you think not 100% fertilise and then not all will make it to day 5 blast and then not all will survive the PGD test and then you need uneffected ones 8 doesnt leave much for the drop off in numbers but i am trying to be positive we only need one to be uneffected and make it to transfer but i hope a few more catch up in the next few days i would like a t least 2 at the end for peace of mind.
-
Whew I only missed one day online and look at all these posts to catch up on. DS is going to wake soon so I'll keep it short
Sammy - yay to a darker HPT line. I really do think this one's going to be sticky!
loopy - ooooh I hope the line gets darker and comes up sooner in a few days. None of my negative tests ever showed up anything after 10 minutes so I'm thinking it is most definitley a BFP. Congratulations!
Elise - I'm so sorry to hear about your DP's sister, i really hope she pulls through it ok. Your Dp sounds very supportive and caring. I'm very emotional right now too so i think you still have a good chance. Fingers crossed.
Coco- Happy Belated Birthday. Sounds like you had a really fun night out, i'm glad.
Snuggly - still waiting for your good news.
crafty - glad to hear you are keeping busy, nothing like waiting to drive you crazy
Tanya - good luck this cycle
Mathew's mum - Aw, Im glad your Recognition of Life Certificate turned out nice
Green cake - if you are feeling stressed then i would def resign fomr one of your jobs if youa re able to. As for ovulation, can you trakc your temps to find out when you are ovulating? If not just start BDing like crazy and hopefully you will catch it.
mummyof4 - that would be kind of cool if your next baby was due on the same date as your daughter.
ferrals - wow this IVF stuff is a lot more complicated than I realized. Here's hoping some more follicles catch up!
SPF - glad the U/S showed all was well. Hope the Vitex sorts you out quickly.
AFM - not much going on here. Trying really hard not to tell everyone who will listen until at least 8 weeks or so (once I have past the 6 week mark I will feel a bit better) Few more days to go until i see my Dr.
