Ok just spoke to the head scientist he said our numbers are standard for day 3 of our 4 good embies they are grade 1 and 2 so he is happy he said of the 8 eggs he would expect us to have 4 good ones on day 3 so he told me not to worry and it is scarey but everything is going normally.
ferrals-sorry the news is half and half,still sounds positive for 4 them,hang on to that.
Ferrals my darling be positive girl youre almost there. Allow yourself to be happy babe, I understand it's hard, but youre there, the cup is half full X
I know youre scared to be let down, but you should let that wall down and celebrate the good bits of the news you get. Worry about being sad when you have to, you don't have to yet, if at all X enjoy your frustrating journey, because ATM it is totally out of your controll.

DH and I were meant to be doing IVF through REPROMED in Mildura JanFeb next year, well I got a phonecall from Adelaide repromed, and they have a cancellation this month and wanted to know if we would like to start treatment as soon as I get my AF!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course I screamed and cried YES!!! (and since it is in this year I get to have the current medicare rebate, not next years expensive one):clap:
My appt with Repromed scientist is next Thurs in Adelaide, he wants to put me on the pill for 2weeks as soon as AF arrives so Im not due for egg collection at Xmas time cuz they closed, but just after.
I am not going to sleep for nights on end I'm so darn excited!!!!!

Craftymummy sorry about you inconsiderate friend. It is upsetting what some people say hurtful things especially when they have no idea how you are feeling.
ATM I am going to resign from my second job this morning- am a bit nervous after 6 years this is a big deal. Am also on CD 23 so four days to testing, I have held of so far, let’s hope I can keep to it.

Murrycod-fantastic news as long as you pick up meds this year or start the pill for a cycle even if you dont start injections til jan it is regarded as 2009 by medicare so a lot cheaper and feel free to ask away i will help as much as i can to make the process a lot easier for you and maybe help with all the mumbo jumbo.

Thanks to all for the well wishes tomorrow is D-DAY we find out if any of my 4 embryos have made it to blastocyst stage and if they are of good enough grade to withstand the testing they should be ready by the arvo but some take a little longer and it's early day 6 that they are ready i have decided to stay away from the computer until i have an answer either way as this is nerve racking stuff and i need to keep busy with other things i will say if my embies are no good for transfer i know it is not the end of the road as we are fertile we can still get pregnant the natural way and hope we get lucky with an uneffected baby so wish me luck cross all your fingers and toes and pray i have some good news over the weekend.

Afm well im on day 9 so will be getting the opk sticks out really soon, had some good news yesterday we are just about to start building our own home went to the pre-start meeting yesterday and chose all the things we want bricks ,roof and door handles and everything can't beleive after 6 mnths we are finally being given the chance to own our own home so IM thinking NEW HOUSE, NEW BABY :crossfingers: its not anything really special but we have to have 5 bedroooms for all my brood and it will be our home we won't have to move again !

yesterday at CD24 i started light red and brown spotting (sorry TMI). I tested (just in case -) had a cry and then thought AF would start (3 -4 days early!), however I have only very light spotting to date.
If I was optimistic I would think implantation bleed, however I am not. I know it is my body punishing me all over again :doh:
why or why can't my stupid body get back into some routine after the m/c? It seems intent on reminding me and punishing me over and over. Sorry for my rant, its hard to express these feelings in the real world, and I know you all understand.

I'm 41, had a stillborn son @37 weeks in Feb, fell again in Sept but after seeing a heartbeat at 6 weeks had to have a d&c at 9 weeks, 8 days ago.

Hello to everyone else. I've been quiet lately and working way to much.
I am in my first 2WW since July. So exciting. Would love a BFP in less then 2weeks but I doubt I will get one. I am just so excited to be ttc again. The wait was horrible.

Currently on CD 13, DH coming home tomorrow night.
We are off to Sydney next weekend, for the family Christmas (we don't do Dec 25th, as its too hard to get all the siblings in one city!) Mum doesn't have room for us to stay, and plenty of friends and family are offering to have us, but our main criteria is whether or not we can :tmi: baby dance while we're there! :rofl:

Whats happened to all our luck in this thread seems we are all on a bad run and i think my DH and i must have run over a china man cause someone upstairs certainly does not want us to have a baby our one good healthy beautiful looking embryo was biopsied this morning and was found to have the same genetic fault that abbi did so i cant believe that it has now happened twice we are supose to have a 75% chance of an uneffected baby well that make 2 now so i feel absolutely shattered 7 months of waiting for nothing so now we have to put our faith and trust in mother nature and try the natural way and pray 3rd time lucky thanks for your thoughts and wishes.
Ferrals- i am so sorry to hear your news hun.. i know that nothingi can say will make you feel any better right now, but just know taht wea re all thinking of you and praying that mother nature lets you have you earth baby soon.
Ahhh, ferrals, I'm sorry to hear that it was a no-goer. So you're proceeding with mother nature now? Can you go out and build up your karma or something? Like go and volunteer for something, or donate some money somewhere - I don't know if it would work for you, but I always feel that when I am kind to the universe it might be kind back. We'll see how that looks in two weeks time, hey?

Snugglybugs DH and I had a very unplanned big night out last night and I had to work thismorning with quite a nasty hangover. (our ward has literally turned into a Nursing Home ATM not one patient under the age of 75.....man did i have have some trouble in the showers today :spit:) Every time a buzzer went of I knew it was someone needing a bedpan, I hid all day :hiding:

Greencake sorry your a bit down I know how you feel my body took sooo long to get back to normal after my MC in early sept I am only now back in the swing of it thanks to the vitex I think as since taking it my cycle has returned to normal but no BFP as yet but we have to stay positve and beleive in our bodies they know what is best for us.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes re my resignation. My boss was very surprised and tried to talk me out of resigning, however once I said my heart wasn’t in it he accepted it with regret.
Also, sorry for my rant yesterday:redface:. I have had a strange couple of days; very light brown and pink spotting sat and sun, a little this morning.
I need to go to the toilet all the time. I still remain cynical; I do not think it is my month. I think it is DPO 11 or 12 today, so I am holding out till tomorrow to test again (:bfn:on Sat), unless offcourse AF beats me to it.

Greencake......hmmmmm.....if you don't have full flow by the end of the working week I'd be getting a BT just to make sure. Those evil sticks make TTC more of a cat and mouse game, even when they say NEG I won't beleive it and say it's faulty!

This is the first month in about one year that I have not had any urge to buy a PeeStick and use it, only being that I know waste of time. DH said to me, what if you don't get your AF??? I just replied, after all these years (apart from that once anyway) after the 3 IUI's and all of the natropath and accupuncture treatments, why this month??? Impossible.
Oh and Crafty, no hair of the dog for me sweetheart, that was well and truly my last hooraa, (my tounge felt like I had dog hair on it though yesterday if that counts!)

reading them and i always see 2 lines in there, when i used them last
month, i thought i "O"ing....lol....i am just clueless about them.
if you are an expert, shed some light to me as well, as, i dont want to
miss again to become pregoo and really want to use them. Hope you get
+ve and and then +ve again in 2 weeks (that would be awesome for Dec).
I haven't used them this month as last month my AF was the longest one and
i dont know no. of days in my cycle, so i am taking it easy.

ATM - with me, nothing special or exciting...did worked all week last week and it was
too tiring, was leaving early to work and coming late home (7:40 to 6:30). so
relaxed in the weekend, didnt checked net as well, but not alot of work this
week, which is good.

Ric hi nice to hear from you again, with the opk sticks I have been told to test in the afternoon around 3 to 4pm I have a 28 day cycle and start testing on day 11 and normally get a faint line but the next day the test line is darker than the control line so its a definate surge for me but if your cycles are all over the place then maybe go back and try to get an average cycle length to work out what day to test,
Matthews mum I always wait until my line is darker than the one that tells you the test has completed so fingers crossed yours is darker today and watch out DH !

Ferrals how you doing ? been thinking of you, I have a son who was born with a genetic condition although he is well now he had a really bad first 2yrs of his life and we had genetic counciling and were told a 1 in 4 chance of it happening again and we have had 4 healthy kids since he was born but I have MC inbetween so I am guessing its natures way for us, Goodluck with trying naturally I think you made the right choice and have faith and you will be ok.
AFM just waiting to opk tomoro but think I will probably o around thurs so just wondering which will be the best day to catch that egg ( if there are any around this month ) Anyone got some good advice as to which days to :bd: as don't want to over do it and miss out !

i say mine were used to be 28 days on the dot, now there is a dot, but days before the dot have changed lol...i am finding my cycles a joke now....hope they return to normal asap

I use the paper that came with my opk kit as a guide but have always O around day 14 so start opk around day 11 as it only predicts the LH surge which happens 24 to 36 hrs prior to Ovulation so try from day 12 and see how you go but do in the afternoon after lunch, why not give VITEX a try seems to have worked for me in getting my cycles back on track ! you can get the tablets at any good health shop.
Think I will take your advise and try tues,thurs and fri fingers crossed I catch that egg !
Hello to everyone, no time for persies today as im just about to head off to work but thought that if i didnt post i may be forgotten in the back stalls with so many of us in here now :lol:
Had my sisters wedding on the weekend and while i had a good day i was constantly thinking about how the dress shouldnt have fited me because when i bought it i was going to be 7 months pg and not fitting in at all. Thought i was coping ok and holding it together for everyone but when i went to leave i said goodbye to my fam and i just lost it, burst into tears and had to leave the room. Felt really silly but just couldnt hold it back anymore. I think ive just been bottling it up for so long and i needed to get it out. My sister was brilliant, she gave me a huge hug and told me that everything would be ok and that if i need to talk shes always there.
So anyway thinking of going to speak top someone but not sure if i want to or not, find it hard to explain my feelings so think it might be pointless. Maybe i could just go to a naturopath and get something to de-stress me because i think im superstressed at the moment. Any ideas from anyone what im best to do??

Hi ladies my FS rang me today and said she would be happy to do a back to back cycle as soon as AF turns up to get in before the new year she said i stimulated really well and is very happy with my ovaries and that i would not be at risk of OHSS and its up to me what i want to do what do you think? i said i would not do another cycle in the new year because pricing would be way out of our league $12,000+ per cycle but if we can get one more in this year i dont know what to do .

AFM - EDD time - I have been feeling really emotional and fragile. :( And just a bit peeved that no-ne seems to get it. I want to scream "you do the math, you were also at the hospital!!" but I didn't :(
FS wants to leave IVF till Feb now, not Jan - and so I am going to do a couple of months on clomid. AF is due in a couple of days (I had a month off charting this cycle), so I start clomid sometime next week.
OK, tomorrow is a new month, so next month there will be LOTS of BFPs on this board, there has to be!
