Nickster - Congratulations!! Welcome to the word little man! What a much-loved little bubba you are!

Tina - Whoo hoo! How smart am I?! Hehehe. I don't know why... but I just always pictured you dressing up your little one in pink. Then there was the fairy costumes, the tiaras, the playing with mummy's makeup... I hope it was a very happy surprise for you and your DH!

Hannah - Yup, little chyan is a little show-off already hehehe. I'm trying to convince myself mentally that the m/s is going away in the hopes that it will physically happen

WTH - You will definitely live up to your name sweetheart. Plus you are always reminding everyone else in here to hold hope too!

Jenushka - I saw your copious spreading of babydust and stickyvibes too Hmmm, I wonder what a "gold" post is? I've never heard of that...

Angel roids - Hmmm... that makes it sounds like you have a little "number 2" bathroom problem, lol! Ummm... hi

Jen - Thanks for jumping into the chat room last night after I was alone for an hour and a half in there! I thought you'd all abandoned me! Lol!

PS. Look who got all fat and stuff in their avatar!!! I loved my old purple top, but couldn't modify it nicely enough with a preggy belly (me and my perfectionist issues). So instead I decided to show off the fat-ness in all it's glory. Ummm, despite the fact that as yet Little Chyan is being very shy and hasn't even made the slightest hint of a bump, lol!

jenushka--I also saw your first post before it was deleted... you're still first as far as I'm concerned! I never realized you couldn't comment on being first either, so good to know! Thanks for blessing the new thread! And YAY for the reassurance of m/s!

mollycat--I hope you have more than one bathroom! I have this mental image of you straddling the toilet with your feet on the walls, praying you don't either fall into the toilet, or into the black hole of what used to be the bathroom floor! Obviously you aren't doing anything fun this weekend... don't work yourself too hard--or you'll be hearing me saying, "see, I told you so!" *wink wink*

Hannah--Sometimes you have to have a meltdown to hit rock bottom in order to make your way back up to the top again. There's only one way to go once you've hit the bottom! I'm so proud of you for holding that little newborn.... you're amazingly strong--I hope you realize that! *hugs* What a trooper you are--ready to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get on with things! Good for you!

Really interesting about the high risk scores/year of the rat theory.... I truly believe that astrology plays a major role in interpreting what's going on in our lives. I don't necessarily mean that everyday when I read my horoscope I can see how it relates to my life, because most of the time it seems to not even apply to me! But I definitely believe that the position of the planets/sun/moon affects the way a person behaves.... and history has shown how accurate the Mayan's were in their prediction of world events through reading the stars. Maybe you're right, maybe for you astrologically the Year of the Rat isn't your year--saying lots of for your success during the Year of the Ox!

WTH--You always live up to your name! When all else fails, there's ALWAYS hope!

tut--Here's what it says about the date given being during AF: "Interestingly, it doesn't matter with which stage in the woman's hormonal cycle this Lunar Conception moment will coincide. If it will coincide with the ovulation, very well, the probability of conception will be very high. But even if this moment will coincide with the menstruation, fertility at such time will be very high too." They've pretty much done away with the risk factor, because some that were given a high risk score turned out fine, while others with a low score had children with anomalies.... they now say it has to do with "the birth cosmogram of the mother and the conception cosmogram of the child both show a pattern of unfavorable influences, there is an indication of poor viability of the offspring. If the conception cosmogram for the child is not well aspected, but the mother's own cosmogram is favorable, the negative influences are overcome to a certain degree."

So who knows.... unfortunately I didn't get to test his theory this month as expected.... well, kind of... we DTD on the right day, but it's supposed to be 24 hours prior to date given, so it was before the 24 hour timeframe. November tells me I'll have a boy, December a girl....

Angel--Glad to hear the meds are doing their job! Yay for being able to sleep in a horizontal position! Continue getting better! *hugs* *kiss*

Krystie--Woo hoo, look at that sexy belly! *whistling* Whenever I see the word "roids" my fist thought is hemorrhoids, not steroids!

Mannie--Congratulations! Saying loads of for a healthy, happy, sticky bean! Sending lots of your way!

Mannie - congratulations. Hopefully you're the first of many for the new thread.

Jen - yep, we've still got the new bathroom to use. I've actually done very little (except get in the way), lug old floor boards out and get in the way.

Krystie - I always was pretty flat until about 16-17 weeks. Could hide it almost forever. You'll catch up to your avatar pretty soon.

Guess what? DF just pierced my nose! Tomorrow I'm going to get a smaller stud (and I'm not referring to DF ) because right now it's sticking out a little too much for my liking. I saw some the other day that were tiny, tiny... barely noticeable... that's what I want. I think I like it, except for the size... but it kinda hurt! When I get the new one tomorrow, I'll take a pic and put it in the gallery!

Thanks Jen, Jenushka, mollycat, AJC, Plc, I did another test this morning just to make sure and def a BFP, thank you God. I'm slightly spotting but that happened with the first one, however with the first one I didn't get a positive test til over a week after I was due with AF, so here's hoping this is a sticky one...thankyou for your prayers I'm praying all the way with this one too and I too hope this is a lucky thread and I've just started the trend!!!! You go girls, I don't want to be on my own...lots of babydust to you all..

    Hi Ladies,

Im soooooo sorry it has been so long between posts for me, uni work has been driving me nuts...literally! The other day I had a little break down and nearly quit everything. I wasnt coping very well in the classroom I had been put into, not so much with the kids, they are great and I feel confident about the way I teach, its just all the planning and everything, I thought I had everything under control, but my mentor teacher was so disconnected from it all...she has a lot of stressful things going on in her life, and I felt like I shouldnt have been there. But....it was all sorted out with the help of the uni liason and now things are much better...phew! I think after all the stuff that has been happening this year with the ttc journey, my coping mechanisms were not in top gear. I felt like I just needed to run away...like doing that would make me forget it all. But...reality is, that doesnt help...you just have to keep going!!! So that is what im doing. Im 6 months away from finishing uni and I think DH and I have decided (finally) to try IVF next year, so Jan is when it all begins....I think!

Mannie - Congratulaions... for a happy and healthy pregnancy for you.

Jenushka - Congrats to you darlin'. I think your zen like approach is the best way to go. My thoughts and are with you hun, and I wish you all the best with your pg'cy. Well done lovely!

Krystie - Glad to hear everything is going well with you and your little one .

Tina - Congratulations on finding out your having a little princess

Ruthie - Glad your'e back hun. I wish you all the luck in the world for your ttc journey.

Nickster - CONGRATULATIONS ON THE ARRIVAL OF ZACHARY...WELCOME TO WORLD LITTLE MAN!

Jen - Thankyou so much your very sweet comments...your'e a darling! I have sooooo much respect for you to hun....you are the glue that holds this thread together. You are always here for everyone, cheering them on and comforting us all when we're down. You have time for everyone, and always make the effort to help everyone in here feel as though they belong. You're amazing girl....dont ever change hun...you're an angel!
BTW - I had my nose pierced about 8 years ago, I had it done with the gun so it didnt hurt very much, but they did put in a HUGE ugly stud, so as soon as I got home, I took it out and put in a much smaller one. I dont wear it anymore, I took it out when DS was born, but I sooooo wish I hadnt, cause the hole for it has closed over now.

Special hello to WTH, mollycat, AJC, PLC, Angel babies, tutmae and everyone else I have missed here is a for all of us!

    Hi everyone,

Just a quick post from me today, have been delaying doing this....but AF showed up this morning Not really unexpected based on the fact that I have had a headache for the last 2 days, but very unwelcome nevertheless. Anyway, I'm straight back into another IVF cycle, start sniffing tomorrow and injecting the day after. Here's hoping for a better result this time around.....

Sorry for the shocking lack of personals, will be back soon to do some when I feel a bit more in the mood Hope everyone is having a nice weekend anyway....

Hello all - wishing everyone lots of luck and for this new thread.

Mannie - congratulations on your - that is wonderful news. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy.

AFM: Very grumpy this weekend. Day 38 of cycle and AF showed up. Not really unexpected since had a BFN on day 35 but had a little bit of hope that I might have been pregnant. Good news is that now can get started on next IVF cycle - my first frostie transfer. I think blood tests start in about 10 days. Will keep you posted. Had one of those days when just about every female I saw out looked pregnant or had a baby in a pusher. Some days it doesn't affect me but today was one of those days - just wanted to cry.

Ruthie glad to see you back on-line.
Sorry for lack of persies - don't mean to be selfish - still getting to know you all. My thoughts and wishes are with you all though

    Hi everyone,

Good to see the new thread has started with positive vibes - Congrats to all those who have - hopefully that is a sign of things to come.....

Well, settling in for the *sigh* . Fertility friend said I can test on the 7th of Nov if AF doesn't show up before then! For some reason I feel very positive this month but I am trying not to get my hopes up....

Spoke to my Dr and he said if I get AF next month he will refer me to a FS. I would prefer a BFP but at least I will feel a bit more proactive going to have some tests etc. It beats sitting around waiting month after month! Not that I expect to get any answers......

Angel, hope you are feeling better and the drugs have kicked in!

Big hi to plc1805, jen, ruthie, hannahd, jenushka, tutmae, WTH,mollycat.

Big congrats to Mannie - what a nice surprise!

Megsmum, sorry to hear AF showed up. Sending a big hug to you.

Sorry if I have missed anyone. It was my nephews 5th birthday party today (I made the cake -fottball theme) so I am a little exhausted.......

    Hope everyone is well.
