Indy- I LOVE hearing that story about your mum...it does give me hope...people always say with only one tube left, which is damaged, we have virtually no chance...but you never know! good luck with the TWW!! And I totally get it about the babies everywhere thing

babymiracles...I too hope we both have success with our next IVF cycle... (unless of course we have a miracle beforehand!)

ruthie- good luck with the POAS!!! quite nerve wracking

megsmum- good luck with the sniffing and jabbing- I hope your body reacts like it's meant to

tocarra- that must be hard with your friend pregnant... a friend of mine had both started trying for a baby around the same time...and she has a gorgeous little girl now, and whenever I see her I always think...that could have been me if things had worked out differently

mel and mannie- hi, hope you are OK

hannah- have a good time away

where there's hope...thank for the nice words...I pray we all do find the energy to hope and that hope turns into a baby in our arms one day

afm- doing ok...just struggling a bit at work today...and thinking that if our first pregnancy had worked out I would have had a baby this month...ah well, our turn WILL come...I have to believe that. Plus images of that awful scan which will be 2 weeks ago as of tomorrow..keep replaying in my head...me staring at that screen willing their to be a heartbeat, but realising there simply wasnt one anymore...
on the upside...I've now been able to return to yoga and that helps...and some moments in some days I do experience some joy....so that's a start!

you ladies are lovely...hello to anyone I have missed

    Hi ladies,

Possums - totally understand how your feeling, I'd also be over the 3 month mark now and in the safe zone (to a certain extent) so don't let it get you down, I just hopped back on and tried again and hey presto a BFP so don't give up hope it can happen, and Im 37 so I aint no young chicken and only have limited amount of good eggs but as long as I've got them I'll just keep on trying.

Indy - Im chanting along with you and hoping the witch doens't show..goodluck

Hannah - am thinking of you this weekend and will say a little prayer for your cousin at mass.......will also say a prayer for my bub and for alll you lovely ladies Ttcing

Tut - oh my ....well if you have to chuck you have to chuck I know how your feeling, though its only been dry wretching can't imagine it getting worse though doc said it probably will...oh the joys.....wouldn't swap them for the world! Goodluck

    Ruthie - any news yet??????

Babymiracles - goodluck with your IVF cycle, my good friend is also going through it next week so this will be her 4th attempt, she's my age 37 soon to turn 38 so she's praying hard that this time the bub will stick...am hoping too.... for you

Mel - chin up lovely lady, remember everyday is a miracle and soon you too will be holding yours as will all our ladies on this thread so go on vent all you like thats what we are here for!

Jen - have a great weekend making babies...lots of Im throwing your way girlfriend!

Met our OBGYN today lovely man, very nice and good bedside manner, he explained to me why pregnant women may spot or bleed during their 1st trimester as I have been spotting last few days and that it should stop by week 16. He said its because the embryo attaches itself to the wall of the endometrium and burrows in causing implantation spotting then because the other side of the wall of the uterus still swells up during the pregnancy it may shed and bleed and cause light bleeding, however he did say it is not uncommon for women to spot the whole way through pregnancy. Phew well that makes me feel less anxious, he also did say that there was no point taking any progestrone injections or tablets etc as should the progesterone drop then its not a viable pregnancy anyway and your body is trying to shed the embryo...hmmm yes I suppose he's right there still doesn't make it any easier on all of us ....however moving on......he said the important thing is eating well and that I have enought to eat well and drink lots of water (thats not a problem for me I'm overweight as it is so food has never been an issue and I've just been drinking litres of water cause the pg is making me so thirsty) and that in 2 weeks time he wants an ultrasound and to hear the heartbeat, that is the most important thing, he's not a big believer in HCG levels as that can make mothers anxious and cause unnecessary stress....so overall both my DH and I really liked him and his straightforwardness..got blood tests done today so find out the levels tommorrow but I promised him I won't stress

My sister is so trying not to let on to my mum that I'm pregnant and I promised her that I'd tell mum once I hear the heartbeat in 2 weeks.....I can't wait for that day!

To all the lovely ladies I've missed your in my thoughts as always smi, joey, megsmum, jenushka,Krystie,Angel,Toccara,MO 3B,Tam,WTH and anyone I've not mentioned...goodluck on your journey this week..Im hoping for lots of BFP's by end mid next month BRING IT ON!!!

Hi girls, I hope you are all doing well. Many many stickyvibes and babydust for you all!

I am just bursting to let you all know that DH and I just heard our baby's heart beating for the very first time! We've seen it twice on ultrasound, but wow, there is noting sweeter than actually hearing that beautiful sound! We bought a fetal doppler and even though it says that you can hear the heart beat from 12 weeks, we managed to hear it just now at 11w2d! We listened to my heart first (around 85bpm) and then couldn't believe it when we heard the baby's going around 160bpm!

I've made a basic little video so I could share it on facebook, so if anyone wants to hear it, here it is .

KrystieLove: it's the most amazing sound. i bought one of those from ebay and i heard my bub at just 8 weeks, but saying that i would have prob been more like 10 as jumped 2 weeks ahead. there is nothing as magical as hearing it. the doppler i got came with a cable you can hook up to your laptop, so i have mine on my phone and can listen when ever i like.

I had another litttle listen last night and bub is still beating strong. its hard to convince myself not to walk around with it strapped to my belly.

they are the most amazing things, i would recommend them to anyone!

Easha - good luck with your herbs, aren't they vile!!!!! I have been taking them for two months now and have gone from an incredibly painful, heavy AF that came anywhere from CD21 to CD40-odd to a nice comfortable 31 and 28 day cycle thus far. Hope you have as much success!
Ruthie - ?? any news hun?
Krystie - for hearing the heartbeat!!!!!!! Must be the most beautiful sound in the world.

    Good Morning Gorgeous Girls
Ruthie - News???? Darling whatever the result you have all of our support. Be Strong.
Oh Mannie - That is so lovely - cannot wait to hear great news in two weeks - you have another TWW!!!
Baby Miracles - when do you test????
Fifi - If you strap a doppler on full time, it may get a little difficult to get dressed and to explain that strange thumping noise following you around.
Kyrstielove - It is seriously the most beautiful sound in this world - am a bit weepy!
Emma - I am so sorry honey and welcome to BB. I am so sorry for your loss and it sounds like the fog is starting to lift. Good luck honey, I hope 2009 is it for all of us.
Indy - I know what you mean, if they are not pregnant, they have just given birth. I have a friend that I love but I am finding it really difficult to "forgive" her for getting pg so easily. I am still working on it!
Easha - DEVIL WATER????? Whatever works sweetie!
Megsmum - Glad to hear you sounding more like your old self. Get sniffing and jabbing!

AFM - So tired - first week back at work. DP comes back tonight I have not seen him for 2 weeks (my girlfriend went with me to the FET!). I miss him so much. Ooh - I parked in a random carpark yesterday and it had TWW painted on it - a sign???? I hope so!
    Love to all

Toccara--Oh, cool! At least you get DH until after Thanksgiving! That's WAY better! Plus, with the way time flies, Jan. 2 will be here before you know it, and he'll be done! I'm happy for you! How's the new place? Are you all moved in and unpacked? *hugs*

Megsmum--Glad to hear you're feeling better... sometimes you just need some space to deal with things.... we all know how that is! So back to sniffing and jabbing.... ah, the things we do.... it will be SO worth it in the end, you'll see! Lot's of luck for your scan on Mon. Will say lots of prayers for you!

Ruthie--Thinking of you! Whatever your news, don't forget that we're here for you! *hugs*

babymiracles--Aww, thanks! I get amazing support here, so it's quite easy to give back in return! *hugs*

Indy--Whew! 1 week away.... I feel bad.... it's hard for me to catch up if I miss 1 day, much less 1 week! This is definitely a busy thread--we'll keep you on your toes!

Oh, and btw, a pen and paper work wonders at helping me keep everyone sorted! lol.... wish I could say it's because of my brilliant mind, but that would be a huge whopper of a lie! Sending lots of anti-AF vibes your way!

tutmae--Hope you make it thru work without blowing chum on anyone! At least it's only 1 day a week.... hope the steroids help! Much love.... *kiss* and bellyrubs!

Possums--Ooh, hon.... the images that keep replaying.... I'll never forget that as long as I live! It was like a screenplay that was set on replay.... it seemed never-ending... I just want to assure you that it does and it will get better--I pinky promise! I pray it's sooner for you! Big *hugs*

Mannie--So happy for you that your appt. went well, and you have such an honest and straightforward doctor that's looking out for you and your little sticky bub! Thanks for the babydust--here's some for you!

Easha--Wow, that was one huge temp spike! I've got everything crossed for you--hope that "devil's water" does the trick!

Krystie--Awww! So happy you got to hear little Chyan's I tried to click on the link, but you have to log in or register, and I don't have a Facebook account, so I couldn't listen to it! *sigh* Will you still be making the trip out to Cali in Jan--cuz I would sure love to hear it in person--and give some bellyrubs, too!

fifi--I always start to type "Fluffy" because of your new name! rofl... I bet you already forgot it, didn't you? Remember.... Fluffy Bubblelips?! lol.... Hey, Angel spilled it about the sounds.... but that's ok.... the smilies work for me! All set up and ready to go, so PM me your info....

Melissa--Happy Friday to you! It's only Thursday here.... Grrr! 1 more day to go! Hope you have a great weekend! *hugs*

smi--Hey cycle buddy!!! I'm praying for you, hon, and got everything crossed (except my legs! rofl...) for you!

mollycat--Hey, girl! Where you been? Thinking of you! *hugs*

jenushka--How's the zen holding up? Been thinking of you lots! I'm fresh out of smilies, but heres some stickyvibes for you! *hugs*

    plc--*hugs* for you!

Jen - I'm here, just lurking at the moment. Been sooooo busy. We've got validation at our scheme (where someone comes out inspects so many carers and the scheme office and gives us a grading), today's the last day, so most of us have been waiting for the dreaded phone call "you've been picked". So far I haven't had the call (touch wood). I don't really want someone out observing me for a few hours, couldn't think of anything worse, and that's when the kids go feral. So we've all had to make sure our paperwork is up to date, etc, etc, etc.......

Not much else is going on. Waiting, waiting, waiting......

Krystie - Yay for the little heartbeat! I used to love hearing DD's when I was pg - a lovely sound...

Easha - LOL at your devil water!!! Sounds gross, but I hope it works!

Mannie - Glad to hear the ob appt went well

Emma - So sorry you are struggling I won't say that you'll ever forget that day and the ultrasound because I know I'll never forget mine and the look on my obs face But I promise you that it does get easier to deal with as time goes by and one day you'll be able to think of it and just feel a little bit sad instead of totally shattered. Big

A big hi to smi, mollycat, fifi, plc, melissal, tutmae, Indy and anyone else I have missed. Hope you all have a nice weekend everyone - I know I'll be stressing about my scan all weekend
