hi am only new to this so bear with me..
Had my second miscarriage a week and a half ago and having a harder time coping this time around, so thought it may hekp to chat to people about it that may be able to relate. I also work in childcare alongside two work mates that were due a week eitherside me.
jackjack - I'm so sorry for your losses. The ladies here are wonderful.
everyone else (I'm really bad at personals) - I'm following your posts and sending my best thoughts and wishes.
AFM - received a letter from the dr who performed my d&c today - she said that the results of my miscarriage were entirely benign and that although this doesn't explain the miscarriage, this is reassuring..but then she says we are still waiting for the cytogenetic results (I have to google that - I don't know what it means). She told me I should expect my next period in 4-6 weeks (fingers crossed - I'd like to start TTC after my next AF). and speaking of, I went to my acupuncturist today for the first time since miscarriage and she wants me to wait 3 cycles!!!! i told her I was not comfortable with that as that will take us too far into next year. any thoughts on this?
jackjack I too have had 2 miscarriages and understand how you feel as do all the ladies in this thread. My best friend since kindy and when I had my 2nd miscarriage we were due the same week. She had a beautiful baby girl it hurts ohh boy does it hurt when I see her little girl. My 2nd m/c was also harder to deal with. Are you going to go see a specialist?
WTH I hope you got some good news today about your little eggies. that they all make it to PGD stages and for the transfer. I have a question about the progesterone. How much where you on? You stated you used it your last pg was that your last m/c? If so how did you know you m/c whilst on progesterone?
Buliej I dont think you need to wait 3 cycles my FS said only 1 just for the body to clean itself out. But there has been plenty of ppl that conceived straight after a m/c without even waiting 1 cycle and still had a healthy pg.
Jen I see your ticker is on cycle day 1? If this is the case sending you lots of

I am not feeling to great today trying to cheer up as it is DH birthday but I went to the AP today and he said my temps are to low and thinks I am going to m/c again as they are at 36.6 but my coverline is 36.0. He suggested I got have some blood test done to see what my HCG levels are doing. So I went for a BT today and should get the results tomorrow.
Tam - I'm sorry if I'm out of place saying this but your AP really shouldn't have said that to you! Please don't let what he said discourage you. Sorry, as I said I hope I haven't offended you by saying that but I've just been 'burnt' by a someone in a natural therapy once before which left a very bitter taste in my mouth. the BT levels are really good.
Ruthie - I'm so sorry about your DH's job, I know how you feel, mine got made redundant from his job earlier this year too he picks up something else good really soon!
jackjack - Hi and welcome, so sorry for your loss and that you have to join us here Hope we can help...
buliej - Not real sure about the cytogenetic results, I think that they may be where they test for a molar pregnancy?? Or it may be the chromosomal testing? I believe the standard recommendation by most obs after a D&C is one cycle ie wait for AF and then start again, that's what I was told by my ob anyway. I would not wait for 3 cycles if that is not what you want to do. BTW, I had an AP tell me I should have waited for 6 months to TTC again As if I have that much time to waste at my age
Tam - I have to agree with AJC on those comments too - I'm sorry to say this, hope I don't offend you either A bit inappropriate IMHO and probably unnecessarily worrying for you. I'm not aware of any link between the actual temps and m/c, after all don't forget there are many things that can influence your BBT. Will be crossing everything for a good BT result for you

Tam83- Thank you for your kind words. I am waiting to see my gynocologist as he said i have to wait 4 weeks from my d&c to go back to him. It's seems so long to me and I really just want some answers so the wait is hard. I really want to look into seeing a nutritionist and maybe accupuncture to help but just don't know where to start. As my hubby is having a hard time with this he doesn't know if he wants to keep trying because it's hurting him and doesn't want to go through the pain again.

A bit inappropriate IMHO and probably unnecessarily worrying for you. I'm not aware of any link between the actual temps and m/c, after all don't forget there are many things that can influence your BBT. Will be crossing everything for a good BT result for you
