Well I went to see FS today but he was to busy to speak to me so just got the receptionist. FS has put me on 200mg of progesterone pessaries so I am hoping they do the trick. Just wondering if anybody has used these before? I have never had them and not sure what they really do? I have googled it but didn't find much.
-
Hi all,
I too have been guilty of lurking. Just haven't had anything new to say. I've been keeping up to date with you all though!
Tam83 - I so know it must be easier said than done but try to stay positive. I can't imagine how I will feel when I fall pregnant again, as estatic as I will be I also know I will worry myself sick. I really hope the meds work (sorry haven't had any experience with that medication so can't give you any info) and I am sending :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy: your way. Make sure you rest and try to relax!
Megsmum - Congrats on the fertilised egg, that's all it takes.......Best of luck.
HannahD - Good luck with the TWW. Mine will start next week.....
plc1805 - you give us all hope!
WTH - Congrats on your eggs, for good news.
Mannie - Hope you're doing ok. :)
Big hi to Ruthie, Jen, princess, AJC, fifi, mollycat, smi, jenushka, babymiracles, tutmae, possums, angel and buliej.
Really sorry if I have missed anyone but it is hard to keep up when you haven't posted in a few days!
AFM - went to the FS last week and he is the lovliest Dr. I am so happy with him. He was very sensitive but also professional and very thorough. He listened to all our questions and didn't make us feel stupid for asking them. I am having some tests done this cycle just to make sure I am ovulating (he thinks obviously I am as I have been pregnant before) and also testing a few other things (lupus runs in my family) just to make sure there is nothing preventing me from falling pregnant. I have to wait until day 22 of my cycle to start the tests and then I will go back to the FS in another 4 weeks for the results. There is another test I have to have done on the 1st or 2nd day of my cycle.
We have established DH is ok  so just have to check me out now!
It is our 2nd wedding anniversary tomorrow and also the start of my 'fertile' time so maybe it might bring us luck..........Here's hoping!

Hi Ladies,
I'm sorry i have to admit i'm being a big fat lurker! I have this new found energy that i'm making the most of! :leap:
We've started sorting out all the rubbish that we have in the spare room (or dumping ground as it is known!) so we can get it ready for decorating and getting ready for bub, so that took up most of this weekend.
I waiting any day now to start feeling the movements of bub but i think at the moment, it's just gas!!!
Should also have anyday now the letter from hospital with the date for my 20 weeks scan  I cant wait to see bub again.
I hope you are all doing ok, lots of :stickyvibesboy: :stickyvibesgirl: and a great big :grouphug:
And sorry for just being a lurker!!!
-
Thank you so much girls for thinking of me ♥ Gosh it means so much!!!:grouphug:
I saw 2 BFPS!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!:clap::stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
Sending my best wishes your way girls!!
I have been very quiet... very. nothing much to say... I'm still fighting to get back on my feet (even though I keep falling) but I'm sure that when Jan 2009 comes.. I will be ready to TTC again. ♥
The past two weeks have been up and down..
I still have not had AF since my D&C on Sept 12th.. it all sucks. Nope I have tested and tested.. and tested some more.. BFNs.. (not that I want to be preggo right now..not yet I don't feel emotionally ready to handle all the stress with TTCing with meds and all that crap I'm sick of doing.)
2 of my very good friends lost their babies last week. I couldn't help but cry both for them and for myself. One of them was 11 weeks (just like me) and the other one had pre-term labor at 24 weeks and her baby fought.. Oh did he fight.. for 3 days and passed away. WHY??.. Sorry I don't want to bring depressive feelings here.. but God.. why these things happen to the greatest of women????
anyways...
I just want to say.. from the bottom of my heart.. very deep down in my big big heart... I LOVE you girls. Those TTCing I am wishing you the very best!! Those pregnant.. May you have a healthy and beautiful baby when you're due.
I will be here.. lurking still.. but as I was reading I felt so touched that many of you remembered me .. (I'm tearing up) THANK YOU ♥
I LOVE YOU GIRLS!!!!!:grouphug:
-
Ruthie - :hello: I'm so sorry that stupid AF hasn't shown up yet - you'd think she'd know by now when she is wanted and when she is not  And as for you your friends :( probably the only good thing about it is that they have an understanding friend in you...take care of yourself hey?
fifi - I thought DD's first movements were wind too LOL I'll bet that's what you are feeling! (movements that is not wind ;)) Yay! GL for your 20 wk scan.
Mel1979 - Glad to hear the FS visit went well. They are probably going to just check your progesterone on day 22 - that will tell them whether you have ovulated or not) and I'd say they'd be checking FSH on day 1 or 2 - that checks your ovarian reserves. Good luck and hope it all goes well for you!
Tam83 - Hope the pessaries do the trick for you! I have used them for LP support for a few cycles and all they do is increase your progesterone levels to help support the pregnancy. They are a bit icky - I definitely recommend lying down for about 20 or 30 mins after you put one in (TMI I know...but you will get less errrr "leakage") and a panty liner is a must! Good luck.
plc - Hi there! Thanks for the well wishes, here's hoping this little one sticks. It was a very good embryo according to the lab so I hope so!
WTH - Awww thanks hun  Have got fingers, toes and everything else crossed for your little embies today! BTW have just eaten half a punnet of strawberries! ;) LOL Yummo...
HannahD - Yay for the good feeling! All the best for your TWW!
buliej - Thanks for the sticky vibes  hope you are OK today...
Jen - Thanks heaps! I just looked at your chart and sig, I'm so sorry hun :( #$#^%$ AF!!
babymiracles - You are 2 days ahead of me I think aren't you? When was your transfer - Friday? I'm due for AF on the 27th anyway and have an appt with my FS for the next day to talk about the next cycle - here's hoping we won't need it. Will probably have a BT done that day I guess. Good luck!
AFM - Nothing much happening, I actually feel the most relaxed I have felt about things for months! I think because everything was so stressful leading up to the embryo transfer I guess. I'm having HCG injections for LP support, so no early POAS for me! Just have to wait it out.
-
Megsmum: Thank you girl ♥
BAD NEWS!!!! :(
My husband was laid (sp?) off today....(from work) meaning no HI and my baby dreams just won't happen for now. It hurts ever so much.. I cried so much today and even threw away the onesie and baby socks I had for my angel bubba... but I have put on my big girl panties.. and I have to suck it up. I cannot let this ruin everything. My husband is applying for unemployment and food stamps tomorrow, he might go back to the computer technician thing he used to do.. so maybe things will work out soon. Please.. pray for us.
We will both have to figure out what we will do. We are both sending resumes everywhere.. so hopefully despite the horrible economy.. maybe we both can get a job soon.
Please pray for us.. as hard times are coming.
I am going to stay strong.. I know we can get out of this. I know 2009 has good things for us.
Love you all.
Ruthie

Ruthie - What a year you've had. I'm send you the biggest  that I can possibly send. Looking at the bright side. 2009 has to be better (it can't get any worse).
We had one of those years in 2007 (2008 has been much better - 2009 will be great :crossfingers:)
Megsmum - Glad to hear the the transfer went well - that it will be one little sticky bub.
Fifi - great work on cleaning out the dumping ground. Soon to be known as baby fifi's room :bellyrubs: for you.
Jen - for you. I'm always thinking about you.
Tam - Rest up, hopefully the meds will do the trick :bellyrubs: for you too.
Mel - Happy Anniversary. Hope you get the best present (a little bit late)
PLC & Smi - *wavin. Hi there.
To all those that I missed - Hello :pink-babydust::stickyvibesboy:
-
A quick post for TAM - I used progesterone pessaries last PG. Progesterone, natural or given, can give you PMT-like symptoms, eg: headaches, sore breasts, elevated body basal temp, etc. It made my checks really rosey, too! I found them to be very effective - chose to insert them at night at bed as you need to lay down at least 1/2 an hour for them to absorb. Take care, WTH x
-
Hannah--Good for you for being so positive! Wishing you the best of luck for your TWW!
WTH--The fires are actually about an hour south from where I live--I could smell it today! But no worries, there's lots of open land between me and them! You're sweet for asking about me--thanks! *hugs* Congrats on your 4 :fertilise: I'm so super happy for you! Will say lots of prayers for a successful Thursday!
plc--Thanks again for the great pic! *kiss* Sending you lots of :bellyrubs: since I didn't get to give them to you in person!
Tam--Hope the Progesterone pessaries help! Find your Zen, hon, and keep your faith! :stickyvibesgirl:
Mel--Happy 2nd Anniversary! And during your fertile time, even! Better get those baby dancing shoes on, and get ready for some :bd: Lot's of luck!
fifi--Hey girlie girl! *blowing kisses*
Ruthie--Aww, hon... sorry to hear about DH's job! 2008 has been a rough year for you--I think you could use about a thousand of these
Megsmum--Thanks... yeah, she's a witch! She showed up completely unannounced, too, and is not being very nice this month! Grrr!
Glad to hear you're feeling so relaxed--saying lots of  for that little embie of yours! :pink-babydust:
mollycat--Wow, your coverline just kinda snuck in there this month! A little early this month, too, isn't it? Keeping my :crossfingers: no matter what!!
-
Jen - i don't believe that coverline at all. I think it will change. Definately too early. But oh well, whatever will be, will be.
Glad the fires aren't too close. Hate to think what our summer season will be like this year, we normally have fires around us. Hopefully they won't be anything like what you guys have over there.
-
hi am only new to this so bear with me..
Had my second miscarriage a week and a half ago and having a harder time coping this time around, so thought it may hekp to chat to people about it that may be able to relate. I also work in childcare alongside two work mates that were due a week eitherside me.
-
jackjack - I'm so sorry for your losses. The ladies here are wonderful.
everyone else (I'm really bad at personals) - I'm following your posts and sending my best thoughts and wishes.
AFM - received a letter from the dr who performed my d&c today - she said that the results of my miscarriage were entirely benign and that although this doesn't explain the miscarriage, this is reassuring..but then she says we are still waiting for the cytogenetic results (I have to google that - I don't know what it means). She told me I should expect my next period in 4-6 weeks (fingers crossed - I'd like to start TTC after my next AF). and speaking of, I went to my acupuncturist today for the first time since miscarriage and she wants me to wait 3 cycles!!!! i told her I was not comfortable with that as that will take us too far into next year. any thoughts on this?
-
jackjack I too have had 2 miscarriages and understand how you feel as do all the ladies in this thread. My best friend since kindy and when I had my 2nd miscarriage we were due the same week. She had a beautiful baby girl it hurts ohh boy does it hurt when I see her little girl. My 2nd m/c was also harder to deal with. Are you going to go see a specialist?
WTH I hope you got some good news today about your little eggies. that they all make it to PGD stages and for the transfer. I have a question about the progesterone. How much where you on? You stated you used it your last pg was that your last m/c? If so how did you know you m/c whilst on progesterone?
Buliej I dont think you need to wait 3 cycles my FS said only 1 just for the body to clean itself out. But there has been plenty of ppl that conceived straight after a m/c without even waiting 1 cycle and still had a healthy pg.
Jen I see your ticker is on cycle day 1? If this is the case sending you lots of
AFM:
I am not feeling to great today trying to cheer up as it is DH birthday but I went to the AP today and he said my temps are to low and thinks I am going to m/c again as they are at 36.6 but my coverline is 36.0. He suggested I got have some blood test done to see what my HCG levels are doing. So I went for a BT today and should get the results tomorrow.
-
Tam83 - I hope you get good news from the BT....and thanks for the other information.
