Aloha everyone, sorry for being MIA. :)
Ive just had a MUCH needed time out from everything.
Hello & to all the newbies, sorry to see you hear and hope you leave sooner than some of the rest of us!!!
Will catch up with personals later on, Just have a question, and then im off to a staff meeting. Booooo!
Question for whoever uses OPK.
Has anyone ever used the confirm brand from the supermarket??
According to my CM & My temp I have already ovulated...but according to this opk I am yet to or am just about to ovulate... I know my chart is pretty empty but from previous cycles, when i ovulate the temp is much lower, not in the .70's...also that was an early temp..normally wake and temp about 8:30-9
The tests say they're "Ultra sensitive" so Im wondering whether that is why im still having positives? The internet cheapies seem to be the better ones apparently.
I dont really trust it. Just wondering if anyone else has thoughts :)
Based on previous cycles, every second one, I ovulate on cd12/13..which is this time, and every other time its on cd14. It has been like clockwork since the laparoscopy so Im fairly confident Im correct.
-
Hi Coco,
and hi to everyone. I haven't posted in here for absolutely ages, but you are all not far from my thoughts.
Coco - i only used the Confirm OPK's and for me they worked spot on. I would only test untill i got a positive then stop testing. I would find that about 2-3 days after the positive my temp would rise quite obviously. Not sure on the specific answers for your chart, but just thought I'd let you know that i found those opk's to be very good. (Just a tip - which you may already be doing??! - LH will typically surge in the afternoon so best to test around 3pmish and test at the same time everyday) These tests helped me get my bfp's so good luck to you.
and good luck to you all. hope your journey in this thread is a short one.
Hugs to all
Jules

Hi everyone,
Just a quick post before I head off to Brisbane for the weekend. I had my appointment with my FS on Tuesday and according to the blood test I didn't ovulate :( so now I'm just waiting for the dreaded AF to arrive and then take 100mg clomid for 5 days . I was on 50mg but obviously that didnt work for me. If the 100mg doesnt help me ovulate on time, I'm then to go to another FS an hour away who can help me further... the problems with living in a regional area!
Also, I asked him about Vitex.... he hadn't even heard of it! But he didnt recommend it (after looking it up) as there seems to be no scientific proof that it helps women.
Hope everyone is doing well.... looking forward to hearing whay murraycod has to say in a few days time!!
-
I have never ever ever got a positive from a OPK. There is something wrong with meeee! But all other signs point to me Oing (like, I dunno, say, getting pregnant that one time? And CM, and textbook charts etc)
Was just up at the chemist to get some nail scissors, and they had conception vitamins for $2! Sure, not far off their use by date, but even if I only use half the pack it's still an enormous saving! Yahoo!
Have fun in Brissy, loopy! Be nice to cyclists - they're all my friends!
-
Matthewsmum - thanks all is good with us. currently 10w1d pregnant but being nervous and cautious. have been having weekly scans and due for another one on monday. just praying this little one sticks and then to be able to relax a bit and enjoy the pregnancy.
i haven't really been in to announce cause i wasn't really a regular poster anyways and didn't want to come in just to blurt my news. but often lurking around you ladies and keeping up with your journeys.
again, good luck and baby dust to you all.

Afternoon ladie's
Hey cherished
Coco-good to see you back i alway's go by the OPKs as i don't get cm and my temp is not reliable and my FS said OPKs only detect the LH surge when you are going to ovulate so if you get a positive then go for it.
Craftmummy-good luck using OPKs for the first time.
Loopylouie- most FS are all for science these day's and i actually read a sight that had done a scientific study on vitex and a placebo with over 5000 women and it was a medical sight and it actually proved that it work's it is not a miricle cure for infertility it helps womens bodies that are out of wack to get back to normal i will swear by it as it helped with my PMS and premenstral pimples and i got pregnant straight away and i know my girlfriend tried for 18 months then took it and fell pregnant not long after taking it my FS said it is great for helping women get pregnant the natural way but not good for ivf as it can interfere with the blood test results if your FS has never heard of it how can he dissmiss the idea i believe the numerous womens BFPs and multitude of information on many sight's that i have spent's months surfing and reading but in saying that vitex is not for everyone and everyone tries different thing's to help get there BFP.
Snugglebean-i have read that some women have the LH surge for a short time and can miss it on the test's i myself get a positive and it stay's positive for a week have you had BT to see if you ov.
Juleswa-great to hear you are doing well.
AFM- for those of you who know the story of my horrible SIL who told my mum she was pregnant the day we found out we would lose our daughter and then she went on to be a cow because my mum was to upset to be happy for her as she went though watching her daughter (me) give birth to her dead grandaughter and then went on to exclude my mum from everything to do with her pregnancy all because we were mourning and were not dancing around pulling sparklers out of our a##ses because she was having a healthy baby well she had her baby a boy last night and they diddnt even bother to tell my mum and stepdad until 4 hrs after the baby was born and wont tell them what hospital they are at how bad is that i am so cranky with her i will not even bother with her ever again she is so heartless and pathetic at least she had a boy that makes 7 boy's and 2 girls so i hope i can give my mum another girl.
-
coco and craftymummy, sorry I'm not much help for OPKs as the availability of brands, etc is different in the US. I've been happy with the Answer 20-count kit, but who knows if you can get that in Australia.
cherished, I'm sorry the wait has been so hard. I can only imagine, it's been only 3 months for me since the m/c and it's been sooo hard to patient. Hang in there. :)
ferrals, I'm sorry your SIL has been so hard to deal with--I guess some women who haven't had a pregnancy loss can't or don't want to understand the pain. At least your mother has been supportive when it counted. My mom went to the emergency department with me when I was having heavy bleeding and a lot of pain during my m/c and it meant a lot to me--DH couldn't be there and she was a big help.
juliewa, nice to "meet" you, congrats on your BFP! I hope all goes well for you as your little one keeps growing.
AFM, AF hasn't shown up yet, but I'm still not out of the woods. It's possible she'll make an appearance before Saturday, so I'll wait until then to test. HPTs cost money, and it won't kill me to wait a couple of days. In the meantime, the MP3 player my DH ordered for me arrived this morning. He took it to work to charge it and transfer all the music we put on the laptop, during his dinner break. It should be ready to go when he gets home from work tonight. We also have new DVDs that came in the same package from amazon.com, so we can have a movie night. Maybe I should dig out the popcorn popper, mix up some orange juice, and we can make it festive. (FYI, since we don't drink alcohol, that's about as festive as we get. ;-) )

another PG friend...
hello ladies....
they say that the universe gives us what it thinks we can handle... well enough is enough i say!...i found out today that ANOTHER collegue is pg this one is EXACTLY the same time i would have been... 13weeks...now i feel i am handling the mc well....i have come to term with the fact that it was not the right time for whatever reason and that when i am well again, we can give it another go, and while DP and i have the support and love for eachother we'll be ok... but its like at EVERY turn there is someone PG close to what i was ...i feel like the universe is reminding of what my body couldnt get right... i think if one more person tell me they are PG i will scream! thanks for letting me vent.. i dont have anyone who can relate to my headspace. thanks :shakehead:
-
Ferrals - I'm still lurking and waiting for that great result from you with this round of IVF! Your SIL sounds like a jerk, I remember the stories from our ttc time
Coco - glad to see you after your time out and hoping you are doing well and ready for the rollercoaster again! got my fingers crossed for you.
Good luck to everyone else with your journey...never give up hope, its to important a time of your life.
-
Ferrals I can't believe your SIL has dragged this on for so long now, she will regret it when her kids don't have a great relationship with your family :(
Jules thans honey for your pm, I've replied to you this morning ;)
SnugBug hugs from you are the bestest :p I wish you were coming to the tri today...
Coco I replied to you in the other thread, I love my internet cheapies for anyone else who was wondering about advice ont eh OPK's and PG tests
Matthew mum wow your dd has done really well with the weight loss, how did she find JC? that is a fantastic loss  I am nearly back to what I was before my 2nd pg this year... I had another pg earlier int eh year and put on 4 kg's with that one too so I had 8kg's to loose from being pg this year and no baby to show for it  So another 4 and I will be back to pre pg weight... Than I want to loose another 7! So I'll see how I go :p
bookworm patience is not my strong suit... This is the 1st cycle in 14 cycles that I have not been insane in the tww  But doing something else with my brain like loosing weight has been wonderful to stop thinking about ttc
budgi, you are right hon, you will have a healthy baby soon when the time is right with your body and your dh's spermies
AFM AF showed up today after spotting last night and I also had a drop on the scales so there's some sadness and happiness all in the one day..
-
Cherished-sorry AF turned up hang in there we are on this rollercoaster together and a drop on the scales is always a spirit lifter.
Bookworm-we havn't had a BFP for a while someone needs to break the drought.
Budgi- I KNOWWWWWWWWWWW! what you mean i was the first and only one pregnant at work and in my family and when i lost abbi BAMMM! they are everywhere i had 4 at work all within weeks of each other and my GRRRRRRRRRRRRR SIL and then my 2 good friend's and believe it or not but someone up there is helping a little cause so far out of the 7 there has been 5 boys which is good for me i dont think i would handle seeing a newborn girl all in pink but there is still 2 to go.
Hey TinaR-thanks for keeping an eye on me i hope i can give everyone some good news soon i feel i an letting everyone down with all the bad luck we have had all our family are waiting on eggshells for something to happen talk about pressure.
-
budgi I struggle too with other peoples pregnancys. One especially my good friend. Worst of it she keeps telling me others stories and I am not along. She isn't really the person who should be councelling me when she has no clue the pain I am/have been in. And then their are two due same time as me (one was IVF, 41yrs of age and multiple late m/c) so that makes it easier and if one of us had to m/c it should have been me (due to me having more age on my side and not been an IVF pregnancy and not taking 3yrs to conceive) so that makes it abit easier and shows me that for me it should happen again at some stage even if its not in the time frame I hoped for. If I could have choose anyone out of the 10 people that are pregnant to be pregnant she would have been on top of my list. So that makes me happy.
coco1411 I had trouble with the supermarket OPT they were positive for too long. Made it hard to interpret. Yeah the internet ones seem to be accurate. I am not going to bother with OPT anymore unless there is a new type out which shows which side I am ovulating from IYKWIM.
cherished1 always lovely to hear from you. Wish stupid AF didn't show. But I am praying this is the last one till another 9-10months when your baby arrives.
Hello to everyone else. I am on MIL computer so have to be quick. She is not happy with me or anyone else to be honest. Now I just need this computer to freeze so she can come read it and actually have something to be ****ty about.
AFM 20days till my op which hopefully will improve my chances of another BFP in the near future.
Just wondering other opinions. Should I make an appointment to see a FS now (due to the waiting list) for when I need it (when I am not pregnant) next year and if I am pregnant (which I think is unlikely) I will cancel it? I don't want to make an appointment in 3-4months time and have a 3month wait but I also want to know when and where I am going IYKWIM.
-
Thanks ferrals and Emmy my lovely friend who I have been missing thank so much  I would make the fs appointment now in anticipation, as you said you can always cancel it and even if you do get UTD keep the appointment right up until a few days before, they always have waiting lists for cancellations so don't feel bad about cancelling it, HTH ;)
-
helloo everyone,
ferrals, craftymummy, coco, murraycod, snugglybean, eliselouise, loppylouise, scarypinkfairy and all the other members of the group
sorry i was away from the post, but constantly checking in about everyone...
i had a reddish spotting yesterday (CD21), and tummy cramps, couldnt sleep aswell the night before yesterday.....so i went to my GP, completely freeked and panic..like what happened...she said, it could be ovulation spotting or you may get you periods soon...i said i did used OPK and had a LH surge on 23rd of oct...so finally she said...its too early to say anything; so she decided for blood test for Early Preg detection...i will get the results tonight....lets see whats on the cards...
i am very nervous and freeked out...i dont want to get hurt and disappointed once again...
hope everyone is doing all right
-
Hello to my lovely freinds Cherished and Coco!! I always lurk around the thread, feels homely, and am glad to see you both posting (even though I know you'll be in other threads.) Cherished, you are SO right about pregnancy being like the lottery. DH and I watched 60 minutes too, and felt even more grateful, but nervous than we ever have. I too am glad it was aired on main stream prime time TV.
Hello to everyone else, good luck to us all in our journeys.
-
Damn!!! What is this article that everyone is talking about!?!! I missed it! Sounded like a goodie!
Anyone have a link to it online or something?
-
ric - that must be so hairy for you! Esp after a PMP, I don't know if it's the same for you, but I know I get so worried, if AF is even a day late, when any bfp could mean regrowth, or it could mean pg.
chez - I'll come up another time and we can do our own tri. That way I can do a long ride, big swim, and run like 100m! I am the worst runner ever. DH almost has me convinced to attempt Coot-tha this weekend - I am terrified but psyched! There's two other friends going so I can't back out, either!
emmy - I would make the appt. You can always cancel it down the track if you want to.
I would also say something very rude to my MIL :p I did to mine, once, and we've never been closer since.
ferrals - you are not letting anyone down in the whole world. You are doing completely the opposite by being so strong - I bet you're actually inspiring them. I'm sure it sucks to feel that they're all sad with you, but it's only cos they love you. Don't worry about them, just look forward, focus on your own journey.
budgi - I had a massive meltdown a few weeks ago just after a colleague announced she was pg. I was OK at first, but I was the only one she'd told, so I copped all the details,w hich was fine, until she got to the scan and told me how her DH started to cry when he saw the heartbeat. I left the room in tears. She just didn't really think. Telling me before anyone else not really the brightest idea either. Two days later I crawled under my desk and had a huge cry because I couldn't bear to even look at her. She's now off for 3 weeks due to massive sickness, a relief for me emotionally, but stressful work-wise.
juleswa - don't feel bad about coming in with news. I find it really comforting to know that there's hope on the other side of this. I don't know about everyone else, but I love to hear from you.
AFM - TGIF!
-
SnugBug I just saw your location changed, such a crack up, gosh I miss seeing you regularly in a thread! Now I know I've been getting more active and loosing weight and stuff but I don't think I'd be up for our own tri! You'd leave me for dead... like seriously you'd be about 9 km's in front of my on a 10km bike ride  Have fun on the Mt, have you ever done Mt, Pomona?
Sunny my little ray of sunshine :D how are you beautiful girl? Hope you are well, I sent you a pm a while back, hope it found you well and happy with bubs  take care my lovely chat soon xxoo
-
evening all, hope everyone has had a good week and thank goodness its the weekend.
Welcome back cherished, glad to see that you are coping ok and congrats on the weight loss, hopefully you've come back to announce a BFP really soon.
Coco good to see you back posting again, i was wondering where you had got too. Dont have a link to the actual episode of the 60 minutes show but Lisa & Jeff (the couple who had 20 m/c) done a chat online after the show and here is the link to that if you want to read through it.
http://sixtyminutes.ninemsn.com.au/webchats/920774/chat-lisa-and-jeff-body
.It was a great doco and as someone said in an earlier post its good to see it shown on mainstream tv for everyone to see.
Sunny glad to see your still lurking, hope the pg is going really well for you
Ric good luck with the blood test results tonight, hope you get the answer your after. Make sure you pop back in and let us know how you went.
Emmy i would make the appt and like the others said its no biggie if you have to cancel it (and hopefully you will when you get your BFP real soon)
Tina how is your pg going, i hope your morning sickness is gone and your starting to feel good.
Budgi that must be so hard to hear about pg friends i havent had to encounter it yet but im really hoping im pg before anyone else tells me they are. I think ill be able to cope with it then.
Bookworm your festivities sound like fun, we dont really drink much either so thats generally the extent of our weekend fun too LOL. Good luck with testing, hopefully af doesnt show up and you can announce your BFP real soon
Ferals  your horrible SIL i cant believe she is still carrying on as if she hasnt made it hard enough for you already. She will be the one who loses out in the end when you dont want anything to do with her in years to come. Stay strong hunny and hopefully youll too have your own little bundle very soon.
Jules congratulations on your pg. Dont feel bad about posting a bfp it gives us hope and we love to hear all about it.
AFM not much happening here, enjoying this lovely weather, just been for a walk and sweated soooo much, its so HOT. Just waiting for ovulation and hoping its around sunday/monday coz thats the only time me and db are going to be able to BD as im making the 3 hour trip to go and stay with him where hes working.
A friend at work was telling me about this naturopath she goes to and apparently he is brilliant at helping women fall pg. Hes had a 100% success rate and has even helped women who have been unsuccessful with IVF. So i got his name and number and rang to make an appt and the women told me hes not taking new clients  so annoyed. Have made an appt with another lady at the same clinic and she may be able to give me a referral to this man women call god
Anyway better get going, have a shower and organise some dinner
Talk soon
-
:hello:Sunny, TinaR and Juleswa, Thank you for dropping in on us from time to time, and having a bit of a lurk to make sure the Mad House is doing ok XX
Cherished welcome back X Sorry to hear that AF showed up babe, it's always a crappy feeling to first see her X
Coco OMG DARLING I have missed you!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was gunna PM you couple nights ago but thaught i had better not stalk you, knew you were having a little time to yourself X But so nice to have you back X Hope you are well X
Craftymummy and Matthew'sMum these next 5 days can't get over and done with quick enough!
Crafty hope you get that LH surge your looking for,
Matthew'sMum, October was depressing, no BFP's for 4 weeks, I hope you and I can start November off with a much better trend. XX
Loopielouie have a nice time in Brissy, sorry to hear lack of 'O', and hope that the higher dosage of Clomid does the trick. Don't loose hope, there are otherways to get those blasted eggs to burst don't you worry X Got some dynamite??;)
Ferrals sounds like you have a spiolt brat of a SIL (sorry). My SIL and I have not spoken since she had her twins in April. She had made some very nasty comments about my MC in March, saying she was glad because now the focus was just on her babies and not on mine. My MIL tries to encourage me to go see her (she an outlaw like me) but I will never bear my backside to that cow, DH says over his dead body will we go see her. Oh, happy families hey!?!............loopie did you have dynamite??????
Budgi so sorry hun X
Emmy I agree with the last few comments, you can always cancell, it's always good thing to have something to fall back on when all else fails XXX
RIC YOU HAD BETTER BE POSTING TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or I wont sleep worrying about you. Good Luck hun X Hope all is good news X
Bookworm I got 2 DVD's and microwave popcorn thisavo after work then I read your post!! Have a great night, you deserve it, I will definately be doing the same !!
Snugly what's TGIF??
Have fun over the weekend cheeky girl, I hope that your Bootie and BejayJay are well padded thistime :nahnah:
I read your tap comment................ X
Just had to edit, we must have posted at the same time Eliselouise, hope you are well my darling XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
AFM.................well............I dunno If I wanna say this out loud incase I sound like a nuffy on Wednesday, but I now have the worlds most itchyest, sore and hot nipples. Enough for me to go and buy some Bepanthen on the way home and douse myself in it. My boods are tender but only when I poke them (and that would have looked great walking down the shopping centre poking at my boobies) cuz i keep poking them to check if they are still tender......now they sore from all the poking!!!!!
I know I promised that I would relax and not over annalise my body twinges this month because I still have the Pregnyl on board in my system, but I have NEVER had tender boobs or nipples that feel like theyr'e on fire.
Still have been getting pinching AF cramps, and when I got home I was...(TMI WARNING) so wet downstairs I wen't boltinh to the toilet cuz I thaught AF had arrived. Just watery white stuff, not creamy or EWCM stuff........ok I'll stop now:tmi:
Have all of a sudden got my hopes so damn high, and I can't wait till tomorrow mornig to wake up and poke my boobies again to see if they still sore!
I haven't told DH about this cuz as I said, I feel silly getting these strong feelings, and gunna feel stupid if it turns out to be a BFN anyway.
-
budgi, I can relate with the difficulty in seeing other people who are pregnant. It's nobody's fault or a rarely a deliberate attempt to make us feel sad, but it's a reminder of what we've lost.
ric, good luck waiting for the BT results, hang in there.
AFM--ferrals, hopefully I can be the one to break the BFP drought. I thought AF was getting going today, but it was just a little spotting and stopped again. So who knows what to think now... I'm still going to try to be patient and test on Saturday, unless AF decides to show up in enough force to let me know it's not going to be this month. I'm trying to keep my mind busy, playing with the new MP3 player and watching the new DVDs. I motivated myself to walk for 30 minutes on the mini-tramp before DH got home from work--I was stiff at work today. After he got home, I was nearly falling off the couch laughing at "Shaun the Sheep," the "claymation" creation from the Wallace & Gromit geniuses. Hopefully it wasn't loud enough to annoy the neighbors--it was about 5:30 am. We make an effort to not make a lot of noise when we're up in the wee hours of the morning every day, but I couldn't help laughing. We had a nice little "date" eating popcorn and watching the DVD. We'll have to watch the next one tonight.
-
it was a big NOOOOOOO
HCG less than 2, doc said it could be late ovulation or implantation bleeding, and after fertilisation it takes 3-4 days to come in blood test....so i have to hang in there...and said don't panic, spotting was yesterday and no AF today....so wait...
sorry to disappoint each and every member, including myself.
someone please post BFP in our forum..
i will post again.
-
So sorry RIC, dont feel down, as the saying goes, not over until AF shows full flow X
Take it easy tonight, like Bookworm and I, go get a DVD XX
-
Ric sorry to hear that the blood test didnt show a BFP just yet, but just remember its not over untill AF rears her ugly head, and dont think that you have dissapointed any of us. I know it must have been dissapointing for you but we are just here for you and hoping that you get your BFP very soon.
-
awww, ric, I've a right mind to march downt here to Melbs and give your body a good talking to! I hope it communicates a bit more clearly from now on! Not a disappointment, mate! It'll happen, you know it.
AFM... CD14. I usually O on day 17 but last cycle as a little late. Thinking about throwing a small amount of caution into the wind this month and just going for it. For = yay! might get knocked up! Against = cant go skiing in Japan, we're not really supposed to, oh, and I'm supposed to be getting my wisdom teeth out soon. Hmmm. I'll let you all know (cos you're dying to find out) Along with all the other latest Bejingo Headlines.
-

-
looppylouie hope the increased dose of clomid works for you next time. i have no experience with vitex but lots of people on here have had success with it so maybe your doctor should not be so quick to dismiss something he doesn't know about.
ferrals how can your sil be so childish!! of course your family are going to more upset about your news than they would be happy about her news. sounds like you are better off without her, she does not seem to have any understanding of what you are going through.
budgi how hard that must be for you to hear another lady being pg. hope you can be strong and get through it ok.
emmy83, sounds like it must have been hard for your friend ttc for 3 years. at least you know it hasn't been easy for her either, so would make things a bit easier for you. what op are you having to improve your chances of getting pg? and i would say no harm in making the appointment, you can always cancel it, and hopefully you will. i'm sure someone would take the appointment if you don't need it.
ric sorry to hear about your result.
eliselouise hope you o on time for your db to be around. hopefully you won't need to see that fertility specialist this time round.
murraycod i must say they sound like pg symptoms to me!!! my bbs hurt soooo much when i got pg, was one of my first signs. :crossfingers: i also had pains in my right ovary so maybe it's your month!! i must say i'm waiting for your test results....
snugglybean must be a hard desicion to make. whether to go for it or not. let us know what you decide. when have they given you go ahead to try again?
bookworm and matthew's mum have you tested yet?!?
afm 12 days post d&c and still a small amount of bleeding. been a total of over 5 weeks of bleeding now, i don't know how i am coping. it is supposed to stop 10-14 days after d&c so should i contact the hospital again if it hasn't stopped?
-
Hey ladies i have the day off today and i am sitting here waiting for all the trick or treaters so far i have gone through 6 bags off lollies my kid's are drueling at the mouth waiting for the leftovers.
Ric-sorry your BT diddnt show a BFP just yet but hang in there AF might not show up.
Bookworm-how are you going i hope no sign of AF we need a BFP to lift our spirits.
Murrycod -did you poke and prod your boobs today you will make them sore lol and i know what you mean about wet down there being a sign when i am pregnant that is one of my symptoms it is gross.
SPF-my stupid SIL is just a self centered cow and i would give it a few more day's for the bleeding to settle down then go see the doctor if they said 10 to 14 days go after that time is up.
Snuggly- have a great weekend i dont envy you one bit you must be very fit i feel real lazy my exercise is walking my dogs maybe jump on the treadmill and i do 10 hrs of walking at work if i am not on a cashier shift i am not overweight 63kgs but i do have some wobbly bits i need to do somthing about.
Sunny-great to hear that all is well with you.
Hello to the ladies i missed.
AFM-I'm hanging in there waiting for my AF it is due on friday i rang the pgd nurse to get some more day 1 BT forms as i used it and the spare last cycle anyway i had a talk to the nurse and i am not very optimistic regarding my E2 levels she said it could have been a one off or it could be i have estrogen dominance and it might not go down if that's the case i would not be a good candidate for ivf they could start a cycle with the high E2 but i would be at high risk of the cycle being cancelled due to overstimulation or that my lead follicle would be to big and take up all the meds preventing all the other follicles with imature eggs from catching up so i would not have enough mature eggs at egg pick up and for PGD testing as you know we need lots i am trying everything still on organic foods i have cut out a lot of products with paraben in it eg. shampoo conditioner beauty products and switched to all natural to get this E2 down.
PRAYING IT WORKS!!!!

ferrals it seems like you are doing everything you possibly can (and more!!) to get your E2 down. i think you are becoming an expert on the whole subject :) pgd sounds so hard as you would need to produce so many more eggs to get a few that can be implanted, but i am no expert! just hope it goes well for you on friday. why does it always seem like we are counting down days to this or that...? probably because we are :)

What the? I spent ages yesterday writing a really long post with lots of personals and today it seems to have disappeared. Boo! I don't think I have the energy to re-type it all.
Hi to everyone, hope you are all doing well. Welcome to the new faces, sorry you have to be here, but hopefully your stay will be short. I think there are far too many of us in this thread right now waiting, so were due for a big string of BFPs'
I'm currently at 4 DPO and trying hard not to over analyze every symptom I have. I bumped into a friend of mine who JUST started TTC buying HPTs because her period is late. I hope she is but it just seems so unfair if it was that easy for her and here we all are stuggling like crazy to get PG. Another friend said something to lead me to believe she too is pregnant so that is now 7 friends of mine who are expecting and I'm wondering when it's going to be my turn (all of our turns)
DS won't sleep and is yelling from his room for me to come take him to the potty (which means he already went and wants to be changed) so I will talk to you all soon.

Hey everyone! We haven't been given the go-ahead to try again, but they seem a bit blase about the whole thing at the clinic. So we're not trying, but we're not being all that careful either. The full-blown trying starts in December, (pending two more blood tests) which the clinic have OK'd.
SPF - My bleeding went for 4 days post d & c, then stopped for two days, then went on for another 10, just a small amount.
We didn't end up doing coot-tha, just a 50km river loop. Pretty good fun, I think I was holding the boys back a little bit, though, which made me feel bad.

Mornig girls, wow it's hot here in Sunraysia, 37 today and 38 tomorrow, ouch!
Snugglybean you must be so fit! I haven't done even a sit up for 3 months, cuz I'm too scared too!!!! Hence the flab hanging over my shorts right now
Hi TwinSis, that has happened to me with a post a couple times, and as usual long ones, I hate that!! So I just write them again, never as long though! Nice to see you are well X Hope we see a BFP somewhere soon.............girls...............C'MON!!!!
SPF IKWYM!! Counting every single day for something different! Then at the end of the month, the start seems so long ago, crazy days I tell ya!
Ferrals hope you survived the Trick or Treaters last night!! Sounds like funn seeing all the kids dressed up! I remember doing that when I lived in Melb as a child. So fun. We were so naughty too! Hope they treated you well, and your babes had some treats left oer to munch on X
You seem to be going so well with everything that you are doing, have definately got your mind set on a big goal, and I'm sure after all of this hard work you have put in, you will reap the rewards X how is the bird food goi'n anyway ;)
I really look up to you ATM, you are my inspiration for Jan10 if I am to do the IVF. Which I think I will.
Ric I hope you are feeling ok babes X
Matthew'smum are you testing anytime soon?? I so wish I could cave.
Eliselouise hope you had a nice weekend X
Bookworm hope you enjoyed your DVD night, are you testing yet either??
Emmy, Budgi, Juleswa, Cherished, Coco, Craftymummy, and everyone else in the tribe of lovelies (sorry missed you) XX Hope you are all doing well.
AFm I had a melt down yesterday, had the worst AF like cramping all day, constant not letting up until late in the evening, thaught I had AF Flow a couple times running to the dunny pad in hand, only to have nothing there. Just watery stuff. But realisticly i know what is trying to show, and not happy about it at all!
Itchy boobs came back late last night, putting i down to the hot weather now.
I went outside to pat my dogs goodnight at about 1130ish, and had a very nasty cramp/stitch in my right side which put me to my knees for about 2mins, then dissapeared.
Only feeling a dullish crampiness today, nothing like yesterday, but have that awfull feeling still.
Still haven't told DH about these cramps cuz I don't wan't both of us depressed. He is my sweetheart X

Hey ladies just a little hint if you do long posts sometimes belly belly logs you out so before you submit your post right click over your last word and highlight all your writting then left click to open a box and click on copy so if you lose your post you can just log back in hit reply and press the ctrl button and V button at the same time then all your writting will reappear my hubby showed me that cause i take forever to post i get interupted all the time and have to come back to it and then i am logged out it is a pain to have to rewrite it.
SPF-five days and counting if AF is on time.
Murrycod-hang in there not long now and i pray you dont have to do ivf it is very stressfull all the waiting and uncertainty and everything has to perfect or they cancel it on you and you cant do back to back cycles and then the numbers game of how high or low hormones are how many follicles you have how many eggs you have than how many are mature then how many fertilise to how many make it to day 5 blast to be transfered it is a horrible process but one that we pit ourselves through to have our babies.
-
sorry ferrals i think you have to highlight the words using left click, then right click over the words to click copy (think you just did a little typo). why does that sound so much harder to type it than it is to do it?!? i always do it as my computer sometimes shows error messages then closes windows for no reason. i would also add maybe you could then copy something else after posting just in case some sneaky person might control v to see what you have been typing.... or maybe i am being over cautious there lol
murraycod, hang in there!!! i really hope it's your month!
snugglybean i did think the bleeding was going to stop 6 days post op then it came back but today it's very light. hope it's coming to the end of it now :crossfingers:

Evening everyone,Scarypinkfairy-hope the bleeding has stopped,i'm testing on Thursday, thanks for asking...Ferrals-you're doing so much to help yourself, good on you...Twinsister-Good luck ...Murraycod-fingers still crossed for you, there is still a chance.I'm testing on Thursday with you,so lets bring in a daily double ,if anyone else is testing on the 5th,we could always go for a trifecta for the day...Craftymummy-how are you?
-
Thanks for all your advise re the making an appointment with a FS even know we don't know if/when we will need it.
Scarypinkfairy I am having a lap and dye and hysterscope and investigation for secondary infertility and a good look around as I have alot of Left sided pain which is the side my only tube lives. Ive been so worried about hydrosalphinx (?spelling) and wondering if that is what cause my ectopic pregnancy and m/c before the ectopic.
I am praying not as if it is Ill have to have my tube removed and that will leave me with none
Hello to everyone. Just a quickie for me. Ive been camping and Im filthy and need a wash and a decent sleep in my own bed.

Oh, man, the pregnancy convention continues. MIL was on the phone today, "oh, guess what, love? Cousin X is expecting on May 10." This cousin and I used to talk abotu whose turn it was next, we both agreed it would be me, she wasn't ready. Only it's not. And she's due on the day I got my BFP. ****.
Apart from that, I have had such a beautiful weekend. Spent with good friends, perfect balance between being active and relaxing, plenty of good wine too! I helped at a cake stall for Breast Cancer Foundation and got a cool new shirt as a thankyou. :)
SPF - it's a tricky thing to worry about, isn't it? Whether or not to see someone, I know I was thinking "if it hasn't stopped tomorrow..." for quite a few days!
murraycod - could still go either way, mate! Jan 9th is my official all-clear date, but as you know we're being a little cheeky about that one! I am pretty fit, but it's cause I used to be fat. I have lost 23kg since my heaviest, and I have to work pretty hard just to be a sie 12. Sucks. But I do it - I don't do any activity that I don't love!
So, another week begins! Hope it's good for you all...
-
Evening Ladies well I guess its morning already for some of you !
Murraycod hang in there it can feel like your going to start AF when your little one burrows in for the long haul so I think you will be ok and itchy boobs is a good sign one of my strongest symptoms has been a horrible taste in my mouth even after brushing your teeth tastes a bit like a metal spoon is constantly in your mouth. so keep proding those boobies and stay off the loo I told you how hard it will be these 2 weeks are nearly over then you will know ! :D
Matthews mum got my :crossfingers: for you too and bookworm ! we need some BFPs in here its getting a bit scary now all of us TTC and no BFPs like someone said the other day feels like the lotto and I didn't buy my ticket !
spfairy hang in there mine lasted on and off for weeks as you know mostly brown watery and pinky rather than bright red so see how you go its still eary days really and it takes a while to sort your system out again as you know mine took ages but seems ok now 9 wks later !
AFM had the most dreadful headache for 4 days now dizzyness and blurry vision and feeling sick so don't know whats goin on maybe the VITEX doesn't agree with me or maybe its just me not sure but feel a bit sorry for myself , due to start using those opk
sticks soon just wish this damn headache would give me a break never had migraines before but think this is one long one !
goodnight all im off to my bed ! roll on 5th of nov lets see some BFPS
