Oh Mel - please put us out of our misery and go get a stronger test. What a blast if both of us are pg. Faint could be just so early, so many people get faint tests and go on to have healthy little bubs. :pray: for you. I used discover one step this time and it came up so much darker then the tests I used for my angel (can't remember the brand name - but I know it was different):crossfingers: for you hun, and I've got everything else crossed as well.

Mel - OMG that is great news. Definitely go get a better brand of test if you can and then try again (although will waiting again for FMU be best?????) As i said before, i am a big fan of first response which you get from woolies (or safeway) - if one of those is near by. And the cramping could very well be your body making room for your little one to grow in there. I'm so excited for you. I know that it is worrying, but please try to take this pregnancy as its own and not worry about what happened last time (I know, easier said then done - but its best to try) I have faith that its going to be ok this time. *hugs*
Coco - sorry to hear that you think you are out.. are you using cheapie internet tests? (I didn't have any luck with them at any point.. i think i bought duds) Your temp still seems pretty high?? I am still hopeful that it will be a sneaky one for you xx
Mel - with this sticky baby my line was fainter than it was with my angel baby. o I wouldn't worry about it being faint (my DH couldn't see the line and said I just wanted it to be true, even the Doc was skeptical when I showed her the stick but she humoured me and did a bloodtest that showed I was indeed pregnant). I would buy another brand of test because 2 different types of tests can't both be wrong! sooooo hoping this is your forever baby!

Boble, Yeah Im using ones I bought from mumstheone. I dont know, I thought my temps would go right down this morning and AF would be here. I still have spotting today :tmi: so far it has been like dark purple and scarce. Im sure she is coming but the temps are throwing me...
I mentioned the other day that I played with another software for temping and it gave me a totally different date for ovulation being CD15 as opposed to CD11 and If so, then that correlates with the maybe baby but not the OPKS..I was getting positive results from monday and the darkest one on late wed aft. or thurs. :wall: I dont have other AF signs.. no cramping.. *shrug* Still in my heart I think im out...

Boble thanks for your message I was still holding onto a little bit of hope after reading it by I'm with Coco, I think I'm out, since my post earlier I have started to get what I would call a light flow not spotting anymore. Still so surprised I had a regular 30 day cycle (even though 'o' was heaps later). AND no af pains or signs such as sore bb's. I put light bleeding into ff and it automatically started a new cycle:(
So I'm now going to the supermarket to buy ingredients to make a couple of different types of spelt cookies Yummmo (perhaps some chocolate ones!)I made my own spelt bread for the 1st last night too and it turned out great! So chuffed with myself :lol:

Yay Mel - my line was so so faint as well any 2nd line is a BFP. It can only be there with HCG so it looks like you caught that little egg hun....:dance:.
I know what you mean though.... I was doing 3-4 POAS tests each day to see if it was my eyes or not ... The POAS companies made a forutne from me those firs few weeks hehe:lol:

AFM: well i o yesterday sorry :TMI:. But we both fell asleep on the lounge last night and we tried but no sure he made it as he was so so tired from work. ( no kids and utter exhaustion from my big crying event yesterday damn that women.) so i don't know how successful we will be I am so angry at myself 5 tablets 3 ultrasounds 2 mature eggs and i think we still managed to stuff it up :wall:
We did BD on Friday night and will dtd again late this afternoon or tonigh....so there is still a chance :dunno:

Mel - I'd go out and get another brand of test. I got my BFP at 16DPO with Pregnosis which you can get from the chemist. They can test HCG as low as 25. Mine was faint but it was definite. My understanding is that evap lines usually show after the recommended waiting time, which is why a postive shouldn't be read after 10 minutes or so. If you are seeing a second line within 10 minutes I would take that as positive. Maybe the cheapie internet tests aren't as sensitive, so go out and get yourself a more sensitive test. Please! I'm :pray: that this is it for you.

Cherished-Every woman recovers differently from d&c I believe. Your body will work things out. You never know, you may be UTD! Hope so! My first 'real' AF after my d&c was VERY HEAVY and PAINFUL. You could be different though.

I'm back! Thanks so much for all your support and encouragement, it means the world to me! You'll be hearing from me alot this week especially with DH away.
Well, I went and saw my best friend today (she has 2 children) as I needed some advice. I took my test up to show her and she said it is a definite positive and she got the same faint line with her first pg when she was 5 or 6 weeks and her DD is now almost 4 years old. That made me feel alot better.
Haven't had too many symptoms, just peeing alot and very hungry! My bbs are a bit sore but they have been sorer in other cycles where I haven't been pg. DH is trying not to get his hopes up until we get confirmation from the Dr which I can understand. The 2nd line id definitely there though, I keep going and checking it every 5 minutes :rolleyes:
I am so sorry to post all of this on here, especially when some of you have just got AF. I feel so bad but don't know where else to go as I am not definite it is positive yet. I want to believe but I am so scared.
I just went and brought a First Reponse test but I am too scared to do it! Not sure whether to do one now or save it for the morning. I did buy 2 tests.
HannahD - That has made me feel better since you were 16 DPO and still got a faint line and look at your ticker go! I only think I am 14 DPO due to maybe baby but I could be completely wrong and might be only 10-12 DPO. Because I am not temping and my cycles have been all over the place I have no idea! Love your AVI! How do you get one?

A friend of mine is, gee... 6 months pregnant and her hubby was away for 5 days leading up to O... they dtd the night before he left and when he came back (but that was the day after O)... so that little spermie was waiting patiently in there for 5 to 6 days... it is possible! Please don't lose hope just yet *hugs*

All our gorgeous newly pregnant ladies - what are your EDD's? if you dont' mind me asking. If I fall pregnant this cycle then my due date is likely to be around the 8th Jan... or there abouts, i think.. Maybe the 5th because it looks like I O'd earlier this cycle hehe.. i love thinking about what could be :D
AFM - well, we have had a pretty busy day today as well. DH, DS and myself did the grandparents run today, visiting my grandmother and grandfather and also my Nan. My grandparents on my mums side are still in pretty good shape but my nan looks so frail - skin and bone really - and she can't see anymore. I didn't really want to go and see her because she always treated my cousins as the favourites (didn't even bother hiding the fact really... quite sad) but im sure if something was to happen to her i would feel quite bad that i hadn't seen her for nearly a year (since our wedding in May) so we did it.. We then took DS for icecream at baskin and robins. we were meant to go to ten pin bowling but since he jammed his fingers in the car door he wouldn't be able to bowl. He wasn't happy, but was happier once he got the ice cream. So DH is outside mowing the lawn now and I am relaxing a bit.
I have had a bit of spotting on and off all day. not a lot.. Its now sort of like watery cm but its light brown in colour. Yesterday I didn't have any spotting but a little bit of watery cm. (sorry if tmi). the day before that it was like creamy cm that was light brown in colour. I do wish it would just go away completely.
anyway, thats enough of a novel from me. xx

I just used the first response test and all I got was a shadow of a line again. It wasn't as dark as the line I got this morning with the internet test. So confused now. The worst thing is I have no idea how many days past o I am (not for sure anyway) so it could be that I am testing too early.
Think I might wait a couple of days and test again. Wish I hadn't done the other test now! I just read some reviews on oracle (the test I used this morning) and first response and oracle had the best reviews.
Aarrgh! So unsure what to think now :(
the difference is because your urine would be more diluted at this time of the day hun. Please don't stress.. 2 lines is 2 lines which means you have hcg in your system. and it is hard not to worry, I know, especially without knowing how many days past O you are.
Maybe try the first response with fmu tomorrow and if you still aren't sure I will post you another one! I just wish there was something I could say to make you feel a little better. :hug:
Mel, a shadow of a line was all I got with my BFP! try and keep positive, I would go and get a bloodtest at your docs tomorrow because it will definetly show up on a bloodtest if you are preggers, so hard, confusing, exciting, terrifying at the same time!!!

mel: I did the same thing, i took 7 tests in to my dr to show him and I had one negative and I was soooo upset lol It was just because it was later in the day that it didnt show up. Take the test tmo morning, you'll see ;)

Mel- I was 11 dpo when I got a VERY faint line and the doc did a bloodtest that same afternoon.
Mel - Just wanted to let you know with this pg i had 2 neg tests at 14dpo then very light test 2 days later, took about 6 tests before the line got darker. I would agree the other test would be lighter because not fmu :hug:

AFM - Bit naughty and I did a due date calculator (as much as I could as I am a little unsure about my cycle). Anyway if I am pg then I would be due to 27/28 December! Sorry, I know I should wait and post in the PAML but I don't want to do that until I have it confirmed with a blood test not to mention I could never leave you girls. If I do get confirmation I will still post on here but only to leave persies!
Think I am still feeling unsure as apart from peeing all the time (and I mean all the time), a little dizzy and slightly sore and large bbs I really have no symptoms.
I will be back later to see how you are all going. Might make a Dr's appointment for this week sometime. Poor DH is devastated he won't be able to go with me as we have been waiting for this moment for so long but hopefully I can call him with some good news. He is a little funny about it at the moment as we have had our hopes dashed before and he won't believe it until we have a positive blood test.

I seriously think Im not going to tell Anthony until I have it all confirmed. I would actually liek to not tell him at all and wait till I can have an Ultrasound at 7 weeks to check for a heartbeat and make sure it isnt a chem pregnancy. Whats everyone elses stance on it?

Mel, that sounds really promising :dance: I'd be making that drs appt soon too to get an HCG done! Mine was only 184 on 15DPO so not super high, I never did a HPT to compare so can't comment on that unfortunately, but you have to start somewhere KWIM? BTW, I had no symptoms until 6 weeks except for a few extra veins in my bb's and needing to get up in the middle of the night to pee, and with DD the only symptom I had was needing to pee more often.

Megsmum - Thanks, that makes me feel heaps better. My best friend who has 2 children actually told me today she didn't think the line was that faint. I will call my FS tomorrow to see when I can get in. Just scared about finding out my HCG levels in case they are low. I just know I won't cope well with that and also with DH away will make it worse. I know I need to think positive though. We are closer than we have been in 20 months :dance: I have been peeing almost every 30 minutes and I did notice a few veins in my bbs. I have also felt a few twinges and had back pain tonight but I am hoping that is our baby making a nice comfy home :)
Coco - Aww, sweetie :hug: I am still not giving up on you until AF shows her face :noaf:. On telling your DH, that is your decision but I couldn't keep it from mine and he has had to put up with so much from me I feel he deserves to be there every step of the way. Plus he would be devastated if I kept it from him. But only you know your DH as everyone is different. :pray: you get your BFP soon.
AFM - Think the shock has finally worn off as I burst into tears a while ago. Happy tears. Just a mixture of happiness, excitement, relief and a little anxiety. Although trying not to get too far ahead of myself until I get the blood tests results and know for sure.

Mel - I understand the worry about getting your levels checked :hug: Really I do, it was one of the things that I hated about IVF and AC - they tested you when AF was one day late and there was no escaping it. I would have rather buried my head in the sand for the first couple of weeks to save myself the worry! And I hear you about DH being away too, mine is away in Melbourne now until Thursday night and I have an ob appt tomorrow :pray: He's ringing me as soon as he gets a chance to make sure we are all fine because he worries as much as I do :rolleyes: But anyway enough about me....think of it this way, if your levels are good then you can worry a bit less instead of wondering if things are OK. And don't forget to make sure that they check your prog levels too!
That was another thing that I had forgotten about too, the night after I got my BFP I had terrible cramps in the tummy - and I had them with DD too. Your twinges could be another very good sign :pray:

I POAS again this morning (at 3 am so can't get any more FMU than that!). The line is a little darker this morning but still not as dark as I would like to ease my fears. Not complaining though, I'll take it!

Coco, when are you testing? I would never be able to keep a secret of any sort from my DH let alone such a biggy... I don't even want to test without him being there because I want him to share every step of the ttc journey. I even put the test dates on our calender so he knows when to look forward to and he has a link to my ff page, just to keep him involved and excited about dtd when the time is right. Ok that really turned into "all about me then" sorry! You will make the right decision for you :D
Boble I'm so happy you are still inthe running for a BFP this month, have you got any sysptoms? What is your feeling about this being your month?
AFM I am feeling great apart from about 3 tears yesterday when the reality of af set in :crying: but I know pg was a long shot anyway straight after the D&C. If there was any doubt as to a light flow or spotting yesterday today it has been answered with a 'heavy' af this morning. Still stoked I have no pain, no sore bb's and I'm only a 'little' irritable. I'm also stoked that it was a VERY short ttw (like half the time) and now my next 'o' will not be far away so I can't wait to try again!

It's SO hot here today--just checked online and it says it's currently 79 degrees--and we live about 7 miles north of where they take the temps, and it's always hotter up here. AFM--Wanted to share DF's skydive from yesterday with you girls! It's an exciting one because he got his A license, which means he's no longer a student! The beginning of the video is me recording. Then it switches over to a camera that DF had mounted on his helmet, which is very cool, since it's the first time he's ever done it, so it's the first time he's been able to show things from his perspective while under canopy! The only bummer is that the date and time on his helmet cam were wrong, and there was no way to fix it once he made the video. But hey, any jump where he walks away is a good jump! Hope you enjoy it!
