It was a shadow line I was seeing yesterday..I did read about them on peeonastick.com and I had a big drop today and reddish stuff when I wiped so Im out. Im ok because as i mentioned, i already accepted it when i was spotting the other day and Ive just been waiting for it to hurry up!

Jen - nope, what you see is everything I have entered. I don't check my cervix (wouldn't even know what I was feeling). I will go and change it back and re-enter it and see what ff says.

Coco - Sorry hun, It's always a bummer when AF (or RF) shows up. Just remember miracles happen. I was told only a fortnight ago that I would need IVF to be able to fall pg. This one was conceived naturally with only the help of metformin because I have PCOS. The script for Ferara is still beside my bed, along with the request forms for Day 3 and day 21 blood tests (along with the request form for DH's sperm analysis).

Im in good spirits, I dealt with the onset of AF (whats rb? and rf?) on saturday when spotting started. Just worried though that I think DH is going to be away again during the fertile phase this month.

Coco honey so sorry I haven't responded to this, I was too excited that you might get your bfp.... I'm not sure when my closure came, I think it was as soon as the spotting stopped after the D&C because I was back into temping and ttc. In fact it seems like a life time ago that I was pg and that the whole thing happened! But I've just looked it up and it was only 5 weeks yesterday that we found out we lost the bub... I dropped into my old belly buddy thread yesterday to say hello and one of them was saying that they were 16 weeks... I hadn't even thought of how far along I would have been! I am so focused of the one I will have forever and don't want to be in that energy of 'what if I were still pg, where would I be now' But hey ask me in Oct when the EDD comes around.... If I am not well & truly pg I might feel differently! It's still early days for me. However we get closure doesn't really matter as long as we get.... Love and hugs to you all :grouphug::
I agree that our bodies should just get pg!!! It's supposed to be easy according to the stern faced teacher in sex ed :rofl: ahhhhh the scare tactics, they should just had out condoms and be done with it!
Cherished: werent you in my belly thread? Due oct 1-15? I was due on 15th Oct and I feel the same as you..unless im pregnant Im going to be upset on that day. I know i will as much as i try to think positive, it will be a difficult day. Bravo for going into that thread! I would not even be able to look in there...I had a ticker on my facebook that counted the babies growth and I stupidly looked at it about a month ago and lost my cool. I deleted it as was what i was doing in the first place but I wasnt planning to look at it.. ugh..Im ok i think now but just guess i dont want to speak to ppl at work or family or anything about it. denial is my coping mechanism still and im going well :)
Dr Phil has that lady with octuplets on...I hate her right now...:wall: I know she didnt plan to have 8 babies and it was an ivf mirical whatever...its not something i am enjoying seeing her be so blase` about.. anyone else feel a bit off about that?
yep Coco... it *****s me.. it *****s me to tears! I am having a bad day today and I am cranky.. very very cranky... especially after my DH just informs me that one of my best friends brand spanking new husbands messaged him asking him for $100 to borrow. Now, sure - help a friend out and all that jazz - but im p!ssed that SHE didn't ask ME! we have been friends for 10 odd years and she doesn't even ask me herself - and I was just talking to her on msn 30 minutes ago. Im so angry with her right now. (fairly sure I have well and truely found my :pms: ). Last time she borrowed money from me it took me begging and pleading with her to give it back about 6 months later because I was short of cash... so I am sure that whatever we give them we will not see again :( just what we need while trying to save for our recurrent m/c testing. sorry for the rant - im normally a very giving person - which is probably why they came to us... because normally I would just hand it over without a 2nd thought.... but today I am just not feeling the love. argh! Also the fact that they are complaining they have no money and she just bought herself a new iphone :o they don't want for any material possessions - they are always buying crap they don't need.. maybe to help them out i should pay for a budgeting seminar or something like that. ok, sorry really done with that now. :redface:
Cherished - good for you for going back into your Belly buddy thread. After my first m/c I had said that all i wanted was to be preg before my due date.. well, although that did come true unfortunately I lost our little one a month before our due date. I would have been smack bang on 12 weeks on our due date - i thought it was all meant to be. Now we are coming up to 12 months since we even started TTC... and we have one due date down and another fast approaching in August. who knows what the future holds.. hopefully it is heaps of sticky bfp's soon.

I?m back, finally have had problems with my bellybelly account and one of my posts last week wasn?t sent, (was suspended for a few days). All good now.
First thing I wanted to do was congratulate Fifi on the arrival of her baby boy, Charlie!! big hugs and glad all went with the birth, looking forward to viewing some pix.
Also Mel I believe you have a BFP!!!! Great news!!! Congrats I got a faint line with all 3 of my pg?s so long as there is a line even a faint one my doc told me its def a pregnancy!

Jen ? skydiving!!! I was going to give that as a birthday gift to hubby earlier this month but couldn?t quite afford it at the time due to us going to Sydney over the Easter break, I?ve done it years and years ago and I loved it! Glad he did too.
Boble ? I too had some conflicting info this cycle from FF, they are saying that I O?d on Saturday when I know that I O?d on Sunday because my temp on Monday skyrocketed up by 0.41deg and my acupuncturist agrees with me. FF have put it down as a dotted line because my temp today was 0.20deg lower than yesterday but I know I?m right and I?m sticking with that.
Am now on my TWW after a BDing marathon this past weekend, my acupuncturist wants a copy of my FF chart 2 days before AF is due to arrive as she wants to check that my progesterone is doing what its supposed to and if not that I should go get the Prog levels checked by my GP and if needs be get suppositories or injections to boost it. Has anyone else had this done? I?m also on these disgusting herbs Dang Gui and Peony and I?ve also been given other chinese herbs to help with phase one of my fertility cycle and a relaxation CD pre ovulation and post ovulation, I think great, whatever will get me the BFP I so want I?ll do anything.

Jen - I had a little peek at DF's skydiving video, hope you don't mind? Very very cool! :D
But also wanted to post to Mannie - I've done both prog pessaries and Pregnyl injections to boost prog levels in the luteal phase, I had heaps of problems with too short a LP despite levels being OK on the 7DPO prog BT. Pessaries are super easy, although they are pretty icky and messy (a panty liner is a must LOL). I used to buy them thru the fertility clinic for about $150 for 2 weeks worth and claim them back from my PHI. The Pregnyl (HCG injections) protocol varies depending on the dr prescribing it, but I was on 3 injections 2DPO, 5DPO and 8 DPO. They are a bit ouchy and you may have to inject them yourself - I'm used to injecting because I have diabetes - but its pretty easy once you get the hang of it. My PHI wouldn't give me anything back for the Pregnyl but at only $45 for the 3 injections I wasn't too worried. I believe too that there is some form of injectable progesterone too, but don't really know anything about it, my clinic didn't use it.
The other thing with any form of LP support such as this, is that you will feel pg in the TWW!! Ignore all symptoms because it is the medication messing with your head! But I know all too well the feeling of putting up with whatever it takes to get a BFP, I hope yours is just around the corner hun :hug:

well i have news. I have booked in for the recurrant m/c testing program with sydney ivf. I have decided to go ahead with it. I have my first appointment at 4pm this thursday. Just a phone appointment. Unfortunately they said because it is a phone apointment it is not claimable back on medicare.. but oh well. Its $160. so not too bad. So.. that will mean that we won't be ttc for next month so that we can get it done (if they get it started when I get AF this time around) so.. thats my news.

thanks for the info Megsmum, I thought you needed to have a script written by your GP to get the pessaries??, does this mean I can just go into the fertility clinic and buy them without a script? And did you get BT for prog during the TWW?
Boble - I also had a face to face meeting with Dr Gavin Sacks at Sydney IVF in late Dec 2008 and he was very reassuring, I had all my blood test results and he gave me info on how to regulate my TSH (Thyroid) which is what was causing my miscarriages. He is very good, they are all great there, my friend just did IVF with them and on her first attempt fell pg she is now 11 weeks!!! Goodluck with all your testing!
Thanks Mannie and Coco.. its funny coz i was putting it off - I just didn't want to deal with it - and most importantly didn't want to stop ttc while it was getting done. Plus it is kinda exxy... but I feel like maybe its the next thing I need to do.
Hi Boble - you and I shared a few exchanges about the RC MC program with SIVF recently on a thread you started. I wish you all the luck with this :goodluck:. I am really glad I invested in it before pouring bucket-loads of $'s into IVF :) It has made my current PG a lot less stressful ;)
Mannie - I think Jen has posted about this before but Vitamin B6 is mean't to be good for extending your luteal phase and also for balancing estrogen and progesterone levels. They sell the pills of 25mg at the chemist (pretty inexpensive) and I've read up to 100mg a day is safe. More than that for a prolonged period is not mean't to be good for you. There will be some in your ttc multivitamin, but it is generally in small doses in those.
Coco - Sorry to read about the unwelcome arrival of AF/RB :hug:
Mannie - Yep you will need a script from your GP, that's right. I would also think that a GP is more likely to give you the pessaries than Pregnyl too, I think the Pregnyl is more of a FS thing KWIM? I'm pretty sure you can't just walk into a clinic and get them, because when you are with a clinic you are also under the care of an FS with the clinic if that makes any sense? So basically your FS is the doctor prescribing them even though you don't have a script. And yes I did have a 7DPO prog BT done when on the pessaries but not when on the Pregnyl. And I should say that both of them were very effective at lengthening my LP. Good luck, happy to help!
boble - Yay for deciding to go ahead with the program, I know from my perspective I just wanted to make sure all bases were covered when we TTCed again after my m/c, and this sounds like an excellent way of ruling out any potential problems. Good luck hun!
Do you think that a high Estrogen diet is cause for a shorter luetal phase aswell? I have got 2 books on fertility and diet and they talk about lowering your intake of foods that are high in estrogen, or maybe its not that they have estrogen so much as they make your estrogen soar..should have written that first sorry..
I googled it and it had something on there about it. I didnt take a great deal of care with my diet last cycle admitedly so i will be being more careful this time!! Everything helps!
Coco - Yeah I've heard that theory too, I think it could be for some ladies but I'm pretty sure it wasn't in my case. I had full cycle tracking done and my oestrogen levels were totally normal in both phases of my cycle (except for one mental cycle that I had :rolleyes:), it just seemed like there was some problem with prog production not lasting for as long as it should. But I *think* that if the oestrogen levels stay too high in the luteal phase, then maybe you will have ovulation or implantation problems happening - it does drop a bit after ovulation has happened. Or maybe its more a problem of oestrogen vs prog levels in the luteal phase as I know some of the IVF ladies (myself included) have had pretty high oestrogen levels at egg pick up, but we then also had higher than normal prog levels after egg pick up.
In the end, I'll never really know what my problem was - I've always had shortish cycles and I think in the end that my age didn't help with the hormone problems, as we never had any problem conceiving DD naturally 5 years ago. I don't know.....
And I agree with WTH, wouldn't hurt to give the B6 a go either, when I used it I got an extra day added to my LP, which still wasn't enough for me to fall pg, but in someone else could just be the difference. I found some 100mg ones at a local health food shop, PM me if you want the name I see you live not too far away from me ;)

shortcake - Every pg is different so there is always a chance before AF shows her face. You may not get the same symptoms as before. I have stopped myself from second guessing every symptom as I don't want to have the same symptoms as last time (iykwim?).
Jen - Couldn't get the stupid camera to work anyway, it wouldn't focus. It's a big, new fancy one. Where is DH when I need him? He is my technical go to guy! I love your accent! Sounds like busy times are ahead for you, at least time will go quickly until your Dr's appointment. Remember to look after yourself :hug:
Boble - Whilst FF is great I wouldn't always trust what it says. If you had a restless night then that could effect your temp. I'd listen to the chart whisperer ;) As for your friend, I really wouldn't feel comfortable lending them the money but it is your decision. I am so happy you have decided to have the tests, good luck sweetie.

AFM - So sorry I didn't get back last night. I just couldn't look at the computer screen so I took a couple of panadol and went to bed. I tried to post this morning and our internet was down! Thanks for all your help with the panadol question, I was pretty sure I could as SIL is a pharmacist but I was still unsure and felt guilty taking it (iykwim?). I had struggled all day to the point where I was almost throwing up. I am still not quite ready to post the big BFP yet (want to wait until official confirmation) but I am feeling more and more like I am pg. I feel so bad as our baby deserves me to believe from day one but I am just so scared of getting my hopes up. When I woke up this morning though my bbs were so much rounder and fuller and a bit veiny. I have had a day full of anxiety today, feel heaps better now I have read lower back pain is very common in early pg. I just associate with AF so it freaks me out a little. Had a mini breakdown last night and poor DH had to calm me down. Just being alone with my thoughts I got a bit carried away.........And I couldn't even post to you girls as I could hardly open my eyes!
I am sitting in my pj's writing this (I changed into them straight after work). Better go, dinner is in the oven and I am starving.

Mannie - I agree wouldn't hurt to give the B6 a go, it is not real expensive especially compared to the pessaries. Like I said in my last post, I got an extra day to my LP by using it, you never know it could be of help! And now that I think about it, I reckon the tabs were 50mg not 100mg, I'm pretty sure I was taking 2 a day along with a TTC multivitamin which had hardly any B6 in it. HTH :)

Good evening lovely ladies well obviously if I complain and mope enough it brings on my AF she finally arrived so far looking like a proper AF thatnk goodness I was getting sooo very stressed over the last few days things are a little quieter around here lol not after one evening still days to catch up on wow. Today I went for my massage and I am felling a lot more positive maybe it a combo of AF and the massage she did some emotional work as well and it sounds weird but I don't feel as empty I feel like today it was okay to say goodbye to my baby (9 weeks after M/C) and I am ok I am not as scared to fall preg again mind you until I see the double line I will probably be different then but I am really hoping for a good month even though my mind is thinking for all us girls who fall tcc soon it will be a horrible 40 degree summer to go through but that will be the least of our worries I am sure take care have a wonderful evening my ds and dd need to go to bed so I can relax I am thinking. :bluedust::pink-babydust::stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy: Let April be the month :pray:

AFM- Not feeling well on my stomach today. Not sure if this is a good sign or not. Does anyone have any suggestions on how many dpo you should test? I'm just going crazy and wish I knew.
boble--Ok, I've decided that ff is whacked this month!!! :wtf: Now MY O day has been changed from CD12 to CD17! Still have the same conception score, so chances are still the same, but I don't believe it one bit! :rolleyes: I think ff is feeling a bit hormonal this month! :wall:

Skydiving wedding :o one of my friends boy friends tell me they are having a naked skydiving wedding.... but that is only because I am trying to marry her off and have told them the 3rd April next year will be a beautiful day for a wedding... but they have only been together a couple of months so I guess its a little too soon :lol:

Shortcake - They say th best time to test is the day after your AF is due but I got my BFP at 11dpo so maybe you could do a test in a few days, if it is a BFN then test the next day or wait a few days.
Mel - I read your AFM and some of it could be written by me. I've also got back pain, stomach twinges, headaches and I'm sooooooo tired. Even before I started work for the day, i'm so ready to go back to bed. Still so scared that something will go wrong, but I guess that's natural with what we've been through. So excited that finally I've got my BFP and a bub on the way. What a special birthday pressie for me and I'm so looking forward to Christmas this year. All the symptoms are so different to last time, and I'm holding on to that. I'm guessing the back pain and twinges are so normal, our bodies have so much to adjust to in the first couple of weeks, I guess there has to be some payback. My DH doesn't say much at the moment, I think he's either in denial or self-preservation. Just so hoping that I can get through at least the next four weeks, maybe then we can breathe easier and manage to get through a H & H 9 months.
Jen - how exciting a flying wedding (maybe you could put that idea to DF). Imagine if it was your first jump :rofl:

Hello again.... I missed perssies on heaps of stuff the other day and I can't remember who but someone was saying about a friend who borrows money all the time and doesn't give it back... I think it may have been boble? That totally sucks! I never lend money to anyone and everyone I know would not even ask because the answer would be "no I can't... as you know we have a budget which both dh and I stick to religiously... Perhaps ask you parents!" Wink wink nudge nudge!!!! Yeah have a budget yourself!!! HTH :lol: oh btw boble ff has totally lost the plot! your o was on CD17 I think.
Shortcake there are many sensitive test that say you can test as early as 10 DPO but I would wait a little longer, really until you have missed your period (if you can wait that long!) I hope your sickness is a good sign :pray:
Mel when I was pg I had the worst headache one day and DH was at work and my parents were staying with us on holidays. I had to get into bed and it got so bad I rang up dh crying cause it was horrible and I didn't want to take anything. Anyway by the time he got home I was SO up set and crying like crazy (making it worse no doubt) and he looked up on the net that panadol was totally fine. I'm sure all of my distress would have been worst for the baby than taking a couple of panadol so I will know what to do next time! I can't wait to see your official BFP :dance:

cherished - hello there lovely. I think I am going to have to be a bit more like you in the giving money out to people thing. We are trying to save - and the $1500 for the recurrent m/c testing is going to take a chunk out of our savings - so it is a fair call i think - in the end he was able to get an extension from c/link or something... so we didn't have to worry about it in the end.
I hope I did O on cd 17 :) at least we are in with a chance then - or even cd20 -i would be happy with that :lol:

Now I only have 1 estrogen pill morning and night instead of 2. I will be in for a FET on the 8th of May which is so soon I think I waited a month last time (could be wrong)
Why do they always change things? is the process really getting better or they playing with us? hmmmmmm I know in different states different things happen but I want to know WHY. Now I'm sounding like my 3 year old nephew... but why?!?
I am excited though. I'm hoping DP can have an RDO to attend this one (hasn't been able to yet). I think I'll have the day off too this time. I know it makes no difference but it would be nice relax and let things settle down over the weekend.
