Well girls I have been away on a working holiday ( mind you there was no holiday that came with it ;) )
And Yes AF arrived on the day after we got there. I am now on cycle day 6 and started my clomid yesterday. So hears hoping....If no baby this cycle then DH and I have agreed to IVF..... Was reading the clomid increases the risk of eptopic so now I am truly worried .......already have higher chances with the TR of that happenning!!!. My temp chart is now stuffed I think as the airline lost our baggage we had a call last night and we hope it should be here by tomorrow.
But we are now at least partly the way back on track with ttc. :crossfingers:
Be back later....
Em

sally--Sending some more AF vibes.... try not to put too much pressure on yourself for this Saturday, hon. Would hate to see you let down after putting forth so much hope! I'm  and keeping my fingers crossed for you!
Hannah--Would so much prefer you being pg than me having another chart to stalk! I'm so super happy for you, my 'lil cyber sis! :stickyvibesgirl:
Toccara--My other cyber sis, how was your appt. yesterday? Hope things are well with you, I think of you always!
meh--Best of luck with getting an appt! *hugs*
jenushka--So sorry to hear about your GD & misbehaving glucose levels! I hope the tabs help and you don't end up needing the insulin! So I'm really curious.... can you still pretzel at 29 weeks? lol...
Hey Smelly Mel-- :nahnah: Will miss you while you're away for work--be safe! I've never tried yoga myself, but really enjoyed pilates and also a workout video called Turbo Jam--you could probably google it, it's a killer workout, and really works! Enjoy your 5 days off for Easter! It's snuck up on me this year--I don't have anything yet for the kid's baskets!
Shortcake--:hello:
cherished--What are you doing on here? You should be :bd:
AFM--(finally, I know!)--AF finally gone!! I think DF is happier about it than I am! ROFL...
-
mrzbaby--Oops, somehow missed your post! Saying lots of  that the Clomid brings you your perfect, forever baby!
Have to get started on dinner.... will be back later! :grouphug: for everyone!

Hi Jen! heheheh :goodone: I'm at work, we have been :bd: like crazy! I will be home again in 2 hours so we will be at it again YAY . I was totally excited to see the 2 dark lines, jumping up and down etc, dh thought it was great too so we got right into it YAY!!! He said are you gonna be this excited when you get the 2 lines on the pg test hahahah (I was getting pretty carried away LOL) anyway it's all good... pretty sure I will o tomorrow OMG I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hope to have a health baby (or 2) for christmas!!!
:pink-babydust::bluedust: to all xoxoxo
-
Mel - Personally, I love yoga. Unfortunately, I don't get the time to do it as often as I'd like. It's a great way to relax and to energise. I have a couple of yoga DVDs from a company called Gaiam. I'm not sure if they do one for fertility specifically, but I've got their prenatal one. I like their programs because they often show variations on poses depending on your ability. :goodluck:
Shortcake - I have an appointment with my GP next Thursday. I tried to get in this week, but she's booked out.
cherished - Those signs sound promising. Yay for +OPK! Hope you catch that eggie. :pink-babydust:
Em - I hope the clomid works for you. :bluedust:
jen - :hello: cyber sis. Glad AF is finally gone. I'm  thats her last visit for 9 months. :pink-babydust:
:hello: meh, sally, charm, Eliza, fifi, jenushka, plc, MO3B, megsmum, mollycat, ajc, angel1&2, boble, Krystie and anyone I've not mentioned by name (is it too early to claim pg'cy brain? lol). I'm thinking of you all.
-
Hey all,
Just caught up with all the posts. Sorry I haven't been on last night, feeling crappy as I did another test and still BFN and no sign of AF, so I am not sure what is going on.
DD also didn't sleep well, so I am bit tired now, might have to have a sleep rather than perssies - sorry..
Am going to yoga with a friend tonight, so hopefully that will help with the relaxing and have booked in for a facial on Saturday for some 'me' time. Well, since DH is playing golf on Good Friday, I am taking advantage of him being home on the weekend when usually he works.
Anyway, will try to be back either later or on Thursday.
Have a great day
xx

Maybe I can approach things differently I felt like a nympho though I shall blame my hormones.Today my boss tole me that my body obviously isn't ready so I am praying for a BFP or and AF (A decent one)this month
If I don't get online b4 easter I hope everyone has a great time I am looking forward to family time I don't feel like I have had any quality time with the kids so what better time is there than easter.Happy Easter :D

TTC again!
Hello ladies,
I'm new to forums, this is the first one I've joined. Just feel the need to share and discuss with people who understand. In August 2006 I miscarried at 8 weeks after conceiving on our first try. It then took us two years to conceive again - last August - I held on and held on but when we went for our anomaly scan at 20 weeks they discovered my lovely little one had stopped growing and was not going to live. I delivered him on January 5th and we both got to hold him which was amazing.
So, it's been a rubbish start to the year and now we're on clomid again trying to conceive. I'm on my second cycle of Clomid since I lost the baby and I'm on day 20 with no ovulation but my ovulation predictor has been giving me 'high fertility' since day 9. What's going on? Have any of you got similar experiences with clomid?
-
Good morning lovelies! :grouphug: Will be back later for persies. Have a field trip this morning with DS2's class--going to walk down the street to DF's work, and he's going to take them on a tour of the water/wastewater facility. Then it's minimum day, so have popcorn, smencils, and today is the last day for spring grams.... phew! One less thing on my plate! Anyhow, will be back later! :heartbeat:
MO3B--Thinking of you my kinky cyber twin!
-
Good morning ladies.
The day light savings switch has totally thrown me!! Ive been WIDE awake every morning at 4:45am.... Hoping the school holidays helps me iron that out..
Boble/Charm - enjoy your easter and breaks! Well deserved!!
Jen - enjoy your school trip, When I do trips with my class I am so parinoid Im going to lose one of them so I spend my day re-counting them all day long....
Maybe wear a mask today!!??
Liz - sorry no idea about clomid. Im sure some one will though!!
Rhichichi- enjoy your pamper parts of your weekend and I hope today is a fantastic day!!
Cherished - Yeah!! Good luck with catching that egg.. Cant wait till im there!!!
AFM - Ive really been thinking about how when I do get pg how different I will be during the pregnancy. Of all of this, the termination, fatal nature of the condition for me and lilly, its made me feel like I have been robbed of the joy of having a naive pregnancy.
I was talking to DH last night and every scan I go to now Im going to be expecting them to tell me that something is 'fataly' wrong.
I tried to speak to my sister and she said 'were all like that now, think about cass (Best friend days behind where I was) how do you think her pg is going?"
UM A HELL OF ALOT BETTER THEN MINE MAYBE!!!!!!!!!
Im not cross just so sad I lost that experience.
I understand what my sister is saying but I knew things 'could' happen just still 'never' thought they would happen to me if that makes sense, and now I do...
Sorry that sounds like Im sad, actually not just thinking about it now and thought I would get you guys to reflect for me, people with the experience too..
xxoo
1 DAY TO GO!!! YEAH!
-
Sally, Im so totally there! I understand what you mean about losing the innocence of pregnancy, I said the same thing to my girlfriend who has experienced a loss also. Next time I fall im going to be anxious and scared, and will dread that awful ultrasound! I think when I do fall im going to push my GP to test my HCG every 2-3 days so that we can see the numbers climb, might put me at ease?
Dont overwork yourself either with :bd:, i know its hard to resist though considering!!
AFM Last day of school today and im playing the Easter Bunny! Looking forward to 2 weeks off (shame about $ tho!) :crossfingers: I start next term preggers!
Happy Easter to everyone else, lets make get the most out of it! :confetti:
-
:hello:Sally- I know how you feel hun. We all do... it sucks that alot of people take their pregnancy for granted while all we want is a healthy bub. We are robbed of having a pregnancy were we just are happy being pregnant without worrying if something is wrong. I pray you get your forever baby soon!
Liz- Welcome. Sorry for both of your losses. You have found the most supportive women around. I would love to be able to answer your question but I have not tried OPK's. Hopefully someone else here can help you with that.
Boble-I hope the tribunal goes well for you! Have a good weekend seeing your family!
mrzbaby-Send you lots of baby dust! Hopefully you concieve this month and you don't have to use IVF!
:hello: cherished, jen, hannah, charm, erybery, mollycat, meh, plc, MO3B, coco, mel, mannie, megsmum, WTH, smi, kazaraz, karen van, samandpoppy, easha, julie, theresa, ruthie, pandagirl, and anyone else who I missed!
HAPPY EASTER TO ALL! I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday and I hope it brings many BFP our way!
Lots of :bluedust::pink-babydust::stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
-
hello everyone, I havent posted in here for a while, and there is so much to catch up on.
wishing you all a happy easter and may BFPs be just around the corner for all of us!
sally- I relate totally to your feelings ..i feel a bit cheated, and still get angry and resentful sometimes too.
afm- expecting AF any day now...then probably back to IVF
-
Hey everyone!
Possums: Is it definately over for you this month? If so, good luck with IVf and we're all thinking of you!!
Sunny: I totally know how you're feeling, im just getting through that stage myself. I saw a pic of a girl i went to school with that has 3 kids already with a smoke in her hand while showing her huuuuuge pregnant belly and i screamed!!! stupid woman....
Sally: I understand what you mean about the naievety being lost!! Its awful!!!
Everyone else going through rough patches TTC or in life big hugs and hope you pull through xxx
Everyone waiting to test good luck!! Lets bring on some :bfp: 's!!!
AFM
I got cross hairs today! :leap: After worrying I would ovulate on tueday/wednesday in the middle of his work trip to lithgow, but it says i ovulated when i thought i might have on monday and the intercourse timing thing looks good too!
Im skeptical because i had a few +tive OPK though like one yesterday aswell but not sure if that was because :tmi: my urine was concentrated alot from not drinking much water at all.. or doing it second morning urine? I havent seen ferning on MB but i kinda gave up on that thing.
Talk to you all later!
Coco

Hi all. I'm at work so this is a quick one to get something off of my chest.
sally, you've touched on how I feel at the moment. For the first 2 days after getting my positive test, I was ecstatic. And I was determined to be that way at least until after Easter. But Tuesday I started coming down. I'm no longer feeling the thrill I had Sunday and Monday. I'm not stressing either though. I'm not expecting things to go wrong, but I'm not expecting a happy ending either. I feel....nothing. What's wrong with me that I can't just enjoy this? Like all of us, I've been robbed of the innocence of my first pregnancy.
Then I wonder if its the Zoloft thats making me so numb. And if thats the case, then how do I know if what I feel is real?
I feel so ungrateful. Here I am with the one thing that all of us wants so desperately and I've wanted for so long and I feel nothing. And there's no one I can talk to. I didn't really want to post this here. But I'm not ready to post in any of the pregnancy forums. I don't feel ready for the PAML thread and the Belly Buddies forum is filled with women who still have that naivety. *sigh*
I'll be back for persies tonight. I hope I haven't offended anyone with my vent.
-
coco- thanks and good luck to you
hannah- I just wanted to send you hugs. It is scary and stressful being pregnant, as well as trying to be pregnant! and when you've been through a lot sometimes you get a bit numb i think
and as for me personally, when pregnant, i found it hard in my belly buddy group...I found it hard to deal with the naive excitment of women fortunate enough to still have that feeling! I think when i am finally pregnant again, I may not even join a belly buddy group for that reason. so thats quite normal for you to feel too. and that extends to real life...being jealous of women who are naive and happy and dont really understand what its like for us.
i hope all goes well for you xx
-
Hannah - Don't feel like you're being ungrateful hun, I still have the same feelings about being pregnant as you and Sally mentioned. At least I'm fortunate enough to have had the naive pregnancy with DD, but this time around is very different even at the stage I am at now. Compared to my pregnancy with DD I really haven't enjoyed this one and I feel absolutely awful for saying that :( but I have just been so filled with worry all the time that I can't enjoy it KWIM? Yes I wanted it so much and we had so many troubles achieving it which have changed me forever as a person, but now I have it it feels a bit unreal if that makes any sense?! I still can't quite grasp the fact that I will have a baby at the end of this, it just feels a bit like it won't happen.
Anyway, just wanted to reassure you that there is nothing wrong with you ;) and I'm sure the PAML girls would also say the same thing as me. Whenever you feel like you're up to joining us please do  And this is coming from someone who didn't feel comfortable enough to join until after 16 weeks
To everyone else here, especially all my old buddies, I hope you have a lovely Easter and take care of yourselves xx
-
Hey all,
Just popping into say hi! and wish everyone a lovely Easter. I have people around tomorrow, so won't probably be back until maybe Saturday or Monday.
Hannah - just wanted to say that I felt exactly the way you did during my whole pregnancy with DD, so I don't believe it is the meds you are on. It is a 'normal' feeling when we have gone through such terrible pain. I had suffered 2 m/c's prior to falling pg with DD and when I went to the first appointment to the OBS, I was preparing myself for the worst & told DH not to get his hopes up in case bubs was no longer with us. My OBS was great & sensed I was struggling to believe everything would be ok, so he initially put me on fortnightly visits until I was about 14 weeks(?), after that there was Xmas break, so I didn't see him until my 20 week scan, but he did ask me if I would be ok not seeing him for so long, which I just dealt with. Every appointment & scan I was expecting 'bad' news, but alas it didn't come about & I have a healthy DD. I cannot give you any advice on how to enjoy your pg, I would just take each day, appointment, scan whatever at a time. I'm sorry that I don't have any positive words for you at the moment. xx
AFM, well I just went to the Dr's to get a referral for DD & he asked how I was doing (he always does) and I told him how I was trying to fall pg & that I didn't know when I should do a pg test since my cycles are all over the shop & I have been testing since CD 29 and constant BFN. Anyway, Dr says he doesn't understand why I am testing so much as that will not make me fall pg! I said we are doing what we are suppose to be doing but I am not falling pg & reminded him about my m/c in December. He told me that he doesn't consider me to have difficulty in falling pg and I said ok, but I have trouble staying pg, to which he replied that there is not much he can do about that at this stage. Felt a bit dejected and he said that I should stop concentrating so much on having a baby and just think about having a relaxing life. Point taken, but hey! I can't change my personality and this is one thing I do, stress and overanalyse this type of thing. So here I am on CD 33 and still BFN!
So, now I ask - who is AF visiting ATM cos she is not visiting me and I am convinced she is lurking! Can you send her my way since I doubt that this is my month!
Sorry for the rantish post....
Love to all
xx
-
Welocme Liz I am happy you have found this thread with all of these lovely ladies for support. I don?t have any experience with clomid but some of the other girls have.
Sally I don?t think you are alone with your pregnancy fears, I will be doing my best to stay positive, I think that?s the only option
:hello: possum
Coco hopefully all your other signs will give you clues without relying too much on the OPK
Hello to everyone else!
AFM I was kinda expecting to O today but there was not a temp drop this morning and no sign of EWCM.... BUT I just went to do an OPK (which was totally -) and I had full on EWCM  much more than yesterday so here's hoping for a temp drop tomorrow and one last chance at dtd :goodluck::crossfingers::bd:
-
Rhi - AF is due at my place anyday. Temp drop this morning so I'm sure she'll be here with the Easter Bunny. I know which one I'd prefer to visit. Oh well, at least I'll have a good excuse for all that chocolate.
I'll be back soon for a few more persies - Just need to put the little ones to bed.
-
Sorry I haven't really posted too much on here for a while. The last few weeks have been nail-biting and I have been devoting a bit of time to paranoid posting on the PAML thread.
But just want to let you know I have made it past 12 weeks with what looks to be an absolutely normal PG and perfectly beautiful bubba. It took me until now to have the courage to create a ticker, but I figure my little one is working so hard to grow and meet its Mummy and Daddy that it deserved one :)
Due to my previous serial losses and a damaging forceps delivery with DD, I will be having fortnightly US to measure my cervix and check it is not "shortening" prematurely. We also invested in a quality doppler and I can hear bubby's HB every night.
It is still a long road ahead of us, but I wanted to share a little hope with you all.
WTH xx
-
Hannah - I have been thinking of you daily! I know how you feel about the excitment fading. I think after loss we just detach as we can't stand the though of it happening again. I hate that the innocence of pregnancy and not worrying has been taken away from me. People have told me that once you have held a healthy baby you'll enjoy other pregnancies (all coming from people who have never experienced loss mind you!) I just don;t see how that could be the case for most people.
I was happy but terrified when I found out I was pregnant, and now not knowing whats wrong with my baby and knowing their is still a good possibility I could lose it or it be very sick when its born has just made me more scared. I tell myself everyday I just need to TRY to enjoy the pregnancy and baby, but hun I know its easier said than done. I wish I could give you a big hug. In the fist few weeks before I had a scan I had HCG blood tests at the doc every few days to reassure myself my levels were rising.
When do you see your DOC? have you got a scan organised? I really hope you can have a scan soon to try and ease some of your fears.
Lots of hugs! xox
-
Hi ladies,
this one is for hannah.
I know exactly how you are feeling, please dont think its wrong. i was exactly the same. i was too scared to get excited in case it all ended the way it did before. I was terrified to go to every scan in case something was wrong. i still get days now where i think....what if something is wrong and i just dont know about it....... All i can say to you is that it does get easier. the first 12 weeks for me were the worst. One thing i did that really helped was i bought a heart beat doppler machine. it was my lifeline through the early stages until i could feel bub moving around. it didnt cost me a lot, but got it on ebay, i havent used it in months now as i have the reassurance of the constant movements (day & night) but early on it was a godsend!
please dont feel like there is something wrong, after everything all the ladies in here have been through its totally normal to be worries and scared.
When you are ready for the PAML thread we will be there waiting for you with open arms.
AFM: i'm into single figure countdown now - 9 days to go
-
fificlaire - can i ask which doppler you bought. Spoke to Dh today and we are buying one for piece of mind.. Trying to research now but not having any luck, I dont know what direction to go in....
xxoo
-
Hi Sally,
it was called angel sounds. its pink and white and comes with head phones and also a lead that you can link to your pc so you can record it. I did that and now have the heartbeat on my phone as a ring tone :D also came with the ultrasound jelly
I think i only paid around ?25 for it on ebay, not sure what that converts to tho. but it was a god send to me. i wanted to walk round with it constantly strapped to my belly - but i resisted :)
-
Fifclaire - last question I promise!!
When did you start using it?? Was it earlish or later?
Thanks!!!
xxoo
-
WTH-I'm so happy for you for making it past 12 weeks! Your new ticker is moving along nicely!
Fifi-Wow 9 more days! I can't wait to see pictures of bub.
mollycat-Sorry to hear AF will be arriving.
cherished-Praying you catch that eggie!
Rhi-Sending you lots of AF vibes!
Hannah- Your not being ungrateful hun. Its normal for us to feel that way. We love having you hear and don't feel like you can't post here because your pregnant now. You give us all hope that it can happen for us too. We are here to support you and we love you.
Coco-YAY! Praying you caught that eggie!
Possums-Sorry to hear that your expecting AF. Is it defiantly over for you this month? If it is I pray that IVF goes smoothly for you.
-
i bought it when i was about 10 weeks i think.......but sometimes you can struggle to find something that early on, but i was lucky enough and i did. it all depends how bub is positioned.
-
Rhi - I hope your feeling better today . Enjoy your 'you' time on Saturday. You deserve it. I can understand your feeling of dejection after your doctor's comment. I've heard it said that there's not much further that assisted conception can go since AC conception rates are very close the natural rates. I often wonder if now there'll be more research into pregnancy loss. Yeah its great to be able to conceive but its little comfort if we can't hold onto them.
boble - Have been thinking of you today. I really hope all went well wit the tribunal.
charm - I'm hoping you get that BFP this month :pink-babydust:.
liz - :welcome: I am so truly sorry for your losses. I don't have any experience with either clomid of OPK's so I can't answer your question, but there's bound to be someone around here that can. I wish you all the best on your TTC journey and pray you get your forever baby soon.
jen - Busy as usual, I see. Hope you're taking care of yourself too.
sally - I guess I see your sister's point, but she didn't choose her words very carefully, did she? Big  hun.
sunny - Enjoy your holidays.
Shortcake - :hello: How are things with you?
possums - Thanks so much. It is a comfort to know I'm not alone. I pray the IVF works this time so you get your forever baby.
Eliza - Yay for O! I really hope you caught that egg this month :bluedust:
megsmum - Thats exactly how I feel. I can't imagine having a baby at the end of this. Thanks for letting me know there's nothing wrong with me.
cherished - Sounds promising. :goodluck:
mollycat - Sorry about the temp drop.
WTH - Congrats on making it past 12 weeks. One trimester down. Lets hope the next 2 are uneventful.
erybery - Thankyou so much for thinking of me. Especially with all you've been dealing with lately. Big  for you and bubs.
fifi - Thanks for your words too. Single figures now, I'm so excited for you!
AFM - I could understand the way I feel if I was worried. I think sheer terror would be better than feeling completely numb. At least its expected. After my loss I had a game plan: I would get the hcg tests and a scan at 9-10 weeks around the time I lost my last bub. But I don't care now. I'll be seeing my doctor next thursday (couldn't get in this week) and I will still ask for a scan. But at the moment, I don't really care. That's what is worrying me. On the other hand it does make it easier to take it one day at at time.
It hasn't helped that I haven't spoken with DH all week. I think I'll wait up for him to get home from work tonight so I can have a chat to him. Maybe things will seem better then. But thankyou all again for letting me know I'm still normal. Since starting Zoloft is hard to know if I can trust my emtions.
-
Thanks everyone for your welcomes.
Day 21 now and no ovulation even with Clomid. Have booked to see a new doctor next month so am hoping she will answer some of my millions of questions.
Found myself crying all the way home from the shops today, sometimes the desire for a baby just gets so overwhelming. Add to that I should be starting my maternity leave from work which just rubs it in.
Does everyone else have days like this? And also, do you have days where you really can't bear to look at happy, pregnant women?
Anyway, sorry to be so negative. Happy Easter everyone, wishing you all luck and success with ttc.
Liz
-
fifclaire- Thanks!! Im going to look into it!
HannahD - Yeah she had a point, it just wasn't delivered well. Still I think unless its actually you having this happen to you are still slightly protected from the reality of it all...
Our bodies are amazing the way they allow us to cope. If you can just let yourself be for a couple of weeks and see how you go. If you think its what you are taking ask your doc maybe? I think your doing a brilliant job!!!!!!!!
Liz - it is what it is and you shouldn try not to let it make you feel bad. A very clever lady said let your emotions just be what they are.. you cant help disliking pregnant people, I have many a moment too!!! Another clever women said fake it till you make it!! Hope tomorrow is a fantastic day and sets the tone for your long weekend.
xxoo
-
fifclaire - just had a thought you might get a lovely early easter surprise! Cant wait to hear all the great news and stories!!! thanks for your advice.
xxoo
-
I completely forgot to wish everyone a HAPPY EASTER! I hope everyone enjoys the long weekend, whatever we may be doing.
sally - Thanks. I'll try not to stress about not stressing. Maybe once I have scan, see the heartbeat, I'll be able to believe it could it happen.
liz - Ditto what sally said. Denying what you feel doesn't help. I work in a maternity hospital 2 days a week so I have to see pg women regularly. Some days I'm fine and other days its almost more than I can bear.
-
cherished--Will be looking for a coverline on your chart in a couple days! You may not necessarily see a temp drop, per say, but hopefully you'll begin to see an increased temp trend for the next 3 days, before getting seeing those cross-hairs. I've got my :crossfingers: that you caught/catch that eggie!
Rhi--I'm sorry about your BFN and that AF has gone AWOL. *hugs* She left here with strict instructions to go straight to hell! I hope you enjoyed the yoga, and I'm envious of your facial--I've never had one!
Why is it that it's called AF anyhow? No woman in her right mind would make another woman suffer the way we do..... only a man would be so cruel.... I say we change the name to RB--for Rat B@st@rd!
boble--Saying  that the tribunal went well! Enjoy your friend's b-day and hope you have a happy, relaxing Easter!
Hannah--You could never offend anyone, and I'm so grateful that you felt comfortable enough with us to share what you're feeling! That's a huge step right there--the fact that you're not internalizing your emotions, and you're getting it off your chest! I don't think that you're being ungrateful at all--your mind is simply trying to protect your heart! It's like your mind is building a big wall around your heart.... making you feel numb, because at least if you're numb, then you aren't feeling--KWIM?... it's telling you that if something happens, you won't care (of course you would, but it's like you're in fight or flight mode--you can't control your mind.) Have you called the dr. to see if your dosage should be decreased now that you're pg? I hope that you get to have your talk with DH--I'm sure it will help, if only to allow his additional support and understanding of what you're feeling/not feeling.
charm--Enjoy your Easter and special quality time with your family! *hugs*
Liz--Welcome! I'm sorry about your losses, and that your new year began so horribly! :comfort: Unfortunately I know nothing about Clomid, but know there's many others that have been successful with it. Hope you find some comfort and support here among us on your TTC journey, and I look forward to sharing this journey with you and getting to know you! We all sympathize and empathize with your emotions at seeing pg women--we get it, and we know how painful it is. You're among friends! *hugs*
sally--Welcome to my life! lol... I wake up every morning at 4:45 to take my temp--on my own, like clockwork. I swear, the older I get, the earlier I wake up!
We all know what you mean about feeling stressed about getting pg. again. With my last angel, as soon as I found out I was pg, I called and wanted an u/s... I don't know, just had a panic.... the nurse kept telling me, "jenny, just relax and enjoy being pg... everything will be fine". Well, it wasn't.... and she felt so bad and apologized several times to me, saying how small she felt. She didn't mean any harm, but I was grateful and actually shocked that she apologized. I was 8 wks at that time.... so I went on as she said until I started spotting at 13 wks.... went for u/s and was told baby had passed at 8 wks.... so had they actually given me the u/s when I asked for it, I could've possibly known sooner, instead of thinking/feeling pg for an additional 5 wks--and telling everyone I knew that I was pg.... It's terrible to have to go back and re-tell everyone that now you're not.... However, if/when I get pg again, I will stand in their office and :protest: if they don't give me an u/s! And, of course, I'll stress.... but we can't control what's going to happen.... and if we don't take the chance, we'll never know... Big *hugs*
sunny--Enjoy your 2 weeks off! Happy Easter! *hugs*
Big *hugs* for Shortcake & megsmum (my fishy friend, you WILL be holding a baby in your arms very soon!)

coco--I had a feeling that I'd see that coverline on your chart today! See, I might get you a little confused sometimes, but I've gotten pretty good at reading charts... like the chart whisperer or something! Saying lots of prayers that you caught that :egg:
Possums--Hoping AF--oops, I mean RB (Rat B@st@rd) went to hell per my instructions! Hoping you don't need to venture back down the IVF path! :pink-babydust:
erybery--Still saying lots of prayers for your little princess... (ugh, now that I've said that, I really hope that my memory is serving me correctly--please tell you that you did say you were having a girl!?!?) :stickyvibesgirl:
fifi--****, fi, 9 days! Where does time go? Love the completed pics of bubs room--the light is great, I've never seen one like that before! Sending you some easy labor vibes! (you'll need them! :nahnah: )
WTH--Hello friend! I'm sorry to hear you've been thru a stressful couple weeks--but woo hoo!--you made it past a HUGE milestone!! Moving on to 2nd trimester--praying it's a zenful, very uneventful and boring one! Love the ticker! Oh, and I have to ask... what the heck does fortnightly mean? lol.... I'm confused!
mollycat--Bugger about your temp drop.... stupid @$$ RB... Hoping that the Easter bunny brings you lots of chocolate! *hugs*
MO3B--Hey twinnie! Thinking of you always! Oh, d@mn.... just realized I forgot the blank CD's.... grrr... going to look around the house and see if I can find some. Hope you're liking the songs--super happy to hear you're using the "Unbreakable" one as a ring tone!
Wishing you all a very happy Easter!

Thanks Hannah and Shortcake ;)
Jen - hey  right back at ya, friend. I have missed our little chats here. Will try and make a better effort from now on. BTW - fortnightly means two-weekly. I agree with you about the whole AF thing - it is not fair it gets called a biatch, etc. Gives women a bad wrap. Lovin' the RB idea
Sally - I bought the FetalSounds doppler from conceive.com.au. They say it works from 10 weeks, though I bought mine at 12 weeks. The sound quality is excellent. HB has been easy to find (so far) - within seconds - and I can even hear kicks :)
Fificlaire - 9 days - you lucky girl. Enjoy any rest you can get right now - things will never be the same

where theres hope - was it the one that told you the heart rate?
God I have no idea which to get!! I think me being me, I might need the one that works it out properly for you others I might never work it out!!!

wowsers there's a few posts to get through this morning... Is everyone enjoying their hot cross buns today? HAPPY EASTER to all! I've decided that I won't be buying any choccies for sunday cause I've eaten so many during the week!
Liz Since I had the D&C I really struggle with pregnant woman, and why do they think I want to hear all about what they are going through!? It's kinda weird though because when I was pg too I was all to happy to hear all about it but now I want to punch them in the face or at the very least snap at them to shut up! Oh I've been very impressed with myself not loosing at them. Hmmmmm?
Hannah I would have found it very challenging to work in maternity. You will have your own bub soon, YAY
Jen I am so happy you are the chart whisperer!!!! today I was sure I would see a temp drop or a rise but no it has been the same for a few days now... Hopefully tomorrow there will be a shift one way or the other. ohhhhhhhhhh I just want to be pg!!! I want us all to be pg!!!!! hooooooooooooorah for Hannah to give us all hope xoxooxox
Re getting a scan done asap, I agree we should all demand them ;) My ob told me to come in at 8 weeks next time rather than 11 and I'm sure I could go even earlier if I wanted to.
Re having to go back and tell everyone you are not pg anymore :( That I think would be one of the hardest things to do. I've mentioned before that I am thankful we didn't tell anyone and next time round we wont tell anyone for as long as possible, maybe even 20 weeks if we can get away with it!
AFM I feel like crap today (physcially) I feel like I'm coming down with a cold/flu... If this were happening a week or so from now I would be very excited as when I was pg in Jan I felt like this... But I doubt it is the case this time. I'm also annoyed about it because I NEVER get sick and this is a sign that my body is more run down than I thought it was... I mean with all of my relaxing and pampering how could I possibly be sick! :crying: Hopefully it will be gone tomorrow.
Oh I almost forgot... I guess I am officially on another :2ww:
