erybery - That is such great news! I hope by the next scan all the fluid is gone and your little girl is growing happy and healthy. I'm so happy for you and your DH
sally - Wow, that is some statement from your acupunturist. Let me know if it works and I am happy to fly to WA! I know what you mean about giving yourself time and not wanting to mess with 'nature' so to speak. You do what feels right for you  I am a bit hesitant about IVF (hopefully we don't need it) but I feel like it is our last resort and if it doesn't work then what? So I completely understand your reservations
charm - Hope the dream is a good sign and turns into reality soon! Good luck with testing :noaf: Dealing with the insensitive comments can be so hard so if you need to hide away to deal with it then do what you need to do. I have done my fair share of hiding over the last 20 months and I don't let myself feel guilty aobut doing it anymore.
Boble - Whether you are ttc for 2 months or 12 months it all feels like an eternity so don't feel bad about venting. Sure, some people have been trying for longer but it doesn't mean your journey has been any easier or less heartbreaking. Every month ttc feels like an forever and the only reason we all keep going is we know the result at the end will be soooo worth it. I hope you feel better soon and your DS hand is ok
sunny & shortcake - Car shopping went well, thanks for asking. We have found a really nice liberty wagon (family car) that we both like. DH said it is up to me as I will be the one driving it the most but I am a little hesitant as I feel like we are tempting fate once again and jinxing ourselves by getting too far ahead (iykwim?). We built a family hme 4 years ago and so far it is still just the 2 of us....Anyway, we are not going to rush our decision, will let you know what we decide!
sunny - Another one for you - I  that line gets darker day by day!
cherished - I know exactly what you mean. I was best friends with a girl for 17 years and we no longer speak. We went through everything together and were always going to be in each others weddings and we didn't even end up going to them as guests. He parents split up and nothing was ever really the same after that, she didn't want anything to do with her old friends and got new ones. I have a great support system of friends but it didn't make it hurt any less and I have really missed her being there through this journey. So I know exactly how you feel and how hard it is to make peace with it, I still struggle at times  hug:
Bedtime, better go!

Quick question -
Is a spray tan bad when you are pregnant?
Ages ago I bought a beautiful nail polish called 'Zoya' and its safe for when you are pregnant. ANy thoughts on the tan?
-
Smi - Think Nahla is a lovely name
Hannah - CONGRATULATIONS! wishing you happy healthy 9 months
Jen - you catch that:egg: and you get your bfp this month
Shortcake - Thanx, hope your tww ends in bfp for you
Mel - keeping fingers crossed for you
Sunny - Agree, faint positive is a very good sign. I tested day af was due with this pg and got bfn only got bfp 3 days later.
Cherished - Sorry you have been feeling so down
Erybery - That is great news about your scan
Hello to Mollycat,Mrzbaby,Sally,Rhi,Coco,Boble,Charm and anyone else ive forgot

Hi everyone.
DH and I just had a MASSIVE fight, he had been drinking alot at poker (he normally doesnt drink more than couple beers) and he flew riiiiight off the handle at me.
We're in financial trouble (like the rest of the world) and the bank balance just ticked into negative because of the private health insurance and my car repayment coming out.
After my m/c I took 2 weeks off. I expected to be back at work 2 weeks or so ago so we're skint and I called work and they dont have me on till nxt roster.
DH just screamed at me because he has been working over 50 hours a week and has just taken 2 days extra over easter off and we have no cash for him to do anything. (we do but he wont touch it i might add...)
He was saying that I am taking him for a ride and he is dissapointed in himself because I am using him and then he started mimicking whinging and crying when I finally yelled back that "I didnt expect to have this long off work and I certainly would have liked to have NOT had to take time off in the first place and I cant help whats happened!"
Oh god it was awful.
I just needed to get that off my chest but Im getting the feeling he is dissapointed he married me. I dont have a uni degree like all his mates and their partners, Im working in a friggin restaurant. I was working as an event coordinator but left after I was being bullied all day every day for 45 hours a week then having a 2 hour rerturn trip every day I broke down..
I feel so awful, low and useless right now. I honestly feel he is going to want me to leave...
-
Good morning beautiful women! I'm loving Spring break and the fact that I get to sit at the computer in the morning without having to rush off to the school! I could definitely get used to this!
mollycat--:happybirthday: Enjoy your special day! Praying that all your dreams come true this year! Sending more anti-RB vibes.... RB is NOT allowed to show on your b-day! xoxoxoxoxxo
sally--Sorry you're feeling down *hugs* I can understand your reluctance with messing with nature... it's amazing what they can do nowadays... like how you can pick the gender of your child. I've always dreamed of having a girl, but to think that they can now "play God" is a little unnerving. You should ask your acupuncturist if he guarantees his services--no pg'cy=no money! Wishing you the best with whatever decision you make!
coco--I do the same thing with an Avril Lavigne song--that song "Slipped Away" gets me every time! Some days I feel like a glutton for punishment, and will listen to it over and over again! Big *hugs* for you!
Mel--Extra anti-RB vibes coming your way! *hugs* D@mn, I should've held out on telling you about the dr's appt, that way you could put your threat of flying out here to take my yourself into action!
sunny--Ooh, I'm quietly holding my breath for you!
cherished--Always better to be the "bigger" person! You're paving your karmic path! It's sad when people grow apart and move on with their lives... I must admit that I'm way more dedicated to this thread than to any of my family members or past friends!
boble--Hello my new fb buddy! Sorry you're feeling sad and cranky... you're entitled to days like that, without having to apologize for it! The TTC journey can be such a long, windy, bumpy road... it's so stressful to put forth so much hope and effort whether it's for a week or a year--especially when, after a m/c, you want to be pg again yesterday! Hope your DS's hand is feeling better today!
erybery--That is freaking' fantastic news about your baby girl! :leap: I'm so happy for you! Saying prayers that the next scan shows a perfectly happy, healthy little bub girl! *hugs*
:hello: to Rhi, Shortcake, mrzbaby, Toccara (my other new fb friend!), Mannie, & meh
WOO HOO fifi's in labor!!! :hooray: Thinking of you sweetie, and wishing you a pain free delivery! Hey, I can wish, can't I? So happy for you, and can't believe that the next time we see you in chat, you'll be a tired, but very happy new mommy! Can't wait to hear the news! I'm voting boy!
charm--People can say such insensitive things! I've had people say that very same thing to me... especially when it's summer and I've got all 4 kids around, and I'm usually all stressed out.... and they ask, "And you want another one?" I've even had DF ask me! WTF? Anyhow, we get it, so don't feel bad for venting! Praying your dream was a glimpse into the future!
chappas--Glad to hear your 16 wk appt went well, and you finally got to hear bubs h/b! *hugs*
-
coco--Aww, honey, you must've posted while I was leaving my massive post! :comfort: People say the worst things when they've been drinking! Half the time they won't even remember what they said after, but unfortunately it's not as easily forgotten for us! Could he maybe feel somehow responsible, or somehow a failure for what happened, and he just doesn't know how to express his emotions over it? I don't know what to say, other than I'm sorry.... I hope things look a little brighter tomorrow (well, I guess it's today for you now) once he's sober. You're in my thoughts...
-
thought i would leave you a very quick post!
Yes Jen is right i'm in labour and have been for almost 24 hours now and bub doesnt want to go out. Have been in to hospital twice only to be sent home twice.
My waters have broken and i'm still having contractions but bub aint budging! Its 8pm now, if nothing has happened by 8am tomorrow morning i'm being taken in to be induced. so hopefully, this time tomorrow i will have bub in my arms. Just in time for Mollycats birthday!!
Happy birthday molly!!!
Thats it from me, am off to pace the floor some more and try shift this bub out!!!
-
Oh, Fi! I'm so anxious and excited for you! And how great is that for mollycat? :hooray: I'm sure that you've made her day! Not that you've done it on purpose, or anything! :nahnah: I know if it were up to you, you'd already be holding your bub in your arms! Thanks so much for the e-mail updates--MO3B and I were frantically wondering about you this morning! Ok, honey, keep us posted! I'm thinking of you and wishing you all the best! Take lots of pics for us--well, have someone else take lots of pics for us--I think you'll be a little busy! Love you lots! I'm super, super, super happy for you! :leap:

Morning everyone
I've had tears well in my eyes reading some of your posts today.
Jen, I feel closure to all of you than any of my other female friends and I can't bare going a day without checking on you all :grouphug: If it weren't for all of you and my amazing dh I don't know where I would be.
Coco, another teary post, I know this is a great place to let it all out and it's just so wonderful for that! And when things are happening or not long after we tend to be the most upset about it and our dh/dp/df can often really sound like the bad guy (which in the case you're talking about he is!) What I'm getting at in a delicate way is that if he is like that more often than not and making you feel terrible more often than not I would really encourage you to see someone for help either by yourself or together... I know you didn't say you feel terrible all the time but just in case you do I wanted to say something.... I'm just worried about you... I hope I didn't just stick my nose in too far? Regarding the financial thing, may people are finding it tough, clients are dropping like flies at my work but many more new ones are coming in. Be positive things will get better :) After my m/c we talked about dropping the private cover (cause I wanted to) and talked about dh not spending $ on some things... But at the end of the day we choose an attitude of abundance rather than lack, just that mind set helps make things easier... That can be hard to do when you feel like the realities are different but I still prefer to think things which will support me rather than the alternative. Again I hope that wasn't sticking my nose in too far.
Sally I think of accupuncture as balancing you to what nature wanted in the first place (not messing with nature). Not sure if you read my post a while back re my experience. I used to have 30 day cycles (ie when I first ever go my period for a few years) before the pill and depo, than had 28 day cycles on the pill and when I came off depo. When I had acuppuncture my periods went back to 30 days just like nature had intended before all the contraceptive drugs. SO if you've ever taken contraceptive or any other drugs for that matter (in a toxic world just the air we breath can throw your body out of wack) you require balancing HTH
Sunny, I feel very jealous at all the pg woman out there and pray to god noone else tells methey are pg... BUT for you girls I AM TOTALLY HAPPY FOR A BFP ANNOUNCMENT... BRING IT ON  btw I would be testing everyday like a crazy woman untill I see 2 dark lines
gotta get ready for work xo
-
sorry, just another quick one before i run to get ready for work. I got a shiney red cover line today which says i am 3dpo..... I was expecting today to be my O date so I am a little confused. I guess I will wait and see what my temps do over the next 3 or so days.
My chart looks so erratic compared to my pregnancy chart.... so not holding much hope already.. but this is the first time i have gotten an unbroken coverline.. so thats kinda cool :D
Coco - sending you some love and hugs. It can be so hard sometimes. I hope you and DH are able to sit down and talk about it... that much have been horrible for you for him to mimic crying at you. I am just in shock that he would do that. *hugs*
-
I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES
I've just got the most special birthday pressie (and it's not Fifi's bub) my BFP. Feels like it's been forever but it's finally happened, and I still can't quite believe it.
Fifi - Just wishing you all the best on bub's BIRTH DAY.
Coco - huge hugs hun, TTC is so hard sometimes. I know during all the years we've had many ups and downs and it is such a huge drain emotionally.
Thanks for the birthday wishes
-
Mollycat - Oh my goodness!! That is fantastic news! Happy Birthday, WHAT A PRESENT!!!!!
Coco- That is horrible for you. As easy as it is for me to say waiting till the dust settles will help, you will understand what is going on better. Money is money, some people have lots some don't, people think you need to get stressed rightly so but at the end of the day its not everything, kids, love and family is. Maybe he is focussing on it because its something he can tackle and 'fix', and getting a BFP seems out of his control.... Males are strange creatures.
Cherished - I was talking to DH about it and I think Id be a succes case for him base on my history as well. Not having an prob's getting pregnant, although not successful, without balancing my body so it should (in theory) be even easier when it is balanced????
SO strange we give our selves dates, my birthday is in july and I desperately want to be pregnant by then... Maybe announcing 3 months would be lovely. That is exactly what I will ask DH to get me....
No pressure....
-
OMG mollycat!!!!! :happyforyou: Happy birthday and what a super pressie!! Here's to a H&H 9 months :D
-
mollycat - :happybirthday: and congratulations! Woohoo! I'm so very very happy that you've finally got a BFP. :happyforyou::leap: I'm  its a sticky one and wishing you a H&H 9 months. :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy:
erybery - Thats fantastic news about your little girl. ::cheer:I'm hoping its completely resolved by the next scan.
fifi - Sending loads of labour vibes. I hope you don't have to wait much longer to hold your baby in your arms.
Big hugs to everyone else. I'm at work so I'll have to come back later for more persies.
-
Just had to jump on to say CONGRATULATIONS again to mollycat on her :bfp: I still can't wipe the smile from my face! :hooray: My eyes are still puffy--esp. after the pic of your +HPT!! I'm OVER THE MOON for you, hon!!! :leap: After 11 years.... it just goes to show you that miracles really do happen, you just can't ever give up that dream! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy: :stickyvibesgirl:
-
Yes, Yes, Yes!

-
OMG Mollycat - I have tears of joy welling up in my eyes. I am absolutely overwhelmed with happiness. This thread is becoming so happy & lucky. And Sunny, I know it's a tad early, but hey a feint line is still a positive line. I just want to hug everyone in the thread and jump up and down. This has made my day, particularly after reading some previous posts. I will post persies seperately. I am still in shock.... this is a great month!
Oh, Happy Birthday too Mollycat - the best present anyone could ask for. Phew, I need to take a breath!
-
Mollycat ~ you Sensational Resilient Patient Clever Woman!!!!!
:happybirthday::clap::happyforyou:

I feel like I belong a bit now :)
-
-
Meh - Welcome to the PM club
Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes and the good wishes. Still trying to get my head around it. Wish I could shout it from the roof (that could be a good look - actually getting up wouldn't be so hard - it's getting back down again). Wait until my boys find out that they will have to share a room (or someone will)
Jen - Hope you didn't scare DF with your tears, thanks for the photos, can't believe how much your boys have grown in the twelve months we've been here together.
This means I may have "ruined" that wedding awwww. Never mind. I'm sure the bride and groom won't mind too much.
-
MOLLY CAT!!! Oh my gosh I am sooooo over the moon for you!!! A little birdy just emailed me and told me to search BB for a bit of good news and I knew exactly where to go to find it! I am so happy for you sweetheart. What an amazing birthday present. Maybe special days are good luck because I got my BFP on father's day, and now you on your birthday! I can't wait to watch and hear about your pregnancy journey!

mollycat - my dear friend - I have already congratulated you but just wanted you to see it again here on the thread. I cannot be happier for you, sweet. Yes, miracles can happen and dreams really do come true. You are a beacon of light and hope for the rest of the girls on this thread. Lots of love.
:grouphug:
-
Mollycat - Wow, I am sitting here in tears as I am just so happy for you. You are truly an inspiration for never giving up until your dream became reality. Thankyou for being here and giving us all hope. Words cannot express just how happy I am for you and your family. :happyforyou:
Wishing you a H&H 9 months!
:stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy:
:stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl:
BBL for more persies, just wanted to dedicate a whole post to Mollycat!
-
Ok, I'm back sooner than I thought. Too excited for Mollycat to stay away!
Sally - Not sure about a spray tan? I would say no but it might be something to ask your Dr just to be sure. I know what you mean about wanting the best birthday present. DH b'day is in 2 weeks and he said he only wants one thing for his b'day, no pressure......
Fifi - Woo hoo - Don't expect you to see this right at the moment but can't wait to see your birth announcement!
Chappas - Yay for hearing your little one's :heartbeat:. You probably don't think so but that 16 weeks sure went fast!
Coco - Oh sweetie  Unfortunately things are often said under the influence of alcohol that are hurtful and untrue and I am sure your DH regrets how he acted now. Especially if he is not used to drinking lots then it usually makes it 10 times worse. I hope everything seemed better in the morning and you have been able to talk about it and sort it out. I'd say he owes you lots of cuddles though! And please don't ever sell yourself short because you don't have a uni degree, you are just as good as everyone else (probably better I'm sure). Stay strong sweetie, less than a week until we can test :crossfingers:
Jen - Thanks for the anti RB vibes! Will reply to your PM tonight. How are you doing by the way? I'm going to keep hassling you until you add an AFM to your posts ;)
boble - Hope you caught that eggie!
HannahD - How are you feeling?
Meh - You always belonged but I know it is exciting when you can PM!
Hi to Rhi, shortcake, cherished, WTH, plc, AJC, krystielove, erybery, megsmum, sunny, mrzbaby, toccara, mannie, MO3B & charm. Sorry if I have forgotten anyone!
AFM - OMG, I think we brought a new car today! Does anyone else here have a subaru liberty? DH won me over, he is right though I need to replace my car and we may as well do it now when I am still working full time and can pay it off before we have a baby and I go part time (then we would never be able to afford it). It is a family wagon as well plus we got a pretty good deal. If we tighten our belts we should have it paid off well before we have a baby (even if I get pg this cycle). I was a bit worried about $ if we have to try for IVF in August but we will still be able to afford it and we are trying to be positive that we will not need to go down that road.
I arrived home today to a parcel in the mail addressed to me. I couldn't remember ordering anything and when I opened it it was an AFL Demons membership. I know that may not mean much to many people but I am a huge Demons fan (even though we haven't had a win in a while) and it was so sweet for DH to do that to cheer me up as I have been so down lately. Just when I think I can't possibly love him anymore he goes and does something so sweet :inlove:
Still getting ferns with maybe baby but trying not to get my hopes up as no other symptoms (except peeing all the time but that happens leading up to AF as well). Maybe I am getting ferns because I am putting too much saliva on it but then again I am putting the same amount as always. Here I am, torturing myself again.......What else is the TWW for?
-
Hello all the Beautiful Ladies who frequent this thread :hello:
Sorry I haven't posted in a while, haven't really been up to it but you are ALL always in my thoughts.
I had to post tonight to send my love to two of my beautiful girls!
Fi- I haven't heard anything for 9 hrs but if you hadn't had bubs an hour and 28 minutes ago they were going to induce you. I hope everything is going quickly for you now or that you have your beautiful little one in yours arms. I cannot wait to hear some news. Love you hunny. :stork-boy::loveshower:
Molly- Omg sweetheart! :happybirthday: :bfp: :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy: You've been a busy girl today. I am SOOO happy for you. Finding out you had finally got your BFP wasn't like when someone else becomes UTD because I don't feel that usual jealous and the why not me feelings... I am just soooo happy for you. You have waited way too long for this and deserve a happy and smooth sailing pregnancy. Love you hun and I can't wait to be there for you every step of the way. Thank you for bringing us hope that even after years and years it can still happen.
-
Mollycat - Sorry forgot to say :happybirthday:, it kind of got lost in amongst to your other news - sorry! What a wonderful present :D
-
Mel - I drive a Subaru Impreza, DH drives a Subaru Tribeca and my Dad and stepmum drive a Subaru Liberty - need I say more? LOL I love my "hoon car" as DH calls it - and no I don't drive it fast these days ;) And my Dad and stepmum think their Liberty is a great car - no problems whatsoever with it. As always hun, I have everything crossed for you this TWW and  that the ferns lead to a BFP so you can save those $ and not have to do IVF.
Mollycat - Just had to  again, hope you had a lovely birthday!
-
Mel - DH drives an Impreza and looooves it. I don't but it's not my car so I don't need to. I must say I do like the Liberty's though. Actually the month he bought his impreza we got a BFP so hopefully your subaru purchase will bring you the same luck ours did. You will need the space of a wagon - I have a Suzuki vitara and it's always chocka-block but still comfy.
-
Been ages
Hi all,
It's been so long and I'm out of the loop, my new job has been all consuming and I'm feeling like I need a holiday.
Well the one month wait to start my next FET is almost at an end. Funny how much I've reflected and hope I'm in a better space now than a month ago. I so want things to be perfect but am coming to my sences slowly and know things never are.
:D chin up
-
evening chickies, just a quick one to Mel.... The Demons hey!!! I have been to dozens of Melbourne games! Not for at least 14 years but before I left home my dad used to get tickets because he is a big fan too... I remember going to a grandfinal in the 80's sometime, it was against Hawthorn and the Demons got their ass kicked  I used to have the Mel ruckle teddy, the scaff and flag etc... ahhhh the good ol' days... Anyway just thought I would share, your DH is so sweet for cheering you up like that xo
-
Hi Ladies,
sorry to interject, but i'm just going through a m/c now and have the d&c or natural miscarriage debate doing cartwheels in my head.
In relation to ttc after miscarriage, what's the general consensus? is d&c more successful or letting nature take it's course.
i'm desperate for some guidance as i have to make a decision tonight if i want a d&c tomorrow.
-
No time for persies! I just wanted to say CONGRATS MOLLYCAT!!! What a wonderful birthday present! Heres to a healthy & Happy 9 months!!!:leap::happyforyou:
Everyone else I cannot wait to see more BFP this month!
