WTH - Honey my 1st m/c was due to one of the Trisomy's - i think it was 16. An indication of egg quality which happens with women who are (ahem) a little older. My
2nd m/c was unexplained but knowing what i know now about my thyroid, that could have been the culprit. So far this pg is ok. I know of at least 2 or 3 other women on BB who are pg in their 3rd trimester and who have previously had m/c's due to one of the Trisomy's (def one lady in particular had Trisomy 15 as a cause) - all of whom are in their mid to late 30's. It can still happen for you honey and it WILL happen for you .

Angel nuff - Soooo, when are you booking in to go back to the snow?
Thanks for having dinner with me! I'm glad your DH didn't mind me calling him "MR Angel"
Thanks for the idea about possibly putting the herbs in capsules. I am definitely going to ask my acupuncturist if I can do that when I go back on tuesday. There was one lot she put me on once that I had to stop taking because it made me nauseous for the next couple of hours.
Use the force... Omg, I swear I was laughing so hard it hurt. And then today all I could remember was how much I laughed and I couldn't even remember where the "luke skywalker" thing came from! Took me like an hour to remember! I still have no idea about the one-handed part!
Ok ok... so miss organised had a brolly... can't help but wonder what else was in the bag too. My mum always said to keep a spare pair of underwear in case of an accident... any pretty panties in there?

Jen nuff - Ewwww, toilet water! I am soooo glad that I've never had a toilet mishap before. I'd freak out if I had to clean it all up.
OMG your temp is higher again! This is so exciting!
Hmmm, commando huh? I'll have to think about that....
Oh, and don't worry about what Angel says. You'll be completely fine when I come over. Well... you'll be fine as long as you keep a brolly in your bag like angel. Even if it doesn't rain at least you'll have something to beat me over the head with

    Tina
    - I hope you and bubs are doing well my little friend! We miss you

Van - We miss you too sweetness. Hope the realxing time away is working for you!

    Mollycat
    - Is it just me, or does it seem that quite a few of us in here would like some pink balloons?
I'm glad you are starting to feel better. The old saying that "sharing is caring" doesn't always apply, lol.

    pbstar
    - I hope Issy info has put your mind at ease and that you are able to having some relaxing special time with you baby

    Babyfever
    - I have absolutely no idea what herbs in particular I am taking. My acupuncturist has about 50 bazillion different powdered herbs and when she makes up mine she takes a certain weight of powder from lots of the containers and mixes it into one for me. The only one I know for sure was when she put me on deer antler pills. I couldn't swallow them until I found out the the antlers fall off naturally each year! LOL! I thought it might have been like elephant tusks :O

    Issy
    - I'm sorry that you didn't get a surprise bubba, but I'm very glad that your body decided to behave after such a naughty start to the cycle. I wish you all the best with the rest of your studies and I hope that you join us again in your TTC journey soon!

AJC - So you are going to have a "surprise" at the end of the birth It'll be so cool to find out whether your dream was right!

    Megsmum
    - I hope you find that you have no need to start the IVF process. I guess the next few days will give you an answer, and I hope it's a great answer

    Larz
    - Your hcg levels are looking great! I'm so very happy for you!

    Tutmae
    - Is it weird that I am totally jealous that you have morning sickness?

    Easha
    - My fingers are crossed that your temp behaves itself tomorrow morning and does exactly what you want it to!!!

WTH - While I am still devastated about the loss of your little boy, I am glad that you were able to find out why he was not able to stay and be your earth baby. I'm sure there are many many woman that have been in a similar situation and have gone on to have healthy successful pregnancies. Please don't lose hope sweetheart

    plc

Easha--Hey there, my plodding buddy! I'm that was implantation spotting you had--especially since it was only for 1 day! for another high temp for you this am! You're symptoms sound SO promising!! Wouldn't it be cool if we ended up being belly buddies?

WTH--Aww, hon, I'm glad you finally got some answers. I can understand how bittersweet it would be... I'm very grateful for the fact that you now know without a doubt that there was nothing you did, or could have done differently to prevent losing your precious son--that's a major huge thing! I hope you're able to find some peace of mind now--I know it doesn't lessen the hurt, but I you find some small comfort from it! Have you given your son a name?

Thanks, Babyfever! If I get an equally high or higher temp tomorrow, then I may POAS then... I'll just keep in mind if it's negative it may just be too early. Is it time for bed yet? I'm ready to take tomorrow's temp!

mollycat--Oh no, AF turned psycho cleaning lady on you, too? Hope she packs her bags real quick-like, leaving a nice, sparkling clean home for baby!

Saw your reno pics in the gallery! Looks great, but like a lot of hard work!

Nuff--Thanks for filling me in on all the goss about Pill Girl! She must have been worried, and that's why she posted and ran without chatting with us! Note to self: Bring umbrella when meeting PG!!

Sorry again about AF--your spirit seems light about it, tho, so I'm grateful for that! I'm so glad that you got to ditch your meeting and meet up with PG--sounds like that had a lot to do with your lighthearted attitude! Next time you throw my ticket out in the wind, throw it in the opposite direction!!

:goodluck2: with your FS appt. on Tue!!

    I'm back!!

    Hi girls,

I'm back from an awesome week skiing, but brought a cold back with me, so feeling a bit *****ty today. Also, did a HPT yesterday as soon as I got back, and BFN. Did another this morning with 2 different brands (forlife and first response) with FMU and BFN on both . Off now for a BT just to be sure, but unfortunately I don't feel UTD this month.

Will catch up on all the news in the next couple of days.

OK girls - I'm reading right back to where I left you all, so sorry if these replys seem a bit dated!

fificlair - Hi and Welcome. Sorry the welcome is a bit late. I hope you have made yourself at home by now. I'm sure you have. Hope everything is going well with you. I am looking forward to reading what happened at your Dr's appt.

Chappas - So glad you have a supportive and understanding DH. Make sure you let him know he's great.

Jen - so did you get that BD on O day? Thanks for your safe and happy wishes while I was away swooshing.

Babyfever - so sorry to hear about your grandpa. I lost my step dad last year to prostate cancer. It's a b!tch. I wish all your family well Thinking of you. I MCed at 5.5 weeks, and then fell again immediately, and then got a very feint BFP, but AF came on the day after she was due. Went for blood tests and I was actually preg again. Went to a FS and he said that you don't have to wait, and that basically it was just bl00dy bad luck. So if you feel up to it, go for it. I have chatted to and heard about many that have carried to full term straight after MC, so I hope you are one of them. I can't believe the amount of pills you are taking! But if it works, go for it girl. I hope you're good at maths!!

Easha - I didn't know there was such a thing as a TTC mag. What's the name of it? Any good??

Angel babies - You mentioned that in the chat room there was a thread about IVF and it was getting 'heated'. I thought everyone was supportive around here?? What was it all about?

KL - Glad to hear that your DH is supportive. Sorry to hear about AF. Your trip to the accupuncturist sounds great.

Tutmae - No wonder he was staring at your clevage - I'm sure they'd be growing by now!

Pbstar - Great to hear that all is going well with you!!

Rachel - My name is Jo-lene, but I usually go by Jo or Joey.

Easha - Any BFP's yet, or is it too soon?

Jen - Great to hear that FF got it right, and gave you a high score. Don't know if you fixed your ticker or not, but just click on it, and then it will take you to the site where you created it, and then you make the changes, and then it will give you a new URL and you copy and paste that into your BB signature.

Mollycat - Glad to hear that my DH is not the only blanket stealer around!

Babyfever - The night time dream thing ... I get that sometimes, but have never taken notice of what time of my cycle it happens. I'll take more notice in future!

Larz - That's a b!tch about your HCG levels. I hope they come up for you. Looks like they are increasing!! YAY!!

Jenushka - So sorry that the universe is being unkind to you at the moment. Thinking of you lots.
Who is the herbalist / natropath? PLEASE can I have her details?? With a record like that ... !

    WTH -

Angel Babies - You went to Peisher and didn't call me???!!! Bummer that you didn't have a good time

Smilanatu - Let me know if you come up with some tricks that work with DH. My DH is just the same, loves the sex, but hates BDing.

Easha - Hope that spotting what implantation!!

Jen - No, not lost, just spending hours catching up!!

AFM - Sooooo p!ssed off that I'm not UTD! It's all my fault. I know DH can't perform under pressure, and I got so excited a couple of weeks ago, and said "come back to bed, by temp just jumped" and I stressed him out and we couldn't get those swimmers in there. If I had have just been patient and waited till that night, I could have just made it happen, but noooooooo I have to have it right now! So that put him off for a couple of days and we missed the lead up to O. I am soooooo p!ssed off. I am sure that is the reason I am not UTD as I have fallen so easily the last two months in a row. Grrrr.

I feel so ***** today. Did a test this morning and have looked at it 10000 times, just incase it changes on me!!! And went for a BT this morning in the slim chance that I O late, and I'm just not showing up on the HPT's yet. Yeah right! I will prob get the results from my bt tomorrow, but I feel certain it will be a BFN (and it's not like me to be a pessimist, so all the more reason that it will be one). I can't talk to DH about it, cause he's all "it'll happen ... stop worrying abouit". I feel so jealous when I hear you guys talking about how your DH's take you out to dinner when AF arrives etc. Mine just pretty much tells me to stop worrying about it, and that's why it's not happening, cause I'm worrying too much. He even said yesterday that he's so over all the baby stuff and sick of hearing it that he's going to despise this baby before it even arrives. I though that was very harsh - even though I know he didn't mean it. I feel so ***** right now. I can't talk to him about it, I am soooo glad you girls are all here.

So what's the deal with accupuncture? My mum is an accupuncturist, so I should be asking her, but would rather chat with the ppl who have been through it personally, not just done the treatment to others. And I really don't want to talk to anyone who is not TTC right now, cause they don't understand. I am so lucky mt BF is TTC now too. And she is just like me with wanting to do it right, and charting and all that. She has been such a support while we were away skiing. I was texting her several times a day (DH has the *****'s with that too, cause he knows that we're talking about baby stuff!)

Anyway, back to the accupuncturists ... They can help you fall preg / stay preg? What's the deal?? So sick of TTC (after only 3 months - I know, impatient, sorry) and just want it to happen, so how much money do I have to spend, and what do I have to do? Tell me and I'm there.

    And what is IYKWIM??

As for the trip... it was great. Some days were a bit blowy, but there was heaps of snow. The best day was the Tuesday, where is was almost a complete white out. It made it so much fun. I was in fits of laughter cause I couldn't see where I was going, and we lost our way (while still feeling safe). Can't really explain it, I guess it's a 'had to be there' moment. DH and DD had not been skiing before, so while they took lessons, I skiied with my dad and step mum. It was a really great time, but I get cold easily and the last couple of days I started to feel the cold pretty bad so didn't enjoy it as much. DH is keen to go next year, but I am telling him that we will have to wait till the following year as we WILL have a bubba next year!

Ok - so that's it for me. I am back to school tomorrow, and have a student teacher in at the moment, so I should have some spare time in my lunch breaks for a change, to catch up on what's going on. So see you tomorrow. Won't be on again tonight. DH would kill me!
