Forshelby - I can dream in both colour and black and white, and the weird thing is....sometimes i can change the direction that my dream is heading in, its like hitting rewind then starting again, doesnt always give me a happy ending though! Wow your Baby is as big as a lime!!! I used to love analgy's like that for Dh!
Reet - Good luck on the big drive tomorrow, To answer your question, my bb's have been sore for about a week and a bit now!
Melster - Good luck on your decision with the baby shower, Like Dory said I would have an exit strategy in place before going just in case. xxx
Stoked - Everytime AF arrived i would feel the black cloud envelope me for a few days, It is really hard to be postive when you have got PMS! Good Luck xxx
Hugs to everyone I have missed xxx
AFM - Wasnt in a good place to post yesterday, a friendship of mine ended and i didnt really see it coming so i felt really blindsided, but things happen for a reason.
On to the good news!!! I took DS for his immunisations today, little trooper didnt even shed a tear! and got my hcg results.......25903.....I started crying with happiness! So the Dr gave me an u/s referral cuz either my dates are out or maybe twins????
xxxx
-
Forshelby, thanks sweetie. The tummy is a little on the funny side I reckon. ;) Bet your little belly is looking cute nowadays!! Know what ya mean about the skinny minis out and about. I used to do it and although am still skinny wouldnt do it these days thanks to my little bit of flab gained from each preg (worth it tho..) I just seem to have a little flab in places I never used to so although my weight has remained the same my body has changed a little. Ah it is a body which tells a story ;) And here I am again with no 3.....CRAZY ME!!
Bon, sorry about the friendship ending sweetie!! Congrats about the HCG results. Yay for twins!!! Were you taking clomid??? Aw it is all very exciting. I was just figuring out what my HCG level should be by today if it continued to multiply as quickly as it did within the 4 days within the last test... should be around 2600 or thereabouts for 4w6d pregnancy. Hmmm all very exciting I say.
Reet have a good trip sweetie!!!
Catch ya's all later!!
-
Melster - That's really interesting. I'll let you know if I get any vibes hehehe..
Bons - They call that lucid dreaming, and it's great fun! I can usually do that if I partially wake up, but want to continue the dream, so I just go back to the start if it was a good one, or if it was a nightmare, change the storyline.. lol. And I just said that to my DP, "Oooh, baby's as big as a lime! Only 200 days to go!" he smiled and said "only..." lol. Sorry to hear about your friendship, that's very sad news. Great to hear about your DS being such a trooper though, how cute. And OMG twins? :o how exciting! Those number are sky high, baby! :) Keep us posted!
Mum22 - I can't believe I'm starting to show already.... it's crazy. I keep prodding my belly to make sure I'm not imagining it. It's got a layer of soft, then blam! Rock hard! And no, I don't do situps... lol. I didn't expect to be showing for another month at least. I must have a fat baby in there, or maybe it's all the cheeseburgers. Oh god... how good would a cheeseburger be right about now. LOL That pudding I had yesterday sucked. I don't know what it was, it just sucked. So disappointed!
Reet - Have a great trip away, will be thinking of you on your anniversary as they spread jelly on my tummy... hehehe. That sounds kinda kinky. :D
AFM, had a great night's sleep last night, and feeling refreshed in general. Then I remembered I have to have bt's on Monday. Ewww.... hate them so much. And hate going all by myself, too. :( it's the gold coast show holiday today. MAN I could go for a dagwood dog... or a cheeseburger. OR BOTH!

Hi Lovely Ladies
Melster ~ Very sorry AF has arrived hun, the low flo could certainly be because of the m/c and d&c im assuming. My flows were a bit all over the place for a few months after the m/c - as in light and then heavy etc. Chin up, you'll be back to normal before long - try to stay busy. Yes DH definitely does get upset when I go out without him. I think that was part of the reason for his moods. He's a very jealous/sensitive guy. Thanks for your thoughts hun.
Mum22 ~ Thanks so much - means a lot. This IVF will be a bit more than our previous ones as we are doing an Antagonist cycle this time and the needles cost more apparently. I think the pre-payment is about $5600.00 but we will get 50% of that back from Medicare. Hope you start getting symptoms soon hun - to put your mind at ease. :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
Dory ~ thanks for the hugs and the kind wishes xo. I love that "Poo on the liver" LOL I think you might be right. GL with the stitch coming out and ROFL about the sausage sizzle - have fun ;)
Clairesmummy ~ thanks heaps - means a lot xo. FX your BPF is just around the corner as well!
Kellbell ~ thanks hun xoxox. Hope you start getting symptoms soon as well to put your mind at ease. Save your $$ - no more POAS's LOL
Reet ~ thanks hun - you are right DH gets jealous quite often over a number of things. I did have a great night - no regrets even if DH did get mopey LOL.
That is so funny about your DH ROFL.
Stoked ~ Hope you clear up with the GP about the tiredness and dizziness and GL TTC this month. FX for BFP's in Sept!!
Forshelby ~ What a dream. No idea what it would mean. GL working out that 1 LOL
Bons ~ Sorry about your friendship ending. I guess throughout our live we'll have friends come and go. I know it is hard though - hugs. Very exciting about your HCG - hope its twins or just a very healthy bub :D
Hi to anyone ive missed - hoping you are all well xoxo
AFM ~ Feeling much better today - DH and I are good again. Turns out it was a bit of a mis-understanding as well as a bit of jealousy i think. I just wanna get over it and move forward. Because DH was finally talking to me we were able to discuss finances and IVF so I think we will be ok to come up with the money - DH is pretty confident. Think AF is def on the way and will be here by Sun/Mon. I did POAS on Wed night which was BFN
-
Forshelby - I never knew it had a name! Everyone I have ever mentioned it too looks at me like Im losing it!, I can remember getting a can of coke out of the cupboard handing it to Dh and saying this is how much our baby weighs now, it was nice to show him real things, and because he was away so much i would send him weekly updates on what was happening in my tummy that week, it was nice for him to be involved that way! I have been laughing at your thoughts of food! xxx
Matthewsmum - Good luck for the transfer today! I hope everything is on track for this emby to get comfy! xxx
Mum22 - i havent been taking clomid and there isnt a history of multiples in my family for about 3 generations, and no history on Dh's side either, it is very comforting knowing the hcg levels are climbing isnt it...xxx
Reet - I hope your first big symptom is lots of wee stops on this drive :) travel safely!
xxxx

Bons I did a little lurking in the BB preg threads and those levels are what ppl in the preg threads are saying they have at around 6 weeks or so pregnant so it may just be normal levels :) They certainly aren't massively high compared to the levels some of the people in there are reporting. So they seem to be good levels :) He he.
AFM feel a little quesy and just had a chat with a g.f on the phone in which she described something her DS did which made me feel like vomitting. Now that is odd for me. Also DD's nappies are a little bit of a handful to change in that they are also making me feel queasy and they are nothing out of the norm so I know it has to be me..... hmmmmmm I now remember a comment I made last pregnancy.."thank goodness DD is toilet trained and I dont have to change nappies when pregnant cos I couldn't handle it" and so here I am obviously that comment really didnt sink in cos I woulda spaced my kids the same again ;)
Oh it is all good. I had a good night (stress free) as I lay in bed nauseous and feeling like I was sea sick for sooo long before I went to sleep. So levels must be increasing so that is good.
Forshelby, yummo, cheeseburgers you have my mouth watering at the thought of it and I normally get mouth watering cravings for chocolate and biscuits when not pregnant so this is also unlike me. Thankfully a cheeseburger is a drive to get so we wont be going there.
Well I am off to sort out my DD's lunch......what to make what to make ;)
-
Hi Everyone!
Bons- Yay for great numbers!! When will u get the scan done??
Loops- Glad ur dh has gotten over his little stroppy mood ;) its funny with guys they like kinda holding a grudge about little things we do or say and they wont actually tell us what its over! I find if dh does or says something i dont like i cant wait to get him away and tell him I dont like it!! haha. Yay for being able to afford ivf.. bring on oct! Or a sneaky bfp is sept.. i have been reading about a couple ppl in other threads having ivf booked in and then getting their bfp a couple weeks beforehand! :)
Forshelby- Yes do be thinking of me whilst u get jelly smeared all over ur tummy.. lucky its not going to be done using the internal scan.. now THAT wld be kinky!!! hahaha. Will ur dp be able to go with u?? I hope so.. i think that helps to make it all feel real for them.. i cant wait for our first scan.. i think once my dh sees that heart beating away he will know its for real! Right now he probly feels like hes imagining the whole thing!
Oh and ur dream was really bizarre! I reckon it has a dark kind of meaning.. nothing negative to do with baby but maybe to do with ur mum or something? who knows! Hope ur dreams are sweet from now on :)
Mum22- Yay for the m/s!! Pass some onto me! I actually do sometimes feel sick.. if i am hungry or if i eat too much.. just cant win! haha but its nowhere near vomiting just yet.
Melster- Yes forshelby is defintely psychic!! If she tells u its ur month believe her! I was so sure she was wrong when she told me.. to tell u the truth i only poas early so i cld come on here and go 'See i told u im not pregnant!!' well that backfired! But it was defintely excellent how it did pan out :) Hope ur looking forward to O time! Is ur dh ready for the bd bonanza?!
I think it was u that asked the question what af was like after m/c.. my first one was extremely heavy and really bad cramps.. that was after like 3-4 months of not getting af after m/c tho.. so it wld have been a big build up. I hope ur feeling a bit happier now.
Stoked- Hope the chiro fixed ur neck yesterday!
Im so sorry ladies if i have missed u.. cant go back any further on this page.. and really need to go and pack!
But quickly.. i went and saw my midwife this morning and got my bt results from yesterday.. at 5w2d my levels are at 9000!! i counted that they shld have been around the 5000 mark if they had been doubling since the 650 i got on thurs last week.. so thats almost double what they shld have been by yesterday! so im feeling very very happy :)
Getting the bt yesterday didnt make me too happy tho, i think my veins need a break.. the lady said they both feel very scarred on both arms.. and they really hurt this time. so im just going to relax until my first scan now!
Im so happy how things are right now.. i love my midwife.. i found her when i had m/c and she was lovely.. i cld ring her directly anytime and ask her questions etc.. and she does everything such as give me scan and bt referrals and its only $40 to see her! Bargain! Im also going to see my ob. every month so this little baby is going to get lots of attention! :)
I will probly be back on here tonight but if i dont get a chance i will be back in the next few days.. im so glad i have a laptop with wireless.. i dont think i wld survive not being able to come on and see how everyone is going!
xxx
-
Thanks Reet ~ Yes it was annoying that he put me under stress for basically nothing - grrr men. Im just gunna try and forget about it. I think im supposed to be on the pill in Sept on the lead up to the IVF but Im doing a Antagonist cycle and not too sure if I am suppoed to go on pill this time. And my nurse hasnt called about any of it yet so Im getting a bit concerned that they might not have my name down for it in Oct - that would be really crappy. Might have to try and ring them.
YAY for your results - that is awesome! GL hun xo

hi ladies,i've got lots of pages to catch up with again, just a quick update, had transfer today,we lost 1 embie in the thawing process, transfered 1,bt due on Tuesday week.Big hugs to all
-
Hi Matthews mum - sorry about the one that didnt thaw but all the best for the one little fighter you have inside you now. Enjoy being PUPO! :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
-
Matthew's Mum- Yay for the transfer and sending lots of sticky vibes to you and everyone else :)
I didn't test. I ended up being 7 days late but at least now I know. I am not moving in with DP yet, call me crazy if you must but I want to make sure that we are steady before taking anything further.... including chidren. If I am interprtating him wrong then it means I am the one having the doubts. I do want to move in and start our family but at the same time I am scared that everything will go wrong. Plus I have debts to deal with before anything else, I would rather be on top of everything.
-
Mathew's Mum - All you need is one! Put your feet up and enjoy ( as much as you can) the time until your BT on Monday.... Good luck and I have EVERYTHING crossed for you... even my little fur babies do! I really do hope embie is sticky.
Loops - sorry about the unexpected surprise with having to let a friendship go, but I agree things happen for a reason, it might just take some time to find out what it is.... just don't beat yourself up about it.... so glad that the SOTL have passed, that you had a D&M and it's all good for Sept... this must be one of the few times that you're actually looking forward to AF arriving, cause then you can start your cycle! I was sooo excited when I read AF was due for you this weekend.... my GF is in what she calls "infertility limbo" at the mo... half way through an 8 week wait for some genetic testing to come back. No IVF cycles and no au natural either (due to worry about the possible genetic condition). And actually, she's the happiest and most upbeat I've seen her in ages, maybe the enforced break is indirectly a good thing for her? She's been TTC for about the same time as you. It's a damn long road. My GF is starting to think about adoption.. which her DH was always strongly against, before now, but isn't anymore.
This is left field, but I just looked at your avi and realised your kelpie was a black and tan. Just gorgeous. I had a red cattle dog for a while when I was a kid, but she ate the neighbours chooks and was otherwise naughty, so she went back to the pound and we exchanged her for a belgian shepherd, who I just adored ( sort of like a slim framed long haired german shepherd), but whose colouring was black and tan. Then years later my Dad got a red cattle dog, and I just connected with her, even though I only saw her every 6 months or less. When I visited we were inseparable. But my Dad was naughty and used to over feed her and the poor thing was a little barrel on short short legs, but totally divine. Even though I have 3 cats now and am a convert, I still adore dogs, and have since as long as I can remember. Except the doberman that bit me as a kid, but I probably deserved it. Anyway, enough reminiscing.
Bons - excellent
Reet -awesome
Forshelby - I went through a stage 10 years ago of being a tad addicted to dagwood dogs, and paid the price - fatty boomba attack.... so even though one part of my mind savours the idea, the rest of me says "No Dory No". And the No wins out.
Not much else to say.. sorry to those of you I've missed.
-
Reet - Oh yes, I'm so hoping they don't want to do an internal one again..... though I must say it wasn't as horrifying as I expected. I had an internal exam at the hospital when I had my mc, and it was all fluorescent lights, legs spread eagled, NO modesty sheet.... just there naked for the world to see. It was pretty awful. This time I was all covered and the room was nice and dark and she took a quick peek so she knew where she was going, then didn't look again! Bliss! It did feel weird having a woman with a large foreign object wiggling it around in there though....... LOL omg I'm laughing now. Afterwards she said 'ok I'll leave you alone now with a box of tissues' and I just burst out laughing and said 'that would be great'. :D I hope DP can make it to the scan with me, but work is very unpredictable. They're of the mindset that there's work to be done and NOTHING is more important. He also has this complex about asking them for anything, and feels like he'll be frowned upon for asking for an early finish so he can come with me to see his BABY. I booked it as late as I could though so I really hope he can make it. I'll be so disappointed if he can't, maybe even a bit annoyed he didn't just frigging tell them he needs to finish early. Is he going to be pussyfooting around when I'm in labour? I hope not! I need his support and want him to be a part of the whole thing, not just standing on the sidelines watching me get fat. *large exhale* Ok, rant over. LOL. About my dream though I often have negative thoughts about my mum so you might be onto something there. So good to hear your hcg is so high, that's great news! When is your first scan booked in for?
Matthews mum - So good to see you in here again. And so sorry to hear you lost 1 embie during thawing. RIP little embie. I'm really excited about this transfer, hun.... my spider sense is tingling! Good luck!
Dory - LOL.. you gave me an image of the nicabate ads where there's that crowd of people saying 'NO GARY NO' hehehe. I need to think about that instead of dagwood dogs! But they're sooooooooo good. Perhaps I can make my own mini ones and not feel so guilty? :D Ok, I need to join dagwoods anonymous. LOL
AFM, call me crazy, but isn't morning sickness meant to get BETTER about now? For the last 2 days I've felt sick all bloody day. I haven't actually been sick, but I feel so bad I'm just lying on my side on the couch most of the time, looking somewhat like a potato. Oh, and DP bought me a lovely box of chocolates today because as usual I was drooling walking past the store. He still reserves the right to call me fat-belly though. Hahaha... I laughed so hard when he came out with that. I said "I'M NOT FAT, I'M PREGNANT! I need a milkshake." And yes, I got the milkshake. LOL.
Oh and while Dory's on the subject of cute dogs, we got our little foxie a new bed today. He's very rebellious about his other bed, and insists on snuggling in MY bed with me (and DP and the cat.. yep it gets pretty full in there), so we thought we'd try a different style of bedding. Long story short, we weren't sure if he would like it or if the cat would enjoy it more, so we just left it in the lounge to be claimed. 5 minutes later, here's our little puppy, snuggling into the bed and periodically running to get a new toy to put in there. He loves it! Now to get the cat her own bed so she stays out of mine!
-
Just thought i would pop in and say gday to you all, I can't believe how much I have missed in 2 days in here unbelievable.......sounds like everyone is doing really well which is great. Not much happening here for me atm AF has left and just cruising along now. Hope everyone has a great week end.
-
Forshelby - that is so CUTE about your little doggie and the new bed. I have had so many embarrassing examinations in my life that I didn't even bat an eyelid at the preg related stuff. I have to remind myself that intially it's pretty confronting. I remember for our first ever scan DH was there and I warned him about "dildo cam" and the condom.... didn't want him getting antsy or anything. M/S will be what it is.... it mostly clears up, but there can still be shocker days. Just glad you're lying around demanding the foods that you actualy feel like. The only consolation is, or at least so most women say, "it's a good sign" but it doesn't help with the constant misery huh?
-
Hello Ladies! It's so hard to keep up in here!!
Rang my Dr's surgery to book an appointment re my dizziness and tiredness and got an appointment for the 4th.. of OCTOBER!!! My GP is on leave and i REALLY don't want to see anyone else as I LOVE HER... I have really connected with her and the thought of seeing anyone else is just weird to me now! She actually cuddled me after my m/c last time! She reminds me of my Grandma! So... i guess i will just put up with this stuff til then.. i'm sure it's just my iron so maybe i'll up the dose.. 2 haemorrages (sp?) in 6 months really took a toll on my iron stores!
I'm on cd8 now (i think!) so might have to get BDing just to be safe!!
Matthew'smum~ Sending you lots of sticky vibes for your little embie!!
Claire'smummy~ We are only a few days apart in our cycles.. FX for the same Belly Buddies group!
Dory~ We have two dogs (one being a black barrel on legs! Corgi crossed retriever.... very, um... shall we say INTERESTING looking dog!? haha) and two cats, two ponies, 10 chooks AND a new bubby calf who we have to bottle feed!! Our neighbors have three Kelpies who pretty much live at our place so we get pretty busy with our animals! Wouldn't have it any other way though, poor DD would be so lonely without all her pets!
Forshelby~ Good on you for resting up and eating heaps! I don't know what a dagwood dog is but it's making me hungry!
Loops~ Great to hear you should be ok to go ahead with IVF! Fingers crossed you won't need to though... this month is not over til it's over!
Bons~ Great numbers! I think mine were 19000 at 5w6d and i was thinking twins too (my sis and cousin both had twin pregnancies) but just the one! Would've LOVED twins! Shame about the end of the friendship but you have a great attitude.
Reet~ Great numbers too! And yes, thankyou, the chiro did an excellent job on my neck... oh how i love him!!
Damprye~ Sound like a good plan stan. Goodluck with sorting all your 'stuff' out!
Melster~ Wow about your mum.. My dd used to get little psychic episodes! Freaked me out sometimes but i think it's great!
Mum22~ Good news on the m/s! Hope it doesn't get too bad for you, just enough for bubs to let you know he/she is there!
Hello to everyone i may have missed!
Better be off, DH has almost finished dinner... Yum!
Kym x
-
loops12-i should know this, but i don't ,what does pupo actually stand for?..damprye-sounds like a sensible plan, not crazy at all...dory-my dh is usually working /childminding so he misses out on the arkward exams...forshelby-from memory i think you'll be far enough along to be able to have an adominal u/s..clairesmummy-yah for af leaving ,won't be long now and you can get down to business again..stoked-happy b'dancing...thanks ladies for all your well wishes
-
Clairesmummy - Great news AF has left the building. Bring on O time!
Dory - He is a little cutie, we just love him to bits. We rescued him from the shelter, and it seems he was pretty close to being put down as he was 'on special' and had been there for 6 months. Very sad. You're definitely a trooper going through all those exams, I still get all shy thinking about them... hehe. I do take comfort in the fact that it's a good sign to feel like crap, but sometimes I just want it to lay off for a day or two so I can get some of my housewifely duties done!!
Stoked - Good to hear you got an appointment, even if it is a while away. And definitely get that sausage sizzling, woman! A dagwood dog is also known as a 'pluto pup', 'keppel dog'... hmm what else. Americans call them 'corn dogs'. It's basically a hotdog in fluffy batter, fried. I know, serious nutrition in there..... LOL. I can't help it though, I'm hooked! I haven't had one for 2 weeks now, so I'm going cold turkey. It's hard though with the show being on here on the Gold Coast... makes me want to bust in there to get a dog! :)
Matthews mum - Pupo stands for Pregnant until proven otherwise. :)
