Girls, I am seeking some advice...my temp doesnt seem to be staying high....I am worried bubba isnt going to stick.....
Temps just slowly creeping down last 3 days......maybe I shouldnt be temping.....oh goodness the stress is just too much.
Had a BT yesterday results wont be back till monday.......
-
mum22: im sorry you are feeling so stressed, i would suggest stopping the temping if they are just worrying you, its not going to make a difference to the result either way (i don't mean that to sound harsh). why isn't your blood test result going to be back today ? sending you lots of :stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl: and some of these
forshelby: enjoy your last day at work !
kellie, reet and bons how are you all feeling ?
possum: great news about your hcg, what a relief it is over for you now (and as you say RIP bubba) looks like you and i might be TTC together later in the year
iona: good to hear you are going well and looking forward to your next scan
hi to everyone i haven't mentioned !
whats the new motto for september ?
-
Forshelby- Woohoo for your last day at work today, let the fun and games begin and your cooking fest. Thank you for the prediction and I will certainly be letting you know if you are right or not....lol:pray: I hope you are.
KellBell-Thank you for the reassurance vote, I hope you are right. So how are you travelling along anyhow? How's DD going now hope she is feeling better.
Possum- Woohoo for no bleeding and your numbers dropping to 2 that is great. RIP little angel. I would be taking a break as well you have been through hell and certainly deserve a break. Let your hair down darl and treat yourself to something really nice everyday.
Mum22- I have no advise for you at all have problems with my charting at times, but I agree with Minnie that if it is stressing you out hugely stop taking your temp. You don't need the stress of it. And I can't see why they couldn't have your BT back today why do you have to wait until Monday. I live in a small rural town and they get BT results if not the same day the next day for sure unless they have huge testing to do on the bloods they have taken. I would be ringing them and telling them you would appreciate if you could get the results asap as you are stressing and it's no good for you or bub to be so stressed. Keep your chin up and everyday that you are PG you are closer to bringing bub home with you in your arms. Do try to stay strong as hard as I know that is. And if you feel the need to vent we are all here for you darl. Sending you a B-Double full of :stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl:

Possum magic - congrats on your good news (both HCG levels and new job)! you are a few steps closer to getting pregnant again :) As for your work dilemma - i'm a believer that you shouldn't put your life on hold while TTC (within reason of course).... fate would have it that if you do you won't get pregnant for years!! I'm pretty sure it's not healthy for your mental health if TTC is the only/main thing in your life .... we obsess about it enough already! life goes on, and there is really no convenient time to get pregnant is there? it's always going to be difficult to take time off work. i understand about taking a new job though as i took a new job only a few months before starting to TTC... as it turns out i shouldn't have worried as it's been some time now. I have just last week decided to book a month long holiday with hubby in January travelling around america... i was putting it off cos i kept hoping i would be (heavily) pregnant by then but that's not going to happen... and if i do end up with a BFP before we leave well i'll deal with it then.
I am still over a week away from Oing and it's killing me... having a longer cycle (35 days) sucks !!! I just hope that i at least O this month so we're in with a shot. i've been trying to think positive thoughts and do some relaxation and keep busy.... if only to keep sane. i'm also starting to wonder how much stress affects your ability to conceive? what does everyone think?
-
Oh possum, I'm so happy that your hcg levels are now down and yay to no more bleeding xoxoxo
-
Hi Lovely ladies
Mum22 ~ Thinking of you whilst you wait for your results, FX all come back great hun xo
Possum ~ Glad your HCG is down to 2 and you can take a small break and look to the future, all the best and GL in your new job. I think exactly that - "you cant put your life on hold".
To all the pg ladies ~ Thinking of you all and sending lots of :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy: GL for each different milestone and can't wait to see pics of your lil ones when they arrive into the world!
GlenGlen ~ FX you O very soon, Good luck!
Melster ~ Hoping you are just testing too early, Good luck hun and FX!
Hi to Dory, Bons, Minniemouse, Clairesmummy, Stoked and anyone else I may have missed and FX all your dreams come true.
AFM today ~ Dont know whats going on - ive got lots of AF symptoms and my temp is low too. Very strange as my cycles are normally 34 days approx and im only at CD24. Also did saliva test again last night and it indicated i was still O'ing, What the? So we DTD again last night just in case LOL. Im hoping that all the symptoms ive been having are preg symptoms and also the positive saliva tests.

Got BT results back over phone. HCG level is 35 for 3w4d pregnanct. Seems very low. Dr said they were okay....I just am worried they aren't and it it going to be another m/c. I have done another HPT and the line seems lighter, maybe it is just me all in the imagination.... I am just stressed out of my mind. Sorry that this post is all about me :(
-
Mum22 ~ Isnt that pretty early - seems ok for that time and if the doctors said it is its probably going to be ok hun. I understand why you'd be worried though because of the history. Hang in there and congratulations for the positive result  Will be sending you loads of :stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl:

Mum22- When are u getting another bt done?? They say not to worry about initial level just as long as they are going up.. so get in there tomoro if u can.. or monday and get another one. Try not to stress and dont google! I drive myself crazy with it! And maybe stop poas and taking ur temps?? I have stopped doing hpts and are feeling much better. Waiting is just the worst hey.. good luck xxx
Possum- Woohoo!!! That is great! I hope ur cycles get back to normal now quicksmart ready for oct. And yeah i agree with the rest of the girls.. going for this new job is defintely the right thing to do.. i have only just realised i cant keep putting things on hold just incase.. u will probly feel bad when u have to tell them ur utd but in the meantime work ur little butt off and they will love u and realise they cant function without u ever again! :)
Forshelby- Yipee!!!! U only have a few hrs to go!!! Woohoo!! I am SO SO SO SO jealous of u!! I might follow in ur footsteps and quit when im 10 weeks.. hhmmm it sounds so tempting :)
Loops- Ooohh i really hope ur utd too!! Have u been doing any hpt's?? Excellent that ur still bding away just in case! Ur dh wld be loving that! :) Good luck! oh one last thing i just saw in ur sig and was reminded again that ur dh has low sperm count etc.. has that improved at all do u know?? Sperm max is great at improving the little swimmers.. i reckon it defintely worked in improving my dh's.
glenglen- Long cycles are frustrating hey.. but ur nearly there!!! and hey u cld O a little earlier this month so start bding just to be on the safe side! :)
Clairesmummy- I hope ur flu is getting better. Have u been to dr yet?? are u dosed up on cold and flu tablets?? Im sure ur family arent thinking of u as a burden.. i bet u have looked after them really well when they have been sick. :)
Minnie- Hmmm september is going to be a hard one! nothing rhymes! When are u going to start ttc again??
Kellbell- Trust me i feel the same.. but my fear comes in waves.. right now im feeling fine but by tomoro i will be a stresshead again im sure! Have faith in ur body.. it knows what to do.. u have a beautiful dd as proof. We can do this!!!
Melster- Did u test again today??
Dory- How are things with u?? any news from the drs?? will things be ok if baby decides to come early??
Hi Stoked!
And hello to everyone else too! Im sorry if i have missed u.. i cant go back any further tho.
AFM- Got my bt results back.. i think i might have told u guys that my hcg levels were at 152.. that was at 4.0 wks and my next one at 4w3d were 650 so it tripled which the dr was very happy about. I am going to get another one done mid next week just to be on the safe side. That will keep me going until my scan a week a half later! I hope!! :)
Not really feeling much different.. i do get waves of nausea tho and i am feeling very short of breath at times (maybe im becoming unfit tho!!) oh and i cld have kind of sore bbs..i think! one feels a bit bruised and tender.. maybe i lent on something too hard tho?!? haha i dont know anything about this sore bb business!
I was really freaking out a couple days ago.. but im feeling a lot more calmer at the moment thank goodness.. i hope it stays like this for a lot longer!
Oh one last thing.. i got my progesterone levels checked and they are at 150.. i have done a bit of research on good old google and in the first trimester ur levels shld be between 30-90 it says?! its confusing me! maybe they use a different sysltem or something. Who knows! The dr said it was perfect tho so i guess ill just believe her! :)
-
Reet i said this in the other thread too - its fine hun high is good progesterone will sustain a pregnancy. my SIL doing IVF had supplments and hers at 5 weeks was 1000's so dont worry about it. you WANT IT AS HIGH AS POSSIBLE only low is bad as in my case it leads to m/c. Good progesterone sounds means good pregnancy so your levels sounds great!!!!!
ill be stoked if my progesterone is any where as near as good as yours FX
Mum22 that sounds fine for that time frame - as long as they go up on the next test thats what they look for
my stupid GP wont give results over the phone so have to wait till monday at 9.30 :wall:
-
mum22: am i reading ur chart right that af isnt due until tomorrow ?
reet: great news on your numbers tripiling (is that a word lol) i hope you continue to feel calmer rather than stressed. i got af today, day 36, wish they would get shorter, when ttc shorter cycles would be better so i dont have to wait so long to ovulate.
loops: are you going to pee on a stick ?
-
Hi ladies
Not gunna do POAS just yet - im thinking possibly tomorrow as im going to a party tomorrow night but Id prefer to hold off on testing for as long as I can. I do have a couple in the cupboard ;) Thanks for you wishes etc! xo This arvo I had a big headspin and my head feels all over the place - very lightheaded and a bit headachey.
Does anyone know if headaches are common with early pg?
Reet ~ Yep DH is loving it LOL. Im usually one to be a bit slack in that department so he's been enjoying it def. And he deserves it. Fortunately my uncle is a naturopath so DH and I are both on tablets for fertility etc. I reckon they are def working and DH also gave up ciggies few weeks ago :). Im happy you are finally relaxing a bit. With my m/c BFP my progesterone only got to about 12 and hence didnt stick. And that was with progesterone support too with IVF. So 150 sounds excellent - very happy for you xo.
Kellbell ~ Sorry you have to wait, FX for great results!
Hi all xo
-
Minnie, yep AF not due till tomorrow. I have made the WORST mistake and decided to test early and dont worry DH is making sure to rub it in......
I have another Dr apt monday as he wanted to discuss rest of results blood grouping etc (this was made at the time I got forms for them) so I will demand another BT then. Yes 38 days would make it a long time to wait.....I ovulate on day 19 and it is bloody annoying.... That said my friend has 21 day cycles which are like clockwork 21 days after her last Af she arrives again for a 5 day stay that is only 16 days without AF per cycle....more Af's for her and she gets them really bad I feel terrible for her!
I just feel really strange, last two preg I had real terribly nausea, this time I have it only every now and then.... I suppose every preg is different that is what I keep telling myself and for all I know it is a boy (last two were girls) maybe that is why things are different....I barely feel pregnant. My nipples are a little tender that is all I reckon.
Girls should I be getting progesterone checked? You both are is that something I need to ask for??
Kell that is strange that he wont give results over phone for you sweetie...what a mean mean Dr. I just rang and my clinic has a nurse I expl how I felt stressed she said she would speak to the Dr and get him to call me :) she was really really nice. I am lucky at the clinic where I have chosen as the receptionists are soooo nice too. My Dr I couldnt say a bad thing about him, I have been taking my kids to him and he is sooo thorough. I think he is of Indian descent, possibly, not really sure, but I actually commented last time I was there that I was very impressed with how friendly he was with my kids. I'd be happy to pay a little extra like I had to with the rude family Dr I had previously. But lucky for me it is all bulk billed even the preg tests were bulk billed :) lovely. I thought I would go through this one for this preg as last time whenever I had probs the receptionists were sooo mean to me if I needed an appointment and even glared at me in the waiting room like I dont have better things to do than sit at the Dr with my DD who was 2 at the time.
Reet, he he we both were bad and tested way too early. Yes I think it is time to stop POAS and stop temping and to just go with the flow. But it is sooo hard, I soooo want another baby sooo badly. I keep wanting to get excited about Due dates etc but cant.....why oh why do we girls have our chances of that bliss free preg that so many other people have. I just want one easy preg where I can just breathe and not stress and not have spotting/bleeding etc or cramping just a friggin nice pregnancy which they have on the television shows, or that some of my mates have had. I dunno, I just keep asking why me for the stressy one. I dont think I am asking much, in all honestly I think the last 2 preg and the stress they gave me and then the chem last month that I have done my share time to dish it out to one of the other girls who have had 2 troublefree pregnancies for their turn. Hmmm, a little mean, but it is how I feel :) All of us in this group deserve our time3 to have a nice preg :)
-
Loops lightheaded is. I'm not sure about headaches...probably the stress of it all sweetie :)
-
yeah my progesterone only got to 8 with our first miscarriage even with support.
yep Mum22 ask with the next test for progesterone as well its important along with the HCG i had great HCG with my first loss and no progesterone.
they gave me pessaries to try and keep the preg but it didnt work
the reason it could have been low was that it wasnt a sticky pregnancy
anyway i always get it checked now and i make them put it on the form
the doctors rang to say they needed another MSU but wouldnt tell me the levels i assume they were okay or he would have said something:doh:
she said hell tell me on monday all the results
going to be a long weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i went for a new haircut today to cheer myself up :p
-
Kell, I am a pro at MSU samples, I have UTI freq throughout preg very annoying. Sometimes the results from MSU can come back saying they weren't collected properly sometimes this is because the jar is contaminated (wasn't sterile to start with) or they didnt store it correctly....meaning it didnt go into the fridge at the right time etc. Oh sometimes if you dont pee enough to start off with hence mid stream, then it will have bacteria etc that you shouldnt have in it :) it will just be that so dont fret. Just annoying having to provide another sample with preg bladder :)
-
Use that member in September ;) LOL
Sore bust in August seemed to work so hopefully I will be lucky enough to pick a second lucky motto haha.
I don't recon I will have my own lucky motto until about end Jan/beginning of Feb when I fell pg with Angel #1 was due 19th Oct 06 and DS was due 21st Oct 07 haha, my lucky time ;)
-
Mum22-Yeah i wld defintely be asking for the progesterone bt too. Life can be pretty unfair..i wld love to have a stressfree pg like everyone else i know! Im extremely jealous! Oh well we will all get there.. i hope! :)
Kell- Im freaking out cos i read that ectopic pg's have high progesterone readings! But im sure dr wld have said something to me if that were the case! I cant believe ur dr wont give results on the phone! That sux! At both my gyno and normal dr the receptionists always give me the results! And if theres any probs the dr then calls me. It is going to be a looong weekend! Are u working?? Try and enjoy urself. Monday will be here in no time at all :)
Loops- Yes i think headaches is a symptom! Ill try and find the page later on which has all the early pg symptoms on it and put the link on this page.. there are so many! Im sure at any given time of the month we cld probly have half of them! haha. Good luck tho. I hope u have to have a sober night tomoro nite! ;)
Damprye- Oct must be ur lucky month! Lets hope ur utd before next yr tho FX!
Oh and girls what is MSU???!! And why have i not heard of it?!! Am i missing something? :)
Minnie- U poor thing having to wait 36 days for af! Did u end up getting any maca??
AFM- Just about to go and pick up my girl from the vets.. got her desexed today.. :( sniff sniff. She will be getting lots of cuddles tonight! And so will my dh when we finally arrives! He was meant to be back yesterday but got delayed.. still waiting patiently! :)
