Mummydeb - sorry about af showing her horrid face. At least you are seeing the positives & as you say won't be sick when moving. Full steam ahead for the next cycle I say. My cycle has been noticably heavier since my m/c & d&C in Oct too.
Wannabemum - I pretty much have 28/29 day cycles so I appreciate how lucky I am.
Maybe the acupuncture could be something to try to reign those long cycles in??? GL with the new thermometer - lets hope it records some nice high temps!!
MM -don't know about the CM but fingers x'd it is a good sign. So one week till testing huh. Oeeeer, exciting
Hi to Shan, Joeve & anyone else I have missed.
I had newborn cuddles today - my bestie had a little girl & the cuddles were devine I must say....
Anyway, CD4 for me so boring, early days.
    Have a great weekend all!!

Hey Tascha - It's hard isn't it - don't worry, I'm there too! I'm desperate to be pg again. I think that's why I tested so early and so often last cycle. Silly. Driving you mad? At least we're all in the same boat...
mummytotwo - if you've got a pretty normal cycle, I think there may be three of us in the next tww together - you might be a few days ahead, but it'll be nice to go through it with more people! How good are newborn cuddles! Hopefully the new thermometer turns up soon so I can get a few readings in before O so it's all accurate.
MM - not sure about the CM, did you "know" you were pg with Matthew before the test? I didn't with DS. You might see the same signs.

Interesting isn't it that most of us here have long cycles. My naturopath said the other day that a long cycle can increase the risk of m/c because the egg can degrade through a long follicular phase... She's given me some herbs to regulate and shorten my cycle, and there are a couple more steps I can take too. I'm scheduled to see the acupuncturist on Thursday - primarily for my back and neck, but I'll certainly be discussing TTC with him too. I've never seen one before, so it'll be an interesting experience.

Wow I didn't know that about long cycles...mine generally is a 32 day cycle, but I've had a few 35day ones now... May have to look into seeing a naturopath to see what I can do...I'm just like you girls, desperate to be pregnant again, although in saying that I"m glad I aren't about to have a baby, I really don't think I would cope with a 2 year old who is very needy, so I think by the time it does finally happen, he will be that bit older and a bit easier to handle and my DD will be at school which is even better

Hope we can get a few BFP this cycle, sounds like we could have a few in the 2ww together! Maybe we will end up with November babies

yay for November babies But really, I'll be happy whenever they come along - I would like a 2011 baby though, but if I don't get one, I'll get the one that's perfect for me. A friend of mine lost a baby and was saying the same, she was, in the end kinda glad because her DS turned into a monster and it meant she could deal with him - also now he's toilet trained so she's only got one lot of nappies.

Naturopath also said that apparently not everyone can metabolise the inactive form of folic acid in tablets, so if you have a couple of m/cs it's worth taking the liquid active form. I haven't done that yet, so far only one, but if I have another one I'll certainly think about it.

hi everyone, joeve-how are you?..mummytotwo-exciting'o'days around just aound the corner...tascha-the want /need to be pregnant again,so many know that feeling,i've been ttc'ing for over 2 years now & everyone is different but i feel that being pregnant again gives you something back ,bring some joy through the heartbreak of loss...wannemum-good luck with seeing acupuncture.I think 'knowing'with matthew was more wishful thinking,i do remember an increase in cm though but not this early...mummydeb-November has a special place in my heart....shan-have you started clomid?..afm-cm turned a red streking colour, then a brownish colour, then light bleeding, to creamy colour.now it's clear again.had some slight cramping as well.ivf clinic said it could still go one way or other, just got to wait it out.Seeing acupuncturist tomorrow & she is going to mix me up some herbs

Hi there everyone. Can I join in your thread? Technically I'm not TTC officially yet, since it's only day 2 of AF straight after my MC, but I'm not using contraception either

We started TTC in September last year & I fell PG after 2 cycles. LMP was 29th Oct. I had a missed miscarriage though & didn't know until my 12 wk scan exactly a month ago today.

I opted for misoprostol to get the MC going (that's a whole other horror story) & bled heavy for a week & very light/spotting for 1.5 wks (VERY annoying). 31 days later and AF has returned, quite heavily, yesterday. Started temping & charting again this morning but will take this cycle as it comes & not actively try again until next cycle. If I do happen to get PG this cycle though, great! Not likely though.

Welcome Phebee, so sorry for your loss, its so hard, and I hope your BFP comes sooner then later, and hope that your next pregnancy is a sticky one

AFM day 5 of AF, just want it to stop already...its been so heavy this cycle, mum said thats a good sign of a good cleanout and might make me a bit more fertile, hope shes right! Hopefully with temping it will happen this month and I won't miss Ovulation!!

Matthews Mum : Good luck with the acupuncturist

Big hellos and to everyone, lets bring on more

phebee -welcome sweets - hope you can be utd again in no time at all!!
MM - oooh, that all sounds very interesting. Lets hope it's implantation & all that jazz. Do you have BTs the 25th? If so when do you find out the results?? GL hun.
Mummydeb - that makes sense about s heavy period being a good prep for a sticky pg -lets hope your mum is right!!
I normally have a fairly heavy period too although the last few have been heavy for about 2 days then that's pretty much it!?!? I used to have a regular 7 day period. Not too sure what's going on there.....
Anyway, CD 8 for me so not much happening here for the mo.
Baby dust to all & bbl xxxx

Welcome pheebee, as it was said to me, I hope your stay here is short and a bfp is in your near future. I'm so sorry for your loss.

MM - definitely hoping it's some implantation spotting!! Looking forward to friday
MummyDeb - hope Mum is right for all of us! I hate heavy af.
Mummytotwo - you and me both, CD what? 12 for me? still a long time to go before O.

afm, got a new thermometer today, much more sensitive. Took my temp this arvo with both at once (testing). It seems to measure about 0.1 lower, so not too bad off, shouldn't take FF too long to work it out - and at least I've got at least a couple of weeks before O unless the herbs really start working. Yucky colds in my house at the moment, me and DS both feeling awful. Hope we're better soon!

Ooh I really hope the heavy AF thing is true. This is my heaviest ever. I'm beginning to think more is coming out than during my MC, but there was a definite 2 weeks without anything so I'm sure it's AF and not just MC back from having a holiday or something.

Normally I can get by with changing pads 1st thing in the morning, 3-4:00 ish and just before bed, but today I have had to change 5 times and they have been full! Sorry for TMI but it has me bewildered

Hi pheebee - my cousin was telling me to expect my next period to be super heavy. Mine wasn't much worse, but it's always heavy! But I bled a lot for 14 days with the m/c, then had a pretty normal cycle after that. So hope it's true and it'll all be cleared out ready for a sticky baby.

I so hope its true!! I was like you Pheebee with this AF changing pad every few hours!! Such a pain but if it means I'm going to be more fertile then all worth it

I pretty much had all the blood come out just before my DnC when I m/c cos after the DnC I spotted for a couple of days and that was it, then had 2 lightish periods after... But my 2 cycles after the m/c I didn't do any temping and I'm pretty sure I missed Ovulation so had no chance of falling preg cos we didn't BD at the right time!

CD6 today and looks like AF has finally stopped!! Yay so now countdown to Ovulation!!!

WannabeMum my periods are usually heavy too... Or so I thought! This is like double the usual! Oh well hopefully that means it will end sooner

MummyDeb: YAY for AF leaving. GL with catching the egg! I never has a D&C cause after my second round of misoprostol, the Dr who scanned me said it wasn't necessary as it was just blood left.

I didn't have a D&C either, passed it all naturally, um, not so yay, and my Ob is pretty conservative, I was glad I didn't have to have an op. It's not quite all fun and games is it. Can't wait for another gorgeous pregnancy, I love being pregnant.

hi ladies i know i havent been around this last few days, been having a bit of a break and working my butt off at school and worked most of the weekend. Still no AF so got an appointment tomorrow after school to get provera then start clomid. Its been awful having the pill in my bathroom that could solve my issues with m/c and having a horrible time trying (the BD isnt horrid, just not getting that BFP is sh*t)

Im super tired now so ill update tomorrow arvo
    xx sticky vibes to all
