I had a mc in January, missed mc at my 12 week scan so I think the baby actually died at about 7-8 weeks. My mc was induced by misoprostol (big mistake!) and I bled heavily for a week and lightly for a week. AF came back about 1.5 weeks later. Bit my cycles are pretty short - 24 days -and they run like clockwork. Despite that, I was quite surprised AF came so soon as I'd heard it can take ages. I guess it just varies from woman to woman. How long are your cycles usually?
Mia, did you have a D&C? Welcome by the way, I'm sorry that you're here, and I hope it's not for long. We've just had 3 bfps in here, so there are some good vibes going on at the moment.
My post-m/c cycle was 41 days I think, but it was a natural m/c. I think if you have a D&C, because they so completely remove the endometrium it can take a while for it to rebuild and the hormones to catch up, if you bleed naturally it's often that your hormones are already relatively back on track. 41 days wasn't too long for me. I'd say their advice is pretty good, especially if you had a D&C.

I had a d/c on 2 different occasions at 12 wks after missed m/c's & this last time my af came back exactly 28days after which is my normal cycle. Another eg of us all being so different though. Hope it happens quickly for you.

I found out 2 lovely ladies are pregnant this weekend. Really pleased for both. Really sad im not joining them at this stage.
I had the 25th of Nov im my dreams and in my head at random times.. was really hoping it meant something. But even now as I think im heading into the twt.. im sure we missed the boat again.
