Trying to Conceive after Miscarriage or Loss ~ July 08 #3

jen.... No, I didnt write them, When I lost my angels I spent so much time trying to find answers and searched the internet for many many many hours for days and weeks. I ended up putting what I found into a web site..... my web site below.... so that it might help someone who is going through what we have been through.

I did however write this one

:crying: How hard that must've been for you to write... I wish I could find the words to create my own- my skills as a poet, well, let's just say I suck!

DH just looked at me funny... its nearly 3am here and the house is quiet...and all of a sudden I just laugh... "well, let's just say I suck" :ROFL: :ROFL: :ROFL:

For me with peoms if I try to push it it wont happen. Every poem I have written comes directly from the heart and most of them will never be read by anyone else. There are some that I will read over and think.... Ohhh that could have read differently but I leave it and never alter them. They all are as they are... it was what was in my heart at the time that I wrote it.

So now that you have given me a laugh for this evening.... I m going off to bed.... wellllll not quite off to sleep..... :ttc: :bd: :ttc:

But before I go smilanatu.... WE are here for you hun..... and WE understand :hug:

:lol: Angel, I was just being completely honest, but glad to have given you a good laugh! Hey, I was wondering what DH was up to while you're up so late on the computer! I was hoping I wasn't keeping you from your :bd: efforts. Wow, 3 a.m., you two are night owls! Remember, no ugly nighties tonight! Will promise not to disturb your baby making efforts!! Go catch that egg!

I'm boo hooing at my desk...I feel like my heart could burst because jen and Angel Babies...you ladies are the BEST!!! It's amazing how the people closest to you can break your heart and people you've never even met can pick up the pieces and put them all back together...I appreciate you bith more than you know! We've all been brought together
In grievance of our losses,
To bring each other comfort
And support as we bear our crosses.

We found no comfort elsewhere
And as we searched in vain,
We came across this lovely site
to share each other's pain.

With unconditional support
And unmatched understanding,
There is no judgement here.

Smilanatu - :hug: you sure don't need enemies do you. You'd think that someone who has had a m/c would understand where you come from. I guess not everyone is as thoughtful and sensitive as us (that's what makes us great people). I believe everyone has the right to grieve in their own way, but they shouldn't push that way onto others. Maybe this is her way of coping with her m/c. I would send her Angel's website and make sure her poems are in her face. Maybe it will give her a reality check. :hug:

AFM - waiting, waiting, I've ran out of tests so have to wait to POAS. (just adding to the suspense). Temps look good, but don't know, have no symptoms, so not holding my breath.

Krystie - LOL about DH. Better be careful, he may be right he'll get all the symptoms, watch out everyone. You know how men are if they get sick. Love your new name. Do you often work long shifts, you may need to cut that out if DH is UTD.

smilanatu- what sort of friend does that? i still can't believe it and it makes me so angry, can only imagine how hurt you are. i have been dealing with some insensitve people lately too, i had a big cry and got it all out but now i have had to put up my little armour and shut those people out. i have to do it to protect myself. i know if i need to talk i have dh or i have you ladies, and that's all i need. anyone who is going to make me feel bad is not worth the time and effort. i'm not saying you should shut your best friend out completely but maybe don't look to her for your much needed support at this time. remember we are always here for you and we always understand the pain :hug:

Im going to test on Saturday i think....i just had a look at last months chart, my temp took a big dive on day 28...today is day 28 and its still up!!! woo hoo!!! no other symptoms yet though...however last time i felt pg i didnt get symptoms till a week after AF was due...

so, girls, im asking all of you to say a big prayer for me today...Please????

Smilantu - I am sure your friend mean't well (much like slapping someone to check they are not unconscious - hmmmmmmmm). But you don't need a slap. You need love and understanding. I cannot believe the lack of empathy. But you have it here, hon' :hug:

Mollycat - Wow your chart looks great this month. Day 5dpo looks so much like an implantation dip. Coverlines can be out by one day either side. That would give you a dip at 6dpo which is right on track. WOW! :bluedust:

KrystieLove - I continue to watch you chart with great enthusiasm. I don't want to jinx you, but if DH is getting sympathy symptoms I reckon your next, sista! :bluedust:

Jen - your poem rocked! I think it should be posted on the M&L homepage!

Angelbabies - you are the sweetest thing. I balled again reading those beautiful words. Your bracelets are a beautiful idea. Not advertising your story to the world - simply a loving reminder for a woman who has had to wear "those shoes".

AFM - I am doing better this morning. Actually slept last night. Have been stressing because DH is going abroad for work for a week, in a week, and I am afraid to be without him during these early risky weeks. I just can't face the possibility of going into hospital again for the third time in a year without him at my side. This morning we came to a compromise (he will take off some time before and after). At least this will keep me calmer until he goes. Am I selfish?

joey--Your chart's looking great, as well! How did DD enjoy her sleep over? Did you get any sleep at all sharing a common wall with them?? :crossfingers: I can get DF in the mood tonight--he came home from work, was home for 10 min., and got called back in for a big leak. He's on his way home now--3 hours later! I'm praying for your BFP on Sat.! Looks like that's the lucky day, there's quite a few testing!

Jen - Actually I did get quite a good sleep. I went into detail in the huge post that I lost :angry::computer:

I was alseep by 9pm. At 10pm DD comes in and wakes me up to tell me that one of the glow stick braclets that I had given them had broken and there is glow stick 'juice' all over the place. Oh my!! Walked in there, and because of the mattresses and the number of bodies, there was no carpet exposed. Thank goodness, so it just ended up on the doona and a little in the cupboard. I just said, "it'll be right. Good night". :ROFL: And off I went back to bed. They say they were awake till 11am. I have DD very well trained. She knows to be as silent as a mouse when I am sleeping, and she doesn't dare wake me or come anywhere near my room before 7am. She's a darling :loveshower:

Good luck with your :bd:. Hope those little swimmers don't have to stop and ask for directions ... here's a thought ... would you like to borrow some glow stick 'juice'? It may help lead the way?? :ROFL:

Smilanatu - I'm so happy you are still in "the game" :D Hopefully your pink smudge was from implantation!
Now, about that email... I actually find it really sad that someone that has been through a loss of their own is so totally clueless as to how many of us feel! Although the loss of my angel was absolutely devastating, the love I felt (and still feel) for her was so great and I would never give that up. I feel a little sad for your friend because from what she's written I don't think she ever felt that overwhelming love for her angel.
Just remember that the reason you are grieving so bad is because of how much love you have for a baby. So when you ask yourself "why do I want another baby SO bad?" like she asks, all you have to do is remember the love that is causing you so much pain and you already know the answer :hug:

Jen and Mollycat - I used to do three 11-hour shifts each week, but I have cut it down to just one now. All my other days are shorter (6-7 hours usually). If DH gets morning sickness as bad as I did when he is pregnant, then I might have to start maternity leave at 7 weeks!

Jen - My pg test stick didn't succumb to your first-July-BFP pressure this morning grrrrr.

Angel Babies - I've read that Shoe poem on your site before, but I read it again at work today and got all teary again. Then a client walked in and I felt a little foolish, but I don't think she noticed.
The poem to your babies is heart-wrenching, but in the most beautiful way possible. They are the luckiest little angel babies to have you as their mummy :hug:

Tina - 12DPO and you temp is still looking fabo! I'm sure that you, me and half of this thread are going to be in the same belly buddy group! The other half of this thread are going to be in the belly buddy group half a month following!!

WTH - DOn't worry! I don't believe in jinxing! I'm so glad you slept well last night (unlike me with morning insomnia!). I don't think you are selfish at all to want your DH around you during stressful times. I was at my best friends baby's birth because her DH was at sea (navy) and she regrets him not being there. And now he's about to have his 1st bday and he's going to sea for a month again! Plus he missed out on more than 6 months of his baby's first year of life! OMG, I'm so just ranting now... Back to you! The moral of my little rant was that my friend really regrets not having her DH around for some really important times in her life. Sometimes that daddy's just need a little reminding that parenthood has to come first. I'm sure your DH is fantastic, so maybe just make sure he knows how you are feeling so that he can try to be with you when you need him most :hug:

Joey - No BFP this morning, but it's only because the stick is not registering my BFP YET! ;) Sticking to my "even DPO days" rule I'll have to skip testing tomorrow and do another on Saturday. Unless I make a different deal with myself... Hmmm, I'll think on it, hehehe.
You know what would be a great invention?! A heated mouse! My hand always gets cold on the computer mouse, but it would stay warm if it was heated! And maybe a keyboard that blows warm air up between the keys to keep our little "fingies" warm :D

AFM - Only one line on the stick this morning. The second line thinks hiding is funny, but it's not, so I'm going to have a chat to it and I'm sure it'll see my reasoning and show up on the next test.
I did get morning insomnia from about 5am this morning which is what was happening when I was pregnant. Don't want to read too much into it thoguh because DH was snoring pretty loud and his sleep apnoea was bad, so it may have been that keeping me awake.

OMG, have to run. RayRay from BB is at my work and I have to drive back! No time for pretty name colors! I'll have to edit them in later!!!

OMG... all I did was :dance: and :asleep: and now I have a novel to catch up on

jen805... yes we are night owls.... next business we get needs to be a night time one... DH is normally on the couch with his laptop, playing Tibia which is an online game... its his release from everything he says... DS (16 year old) also plays it and it has been a great way to knock down the wall that was between them.

As for your poem... love it. I am certainly no expert but the way I look at it is if it comes from the heart then it cant be beaten..... and sappy is the new thing.

He wasnt impressed... which leaves me with the same conclusion as PBstar..... we have DH and we have each other.... bugger the rest of them.... we dont need them to understand.... Yeah I think i can do that............ I m sure you would have them over there but just call it something different..... its like an oversized pillow case (size of your bed) and its filled with either feathers or some other kind of fluffy stuff..... its just the best best best thing... you lay in bed and instead of it being heavy like blankets are... it just falls down around you keeping you nice and snuggly... I LOVE MY DOONA

Angel Babies - Lol, don't worry, I swear I wasn't making up new acronyms and slang for the thread. A member of BellyBelly (RayRay) was bringing me a book and she turned up at my work mid-way through my lunch break so I quickly had to drive back. It was so sweet of her to bring me the book :D
I'll have a chat to the next pee stick I use and let you know if I need you to kick it's butt for me :ROFL: They are internet cheapies, but it's from the same batch that I got my BFP on last time at 14DPO so at least I know they work.

Just a quick one to let you all know that my NT scan went really well today. It was amazing and there were lots of happy tears. Bub was wriggling around heaps.

Hey all, just a quickie for now. very tired so I'll save th personals for later.
Got my forst round of blood results back today and all of them had notes next to them from the doctor saying "no action to be taken" and apparently were all fine (definitely not pg, though). So it looks like I probably don't have pcos as my testosterone and blood sugar levels were normal. So af must just be being wacky for the heck of it. I just remembered that I have been lactating for the past 3 yrs (just a tiny bit, no need for pads) so maybe thats it. Hmmm. Was very happy about the results and lack of pcos (was so stressed I would have it!!), but then got home to find out my bird had been attacked by my mum's cats and died today. So a bit sad now.
