so girls, just wondering if any of you know if it is normal to get period pain like cramps in early pregnancy? ive been getting cramps today and its freaking me out a bit.....

I haven't been posting, but have been reading this board and "stalking" you for months now. I so hope you all get your bubs soon!
Just writing this to put Tina's mind at ease - yes, I had a lot of cramps with both pregnancies, particularly in the early weeks. It feels just like period cramps, which is kind of scary. It is your uterus stretching to accomodate the bub, and it is normal. So cheer up, it is just a baby growning.
1. You sign a 2-year contract and pay $60 more per month just to have wireless internet service for a 5 day camping trip!
2. Your significant other walks in on you checking the position of your cervix, and actually gets turned on from it!
3. You resort to becoming an adult film industry advocate in order to "keep things alive" during those fertile times!
4. You read, post, and then refresh to read again in case you missed a post while posting!
5. You dream of being the first to post in the new thread!
6. You feel like you are wasting urine when you don't pee on a stick!
7. You see abbreviations in everyday life and try to work out what they mean in the TTC world (eg. DVD must stand for something like "Doing the vjay vjay dance"...)
8. When you get excited about choosing a new ticker....oh the choices!!!!!
9. You actually think in emoticons and abbreviations...and occasionally call your husband DH....and he says, "what the hell did you call me????".
10. And the biggest one of all....DH actually asks if it was a light or dark "BFP" (not positive test) and whether or not you used "FMU" to test!!!! (all in abbreviations...)
11. When getting a coverline makes you so happy, you feel as though you won the lottery!
12. When you look forward to going to bed just so you can wake up in the morning and add a new temp!
13. You say you are taking a break from bb and then spend 24 hours trying to do anything but log on, including cleaning, washing, ironing, shopping, all the while saying to yourself don't do it don't do it don't do it before finally breaking down and getting your bb fix...
14. You drag yourself out of bed at 6 am every morning even though you're still tired, just to have "quiet alone time" on BB while the kids are still sleeping!
15. You get the butterflies while logging on to read posts!
16. You keep your computer on all day long so you know as soon as someone has made a post!
17. You know you are addicted to BB when you go to put the date on something and you end up writing 9 DPO! lol...
18. You're whole day is ruined just because you can't log onto BB, and you feel like you're going to go insane without it!
19. You climb a slide and drive up the tallest hills at your camp spot trying to find a signal so your laptop will work! lol...
20. You bring your laptop to the drive-in with you so you can check on posts in between shows!
21. You check your chart at least every half hour, because what if somehow it changed?
22. You wake up at 2:30 in the morning to use the toilet, and contemplate logging on to see if there's any good news that can't wait until morning!
23. You wake up at 3 a.m. and have to pee so bad, but you know you'll wake up at 6, so you hold it for three more hours so that you don't ruin your temp!
24. You toss and turn every morning waiting for it to be time to take your temp!
25. When DH comments that he's your family, not the girls on BB! (What does he know, anyway? lol...)
26. You sign on from your mobile phone to let off some steam!
27. You post 3 times in a row, and twice was just because you ran out of smilies!!!
28. When you're reading and typing posts in your dreams!
29. When sitting on the couch watching TV, you position yourself so that you can see the computer screen so you know as soon as a message pops up! Not only that, but you end up watching the computer screen more than the TV!
30. You run to check posts during an ad break of a show you're watching, then an hour later you realize you missed the end of your show!
31. When new smilies make you smilie!!
32. When you stop a movie during the sex scene because it reminds you to check BB!
33. When you burn your dinner because you're too busy checking your posts! D'oh!
34. When you begin stalking people's charts and keeping up with their BD stats!
35. When you've got more than one (3) fertility charts--just to make sure you really know what's going on with your cycle!
36. When you feel jealous that your kids are on your computer taking up your BB time!!
37. When class is about to start and you're quickly typing away at the back on the computer, hoping the kids don't see what you are typing!!
38. When the chat room makes you feel like a kid in a candy store! *moo*, *meow*, *evil* lol...

tina! I'm sure the cramps you're experiencing are due to bubs getting nice and comfy for the next 9 mo's! Did you ever get your OB appt. worked out?
Easha--Sorry to hear about your bloody CM, probably your body just getting rid of anything old for baby!! I'm for your BFP--don't give up yet!
smilanatu--I thought I was seeing things when I saw your post! I think that's the first one ever at night! Thanks for tonight's course: Time Zone 101... I think everyone else pooped out on me before we could make it to the chat room this morning! Ooh, lucky Lee! Go get that egg, girl!
tutmae--What happened with your temp yesterday? There is none! How can I dutifully stalk your chart? It was an awfully quiet day without you yesterday! Hope things are ok...
plc--I'm ready and waiting for some live chat! I have a feeling you're long right now, though! Isn't it amazing how growing a baby is such tiring work?
Easha - Take heart in the fact that your temp is still nice and high honey! My temp always drops at least a day or 2 before AF shows so I think everything is still going well for you!
Tina - When I was pregnant I had a strange sensation in my uterus, similar to period pains, but not quite the same. I'm sure what you are feeling is perfectly normal and that bubs is doing fabulously.
Angel - Are you trying to keep you mind pure and innocent tonight by not visiting the chat room? I'm sure Jen and I can bring some filth into the thread for you instead though...

Smilanatu - Good work with the time conversions!!! I suck at even keeping track of when my sis is awake in London!

Jen - Can I borrow some socks? How much will-power do you have? How soon will you start testing this month?
Krystie--No lumpy butts! Go for the padded panties! I'm going to try not to test until AF is late. FF says to test in 6 days...I think I'll just wait it out and see what happens. I mean, if I start to get all kinds of symptoms then I may test earlier, but for now, I'm still looking for an implantation dip!

to all you ladies - DF and I decided to try this one cycle before taking a break.. If I am UTD this cycle, I'll be due on April 20th 2009 - My 24th birthday! I'm really hoping we get UTD this cycle - DF even said we'll DTD every night to make sure we catch the egg (hasn't happened yet because of me being sick with the flu) because he wants it to be my birthday present! I think it would be perfect! Sorry bout the 'me' post, good luck to those who are testing soon - I'll be hanging around for this one cycle

Easha: Oh hun I am praying for you.. how is that spotting going?.. I hope you stay pregnant.. if this gives you peace of mind with my son I had what looked like a light period until I was like 12 weeks.
And still carried him well not to full term but till 34 weeks.. but I had complications. I hopw you and your baby are ok hun.

Tina: I am wondering the same thing cuz I remember cramping but I miscarried both pregnancies.. so wondering the same ..anyone??? I read its normal but the internet says many things..

Ok mommas.. this is the best I have gotten so far... I POAS this AM and got a veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery faint line on 2 brands.. when I mean faint I'm not kidding.. here is the image please let me know what you think..please be honest I'm not looking for a "yes I see it" if it's not true ok?.. LOL
I'm going to continue POAS this followin week inhopes its a good sign of a comming BFP!!

Just want to thank everyone for the hugs and words about the death of little Kelly dog. They mean so much to us. It seems so strange walking outside and not having her at my feet.
Ruthie - I think I can see a faint line but I'm not too sure, it's hard to see.
LJ - glad to see you're still with us (wish you didn't have to be here anymore - LOL). So you're obviously joining the April club - the more the merrier.
Joey - hope everything is ok? You are being very quiet.
Tina - I had strange pains when I was pg as well - they say it's just the uterus growing with bubs. Everything will be fine.

Thank you. yeah I know.. I will continue to POAS this coming week. This is the best I have gotten so far... I have been having nothing but BFns last week...you can see it much better in person but that's no excuse... they are pretty faint.
If I have such hormone in me (the HCG) I will let a few days pass to POAS.. I will test on Monday and so on.. if I get something better I sure will let you know momma! how are you doing?
I hope we all get our BFPS ASAP!!!!

I have been waiting for so long, dreaming about a baby... and am worried sick that I might m/c again.. but I guess it's every angel mommy's burden.. to worry it might happen again ya know?
