Lisa, LOL at giving DH the night off but just making sure with the OPK. You are so going to end up with a BFP this month - how could you not you are definately going to be up the duff.

Michelle, I hope the TWW is over quickly with a BFP for you. Sounds like a really good chance with the O Pain and i am sure you managed to get a bit of BDing down at the right time....bring on the BFP!!!!!

Moglie, I am really sorry about your BFN but like everyone already said it sounds as though it could just be to early. I hope you get that BFP real soon.

Belle, Wow at the alergy thing! LOL at not being able to clean - i hope you milk it! I am really glad that you finally got a BFN and that the bleeding has pretty much stopped. It will be a BFP in no time you watch!

Shell, Warm wishes for your EDD on Sunday, its such a hard day and my thoughts will be with you what a lovely idea about the plant! We have a pink "angelface" rose for our Katelyn. They are really nice and smell beautiful.

Shan, Yay for AF being over bring on the Bedfest and of course your BFP at the end of this month!

Thanks to the girls that commented on my site... started as a blog just to get all my feelings out when I lost Amy... kinda grew a little :)

I'm on CD12 today, but don't normally O until about CD20 or so (temping and just starting OPK's). I had a chemical pg last cycle though and it kinda feels like my body is gearing up to O a bit earlier, but I could be wrong - quite often am lol.

I hope you'll let me in here, we're not actually ttc yet, but I have been 'lurking' around and thought I should say hi!

I had a missed mc and d&c three weeks ago. We have asked by my ob to wait two cycles (at least one) before ttc again, so hopefully that will be mid-late september. I'm v. excited tonight because I did two different OPKs and they both came up +! :D Who would think you could be so excited about ovulating (I certainly wouldn't have three weeks ago), but I was starting to worry that I was going to have 17 week cycles or something, and that we wouldn't be able to ttc for ages! So I'm very pleased, and hoping that next month is also five weeks (or less)-bring on the bding! It still feels like so long though.....

Looking forward to getting to know all of you, and wishing you lots of luck in your ttc journeys. Can't wait to see those sticky BFPs all over the place!:)

Shan, it would be lovely to get BFP's together. I wish that we could ALL get BFP's together! But since I'm such a newbie here, I would happily give up my spot for any of these other lovely ladies :grouphug: I wish I could wave a magic wand and make you all pregnant!!!

Lisa, ROFL @ giving your DH a whole two nights off! Well, I'm sure he's not complaining about all the action ;) And you're right, if you're not temping or checking your cm, the best way to catch the eggie is to BD every night! You've just gotta catch it!!! Yes, everyone here is so deserving of a precious bundle, especially after what we've all been through. Here's hoping there's a mass exodus over to PAML this month! I really do have a great feeling about this month...so who's it going to be???

Sarah, yup it's great being able to get out of cleaning. Although after Lisa's environmentally friendly alternatives, I might not be able to milk it for too much longer! LOL How are you going, hon? Getting in plenty of BDing I hope!

Amy, sorry to hear you're so exhausted from all the hard work. I hope things ease up for you very soon and you can take a well deserved break!

Kristy, thanks for the congrats about the BFN! Yeah, it does feel weird celebrating a BFN instead of a BFP! LOL Oh well, one step at a time I guess. I hope you catch the egg this month too! You're in with a great chance if you're temping and using OPK's.

Sez, hello and welcome! You're definitely in the right place, hon. I'm not actively TTC yet either as my D&C was only 23 days ago, but it's nice to get to know all the other TTCAML girls in the meantime. That's great that you know your body is already ovulating! It sounds as though you'll go back to normal very quickly. I'm sure the next few cycles will just fly by and you'll be TTC again before you know it!

Not much to report here. I'm really exhausted today though, have been all week in fact. I think the 23 days of bleeding has finally caught up with me. Going to buy some iron tablets at lunchtime...that is, if I don't fall asleep between now and then zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Awww Nola, you are so sweet :hug: I'm doing OK, thanks for asking. I don't know where I would be without BB. It has truly been the most healing thing, being able to come on here and talk/vent/share during the last few weeks.

I always come and check on the Jan belly buddies. I can't believe you're almost 18 weeks along now! :eek: That's just crazy, where has the time gone??!! I'm so happy to hear that little Treacle is going along beautifully. Are you going to find out if it's a boy or a girl? I'm hanging out to see some pics of your gorgeous baby bump, btw ;)

Belle - the iron tablets are a good idea. With so much bleeding your body can lose a lot of its natural iron stores. Apparently you can get an iron tonic from healthfood shops as well.

Sarah - thanks, the signs are still going the right way so will just have to wait and see

Just a quick update. Still no AF. Saw tcm and have been told to wait and do a blood test at 7 days past AF due date so that will be Monday. He said I looked different and my pulses were different too but because its very early on the I'm BFP is identical to the I'm about to get AF, but he certainly thinks we're going in the right direction towards a BFP so I am eagerly awaiting for Monday to come around.

Hubby is very excited and phones to make sure AF hasn't come!! Very sweet!!

Awww thanks Jayne (and all you other loverlies) I hope so too. I so don't want to think about any symptoms. I have very sensitive nipples but I seem to get them on the clomid so I don't think that is any different. Can only hope .... but I'd love to join you!!! Someone to stress with :rolleyes:

Lisa - I am just working and trying to ignore the next 10 days. I can't do anything more than I already have so it is just waiting, waiting, waiting. Parents are down this weekend so that should be a distraction. How about you?? Have you ovulated yet?? I am sure you can get in a little more BDing (if DH can keep up!!)

Hi Michelle - having your parents around will be a great distraction, tww will be over before you know it and you will be staring at a bfp in no time. You have done the bd and not much else you can do but sit tight and wait for the eggy to hatch! I have everything crossed for you sweety.

Me - I was having major O pains (on both sides) yesterday, so looks like im getting ready, and ive noticed more cm so looks like O time is about to hit. Still keeping up the bd'ing and will continue to do so for another week. Like you said, not much else we can do!

A big cheerio to everyone, will try and pop in later for some personals.

LIsa - surely you will catch that eggie this month with the amount of BDing you're doing, but be careful coz my gyne told me only every 2nd day coz you need to give the sperm a chance to build up and get strong, and coz they last a few days in there, every 2nd day is the best.....but i have a feeling it won't matter coz you're going to get a BFP anyway...good luck..

Thanks Shan, we have been bd two nights in a row, then one night off, then again, so hopefully that gives the little spermies a chance to build muscles and swim, swim, swim!!

Michelle, I hope to hear you announcing a BFP in the next few weeks! Sensitive nipples are a good sign I think. When I fell pg, I didn't get sore bb's but boy, did they grow! I think they started growing about a week after we conceived! LOL When are you going to test, honey? Glad your parents are around this weekend...any distraction is a good one during the TWW!

Lisa, YAY for O pains!!! You've just gotta catch the egg this month with all that BDing! And yup, it won't hurt to keep it up even after you think you've O'ed. It's fun to practice anyway! LOL

Well, I have a bit of woo hoo and also a bit of a boo hoo. Woo hoo - I finally stopped bleeding! :dance: I was delighted to wake up this morning to nothing but creamy CM. So now bring on AF so we can get this show on the road, I say! LOL

As for the boo hoo - a client just came into the office to bring me a cheque and some signed forms. He said, "Oh, I heard you're pregnant. But you're very obviously NOT pregnant now *laughs* When did you have the bub?" You can imagine the shattered look on his face when I told him I'd lost the baby :( I had to make small talk so I wouldn't burst into tears. I know he didn't say it on purpose and I could tell he felt really awful. Just before he left he said that he was very sorry he'd said that and if it was any consolation, his sister had two losses but also has four healthy kids.

OH Belle...i know exactly how hard that must have been for you. When i was pg, my gp thought i was 10wks. At that stage we were living in Melb, and when i rang my mum to tell her, she told me to come home for a week to spend some time with her...which i did. She was so excited about becoming a Nanna, that she told everyone (she didn't mean to, but she couldn't help herself). Whilst i was there i started spotting and went to see my old gp and he sent me for an ultrasound to check things out. During the ultrasound they told me that i was only 5.6 wks pg and that everything seemed okay.

After me week with mum, DH came and picked me up and we went home. I was still bleeding, and after only a few days at home i ended up in Dandenong ER in the middle of the night and I m/c. DH rang my mum in the morning to tell her, and we decided to go back up there for a few days to try and get our heads around everything. BIG MISTAKE. I walked up the street one day, and being my home town, everyone knew me and i was getting congratulations left right and centre. It was so hard telling people that i had actually lost the baby.

We are living back here now, and even sometimes now, i get people say to me, oh...how are your kids? and i'm like...i don't have any, and they say 'oh but we heard you were pg'..and i have to tell them again....

Sometimes i just want to go somewhere where no one knows me, but i know that that isn't an option either....so chin up honey....you're a very strong woman, and you can get through this and very soon you'll have your own little bubba in your arms and that is all that counts.

Belle - you poor love. It is horrible when people ask and you have to tell them. I was asked by a very lovely woman at work after I went back after *maternity leave* (the first few weeks too) about the baby and had to tell her (in the middle of a resuscitation) that we had a stillbirth. Poor darling gave me a big hug but she felt so awful. She had been away at another faciility when it all went down. As for my boobs - my goodness I hope they don't get bigger!!! They didn't get that much bigger last time (except when the milk came in) but they are rather large (to say the least) already!!!

Belle - hugs for you too. I also come from a small town and when Caitlyn was born Mum put an announcement of her birth (and death) in the local paper. It made the telling everyone easier on them and on me when I came home next. Plus the paper gets sent to ex locals far and wide so it was an easy way to distribute the information.

Lisa - woo hoo!!!! Bring on the O!! Keep that husband working. There is some other literature that says every day is fine if your (his) sperm count is normal but every 2nd day will also ensure there are *supplies* waiting for the eggie when it pops on out to say hello!!

Me - had a blood test today to make sure I am ovulating and that my progesterone levels are ok. I hate blood tests but the blood collector is a funny girl. Because she knows I am a nurse she gets all stressed so it makes me relax knowing she is more nervous that I am and I have to calm and reassure her :rolleyes:

I feel better after having a bit of a sob. Normally I'm OK with telling people what happened, but this guy just caught me off-guard and it really hit a nerve. It's just one of those days today. My spotting started up again so that was yet another thing to be upset about! Anyway, as much as I want to find a huge rock to crawl under right now, I know I have to pick my chin up and soldier on.

Shan, that is absolutely awful, honey. I was so upset to hear what you had to go through. And thank you for the kind words...Lisa is right, they are so touching. You truly are a gem, honey. I too hope that your 'not actively TTC' approach will grant you a perfect little surprise!

Michelle, I was so upset to hear about what you went through too :( It was lovely of your mum to put an announcement in the paper for your little girl. What a touching thought. Lisa, thanks honey. I think that everyone here has been through the same thing. It's so awful having to tell people the news. I feel like I've had to relive it over and over. I agree with Michelle, I don't think you'll have a problem from DTD every night...it's fine if your DH has strong swimmers. DH always jokes that his are rocket-powered because the night we conceived I was on top! :eek: ROFL

Belle, How are you feeling? I hope that the iron tablets etc are making a difference. I am really sorry about what happened with your client too. Yes we do all have to go through those awful experience but that doesnt make it any easier on you when it happens. I live in a reasonably small town (lots of people but always the core local people you know) and i can remember one lady who i had told i was prego in the doctors waiting area before i saw my GP and found out we had to go for an ultrasound because he couldnt find her heartbeat...the next time i saw her downtown only a few weeks after i had Katelyn she just stared at my belly and walked on past (i was showing quite a bit with Katelyn)...sorry i wasnt meaning to make this about me i guess i was just trying to share my experiences to help you. People always ask me how many kids that i have and i always have to say Lucy is my second i lost my first. It just feels like a betrayal to Katelyn if i only said i have Lucy IYKWIM. I really feel for you having to tell people. I hope that your spotting has gone for good and that you get that BFP pronto!

Belle I experienced something a little similar yesterday with a customer that I don't particularly like but used to serve a lot when I was pg with James. Anyway I served her yesterday & she asked how old my little man was & I told her 4 in a couple of weeks. She replied that it must be time we thought about giving him a little brother or sister, anyway I said straight back to her "well we've tried twice & lost both babies" her face just dropped (& I'm sorry to say that I was quite happy it did) & she didn't know what to say.

Your turn will come & it is so hard to face those who knew that you were pg but aren't anymore. I mean after all it isn't like we make the news as public as we do when we announce the pg, but you will get through it & I'm sure very soon you'll be proudly showing a gorgeous belly bump to the world.

Shell - Just sending you a special message for today as you reflect on the EDD of your angel. I'm sure that he/she is flying high in the clouds and watching down over you, Cameron & Hayleigh. Thinking of you cherub!
