sorry i have not been around , i have been so down since last friday when my app was cancelled, i have a app for tomorrow so hope for some action.
Hey ladies the pass couple weeks have been stressful for me (seems like a bad year for me) so I have not been online I still have not gotten AF and my nips are still sore they been that way for week 1/2 now ... I M/C on May 19th so it may be to soon but my reg cycle is 21 days ... I'm give it until the end of June and then go get checked out or should I wait longer???
Issy~ Congrats hope everything work out well for you...
Jen - No worries, happy to fill you in :) A trigger is a shot of HCG. HCG is similar to LH in structure, so basically it is being used to make my body think that my LH is surging so that I will ovulate from that mature follie. Its just a bit of added insurance that ovulation happens ;) because the clinic thinks that maybe I am not quite getting there in terms of LH surge every month. IUI is intrauterine insemination :)

Thankyou for all your thoughts, prayers and congratulations. AF has not shown up yet and I have not done another test yet either. I think Ill wait for a few days before doing another one (providing AF stays away) I dont want to get comfortable with the idea that im pg, just incase it doesnt stay that way.
I am trying to stay detached from it at the moment, for fear of being dissapointed again. I keep telling myself, what will be will be, there is nothing I can do. Sorry if this seems like a very negative attitude, im just protecting my heart. I hope I can celebrate with you all very soon. Thankyou all so much for your support, you are all truly amazing and I couldnt do this without you :grouphug:.

Hi everyone,
Very down today, had a BFN. I tested cos I think I am actually 10dpo, might still be too early but I know I conceived this cycle and if implantation was on Sunday, something should be showing up by now. I have made an appointment to go to a dr to get some bloods done. I still suspect that I'm having trouble with implantation cos of my positive ANA (means autoimmune something but they've never found what). I have been crying all morning (ridiculous) so I suspect my other hormones are all ok. I have been putting off getting the blood tests done cos if it is something autoimmune then the only real treatment is steriods and I cant take them bc of my kidney problems. So that would mean the end of TTC for me, wasn't really ready to accept that yet. Guess we'll see how it goes.
KrystieLove and Jen - I am studying law. I started it 10 yrs ago and never finished it cos I was working full time and it was just too much. So I quit work and am now finishing it off PT and having time with DS. Really enjoying it, except exams of course!
KrystieLove - It does sound a bit confusing hey. Perhaps is it just from your mc and it is just taking longer than usual to go down. Should you maybe get another test now and see if it has gone completely? This must be so tough on you:hug:
Jen - Definately sounds like the pains I get the day after O! I quite often use a hot water bottle for relief. Yey, your in the TWW!!

Hi Ladies
Just a quick 'me' post to let you know that all went really well with my scan today. Nice little hb at 154 bpm and ob really happy with what he saw. I finally feel like I can relax - I know there's still a long way to go yet but I've had a good feeling from the very start. m/s is coming each afternoon and intensifies into the evening. I go to bed most nights feeling like I haven't eaten all day. It's weird but I love it?!?! Only 4 more weeks until we can share our secret with everyone else!

Toccara--Sorry to hear AF hasn't shown her ugly face. It figures that when you want her to show up, she takes her sweet time! Did you ever confirm that the hcg level had gone back down to 0? This is your first cycle since the m/c, right? Could just be that your body is holding on to some of that hcg, causing it to still feel pg--and that your cycle is just trying to get back to normal. My first cycle after was only 25 days, and have been progressively getting a little longer each cycle. One more question, have you had your follow up appt. with your doc yet? Praying you get some answers! :hug:

Yey AJC, that has cheered me up immensely. Must be soooo cool seeing the little beating heart. Bet you cant wait to tell everyone now! Really happy for you that it's all going swimmingly. You kick youre feet up a bit now and enjoy it.
Jen - Yeah, the dr informed me that she thought it was too early even if with implantation on Sunday, so I'm still in with a shot. I definately felt implantation so that's why I'm so panicked that I have lost it again. She thinks I might be (bc of what I felt with implantation) so she tested for hcg as well so I will get the results on Saturday.
Jodsan - I posted a msg to you a little while ago, but for some reason it didnt go through :dunno:.
Im sorry you were feeling so down before :hug:, It may be just to early to tell yet. Dont forget that plc tested early and got a bfn then very soon after it became a bfp and now she is 9 wks pg - there is still a chance hun. Ill be :pray: for you.

so glad to here of good new about your BFP and your scans.
Jen - I'm still watching your chart. Still not sure what's going on though. Hopefully your temps start to go up soon! I guess the major downfall with temping is that it only tells you you have ovulated after it's already happened. But you get used to what other signs your body gives you around the time you ovulate so you know for future reference. Hopefully you won't need "future" reference though and that this is your month!
I'm going to hold onto my form for the second BT unti the end of my next cycle so that I can have see if I get pregnant this cycle. I figure that with my AF having been so heavy this cycle I know that I'm definitely not pregnant, and this will save me from having to go to the dr to get the form next time :)
Oh, and the pain you described is pretty much how I would describe my ovulation pain, so fingers crossed for you!!!
bettyboop - Good luck with you apt tomorrow and I really hope you get some answers!
Tocarra - My hcg levels only got low enough for me to ovulate about 4-5 weeks after my d&c and I've heard it can take longer than that too. In fact, there's a chance my hcg level was still at 17 last friday which was 6 weeks after my d&c.
Just remember also that it is possible to fall pregnant again after a miscarriage before you even get your AF again, so if you're worried you can ask your ob or gp for two BT test a few days apart to see if your hcg level is falling or rising. I personally found it comforting just to find out what my level was so that I could estimate how long before it would drop (on average it halves every 48 hours or so). In any case, good luck :)
Megsmum - Tomorrow is "C day" for you! "Conception day" hehehe. I hope it all goes really well for you!
Acria - Maybe keeping things low key will help you out this month. You don't have to feel excited and pumped about ttc every month. It's not like you going to be any less excited when you find out you are pregnant. Maybe your future baby had performance anxiety ;)
Issy - I can't wait until you are confident enough to make a ticker... Good luck!
Jodsan - Wow law! I did a Bachelor of Science and got first class honours in Biology. I really loved Uni and sometimes miss it. Well I loved the atmosphere at Uni, the social stuff and the learning, but not so much the assignments and exams lol!
And I say keep testing!! I'm sure it must be too early to be sure. Fingers crossed the next test looks better.
AJC - So stoked for you!!! Look at your gorgeous little ticker! Jan 26th is just long enough after christmas for the bubba not to get upset about getting joint xmas/birthday gifts ;)

KrystieLove - Well done on first class honours in Biology, that is a massive achievement!! What career path have you ended up following with that? We're all going to be asking you heaps of Q's about our bizarre bodies now we know you're an expert. What did you write your honours thesis on? Unfortunately I dont get to have any of the social side of uni. I just go there my two days per week and sit in the lectures myself, then I have to get home to get DS so I dont get the opportunity to do much else. All the others are like 20 anyway and must think I'm really old. I ask them questions sometimes but cant say I have really made any friends yet. Maybe next semester, I'll make it my goal to make at least one friend at uni!

AFM, CD30, no AF, but not feeling any "good" symptoms eaither. My temp is now back down to pre O, so not looking good, but...i continue to say...its nto over till i see AF.
Have been so emotional lately, got to work yesterday, and the girl who sits next to me (who i dont know very well, im still new there!) came in and said "how are you?" and i burst into fit of tears that lasted about half an hour! This is so incredibly hard....
Jodsan--Oooh, can't wait till Sat. to hear your results! :pray: it was just too early! Thanks for checking my chart, temp did go up, but FF still didn't give me a coverline! I was very irritable and emotional yesterday--kept crying at the dumbest things! I'm pretty bummed, though, because since it was such a stressful day, it was a BD-less day--and we didn't the day before that either because I thought for sure as long as we got it in every other day I still had a pretty good chance. All I know is I was definitely NOT in the mood!! So, I don't know, FF is also still showing fertile since no O has been detected. Just feeling a little discouraged right now since this mo. showed I might conceive a girl, and the EDD would be around my b-day. But cervix still appears to be high this am, and finally seems open, so maybe there's still a chance. Now that summer's here and there's 4 kids around all the time, there's not as much alone time--at least when the kids were in school we could sneak it in on DF's lunch break! Thanks again for asking about me, and I'll continue to pray that you just tested too early!

Hi all. Whilst I don't post much in here anymore I think of you all often and I keep up with what you have all been doing. Jen - thanks for keeping me in the list, it means a lot to me.
I wanted to say a big congrats to AJC, Jenushka and Issy (even though this is a quiet congrats as per your wishes) - I am sending you lots of sticky vibes and hope you all have an uneventful and easy 9 months that simply flies!!! :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy::
Issy - just so you know, I did 8 tests as all of mine bar 2 were faint. I didn't even test until 4 days past AF and the first one (late afternoon weak urine - stupid thing to do) was a BFN and then the next morning I got a very faint BFP - this continued for 2 days and even when I went to the GP to confirm it was still faint. Finally on the Saturday morning one whole week past AF I got a dark line - I used Discover Onestep and that definitely gave me my best positive. So don't worry about the test line too much - look after yourself and think happy positive thoughts (even though I know it is really hard).
Big hugs to the rest of you as it looks like this past week has been a rough one. I say let it out and cry or yell if you have to. No one knows the heartache of losing a baby and the stress and anxiety involved waiting for the next baby to come along. TTC after loss is a difficult journey so please be kind to yourselves. I look forward to some more BFPs. :pink-babydust: :bluedust:
AFM, I have my 19 week morph scan this coming Tuesday and I am quite anxious. I have been having weekly scans with my ob so as of Wed the baby still had a heartbeat and was looking good, but I still worry. So fingers crossed all goes well. I am looking forward to making it past 20 weeks.
OH Katiegirl - So glad it is all going well. GL for your scan. Are you going to find out the sex? How have you been feeling with this pg?
Issy - That's really good news. I agree with katiegirl, it just might not get darker at all. You might just have to have the BT's to know for sure. Thinking of you hun :hug:
Jen - My cervix opens 3-4 days b4 O, so you still may not have O'd. Try to BD today, if its still open then your still fertile!

Tina - Really hope AF stays away for you too. Being emotional and teary can be a sign of either so you are not without any hope. When is AF due?
Me - Well its another BFN. DH and I both agree that there is a hint of something but it cant be counted as anywhere near a line. Guess I'm kind of accepting of it now, I know I conceived and I know for sure that what I felt was implantation but I really think it hasn't taken again. At least I went and got the BT's - I'm sure they will show really low hcg levels so at least I'll have some evidence that I am conceiving but not implanting. Might make it easier for the drs to try to work out why. Arrgh. Now I feel like I'm getting a urinary tract infection so that may explain why I feel so off and have been crying(I used to get really teary when I had heaps of UTIs when my kidney was bad). So looks like when I see the dr tomorrow I'll end up with antibiotics instead of a BFP. :doh:

well i'm on CD36 today, at least 14DPO if not more and still a BFN
just want AF to arrive now, this has been such a long cycle. this is first cycle taking vit b6 because normally my lp has been 10-11 days- anyone heard of b6 making cycles extra extra long?
anyway once AF arrives i will be taking a break. will be thinking of you all and sending lots of :pink-babydust: and i will miss you all but just something i need to do.

hello ladies! i didnt go as long as i thought i would! good news! i have ovulated late!!! i had a look at all the charts of pregnancies with late ovulation & all of them have o day as cd21. its very weird. why is late o day always cd21... but anyhow it's a positive for any other ladies who thought they have missed the eggie! just keep bding!

I just got AF a few minutes ago!!! I cant believe I'm happy about that lol ...I had follow ups and scan done and they took blood to make sure my levels where dropping I was just a little worried I'm going to start charting now to keep track of what my body is doing ...
And I wanna send prayers and love to all you ladies, this forums is the best! and congrats to all who got BFP I hope to be joining you soon...

WTH - thanks! we did a few things differently this cycle - dh took zinc and vit c, we used pre seed (3 pack), and bd'd every day from cd 14 - cd 19, incl the day of and the day after my +opk. Running out of stamina a bit in the end tho! Could have been all or none of those things I spose... Gl for catching your eggie!
issy - I've quietly congratulated you in the 2ww thread... :hug: Good news about the 2nd bfp, I hope you're keeping ok. Have you decided if you'll get a bt?

AFM - Firstly, am so so so so so so so glad I decided to change my flights to Sydney until after my fertile window. Glad I was so dedicated!
I had my gp appt today and she is just so great. I'd brought in my 7th and most recent hpt (yes, thats right, I did 7) to show her! She is great because firstly she asked me about the kind of early preg care I wanted - I could have as much or as little as I needed. Decided I'd like some referrals for follow up hcg bt in case I felt I needed (she gave me 3), I also told her I'd like an early pg scan referral too - done. She marked today's bt as urgent because I am a headcase - my beta hcg results came back this evening... at about 14dpo they're 212 which I am happy with. This doctor is also great because when I saw her 2 weeks after my m/c, she told me about hers (between bub 2 and 3) . She also told me that she felt there was an angel somewhere holding her baby, and somewhere was an angel holding mine (I know! I'm almost teary typing that)...
Anyway, am scared stiff and a bit surprised still... probably will be for a while anyway

pbstar--Sorry about the long cycle, not really sure about your B6 question. I, too, started taking B6, but I O'ed earlier than usual this cycle. I also had every symptom of O in the book, where as last month I had no signs of O at all! I don't know if that has anything to do with the B6 or not. I pray that you decide to stick around, but if a break is what you need, then I support it. Please look in on us now and again, and keep us informed with what's going on with you! Vanaithi--Congrats on the late O! See why you should never give up hope!! Fingers crossed you caught that egg! I wondered how long you would last away from BB--I'm grateful it wasn't a long break! Have fun in Tassi, and look forward to catching up with you on Sunday!
Toccara--It seems out of place saying this, but congrats on AF! lol... Hope the scan and BT's went well, looks like you finally get to move forward! Good luck with the charting, I enjoy it--and while at times it still causes me some confusion, it's definitely more helpful than not! Hope this cycle brings you closer to that BFP!
jenushka--So glad your appt went well, and that you have such a hands-on doctor that's so understanding of what you're going through. I think it's definitely beneficial that she has some experience with the heartbreak of m/c (not that I'm glad she m/c, but that it helps her to relate to what you're going through with your anxieties, YNWIM?) Wow, 7 hpt's? lol...I don't blame you, I'm sure I'll be the same way! Thanks for asking about my charting--seems to be going ok, but I still didn't get my coverline after this am's temp! I'm anxious to see those red lines--why does it seem like we're always looking for red lines? Congrats again on your BFP--I'm so very happy for you!!!
AFM... Felt really down and emotional all day yesterday, and was complaining to DF about not BD'ing for 2 days in a row during my fertile period, and how I thought we must have missed our chance. He tells me no, no, we BD on Monday, plus we used preseed, so it was perfect. So then it got me thinking about this site I went to the other day. So I went back to the site, and entered my last LMP, and length of cycle, then it gives you the option of clicking on boy or girl. So, of course, I click on girl, and you won't believe this.... It showed that we should BD on Mon,, but for Tue.-Fri. it says NO BD'ing if there's fertile CM--which obviously I've had an abundant supply of this month! Soooo, it looks like DF was right and we BD'ed on just the right day as far as trying to conceive a girl! :woot: I know it limits my chances of conceiving, but gives me a better chance of conceiving a girl, so I'm good with that! Also, we BD'ed on the Fri. and Sat. before that, so potentially there should have been lots of little female spermies kickin' around in there waiting for that egg! Oh, for once I actually hope he's right! lol... How sweet was it, though, that he knew where I was in my cycle, and what I needed to hear to make me feel better! And all those times I thought he wasn't paying attention! It also appears that my cervix has dropped--don't know if it's medium or low, because I've only ever felt it when it was high and soft, but it's definitely lower than it was, so good sign that I probably did O already. I just want to see that coverline so I know for sure!! Grrr!

One question: Now it seems like my cervix is high and soft again. I know that CP changes throughout the day, but is it possible to be med/low at night, then be high again the next day? I'm so confused! :confused:
WTH--Don't know if you're still wondering about the follicles in ovaries, but just read that a single follicle matures on only 1 side of the ovaries. Just thought I'd let you know, since I know you were asking about it in a previous post. Hope that helps, take care!
