Kirsty - What stamina! You're inspiring! We have been going for 6 days now. Last night was supposed to be R&R night but not with a OPK like I got! LOL. What is happening with you lately? Are you feeling ready to TTC again?

Me - Well, I'm feeling pretty damn pleased with myself atm! I have just done another OPK and it's nowhere near as dark as yesterday so I'm thinking I have given it my best attempt. My temps have gone up so that means O has happened and I had a niggly side last night so I'm sure that was it. If I didn't fall pg this month, I think I might wait until after my SIL wedding in Oct so I can concentrate on my weight loss to get into that HOT dress. It's a waiting game now, I must be on day 1 of the TWW! Yay! I'm off to watch Grey's Anatomy that I taped Monday night.

hey, i posted earlier - not sure where it went... but tested to get a BFN... ok with it actually, just waiting on AF now... not long...

Jayne if you can try and get some more action in tonight you might be in with an extra chance of catching that egg. I say keep trying until that line has gone right away :)

Jayne I am ok thanx for asking, I am so ready to start the TTC journey again but we are still waiting to see the OB for our test results. Our appt is Monday afternoon so not long to go now, plus after that we have to go to the Fetal Medical Unit at the Royal Womens to get a "game plan" for a next pg before we are allowed to actually join the journey for real. So we've been having lots of practice runs instead just so DH's boys don't forget what they have to do when the time comes for them to do their job!

DTD every second nite sure took it out of us (well DH anyway) but it worked so it is probably the same strategy we'll use when we get the ok to TTC ~ haven't told DH this yet though.

Kirsty I am so happy that things are moving on for you. I cant wait to hear your results on Monday. BOL, you know that you are always in my thoughts and Prayers even if we dont chat as much as we use to. I cant wait to hear that you are ttc again and that the journey will be very short before you announce a long and happy BFP with a very happy and healthy bub at the end of it all. Bel: I am so sorry hon, that you got another BFN...As one of the other girls said to you think you are testing to early. When is AF due and when did you O? Will be watching over the next couple of days to see if it all changes for you and will be praying it does.

Jayne: OH hun, it cant be that bad bding every second night. I am much older than you and kept up every night from cd8 until we found out we were pg. Mind you the libido has dwindled a little but slowly coming back...yippee. I agree with Michelle, Keep bding until the opk line has completely gone or faded quite a bit. I am praying that you will be one of the next success stories over in the ark. BOL sweet. BTW how is Jessica going?

To everyone else I have ordered 2 MACK tipper trucks and 3 cement mixers......the trucks are to POUR!!! out BABY DUST and the Cement Mixers are to concrete the little buggers into you all. So there is plenty for everyone and remember dont rush.

Tanya, This is an order, You are NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT allowed to test until 1 day before AF is due. However if you cave in that is fine, I use to do the same. I guess it really doesnt make any difference except for the financial side of it.....Getting the BFN is more of an obsession to go and buy more just in case the BFN was wrong.....Does this sound all to familiar.

OK SO NO TESTING....NO.....NO.....NO.....Put it back.....No...go to the other toilet where you are not tempted.....I guess that is if you have two toilets in your house....No...no....no....Put it away.....you dont need it....you dont...no...no.

Ok hopefully you have the message not to test just yet.

Tanya - dont do it love - dont test now. Wait until the day AF is due and then test - I did that (for the first time ever) this month. You know yourself that testing too early can give you a false result. You should wait so you get a bfp straight up - no faint lines, just a huge strong second line!! Good luck.

Shell? Still itching your bbs? LOL! Im really hoping you can lead us all out of here!! have you tested yet? :crossfingers:

We were told not to start trying until the next cycle, but today have been getting sharp cramps on and off since this morning. Should be ovulating today, but not sure due to last month. How soon did everyone start trying?

I was told not to ttc until after my first normal cycle too. I do know of some women who have fallen pg on the first cycle after a loss, so if you think you are o'ing, and feel that you are ready in mind and body to ttc again, then go for it. Only you really know how you feel.

I hope your new ttc journey is short and sweet :)

I feel I am ready, but was told to wait 6 weeks for the hormones to sort themselves out. The m/c was at only 2 weeks, so it was almost as if it was AF, but different.
The reason why I ask is that we got the action on Tuesday night (very late) and I am o'ing since this morning. I have been getting the usual pains but a bit stronger. I didn't think it was that close....will wait and see what pans out.

We will be ok if nothing happens this month, but it could be close.

Will just have to wait 2 weeks now!!

Jayne, maybe if you have the energy tonight you should put the porn star suit on (or off), as the tests say that you should O 24-36 hours after the line, so maybe for good measure, can't hurt!!

Lisa, Glad to hear AF has almost left town, rest up now hun, as that long month of bd'g is just around the corner!! I use ovunow opk's which i bought off an ebay store, the cost me $42 for 100, or you can buy 20 for $10, i found them to be quite reliable and when you are testing a few times a day it can get really expensive if you are using the supermarket ones, from memory i think fortel sell 5 for $20. anyway do your resarch over the net before buying from the supermarket i think.

Tanya, Im exactly the same as you and always test before af is due, its a disgusting habbit!!! i am also restraining myself from popping off to woolies to grab one!! hopefully this time next week will be shipping out of here!!

Me, Well not much to report, my nips are not as itchy, but they are quite sensitive, i have been combatting my poas obsession by using opk's instead, as i have been told before that they can show up a + a bit earlier then hpt's, so each morning for the past three days i have been testing with opk's and it seems each day i have a faint line but each day its a tad bit darker when i have them lined up, so anyway that helps me to not go out and by any hpt's and i don't get overly excited or overly down by the results as i know they are not hpt's!!! now i am rambling on!

About implantation bleed - i read somewhere on here that its a rare occurance. And is generally only a red tinge when wiping?

We are running dangerously low on BFP announcements just lately. I can only hope that our bodies are all lining up very subtly so that we announce them all in a short space of each other!

Naomi - This AF like discharge is sounding strange. Maybe your body is still working back to normal after the m/c? I'm really not sure. Hope she either comes or goes very soon so you can get back to basics.

Shell - Do you do OPK's a few times a day? Hmmm, I never thought of doing that. LOL. I had a gf told me that she kept doing OPK's while pg and they got darker and darker. The thing is, she didn't realise she was pg and thought she was O'ing because the OPK's were so dark so you never know!

Moglie - Welcome to our cluster of lovely ladies! :) I'm very sorry for your loss but please take comfort in all of us ladies who are holding you hand with you on your journey. I too was told to wait a complete cycle before TTC again but I have heard of loads of ladies falling pg directly after a m/c.

ME - Nothing to report. Will bd tonight just for good measure. Am really peeved cos Jess had me up all night and I didn't get a temp reading this morning because of it. I'm assuming I'm 3DPO atm. My cycle is usually 40 days so I'll wait until AT LEAST then (if I can), do POAS. I don't even have any. I aim not to buy any until if/when I'm late.

Naomi - Implantation bleed usually occurs about 5-10 days post ovulation and is when the little embyro buries itself into the lining of your uterus. Some women will actually bleed a little during this time - it can be fresh, red blood, pink or brown discharge as this is just old blood from a few days earlier.I don't think it is a rare occurence at all. So you are definitely still in the running

Welcome Moglie, I am sorry to hear of your recent loss :( But I think if you feel ready to ttc again, go for it!! I asked the Dr why some Dr's recomend to wait a cycle, and the reply was to help with dating the pregnancy. So if you are Oing, then I would say your hormones have sorted themselves out already. Do what you feel right with :)

Naomi, I hope that spotting stops!!

Thanks Ladies for your warm welcomes, I feel very welcome and supported in this thread. Even though the m/c was only at 2 weeks it still has been painful.

As for Dr's saying to wait so you can better date the pregnancy, they push the start date back to the date of your last period (which you couldn't have been pregnant at anyway because you're bleeding!) So long as you know when you ovulate, then they should be able to take it from that. Anyway pregnancy isn't an exact science, everyone is different.

Will wait until the end of this cycle to see if our babymaking (and me getting the wrong dates) aligned.

Tanya, I am so very proud of you. Well done. As you said only 4 days to go. Think of it as this.....You are booked in for a scan and you can not have it done until the time comes. It is totally out of your control. I am in that situation at the moment so wanting my 12 week scan but knowing I just can not have it done until 530pm on Wednesday afternoon. AGAIN Well Done!!! you are doing well and It will pay off.

some great news, nola your truck full of dust really worked on me cause i got a BFP this morning on the digital test..... i am so nervous... but excited. have booked into doc and going to see what they can do for me. The naturopath has made a up a batch of bach flower essence to stop me being really worried and anxious... i need to take the whole bottle now i think...
I cant tell you guys how important you all are to me, just there to tell you about what is happening makes such a difference... thanks heaps
