Sorry for a short post, I have one sick little girl. Woke up at 2am to hear 'cough cough blergh' in the monitor from jessica's room. She has been vomiting and the runs and is so stuffed up in her nose, head & chest. My house is like a sauna and I have the vaporiser going. we have a party to go to tonight for Alan's uncle's 40th. Looks like Jessica saved me a night with the in-laws! LOL.

Needless to say, I didn't get a chance to do my temp this morning. I'm actually not feeling that confident now. Not sure why. So glad to hear of a BFP though! Take care and I'll check back over the weekend.

thanks for your kind wishes... i havent officially put my notice in the PAML as i am too scared too, just incase something happens... will do soon though... went to docs, had bt for hcg levels.... doesnt want me worrying about levels so is not going to do anymore bt unless there are issues.. also suggested not to have us until 12 weeks... will call ob and see what he says... have the referal now anyway so can go from there i suppose. Hope you are all well and having a great friday...

Sorry girls really not in any kind of a mood to do personals today, had a temp dip so looks like AF is on her way if it still low tomorrow, which means my luteal phase is still only 11 days if she shows tomorrow plus as of today i have started having EWCM again, so i don't know what thats all about, i feel my body is failing my chances of ever being a mum again.

Just a Q though, for anyone who has taken the next step to get some help, do you need to see a OB or fertility dr, to get help or advice on what to do next, for example if i need say clomid, can my gp prescribe that to me or would i have to see a specialist? Sorry this is all new to me and don't know where to start!

Moglie, I am so sorry for your loss. When I had my 2 m/cs my B told me to wait 2 AFs before starting to TTC again. He said it was so my body can go back to normal and see what my cycles are doing. Good luck when you do decide to TTC.

Bel - congrats on the BFP - great news to get things moving in this thread. feel free to join us over in PAML anytime you are ready

Shell - I am so hoping your temp dip is just a small glitch and there will be NO AF for you. Please don't feel your body cannot become pg again because I am sure that there is every chance you can and will. If you do end up feeling you need some help - my advice would be to go for it - certainly made me feel like things were being "looked after" by professionals and the best of all -it worked! You will need to see your GP for a referral to fertility specialist if there is a need to use something like Clomid - is a restricted drug and cannot be prescribed by most Dr's. However, you should chat with your GP first and prob get some hormone levels done just to see whether you are ovulating properly, progesterone levels etc.
I truly hope you don't need to head down this path and we see a BFP from you very soon!

Shell - re the Q about clomid. It is on a restricted access prescritpion so it needs to be prescribed by an authorised doctor (usually an OB / GYN). Just get a referral from your GP if you know where you want to go (ie if you have a doctor you are happy with). If you are not sure of where to go next you can email me and I may be able to help with options depending on where in Sydney you are.

I was put on clomid for *super ovulation* rather than stimulation of ovulation. I ovulate but the theory was there is no reason why we can't conceive so lets increase the number of potential chances per cycle (and if the hormone levels aren't sufficient to create a *good egg* then the clomid will increase those hormones too). LLet me know if you want to know more.

A little fragile this week (reason for no personals) heading up to ovulation mid next week and some serious hormonal shifts. I have been off and catching up with people (both friends who were due around the same time of Caitlyn's EDD, my friend - a midwife, who was there when we found no HB is leaving so I had coffee with her) as well as the realisation that this is the third clomid cycle and we are on the rapid downhill slide to IVF. All together, just a challenging week with a very dark tunnel in front of me (either there is no light or my eyes are closed!!)

I must go, Jessica is very sick, I'm thinking she has tonsilitis, she's very hoarse and when she cries you can tell her throat is killing her cos her cries are all raspy. She has disgusting yellow/green snot and has had a vomiting/runs bug as well. I'll be taking her to the doc on Monday if she's not got better. Poor little vegemite. My temp is UP UP UP but I missed the temps to identify proper O'ing, so my chart is still showing no O. NOt to worry, what happens happens.

Just a quicken to say that i did have a rise this morning, but i now have a rotten cold, so im not sure if i had a slight temperature or not, Hayleigh & Cameron both have it aswell, so we are all sick, sick , sick.

But Tanya you are a stronger woman than me, i succumbed to temptation and poas and of course for me it was a BFN, but AF is not due until Tuesday, so it was really silly of me to do one, im not really confident anymore anyway, usually my boobs are my first tell tale sign and they are not sore at all and my nipples are no longer sensitive. oh well thats the way the cookie crumbles, not point in winging about it anymore :boohoo: Im really hoping that your patience will pay off with a nice BFP Tanya!

Thanks to all of you for helping me through my tww... it is tough. I have no tests in the house!! :) I only had OPK's but I will obsessively pee on those in place of a HPT...I got rid of them... I sealed them into an envelope and locked them in the glovebox of the car...lol. And in this weather I am in no hurry to retrieve them!! :)

Sorry I havent got back to you 've been pretty down the last couple of days, infact I lost it you could say. Well the 7th IVF cycle has been a bust for us:crying: , af started to show on Tues 2 days before beta and then bang on beta day af hit with full force. I had no signs she was on her way and normally doing so many cycles I have a feeling but this one snuck up on me.
We are now saving for a fresh cycle which means the needles again, so hopefully we should be cycling again in a couple of months.

Thankyou so much for all your support :grouphug: through this time its very much appriciated. So for the next 4 weeks I just have to get through the due date of our little girl.

Hi Everyone,

Well i woke to a slight temp drop not major, decided to POAS with FMU and got a faint BFP, tried really hard not to get my hopes up, but decided to go and buy a different brand but was a BFN, still thinking to myself that maybe its too early and the FMU made the difference this morning, but about 10 mins ago i started just spotting a bit of light brown so needless to say AF is on way :crying:

So sorry for no personals, will come back later and do them when im over the initial upset of the witches imminent arrival! :angry:

I got a faint BFP yesterday when i tested and then got nothing this morning aswell, we are on the same boat here. Im retesting tomorrow, that will determine it one way or another.

Thanks Naomi for that advice, hopefully it is "implantation bleeding" i will have my fingers crossed that both of us have BFP's tomorrow, thats is if AF hasn't arrived in full force by then for me, has your spotting stopped completely? AF is due tomorrow for me so i can't really rule her out either but it has given me something to think about! goodluck tomorrow.

AF hasnt arrived yet, but she should be here anytime soon. Had AF cramps this morning on and off, although that has mostly gone now. No spotting or anything yet. Really am not sure what to think. But my temp did drop a fair bit this morning, so am not holding my breath.

quick question............can you get AF and still be pg?

Yes you can get AF and still be pg that is what happened to me in November and also when i was pg with Kimberley i spotted until 13 weeks with her.

well after i did my last post went to toilet....sorry for tmi.........and i was bleeding but its kinda light. I had a look at the hpt i did yesterday and today (getting addicted) and they still show the faint line, but now ive kinda got the wierd feeling in my belly like af gives me. Im thinking it is af and i shouldnt waste a test tomorrow. I guess i will wait and see what the rest of the day gives me and then what tomorrow brings and i will decide then. :-(
