Oh Reet, DP is excited but doesn't want to get too excited as every time that I have told him something goes wrong but I'm hoping nothing this time as one thing that is different from the two pregnancies this year as this time I had no sort of spotting at all, so hoping that this is a good sign.
Now, I think I should pressure you to TEST hehehe so TEST girl TEST, creamy CM looks like a good sign xoxox
Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to start my journey with all you lovely ppls in here, I have a 4y.o DD and sadly DF and I had our 1st MC in early April we have now decided to TTC again this month. AF is due in the next couple of days and I'm praying she is a no show for us. I have recorded higher temps now for 1 week and have been getting a few minor headaches through the afternoons and getting a weird taste in my mouth. The last 2 days my CM has been a creamy colour and I'm usually dry at this time before AF, haven't had any pimple break outs at all with this cycle and I always do unless I'm UTD. All my body signs are pointing to being pregnant but I'm trying not to get my hopes up as I don't want to be let down if AF arrives. I'm hoping and got my FX that this time will be our time for a very sticky bub please. Any advice or words of wisdom will be appreciated.
Thanks
Helen
iona: congrats to you, wow so you fell straight away the next cycle, im jealous especially because i haven't even had a cycle since them m/c in may, im on day 66 since that bleeding happened.
forshelby: good to hear you are ok after your fall, if it makes you feel any better i fell in both my pregnancies for my living children, they are very well protected at this stage.
bons and alice: good to hear you will soon be both on your way again through ivf
Dory: lovely to see your ticker, i hope the remaining time flies by for you
Reet: i hope you have good news in the next few days
clairesmummy: hi and welcome
damprye: is your dp banned from using you as a test person from now on ?
hi to everyone else
afm: not much to report really, we are all sick (the universe is really kicking me while im down) and as i said no cycle happening here, im seeing the ivf dr next week so hopefully i can get a plan happening
Iona - Yeah, I think the flats threw me off a bit tbh! I so rarely wear them.... My fairy godmother was great though, made me laugh and said 'omg, have you got a crack in your bum?' LOL.... I said I did. It's totally understandable for your DP to be afraid to get too excited... I feel that exact way myself. But with every passing day, I'm growing slightly more confident. I'd also like to join you in egging Reet on......
Bons - Dr said if I have any pain or bleeding he will send me for an early scan (company dr not my own insentitive one..) but it's too early to see a hb so I would like to wait a little while. I've been thinking about it and it probably wouldn't be the end of the world to wait until I'm 12 weeks. I also can't help but notice no af for you yet..... EXCITING! When are you testing?
Reet - TEST WOMAN!!!! Lol, I'm so devilish. I'm going to bug you to no end.. hehehe. Creamy cm is a big one if you're normally dry this time of month. (TMI warning) I have LOADS now, and I find it very comforting in a strange way. Let us know if you caved and tested.
Clairesmummy - Welcome . Your symptoms sound good. When do you plan to test? I hope you get your sticky bub this time.
Minnie - Thanks. Doc said the same thing, that baby is very cushioned at this stage. I really didn't fall very hard either.... people just made a huge deal out of it, which i guess is better than ignoring it altogether. That would make me feel worse. Feeling heaps better after a big sleep though. Muuuuch calmer. Sorry to hear you're sick, that really sucks. I hope your IVF appointment goes well and you can get something happening! Maybe macca would help your cycle to return? (I have never used it, but heard it's good... talk to Reet.)
Clairesmummy – welcome to the tcc rollercoaster. Hoping your stay here is very brief and AF doesn't show up.... sorry to hear about your loss.
Reet – hoping that AF doesn't show up.... it took me a while to work out what you meant.... sneaky. I seem to have a disco baby, quite a big mover and shaker. Getting jiggy with it.. maybe I shouldn't have said that so much? LOL. But truly it's the best reassurance for me, so I am grateful despite the personal discomfort at times.
Kellbell – let it out girl.... sorry af arrived. And what chocolate has superpowers at the mo? I always love to hear about food.....
Forshelby – thanks sweetie – you have helped me be positive when I've been glum. You take care of yourself. Pity you WHS guy wasn't more “careful” but like you said at least you don't have to worry about when to tell people now... take care sweetie.
Bons – let the sizzle begin. You go girl. I vary in my response to semen. Sometimes the smell/taste/looks and thought of it makes me gag and at others times not. I like the theory that foods can change the smell/taste. So probably can state of health, so if he's getting a cold, I can smell the difference in his breath and taste the difference in his saliva, even before he realises. It's kind of good in a way, I notice the change, and DH takes better care of himself and often doesn't get sick.
I am laughing at the thought of the TCC'ers having a “something about mary”, semen moment! Luckily now there is so much hair product on the market that people may not assume the worst.....
Ionna – sorry sweetie – but I am loving the fact your breaky almost made a reappearance. About telling your DP, it's not the telling him that's been the catalyst, but I understand why you'd think that... my advice? don't do this on your own.... if you tell him then you can share the joys and lows ( ie m/s).
Minnie – hope your appointment next week brings some answers.... sorry that you're all sick. Get better real quick.
Alice – good to hear from you....not too much longer.....
Thanks for the welcome Minnie, Forshelby and Dory, I'm not real good with remembering names but I will try my best to keep up with everyones stories in here, bear with me I won't forget anybody or ignore any comments on purpose I promise.....lol.......so be patient with me please...lol...
Forshelby: Not sure when to test, sometimes I think ignorance ends in bliss, with my DD I never had my first test done until I was about 12 weeks UTD.....lol....last time I tested the second day I missed AF and that ended in tears with my MC. So I'm not sure if I want to do the test this time around just yet....I want to know but on the other hand I don't want to know, if you know what I mean.
I wish all you the best with your journeys in here and look forward to reading your thoughts in here as well.
HI clairesmummy - so sorry to hear of your loss, hoping that your ttc journey is a quick one and that you get your BFP real soon (when are you going to test??)
minnie - hi sweety, sorry to hear that you are all sick. we were like that a couple of months ago, it's crap!!
forshelby - how are you feeling after your rested day??
bons - let the bonanza begin!! hope you have a some what relaxing time away
dory - oh i can't believe you have less than 10 weeks to go now...let the excitement begin xoxo
AFM - not much to report except I have had a sore lower back but I think that is from the way I was sitting on mum's couch while doing DP's bookkeeping!!!
Hi Iona,
Not sure if I want to do the test yet......AF is due this week end.........I'm scared but I'm excited mainly worried though that I'm looking and feeling for signs that are not really there if you can understand my double dutch on that one. I guess I'm hoping that the things i'm feeling and seeing aren't just my head playing tricks on me....
Thank you Iona, I'm hoping she stays away as well....lol.....
My B's are starting to get pretty tender at the moment could be a sign of AF on her way but they don't usually get tender at all with AF and I'm pretty suspiscious about having high temps as well definately not a normal AF month for me this month. But I'm counting the days down until she is due on Sunday/Monday.
Clairesmummy - Sore bbs is a really big sign, especially if it isn't normal for you. It might as well be neon and flashing.. hehe. I really hope this is it. I also understand what it's like wanting to know but being afraid of seing only one line. At the end of the day, you need to do what's right for you. If you'd rather wait a while after you're late, do so. Me, I'm a POAS kinda girl though.. lol. I just HAVE to know. I'd told myself this cycle was not the one, but then O'd late, and managed to get in a sneaky morning bd before work on the exact day I O'd. It was weird. On one hand I didn't want to get my hopes up, but from then on (and especially for the rest of that particular day) I felt so good it wasn't even funny. I can't explain it, I just felt content, and thought we really might have done it this time. Turns out we did.
Anyhoo, enough about me.. I'm just rambling now. Give those bbs a squeeze for us, girl! Hahaha....
Iona - Yep, feeling very rested after my relaxy afternoon. I tucked myself in with the furbabies, and had a really nice nap. Dog in my 'kneepit' and Cat in my 'elbowpit'. Soooo cute. I feel like a total goose though for crying like a sissy girl. I just freaked right out when I thought how much worse it could've been, and that I could've fallen down the stairs which are conveniently coated in metal checkerplate. Mmm.. safe. I'm investing in some ballet flats this weekend!!!!!! Really grippy ones with so much rubber I'll be doing foot burnouts wherever I go. LOL. How are you feeling? How are the symptoms progressing? I was excited to feel a bit off colour this evening. I seem to feel crappy right around dinner time, and in the middle of the night.
Oh, stick babies, STICK!
Everyone else... hi, and babydust of course.
PS. Where has craftymummy gone??

: feels disrespectful to let my ticker show. But I keep forgetting to disable it!
Just a quickie then i will do persies!
Forshelby- i think u confused me with bons earlier in the arvo in ur post.. just wanted to let u know and bons know so that theres no confusion!!
Forshelby and Iona- NO! Im not testing!!! U cant beg me to test just cos thats what i did to u! U guys had symptoms.. I dont!! I am going to be strong! I even went to woolies the other day and made a little plan with myself.. if the hpts were on special i wld buy one.. i walked past them and alas! they were! but... i looked at them and very quickly walked away.. i just cldnt do it.. especially since i think af shld be due tomoro (even tho im not entirely sure). I will defintely be letting u guys know as soon as i test.. or af shows! (which i think she will.. no positive thinking from me this month!)
Clairesmummy- Oh ur symptoms sound promising!! Please keep us posted on the outcome. I hope its a bfp! keep the trend going in here!
Dory- Love that u mentioned the taste of dhs semen! haha i was so going to say something about that side of things but got embarrassed! And it sounds like u know ur dh SO well! U know him better then he knows himself! haha.. thats usually the way tho.. oh well i think i know dh better then he knows himself!
Minnie- AF didnt come for me until a month ago and i had m/c in feb.. my progesterone levels were way too low. I went to the gyno when it had been 9 weeks since m/c.. he said that was way too long to wait.. he put me on progesterone pills.. that messed me up a bit.. gave me a bit of spotting but nothing else. But yeah i think u shld try Maca! Have u heard of it?? Its worth a try!
AFM- I dont think any of u guys were in here when i first joined and told 'my story' Just a quick version.. 3 weeks after i had my m/c my 22 yr old little sister found out she was pg.. she had been vomiting for a couple weeks but thought it was just some bug.. I was telling her she shld just test to be on the safe side.. Finally after a few days she did while i was on the phone to her.. it came back positive. I was sad for myself but at the same time I was telling her that i was so excited for them.. which i truly was. She wasnt sure what to think, she had only been with her b/f at that stage for about a year and she still felt like she had a lot of partying etc to do... hes 30 so i thought he was more then ready tho. I spent the next week basically telling her that the best thing to do wld be to keep it.. i cldnt see any other option. They sadly decided to have an abortion. OMG I was devastated! I cldnt believe it. She stopped ringing me for a week cos she knew how much it wld affect me and probly that i wld try changing her mind. I know that its not good bringing a baby into this world when the parents arent ready or truly wanting it yet.. but with what i had gone thru i just cldnt imagine throwing a little baby away. Anyway (sorry this has turned out to be loong!) sitting with my sis and my mum today i was saying how i cant wait til i am a vomiting mess etc.. and all she kept saying was 'oh no marita its awful.. its the worse feeling in the world.. u never want to go thru that.. trust me when u are pg u will hate it! It was so frustrating to hear her go on like that!! I wont hate it!! I will LOVE every moment of it!! ...even if i cant get out of bed! I dont believe she was trying to upset me or anything.. she was just telling me the truth from her perspective. I just cant believe how things pan out.. life can be SO unfair!!
Anyway sorry for my long ramble!!
Im planning to go and have a few drinks with a couple girlfriends on saturday nite.. ofcourse it wont be happening if i AM pg.. so if af hasnt arrived by sat i will test! So dont stress girls.. we will all know in 2 days what is going on in my body!!! Please body be good to me.. please please please!!!
i have heard of maca but don't really know anything about it, is it similar to vitex (not that i know anything about that either, its just i have heard about it in regards to cycles) ?
Iona CONGRATULATIONS! Woot! Woot! That darker line sounds very good.
Dory: oh 30 weeks is such a wonderful big round number. 10 weeks to go sounds so soon. Counting down to hear your good news.
Kellbell: sorry AF arrived. Glad the chocolate and ice cream remedy worked!
Alice: so excited that your next cycle will be coming up in the next few weeks. Really hope this is the lucky one. It feels like it should be when you've worked so hard to make your body ready for baby.
Reet: You have been very brave to offer that support to your sister when it is so hard to get your head around her choosing to end a pg that you would be grateful to have. It's a mixed up world that lets her get pg while you have troubles. Hope this month is your month.
Damprye, Bons, Forshelby, Minniemouse and anyone i've missed... hello (scared to go back a page in case i lose this post).
AFM: still not quite there yet Grrrrr. Dr has suggested one more dose of medication to try and complete the m/c. Can't believe I would have been 10wks pg tomorrow. Still, i've gone this far... it's really not worth the d & c now. Should be ok (i think) in a couple more days. Going back to Dr next week.
Clairesmummy: welcome to BellyBelly and good luck that you've hit the jackpot first time around!
congratulations Iona!!! I hope you have a happy and healthy pg and nice that you and Foreshelby can go to the bb forums together. Best wishes to you both.
Dory - congrats on reaching 30 weeks! That's wonderful and hope the next ten will just fly by. xx
Thanks Minie, Possum, Bons (sorry if I missed anyone) - I'm counting the days down. Might even do a ticker!!
Minie - hope the appointment with the FS goes well and you can get started on IVF again soon
Possum- must be soon now for those levels to go down? Hope you don't have to wait much longer. So sorry lovely.
Bons - LOL at the taste of you DH's stuff - think it depends what they eat, sometimes it's tastier than others LOL! IKWYM about dtd at the parents house - hope you have fun anyway
Hi All,
Just a quick one from me, gotta go and ring council, my poor furbaby was attacked at the park yesterday, she is feeling a bit worse for wear
Welcome Clairesmummy, I hope you stay here is quick! xxx
Reet - still keeping my FX, and in regards to your sister.....I was violently sick my whole pg with DS, it sucked, but now looking at it after mc, I cannot wait! I figure the sicker I am the stronger the bubba is sticking ( last pg, I vomited once ) xxx
Big hugs to you all, and thanks for the comments on the stuff....i think i new (sweeter) eating plan is coming Dh's way , and yes I have had those moments when you find dried stuff when you are out and about hehe
AFM - Got another bd in last night - Im really hoping this is our month, have been daydreaming bout rubbing my tummy with sunscreen over summer....I shouldnt get my hopes up, I have an appt with my GP next week while Im away, not sure whether to discus more options if im not pg soon, Im just really impatient!!!!
That wasnt very quick at all, be back tonight xxxx
Forshelby- Thanks for the words of confidence and the flashing neon lights....lol.....still on the subject of my bb's they aren't sore as in painful just feeling a little tender around my nips, sorry if it's tmi...lol...not as sore as they were when I was pg with my DD when the shower on them would nearly kill me. And a huge congrats to you.
Possum and Bons, thanks for the welcome and I'm hoping my stay is breif in here not that I don't like chatting to you all and keeping you all updated it's just that I soooooo want to bless my DF, DD and me with a little bundle of joy.
and an update on me, still have no idea what's going on with me as yet, but when I went to the loo before I noticed I still have small amounts of whiteish\creamy CM and when I did the dreaded wipe I noticed a little tiny weeny bit of creamish brownish stuff AF not due until Sunday and I normally don't show signs of AF till the day she arrives. And I don't know if I am drinking way to much for my bladder to handle cause it's so cold but I'm so over running to the toilet to p every hour or so. Normally can hold it for hours on end not this week though. Feeling a little off colour this morning as well but I'm thinking it's nerves cause AF is due soon. Still got a high temp reading this morning though of 36.2 when I'm usually in the 35.6 area at this time. I take my temp orally as it's my DD thermometer. And I have also been exp. some very weird dreams for the past 5-6days. The wait is driving me insane........
