OMG Kez, that's awsome. I can understand that you must be scared, but a line is a line, so they say, so i'd do another test in a day or so and see what happens, then get your butt down to the DR for a BT to confirm......oooohhhh how exciting....there's going to be a mass exodus from here soon....Good luck, and keep us informed..xxx

I had some period painy sort of feelings today too and I'm still really in denial. I have little faith that this will be different from the other two times. I'm making it very hard for myself to be positive and I'm thinking about investigating hypnotherapy??!! Has anyone tried this? I hope that it is OK that I continue to hang around like a bad smell in this thread. Won't believe it is actually going to happen for us until I see that scan that shows not only a heartbeat but moving limbs!! Thanks again for all your support girlies. :hug:

Not too much to report on from this end. Began bd this morning, although it wasn't too romantic as I kept visualising pretzels and bicycles LOL. Still feel positive and have continued with sit ups and started with the diet. Meds have caused nausea all weekend but am just soldiering on. Spreading heaps of stickys to all of those BFPS!

I think that hypnotherapy would be a really good option. I have done it and it was quite incredible. I will use it next pregnancy and during the birth. I understand how difficult it can be to have that leap of faith that this baby will continue to grow.
Try very hard to believe and allow some excitement and anticipation in. We are all here for you...You hang around as long as you like and as often as you like.

It sounds like the eyebrow wax from hell! Are you okay?
I remember I had my brows waxed at a hairdressers once - I couldn't get into the beautician that usually did them. It was a Christmas eve. She dropped wax on my lashes and they stuck together! It was horrendous! I couldn't open my eye and she was putting all manner of goo on it to release the wax!

Thanks Deb! I know the pessimistic attitude is just a coping mechanism. I suppose I just don't want to be hurt like that again and figure that if I assume the worst then anything else will be a bonus. Have been having some dull period painy feelings too today-- very concerning :confused: Did I read somewhere that you are going to TTC again around Chrissy??!! Oceans of Luck for this one!!! I know those sticky ones must be waiting out there for us somewhere. :hug:

Lou - how you going sweets? Cycle wise I'm guessing I'm on CD12. It's hard to tell coz I bled for a day, then it stopped then I spotted far a few days prior to any 'real bleeding' again, but I decided I'd take the 'real bleeding' day as CD1 as it kept up like a proper AF, so yeah, CD12 for me. LOL at visualising pretzels and bicycles. Whoever said about going 'parking' with their DH (I think it was Megan - please correct me if i'm wrong) but i said to my DH on Friday night on our way home from grabbing some tea 'Do you wanna go parking' and he's like 'parking where??? We're going to park in the garage'. So i had to explain what i meant, and he just laughed and said 'where do you get these funny ideas from'....hehehe I didn't tell him. Good luck with the diet. I've started mine this morning. I'm back on the Tony Ferguson, so we'll have to keep each other motivated. I've got my step mums suprise 50th in Feb, so I want to look Fabbo considering i haven't seen anyone since I was in school, and i would hate to think of what they would be thinking if they saw me now....but i'm gunna do it....

Kez – well…..have you tested again?? Are you going to have bt’s done?? OMG how exciting. I am praying and hoping that this is it for you matey.

Hope – Ive heard that have af type pain can be quite normal, so please don’t stress yourself out sweety. \Praying that little bubba is nicely tucked in for the long haul.

Megan – hi hun, When is your scan? You must be getting really nervous / excited. I hear you on the ‘expecting the worst’ thing, I imagine id be exactly the same. Keep positive sweety all will be ok.

Shan – will you be using opk’s or anything to pinpoint O, or just bd all month?? That can be sooo tiring…..but its what I’ll be doing this month. Good luck with the job.

Cilmum – LOL at pretzel and cycling positions. I usually lift my hips after bd and don’t get out of bed or get up for an hour (or the next morning!). Dh has to dress me afterwards usually!! Ah the things we do  Any ‘symptoms’ yet?? Testing isn’t too far away – I’ll be keeping everything crossed for you.

Missy – glad is going well with you and how sweet is dh?? What a nice moment  So have you made any appts for your tests etc??

heya girls,
sorry didnt have tome to take notes this arvo but wanted to post and let you all know I tested agian on thursday last week and nothing at all it was a deffinate BFN and a little while ago DH asked me if I wanted to test and told me to get to it LOL so I did and wouldnt you know it a BFP it was a little feint but I could see it clearly at arms length so I think its pretty safe to assume at this point, I am feeling a little nervous as I just want this one to stick but I am trying not to think about that and just think as posatively as I can atm.

congrats to the other BFP, I have read through so I do know waht going on just cant remeber it all clearly enough to post personals LOL. I will be back here tomorrow, and know I wont be ready to leave for a while yet not till all is confirmed and I feel confident gee I hope this works out and doesnt turn me into a nervous wreck.

Amy - Yeah congratulations on the BFP, wow there have been a few this month. Great news, so glad DH encouraged you to test. MIne just sits around and waits for me to announce it. I swear I could have been 6 months preggo with Shelby before he would have even bothered to ask. lol

LIsa - So sorry the old hag found you, sending loads of Xmas baby vibes to you

Megan - I so know where your at with the undie checking. I think I finally stopped checking at around 26weeks with Shelby. Just make sure you buy unpatterned toilet roll from now on. Those darn patterns have given me many a heart attack after wiping. Aargh there's blood, oh no thats just the tug boat.

Me - still spotting, well it's heavier now and my temp well and truely did a nose dive this morning so pretty sure I am out. Just want AF to arrive properly so I know where I am at. We go for our session with the genetic counsellor on Friday, so hopefully after that we will feel a bit more comfortable TTC again.
The eyebrow - well, I have been left with a graze about an inch long above my right eye. No one has mentioned a thing, I think they think I have been beaten up. lol

Just thought I'd pop in and let you know that I got my results back today and yes I did O this month. My level was the lowest its been since taking clomid but atleast I have ovulated. I pray that we have caught the little eggie this time as I'm sooo sick of ttc. Oh well I guess I'll find out next week either way. I'm back to specialist on Monday next week too, same day af is due.

DH gave me a bit of a shake up, he is worried that I am little too fragile to cope with any possible future set backs so I need to not get so obbessed with it all - so I will try :)

So glad you are feeling OK KEZ! My DH gave me a very similar talking to a while ago and it did actually help. We don't realise at times how much it takes over our lives-- and I'm sure all that energy we use thinking, worrying and generally being basket cases could be put to better use. I'm pleased to hear that you are sounding positive but it is till OK to be sad when you need to be!! :hug: I was thinking of you last night and am so glad you posted this morn.

Hope - hypno is awesome. I did hypnobirthing with my dd. It got me through 2 days of full on labour with no pain relief. I'm now doing some for weight loss. With dd I had a lot of period like pains early on & she was a sticky bub. Sticky bub wishes for you.

I caved in & did a hpt this morning & got a BFN. It's early though, so maybe there's still hope?? AF is due Saturday. I think I'm kind of setting myself up for a softer landing into the pit of disappointment - know what I mean?

Can someone tell me about OPKs? Do you only need one pack per month? What's in a pack, what's a good one? What do you do? How does it work?

Oh Kez sweety – I am so sorry that you have had to go through this. Maybe Kirsty was right and you had an early loss or a biochemical pg (fertilisation occurs but no implantation). Keep your chin up sweets, im sure you will get a sticky bfp soon. But I know the disappointment is probably worse now than anything. Sending big hugs your way.

Cilmum – what cd are you? Fingers crossed its just too early and you get those two lines in a few days. As for OPK’s – I used the ones from Lullaby Conceptions (on line shop) and found them cheap and effective and you can get as many as you want – I think I got a 25 pack. How many you use depends on what you start testing and how long it takes for a positive OPK to show. Id say about 7 should be enough for 1 cycle, and the ones in the supermarket are soooo expensive for like 5 tests!

Hope – it has been a good run of bfp’s – need to keep that going  I’ll try and do my bit for the bfp cause this month LOL!! Hope your indigestion isn’t too much trouble, that’s one thing I had with both pg’s and I got it straightaway. I’ll give anything to have it again IYKWIM? Hey – im having a mental blank – what happened to Kate from this thread?? I know Kelly is in PAML but I haven’t heard from Kate in ages.

Sorry! We must have been posting at the same time. I had a long post all ready to go and I lost it. I'm too tired to start over so I will try again tomorrow.

Just a quick update, nausea and exhaustion have now been welcomed into my life. I go to the doctor in 2 weeks. We will then discuss what kind of tests need to be done. Since I have never miscarried she isn't too concerned about that but will do some blood work then to make sure everything is okay in that sense. I know that we will need to do several U/S over the course of this pregnancy. Thanks again for all your guys support! I couldn't do this without you guys and be sane!

Kez! I am so Sorry AF has come, dispite a BFP :( That is totally BUSTED!! :( Heaps of (((hugs)))

Anyway I am 11DPO, but I had a BT @ 8dpo (went into hospital due to massive abdominal pain, which turned out to be an ovarian cyst that eventually ruptured) and my beta's were <1 :( So definately NOT pg!

So I should be around until the end of my next cycle.
