Throwing my stash of around to make sure this new thread is even luckier for us all....

Thanks Jen - overwhelmed is exactly the right word! I'm feeling a bit better about it all today now I've had time to digest everything a bit. Hope you have a lovely weekend ... this is the right time to be a day behind - guess who'll have the last laugh when we're trudging off to work on Monday ... Nighty night, and have a lovely sleep...

AFM - DH and I had our blood tests for the chromosome analysis this morning, and as a safeguard I've bought him some Menevit which he's started today. In my research I've discovered that 80% of Turner Syndrome cases are due to faulty sperm that are missing the sex chromosome but have everything else. I've not told dh this as there really is no point - he would just feel like crap. Next step is seeing the Clinical Geneticist on 16 October. Funny - ob said it would take 6 weeks to get results of chromosome bt's, geneticist's receptionist said 2 weeks, and the pathology lady said 2 days. Hmmmm... main thing is that the results are back before we see the geneticist which I'm pretty sure they will be.

Just to add to the fun I had a glow in the dark super-positive opk yesterday ... I'll try and stick a pic in the gallery - I was pretty excited!. Yesterday was just so crazy that I really didn't feel like bd'ing ... temp still hadn't gone up today, and have had another 2 +opks (this morning and about 20 mins ago) so hopefully we were still able to catch the eggie with a nice healthy when we bd at lunch....

I'm sorry - I have the memory of a goldfish so I can't remember enough of the old thread to post any more persies but you know I love you all, and can't wait for all of the lovely new to roll in for the new thread!

    xx

Good luck for the new thread wonderful ladies.

jenushka - big for you. DH and I were the opposite, two losses & no explanation. We sometimes wondered whether it would have been better to have an explanation but either way it's so so hard. Good luck with everything, you sound positive.

Sending you all super a big

    Hey girls!!
Just a quick one to let you all know that our 12 week scan went EXCELLENTLY yesterday!! Little bub is measuring more in line with our second scan (a week ahead of my ticker) and jumping around, doing somersaults and waving. It's such a relief. DH and I can't stop grinning and talking to Button.
I'll be back later for persies, but I've gone and hurt my neck/shoulder somehow and am in a load of pain. Wa wa wa wa. Hehe.

    Big love to you all!!

hi everyone havnt posted anything for a while and justed wanted to say congrats to those who have fallen pregnant ant to wish those who havnt yet all the luck and best wishes. stay positive and never give up.
Im currently on my second go at the clomid and am 7 days into my 2week wait. and the wait is killing me.im trying to be positive but on the other hand dont wont to get my hopes up, this is the hardest part for me waiting to see if it has worked. yet if it does work im scared that it will end in a miscarriage as it did before.
i feel like a crazy person, my emotions are all over the place and feel this is the only place i feel i can share these feelings without being judged. ( hope u dont mind)
i have a question i would like to ask i dont have any children and have always wanted kids, but since the m/c i want them even more its all i think about has anyone else felt like that??
    sorry for the long entry.

jenushka--Wow, that's definitely a +OPK!! I'm those little (yay for new spermies!) find their way to that eggie! C'mon little spermies, can you say "fertilization"? Hope you get your BT results back quickly and that the Menevit helps your DH. Big, big hugs and some for you!

AJC--Thanks for the babydust! Here's some right back atcha! So I know that you weren't planning on finding out the sex of the baby, but are you having any inklings as to what you think you're having? OMG, I can't believe you're 23 weeks already!! I bet you're sporting a nice belly now, aren't you? Big

tutmae--Congrats on a great 12 week scan! How awesome to see little Button waving at you and doing somersaults!! Keep that grin on your face--you deserve to be happy and enjoy being pg!! *kiss*

Rachel B--Ugh, the dreaded TWW! Keep your chin up, you're half way there! Big hug... I think it's quite natural for anyone after suffering through a m/c to feel almost obsessed at times about becoming pg again and having children. I already have 2 DS's, but after my last m/c especially, there's still a longing/yearning just to be pg again! Good luck with the Clomid, and I pray that your TWW ends with a BFP!!

    Hi All....

I'm so proud of myself - I spent yesterday afternoon going through those boxes of "stuff I might need one day". I managed to half fill our garbage bin, fill another box for the charity bin, sort some of it out to stuff I might use this year and managed to empty about four or five boxes and only filled 2 back up as "stuff I might need one day".

AJC - hello. Cruisin along nicely.

Jen - have you had a look at those smilies - it's like a candy shop!!!! I think we picked right O on day 14. Now in the

Tutmae - Yay for 12 week scan

Hi ladies, a new thread boy you have all been busy., I just cant keep up so I do apologies.

Jenuskha Good luck with the menevit I hope it works for you and I that and get your sticky lil jelly bean.

Jen Thanks for the advice about the B6 I will go buy some on my next day off. I am willing to give anything a go. I also have a question for you since you seem to be pretty good at the whole BBT thing. I am a shift worker and work different shift all the time would I still be able to BBT? I asked my acupuncturist and he said no just curious what you think?

Issy Well I dont know what to say about AF I dont want her to come as I am hoping you get a BFP. Maybe you could go get a blood test done and they can check your hormones and tell you approx where you are in your cycle?

Mollycat Good work with the spring cleaning I did it not that long ago but wasn't as successful as you I only managed to get one garbage bag full. Sending you lots of Hope those spermies done there job and and you get your BFP this month.

Rachael :goodluck2: in your I hope you get your BFP next week. My FS has just put me on 25mg of Clomid to start on my next cycle as they usually are 37 days long in hope that it makes me ovulate earlier. Did you find that the clomid helped you? Can I ask why the FS put you on clomid?

Tutame Congratulations on your healthy 12 week scan and that button is having a great time in your tummy

AFM Well I am a little confused I dont know what is happening in my cycle my CM has changed and the position of my cervix from low to high and then back to low again almost twice in each day so I am really confused about when I Ovulated. Well I think I am somewhere in my TWW but dont know where guess I will just have to play the waiting game now and see if AF shows up

Tam--I think as long as you get 3 consistent hours of sleep, you can take your temp at any time of the day--it doesn't just have to be in the am. Let me see what I can find..... OK, here's what it says about BBT and shift work on FF:

How can I chart my BBT if I work shifts?

It is not impossible to take your BBT if you work shifts, but it will be more challenging. Take your temperature at the time you wake up when you are most likely to have had the most sleep. Be as consistent as you can. On your days off, take your temperature after you wake up as well, even if it is at a different time. Make a note on your chart of changes in your waking schedule. You may take your temperature in the afternoon before you go to work if that is your usual waking time and the time after which you are most likely to have had the most sleep. It is not useful to take your temperature when you are already awake and active.

Hope that helps! Ooh, and good luck with the B6--I learned of it thru some of the girls here at BB, and it also helped them with their cycles!

issy--Hope things get worked out with your cycle.... it must be so frustrating for you!

mollycat--We're pretty good at predicting your O, aren't we? And good for you for getting some cleaning done Could you please come do my garage next?

Hey Toccara! Thinking of you! Hope you're having a great weekend with DH!

Fab 3/4--Missing you all! Hope you enjoyed your weekend! Love you bunches! *kiss*

Jen - my intuition is saying a girl so it will be interesting to see if I'm right. Of course I'll just be happy with a healthy bub - but it's fun guessing. Yeah, my belly is getting bigger now which is nice but now that things are warming up I'm starting to really notice the heat.

Tutmae - yay, congrats on an excellent 12 week scan. Such a fabulous feeling, enjoy every moment of it. From 12 - 20 weeks it really flew for us. Yay - am so happy for you!!!

mollycat - hi! Well done on the de-cluttering. DH and I have been trying to do that at the moment consolidating our guest room & computer room into one so we could clear out a room for bub. I think we're getting there but sometimes you just have to be strong & say 'ok I haven't needed it or even thought about it for years so I'm just going to chuck it'. Easier said than done huh.

Just touching on the bbt topic - I found that if I just used the first temp after waking (whether I woke at 5.30am or 7.30am) and it still seemed to be reliable. And well, I'm sure most of you know how much I love B6 - helped my body hold onto this little bub nicely. Good luck Tam.

Rachel B - my sister told me to ask the OB about starting on Clomid when I see him, however I don't know much about it and I am ovulating, she told me that I could have multiple pg's if I start taking it and am already ovulating.????? Advice??

tutmae - Congratulations on the 12 week scan cannot wait for it to be all of us that are TTCing....

AFM - watched this show on Foxtel last night about triplets and these ladies who were all pregnant with triplets....it was so amazing and I cried and smiled and it just made me want just one bub even more...I don't know about you girls but I just love watching shows about fertility and babies .....just drinking up all the information on these shows... We are hoping this month will bring us a sticky bean....Im wishing it on all of you too.........

By the way in regards to B6 - Im just taking the whole kit and koboodle of
vitamin B complex plus folic acid with iodine...oh yes and the acupunture and the chinese herbs....hopefully this time it will be a healthy pregnancy....

Have a great day ladies thinking of you all..........xxx

Mannie - it is true that there is a possiblity of having multiples on clomid but I think it's a very slim chance. I fell pg on clomid twelve years ago and only had one, and have been on since and never fallen pg at all. I have PCOS but I do ovulate by myself.

AJC - totally easier to say "i really need to chuck that out". That's why i had so much to go through (still have a fair bit to do). I know i put some things back in the box cause I was "not ready" yet to get rid of it. Maybe next time. I'd love to get back out there today but it's just too hot at the moment. I've also been working on the garage (that's another place where I hide things i might want later)

Jen - If I ever finish cleaning up here, I'll be on the first plane over
