i am at the end of my first period and had accupunture today.....man they stick alot of needles in...i had five in my stomach three in each arm and each leg.....im looking forward to trying again....got a bit of a hang over after the baby shower...i was ok but it got to me when they were opening presents and when they told me my ex boyfriends partner is pregnant with a boy

Sorry been otherwise occupied and unable to get onto here till now. My levels are fine...thank goodness. They are sitting at 6100 from 3500 (maybe 3000 I think 3500 tho Sat at 3pm) and BT was taken this morning at 11 so 44 hours and they have gone from 3500 to 6100. I think the higher they get the longer it takes to increase or double. Dr was showing me the chart and they are meant to be for 5 weeks to 6 weeks gestation 500-7000 so I am happy with that being that they are 6000 at 5w2d pregnant.....getting worried there may be more than one tho since they are right on the high end of that and they have a week to get to 7000. Dr was happy tho so that made me happy :)
Ick chicken. I am lucky nothing seems to have bothered me as of yet smells wise or m/s wise (except smelly offensive couple). I guess maybe I am lucky, tho it makes me feel very UNpregnant. But I guess time to get over it and move on :) maybe it will all kick in at 6 weeks....ick....
I reckon go back and get another scan if it makes you have peace of mind. That is what I am going to do for my mind.....or I will stress out like crazy.
Goodluck with your BT Kell. Try to get in early then you might get the results back the same day :) not that you will need luck sweetie, you baby will be just fine and the levels will be whopping!!

def only one sac on ours - got a appointment at 9 on wed so should be back wed arvo. i feel alot better after the scan so glad i went even if it was early.
does anyone know how many scans are covered by medicare in the first 12 weeks?

Ooooh mum22 u got my hopes up!! My levels were at 9000 at 5.3 weeks! Hopefully i have twins!! They went up from 650 to that in 7 days. Oh i hope so! Time will only tell i guess tho :)
Great that ur levels came back so good! Has the spotting stopped?
Kell- Yay for a good scan! Annoying u had to go back a few days but oh well atleast everything is looking perfect! :) Its so exciting we are all getting scans around the same time! :)

Mum22 - Oh you sound like me at 5ish weeks. Smells were SO strong, it was horrible. Also a great sign for you though, hun. Your bt levels sound great! Congrats! I hope your scan goes well too.
Melster - Glad you got through the shower ok. I'm a bit confused though, why your friends decided to drop that little bombshell on you when you were already on a knife's edge. If they don't know about your mc, I suppose it's not as big a deal as I'm thinking... but yeah. Hurtful if they do know about it. I'm proud of you though for making an appearance and doing it with grace. :)

Ive been hit with the flu and the morn sick continues counting down the days till 12 weeks - i have a form here for another uss i should book it in about 9 weeks i reckon but im so scared to have it in case its a blighted ovum or something.

Kell- Hey how yah goin darl, long time no chat......lol......not testing until the earliest will be Monday for me if AF don't arrive before then.....I say book your scan darl everything is going to be wonderful for you I can just feel it in my bones. Good sign if you have MS darl. Not long now and you will be saying wow the past 12 weeks has flown by so quick....
AFM- 1 second I'm feeling like a big fat bloated I don't know what then I'm feeling like I'm hungry......had a few cramps a couple of days ago nothing serious just felt like AF was coming early but so far she is a no show, she's not due to arrive until Monday. Today I am 7DPO and on CD23 so I now have 5 days then I can POAS hopefully.......lol......still praying and hoping I get my BFP please please please.

Kell- Yes i say book in a scan! Maybe in a weeks time?? Then u only have a few weeks before ur next scan in mid oct! Its very very reassuring seeing that little heart flickering away.. and im sure ur little babies will be! :)

AFM- Went and saw my ob. yesterday and he suprised me with having a little u/s machine in his room so we got to look at baby again!! :) :) He said the heart was still beating very strong :) He said to go back in 2 weeks time for another checkup.. another look at baby..yay! And thats when he will give me the form for the NT scan.. so very exciting!
