TTC After Miscarriage

Hi All

I am really hoping someone can provide advice or has been or going through what I am

So here is the background of my situation. I had a miscarriage at 5.5 weeks bleed for a week and then 3 weeks from the day the miscarriage started I had a light period (believe it was a period) then on 6th day of the light bleed had pretty much finished, I had a positive OPT (ovulation predictor test) So we had sex on 3 separate occasions, once the day of the LH Surge and twice the day after. I guess i have 2 separate questions

1. Chances of conceiving
2. When can I take a pregnancy test as I am not sure when my period is actually due as before the miscarriage I was 30 to 32 day cycle.

Any help advice would be great, we are going out of our mind and thinking we are experiencing symptoms i.e swollen/larger breasts, as this was a symptom with the previous pregnancy, I am thinking we are wishful thinking

I'm sorry so for your loss

This cycle has as much chance as any other cycle if that helps. I would probably go by your usual cycle length of 30-32 days and test after that Hope you get some good news!

The reason I am not sure on the cycle days is because if I was ovulating 6/7 days after light period that would be I am based on a 21 day cycle because of when I ovulated, I really just want to take a test but don't want the disappointment of a negative

I've been there, it's always so hard not to test.

If you can I would wait because cycles/periods don't always go back to completely normal straight after a miscarriage.
