heelo everyone,
hope you are all having a good day.
FINALLY today i have not had any spotting! so almost 3 weeks of that carry on and now i have to wait for af! Or better still for af to just not come.........
leila i hope all goes well at the obs, i will be watching for an update....
lsb hope your mum is doing okay, arent you a lovely daughter to help her out so much.
wowzer i have no idea when my af will come, hopefully soon or not at all, have been having a few o symptoms.....
kiwigirl and satya best of luck this cycle for a bfp, i feel we all need some good news!
sweetpetite hurry up af! i havent waited half as long as you and is driving me batty now, bring it on af.
treelo how are you? i hope everyone is recovering from the pox nicely, if thats possible, so is that everyone now?

Starrysky - Yes Cooper is the last to get the pox THANK GOD !!! But i must tell you he is going to be the worst of them all. Lawson is pretty tough and it takes a fair bit to knock him for six. But Cooper is very sensitive and emotional and has a VERY low pain tolerance. So he is at second day of spots which is the worst. He has the fevers and the stomach upsets and just plain miserable.
I just picked my car up and $390 later......im eating noodles for the next 3 weeks!! I need to be working but no one else can look after poor Coop, and to tell you the truth, i dont want anyone else looking after him, he is my baby (a 6 year old baby) and i will care for my precious one...we will survive without my pay somehow.
thanks so much for asking hun
treelo
-
hey treelo,
glad to hear thats it then, i am sure you are the best thing for cooper atm, sonds like he has got it pretty bad? i have had it twice, both times just a few spots and a little under the weather, my brother had it terrribly, pox in his mouth, up his nose, in his ears as well as all over, diarrhea, fever, hallucinations!! i think mum ended up taking him to hospital, not that they did much...
is your eldest fully recovered?
thinking of you at this stessing time
starryskyxxxx
-
Thanks mate, Cooper is the oldest so no, only just started. Lawson is 3, he is fine now, although still has some scabby spots, and DH is now free of spots... and mum just needs a straight jacket.
hugs
treelo
-
derrrr, sorry, dont know what i was thinking!! its right there in your signature!!!
how about a nice comfy padded cell to go with that jacket?hehehe

Hi Everyone! well I tested again.......and I got a BFP.....OMG! i can't believe it..... it came up quite quickly too....am waiting for DH to come home and tell him but won't tell the kids yet......have booked with my Dr for a Blood test tomorrow! I am SO excited!! So by my calculations it's an early May Baby!
-
Just read your great news on the TWW thread Dawnee - but CONGRATULATIONS again - fantastic news!!!!
I went to ob and was told that this was a 'Normal' m/c - strange i know!!! He said that it was really sad that i mc as i heard heart at 8 weeks and was really strong he said - very minimal chances of m/c. He also said that due to loosing at 9 weeks it would of been a chromosome problem and nature 'dealt' with it....
doesn't make it any better - on the positive side though he said that no reason why we should TCC again and made appointment in 3 months in case we have fertility issues??? (dont know why we would but he is the dr) Anyway he said that the next time we see him we will probably be pregnant.
So the only thing i liked with the whole app - was the end sentence - that we will prob br pregnant next time we see him which is in 3 months.
As i was paying my fee when leaving - there was this lady standing there and blowing up about having 'the sh*t of a kid' induced on Sat - i quite rudely brought it to her attention that i would gladly swap and she should be really quite happy to have a little one ready to come out - i couldn't believe it...
Anyway our TTC journey will start as soon as the big O hits - How long after D&C did you guys o???
-
Hi Leila: I didn't have a D&C we found out at our ultrasound that the Baby was 5wks 3 days but dates should have been 9 weeks(it did also have a heartbeat)....My OB quite bluntly said it wasn't a viable pregnancy and we would M/C within a week.....he offered a curette but I opted to let it happen naturally. He was spot on too within a week it all started.....I bled for 7-10 days approx and then settled down to wait for a cycle of some sort......when I noticed two weeks later I had very strong Ovulation symptoms and we had been Bding anyhow but not TTC......and well here I am today with a BFP! just told my DH and he's thrilled.....Goodluck keep an eye out for those signs.....I had them all the pelvic Pain, and CM egg whites consistency (sorry if TMI) but I read this is the most fertile sign......and an increase in my Libido hahaha which is the only reason he got any in the first place hahaha! So good luck it can happen....and hopefully won't be too long! -x-
-
Leila: I have also heard you are very fertile after a D&C.....
-
omg dawnee!!!!! that is fantastic news!!! i am soooooooooo happy for you and dh!!:confetti:
so this was your first cycle after m/c? if so there is hope for all of us, i feel we need another bfp by the end of the month!!! ;)
hi leila!! sorry for the exclamations but am very excited by bfps!!
i am sure your doc is just trying to be re assuring!?! so that IF in 3 mths nothing has happened you know you have him to fall back on but i am sure we will be seeing a bfp before then sweetie.
not nice that you had to hear that woman whinging, when i went for my d&c i was in the maternity ward! i was checking in with all these women who were about to give birth and all i could hear was screaming babies.........
sending you all a healthy dose of:bluedust:
and to you dawnee lots of:stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
-
THANKS so much for the Congrats! We are very excited......yep It was my first cycle after the M/C......I am getting a blood test tomorrow to get my HCG levels checked.
Starrsky: I think that would have been terrible to have been in the Maternity section.....I remember Years ago my Sister in Law had a stillborn and was put in the Maternity ward to recover, people assumed her Baby was in the nursery and would say "So what did you have?" it was awful!
I agree who's the next BFP???? am looking forward to it! -x-
-
all bets on, whos it gonna be??????
-
Kiwigirl - Sorry about your BFN. I know it's weird how many symptoms I get sometimes. This cycle and last cycle I have had the most though. Usually by about now 7DPO they start to dimnish but they aren't yet.... have to wait and see what happens.
Treelo - don't you just hate the TWW
Leila - glad your appointment went well.
Hi to everyone else and congrats again Dawneee (I already posted in the other thread).
Symptoms are all still continuing plus now I can add major mood swings & frequent urination to the mix (probably fibroid related all the weeing, and I can be a cow coming up to AF so doesn't really mean a thing). I've got to say I'm a little worried how similar things are to last cycle. As much as I'd like to be pregnant again I think the stress of waiting for another m/c to happen would be a bit too much..... lets see what tomorrow brings.
-
satya - Are you going to test anytime soon??
starrysky - Can we bet on someone that's almost in the TWW? :P Cause I'd like to bet on myself ;)
-
-
Lizjessie - not planning on testing until Sunday at the earliest. If my calculations are correct my AF would be due on Sunday or Monday. Last time I tested on the equivalent of the Monday this time and I only got a very faint positive so I'd probably leave it until Monday

Hello ladies,
Just sticking my head in here to say hello.......... I've been recovering and healing after a D&C on 13 August. What a bl.....dy rollercoaster ride ttc has been, I've cried 2 rivers now. BUT, pleased to report, I'm keen to try again, and determined DH and I will get the little bub we want together.
Look forward to us all getting BFPs soon and getting to know you all :)
Hey Satya, here we go again, you and me will be pregnant at the same time I reckon :D
A question...... I've bled (not much) on and off since the D&C, it seems to have stopped now - 2.5 weeks later. I've had cm that is bloodstained - can I consider this to be true cm or just left over d&c stuff? I've heard many women ovulate 2 weeks after a D&C, but I just can't be bothered buying OPKs as I never had much success with them. Anyway, DH and I are bd..ing every few days, so see what happens..... do you think my hcg levels would be back down to Zero-ish??
Here we go again - arrrgghhh........
Lee xoxo
-
Lee - why don't you ask your GP for a BT? I found that really comforting after my MC to know my HCG was back to zero. I hope you and Satya are UTD together too.

Well, here I am again. Not so much again as finally! After thinking I'd fallen pg last month, DH and I decided we really want a baby now, and so are going to actually TTC this month. This month is kind of our last chance till next July, as we'll be going to England for a month then, and if I'm in the third trimester, flying is out of the question, obviously. With my history of m/c, I don't really want to fly at all during pregnancy. Having said that, if someone said 'You can fall pregnant in December, but you'll have to fly' I'd take it of course!
So taking supplements, planning when to BD, have a pillow ready to prop under my bottom ;) eating nutritious food and making sure I drink plenty of water and juice...have I forgotten anything? Really desperate to fall this month, but I must try to relax.

Lee - oh I hope you are right. With the mood swings I'm experiencing at the moment I would not be at all surprised to find out I was pregnant again now. You could try using a HPT to see if your HCG has dropped.... I did that a little while ago just to make sure I got a BFN. I'd say it could be fertile CM.... I hope so.
Acria - best of luck for this cycle. You've covered most things there. If you are not already doing it a supplement of folic acid is a must and vitex is good too.
I can't believe how quiet it's been in here today..... very unusual.
My mood swings are continuing... another huge fight with DF tonight. BBs have been a little tender on and off today. I had a .1 temp rise this morning. Will be very interested to see what tomorrow brings.
-
Thinking of you Satya, hope you get what you want. I'm sure your DH will understand why you're moody, even if you're not pg, pms can be a killer.
Shoegal - so glad to see you're pg again! :) Last time I was about, you were hoping for it, so I'm really glad to see it's gone the right way for you.
Lee - after my d&c, I bled for about a week and a half, and it took my cycle a little longer than usual for AF to come. Could well be fertile cm for you. Dawnee fell pregnant in the first cycle after her m/c, so it definitely can happen, and I've heard (not sure if it's accurate or not), that you can be more fertile right after a d&c. A blood test isn't a bad idea.

is three weeks today since d&c, dont want to remember, wrote a poem last night, (is posted in my story if you want to read) actually made me feel worse at the time but woke up this morning feeling lighter, i think i was trying to hard not to let monday get to me.
anyways...... wishing everyone a bfp asap xxxx
-
HI all, CONGRATULATIONS DAWNEE, you go girl!!
Lee- I had a D&C the same day as you, sorry for your loss. I am glad to hear someone else has the same symptoms as me. I too have blood stained cm fluid, I had a + LH surge but haven't had a temp rise, so stuffed if I know, but here's hoping that it is fertile cm, so DH and I are Bding in hope!!! I did a HPT yesterday which was negative, so hopefully that means my pg hormones are diminishing... Hope all goes well for you.
Ps how do I add little pictures etc to my posts, they look very boring compared to everyones!
-
hi nellsbells, i think you need to be a paying member to get the pics, they are pretty cool arent they?
i am trying to find my dig them so i can start temping, think it might be interesting to try to work out where im at, cant find it cause i havent unpacked everything from when we moved 3 mths ago..

-

-
Thanks, ahh got it now, I was clicking on quick reply. :wall:
-
where is everyone? i couldnt get on here today and now it seems like the place is deserted!!
is everyone watching idol or something??
-
I'm here. I've just added my FF latest FF chart & my last cycle when I conceived to my signature. Someone on one of the threads wanted to see it.
-
i will get there one day, soon i hope....
-
Good work Dawneee:dance::dance:
-
you will Starrysky, but hopefully you will have better luck than me and get a sticky bub 2nd time round.
-
thanx satya, i hope i do, i really hope your next one is sticky.
-
Hello, hello! As usual my timing sucks, and theres no one around when I feel like a chat. Oh well.
Dawnee- Congratulations, well done and a huge WOO HOO!!:D Hope this ones nice and sticky for you
Starrysky- Hows it going. Keep trying to catch up to say hi, but what can I say? The lure of Idol was too much
Satya- hi, hope your doing Ok and keeping those mood swings in check. All your symptoms sound really promising this cycle :crossfingers:
As for me Im sitting at about cd11 and Dp has decided hes to sick to Bd. Was hoping to get at a shag at least every 2nd day. Will have to make up for it over the next couple. Meanwhile I've had the most nasty pelvic (like near my CS scar) pain for a couple of days. Kind of like a pulled muscle, but I've done nothing to do that. Anyway. Dont know what thats about.
OK, had my sook. Had better think about RPA and bed. Night :)
-
Beaksie - I know the feeling :P I'm usually a night owl ;)
-
Beaksie - that sounds like a weird pain, you might want to get it checked out if it keeps up. I was up for a chat earlier on last night and hardly anyone was about.... damn the time difference. It sucks when your partner isn't up to it due to illness. I've been there and I was not a happy camper.
My temp went up .1 of a degree this morning and my BBs feel just a little on the sensitive side and a little heavy.
-
Hi all
Well just as i thought the (TMI warning) bleeding had stopped after my D&C and i appeared to be having clear CM i had another brownish discharge:cry:
Dont really know what is going on! My ob told me that most females dont ovulate till 4- 6 weeks after D&C so i guess i was kidding myself thinking i could be o sooner... so frustrating!!
Sorry about the rambling!!! Leila
-
Hi Leila, I took 5 weeks to get my AF after the first D&C and I didn't ovulate in that cycle but this cycle after the D&C I did ovulate about a week later than normal. Hang in there :) I found that when I had brown CM after the D&C it had the EWCM consistency. Not sure why?
satya, we're at very similar stages of our cycle and our temps are similar. My O date isn't that clear this cycle so I could be either 9DPO or 12DPO depending on how it's read. Hope you're not going too crazy in the TWW. I am!! My temps look so nice and high but because my O date wasn't clear, I'm not sure when I should get my hopes up or even test again (yeah right, I'll probably test on Saturday because I'm so impatient!!!). I keep checking my BB to see if they're sore (not recently) because that was the one sign I had in February. Must. Stay. Sane.
-
hi leila, i had the same thing, not sure when i o, waiting till af so i know where im at, have been looking at ff and trying to work out the charting, temping thing, i dont know if i am organised enough to stick with it.....
hi kiwigirl, i used to hate the tww i am sure i will again, fingers crossed for you xxx
p.s
i can watch idol at the same time beaksie! hehehe, ihate all this stuff atm, bring on the final 12!!
-
Quick post.
Kiwigirl - goodluck holding off testing.
Kiwigirl & starrysky - I'm a bit the same way. FF gave me a coverline but it is possible that it was a couple of days earlier as I had one high temp after the m/c. So I'm either 9DPO or 11DPO but I'm going with FF.
I just had a bout of nausea before while I was filing at work... so much so I rushed to the loo just in case..... this just does not happen to me unless I'm way drunk or hungover.... of which I am neither. I was in contact with a girl on Sunday who had just had the gastro bug that's hitting Melbourne so I'm hoping it's not that on it's way to me.

Ladies you've been very busy chatting... great to see :) It's time for a new thread, and hopefully, many more bfps. Find your new thread here.
