Hi ladies,
Jen - Hey there cycle buddy :) How's it going?
Joey - Have fun skiing, you lucky thing!
KL - Stay away AF!! I really hope it was just too early for you to POAS.
plc - Awww, thanks for thinking of me  Things are a bit cr@appy unfortunately, see below :(
pbstar - Congratulations!
smilantu - Stupid AF!! I'm so sorry she arrived :(
jenushka - hun, I found that talking to a counsellor really helped me. I was OK to start with after my m/c and then fell in a heap about 2 months later, which was when I decided to see a counsellor. It still took a while longer to get things in perspective, but it did really help.
Hi everyone else :hello: and :welcome: to all the new ladies.
AFM, well not much good news here, basically my IUI was scheduled for today and it has been cancelled. No one seems to really have much idea what happened this month, but I started tracking on Mon and my prog levels were already higher than they should have been, and they have continued to rise over the last 2 days. One clinic nurse thinks that I may have Oed on Monday, in which case we are in the TWW and in with a real chance because we BDed a few times over the weekend and on Mon night. Another clinic nurse though thinks that the rising prog may be due to the cyst on my ovary breaking down, in which case my lining will be shot and we will have no chance this cycle. So who the b@#$%y hell knows? It was obviously going to be a waste of time doing the IUI today, so we've cancelled it. I can honestly say that I not really even sad about it, I'm just really really annoyed. Why can't something go right for us for once??
I'm not really expecting to have any good news in 2 weeks time, and we see the FS next week to talk IVF. I think he may offer us another IUI seeing as this one was a bust, but I'm not going to waste anymore time on Clomid now. It has not done its job for 2 of the 3 cycles I have taken it, and I'm not willing to do another one and risk another cyst which may stuff up an IVF cycle. I knew I was right to be reluctant to take Clomid again, stupid friggin drug!
So we will almost certainly be starting IVF when AF arrives. I may be a little scarce around here until then, but I will look in from time to time and try to post. I'll be thinking of you all and hoping to see many more BFPs!
-
megsmum--Hey cycle buddy! I'm sorry things are so crappy for you at the moment, and that your IUI was cancelled. :( I agree that you're long past due some good news for a change! I'm  so hard that you O'ed on Monday--your BD days sound promising, if that's the case! Can't you just have a biopsy and have the cyst removed? Did the clomid cause the cyst, or just help it along?
:goodluck2: at next week's FS appt. I'm hoping and praying that you don't need the IVF, hon... that you caught that egg and your miracle is already hiding from you, on the path towards implantation!
Take care--sending heaps of :bluedust: :pink-babydust: and lots of
-
Hey Jen, thanks for that :) I hoping really hard that this cycle is the one for you too!
I haven't spoke to the FS about the cyst - will do that next week I think - but from what I can gather it is not a really big one at 2.3cm and they reckon that most of them go away of their own accord, which is probably what mine is doing. I think they only biposy or surgically remove the really big ones. I am planning on asking for another u/s to check that it is getting smaller and not growing though, I'm thinking I would like to have that done before the end of this cycle. I don't know for sure whether Clomid caused it, but my instinct is telling me that yes it did. I reckon I didn't ovulate last cycle (I don't know if you remember, but I had a low prog last cycle at 7 DPO) and that the follicle has turned into the cyst. So if I'm right, there's no way I'm taking more Clomid - what a waste of time it has been :(
But I'm holding on to a tiny bit of hope that we just didn't see ovulation on the tracking blood tests, maybe we might just be lucky. But on the other hand the realist in me tells me that I may as well just prepare myself for IVF because that is more than likely what we'll end up having to do. Oh well, things could be worse I guess. At least we have IVF easily available to us, we can afford to do it, and it will increase our chances of success. We already have a gorgeous DD too, so at least we have a track record so to speak ;)

Morning All,
Tut - I hated the dreams last time although mine were a bit raunchy..... I used to tell DH about them and he would be concerned I was turning into some sex crazed person.
Chappas - how frustrating for you to get a BFN and still have no AF.... hope it sorts itself out one way or another
Pbstar - mini yayayayayaya !!! I will keep my major applause until Sunday. In the meantime :shhh:
Megsmum - what a postive attitude you have with everything you have been through. I can see a little bub for you in no time
Jen - yay for B6 - yes I did get a tentative coverline today
AFM - got the tentative coverline today which means I ov on day 15 yayayay. I am a little concerned with my temps though as they sharply rose then have dropped again. My gyno reckons my temp should increase everyday for the first 2-3 days, mine is doing the opposite. I also only got a "good" for BD timing this time - oh well cant change that now, Please stalk my chart and let me know your thoughts
Will have to just sit tight but I refuse to overcomplicate things this time. Maybe the :bfp: will just pop up :crossfingers::pray:
-
easha- thanks for your mini yay! wow i hear you on the raunchy dreams i had such a full on one last night, poor dh loved hearing about it but got let down because i am trying to hold off on sex until i speak to my doctor about whether i should or not during the first 12 weeks...yay for o for you, hope your tww flies by. good to hear you are not stressing about the temps and stuff, mine have never behaved so i stopped doing it altogether a few months ago
megsmum- sorry to hear you are having a rough time, keep your chin up and try to stay focused on those positives you mentioned. so hard that you get lucky this month
jen and plc- thanks for your pep talks, am starting to let it sink it a little bit...jen you crack me up with the indestructible cheerleader!
Krystie- am sure it is just too early for you, i'm with jen, go back to even days :)
-
Hey, everybody. I'm just "de-lurking" long enough to say hi and best wishes to everybody (and we're still trying).
-
Jen - Just cause I'm a teacher, that doesn't mean I can count!!
Sorry chart whisperer. I am going to have to disagree with you (and FF) on my O day. Got EWCM last night, and a huge clump this morning just before 9am. So what's going on with that? cause my temp has started to rise I think. Unless Sunday was an off temp cause I was an hour early checking it.
I was using OPK's twice a day, around the same time each day if possible. About 10am and about 6pm or 7pm.
No i'm not leaving you guys just yet, tomorrow after school, but don't know if I'll have time to post after school. Perhaps I'll jump on dad's computer at night (we're sleeping at dad's Friday night so we can leave early Sat morn).
I'll have to download that song.

Thanks!! Chat tonight some more before I head of tomorrow. :grouphug:

-
easha - that is unusual for this thread, I agree! hun, if you can stay up another 20 mins or so, log onto chat in "miscarriage" room and I'm sure those wicked girls will be in there ;)
actually think i just missed u, not to worry.
-
Easha and Joey - So nice to see you two back! We've missed you :grouphug:
Easha - Good news about you ovulating earlier this month. I'm glad the B6 seems to be helping you. I wish I could ski. I've never been skiing, but I would love to try it on a trpical island sometime (I hate the cold!)
Not sure what your misbehaving temps are doing...
Joey - Oh nana! You poor thing with the 11-12 bedtimes! You must have been too tired to knit! :O Hehehe. I'm glad you had a great time.
Mollycat - Yay for re-registration going well and being over now! How often do you have to have the inspections? Don't cave in with the POAS like me! Two negatives so far, grrrr!
Tutmae - Honey! Embrace your pregnancy! We're all so super happy for you and I would hate for you to miss out on even one precious moment of you pregnancy. I know it doesn't help for us to tell you not to worry, but 3even if you have to let some of the worry in, remember that there is a little person inside you the loves their mummy and wants to to be as happy as she can :)
Jenushka - Hello my little trooper! I think you are being so amazingly strong and brave and I am super proud of you. I know how hard things must be for you at the moment, and I am so glad that you found the strength to post with us again. I think seeing a counsellor is a fantastic idea, and I'm pretty sure if I were in the same situation that I would be doing exactly the same thing. Huge hugs for you sweetheart
plc - Hello "special" friend
Angel - Better give those strained fingers of yours a massage, this was just a practise run for the "REAL" testing day when I'm going to get TWO lines!!!
PS. Ok I get the hint. I need to update the cycle list :P
-
Sandygirl - Hi cycle buddy! Apparently my BFP is waiting for you to test with me! Hehehehe! Oh, and I kinda follow Angel's theory on POAS, lol. I find it kind of lets me down easy and eases me into the BFNs. But not this month I'm sure ;)
Chappas - Keep up that excessive peeing!!! No af! :)
Jen - If you are ovulating soon then you better stop crossing "everything" for me!!! Uncross those legs and wrap them around your skydiving, bald headed, sexy sunglasses wearing MAN!
Hmmm, now how could I have been so wrong about the "odd" days when I had such good reasons to back it up?! How could I be so blind as to not realise that "evens" is my lucky days?! *sigh*
Toccara - Oh I've heard some horrid things about the BC shot! I hope it didn't mess with you too much, but from what you've written it obviously wasn't a walk in the park...
Smi - Stupid stupid BFMFFFF!!! Sorry sweetness :(
My best friend has always reallllly wanted to get a PT Cruiser. She adores them hehehe.
Megsmum - Sorry you plans didn't go exactly to plan :( Hopefully you've snuck in a sneaky BFP before the need for IVF. But if not, then I just want to wish you all the best with the IVF and I really hope that it is a raging success and that you fall pregnant straight away!
WTH - How are you sweetness? You've been mia for a while and I've missed you
AFM - By bb's are a bit sorer today, so am really hoping that the testing was just done too early. Will try to be strong and not test tomorrow. But it's going to be hard considering that I'm going to have to switch over to even days, and well.... tomorrow is an even day!!! :cryinglaugh:
-
BB.... firstly.... who are the wicked girls... couldnt be me your talking about.... and yes.. i m sittin in the room.. but i m not the wicked one. ;)
Krystie... nooo it wasnt meant as a hint... i dont do hints.. i would just come straight out and say something.... goodness.. you should know that by now
-
Easha: Come to think of it, my dreams have been quite raunchy.... hmmmm, musy have been repressing them as I have told DH no dancing until 2nd trimester. Cos I'm a cautious chicken! Also, FF told me I had a low chance of concieving this cycle and my temos were wacky, but look what went and happened!! :crossfingers: for ya hon!!
Jenushka: Big huge massive  for you darlin. Words cannot express how sorry I am that you're going through this!! But you are such a strong beautiful person, I have no doubt you will get through it!!
Jen and co:
Five things you may not know about me:
1- My favourite colour is red (pretty much all I wear is red and black- mostly cos black is slimming and you can't tell if you've spilled food on it which I do A LOT! And red is happy and bright and fun!)
2- When I was growing up my mother was Buddhist, therefore I was raised with those beliefs, even though I went to an Anglican school (where my best friend in high school told me I was going to hell and made me saaaad)!!
3- My DH and I dated for 4 weeks before moving in together and 2 weeks later he proposed. Awwww. try not to vomit.
4- My father is a journalist and was a Cleo Bachelor of the Year Nominee when I was little girl (much embarrassment ensued for me)
5- I cut my own hair when I get anxious/hormonal/bored/sleepy/awake/thoughtful/breathing. DH has learned to cope and I think he's happy as I never go to hair dressers and pay ridiculous amounts for haircuts!
Hmmm, there's probably more but I'm fairly boring.... I just re-read that and yawned, but I'm still going to continue with an.....
AFM: My belly has popped out! Seriously!! I don't know how I'm going to cover this up for the next 7 1/2 weeks, I already look 4mths. It seemed to happen overnight. At first I thought I'd just gotten fat (despite my diet) then I felt my belly and it's all hard and looked again and it's ROUND (not fat blobby, but defined roundness!!). WHAT?! I heard you pop out earlier with your second, but at 4 1/2 weeks!! Geez! Looks like a big bubba for me!
-
KL: Aw, thanks hon!! Actually starting to relax a bit now, considering I'm starting to resemble a blimp! BIG  And, you know, you wouldn't want to wait 3 WHOLE DAYS to poas again, so I'm just going to shout TOMORROW FMU!!!
-
Morning gurlies!!!
tut...not a boring list at all! How cute your tummy must be...picture time!
I think our list should have been 10 or 20 things you don't know about me...LOL
Krystie...I always though PT Cruisers were super cute BUT now I want something else...I am forever changing my mind (you just learned something else about me...indecisive *wink*)
WTH...*wavin* glad your back!

Well having had my lap/ dye they have told me I do not have endometriosis but I do have polycystic ovaries... they have burnt/ drilled away asmuch as possible and have advised us to ttc in the next 6 months and if nothing happens to return for another op...
I do not have to use chlomid yet and currently I'm glad as I'm so sore and upset last thing Id want is to have to swallow one of those each day. I am gutted, more than gutted.
As for my CD I am not sure where I am now as I am bleeding but it could just be due to op... hmm

megsmum--Still  for your miracle!! You're such a trooper!

pbstar--Waiting and  to hear some great news! Oops, you've got an indestructible :cheer: stalking you!
tempus--:welcome: back from MIA land! Long time no talk to! Hope things are well with you!
-
joey--Well if you've got EWCM you better get busy girl! :bd: My O test strips say the best times to test are between 11-3 and 5-10, do you really think it matters? Hope to hear from you one last time before your trip! Have a great time swooshing the slopes!
WTH--Hey sweetie! So glad to hear from you! Hope things are going well with you, I've been thinking about you a lot! Many  and lots of love coming your way!
plc--Am I included in that "wicked girl" statement? Cool! *evil*
Krystie--Ok, legs are officially uncrossed for you! But eyes, fingers, toes, and technically my feet could be crossed if they were behind DF's neck! I'm  for your even-day, double-lined BFP!! Your BD days look SO promising!! Extra special  and *kiss*!!
Angel--So you're saying I'm the wicked one??? After the other morning? ROFLMAO Ok... you may have all them fooled that you're a prune () oh, I mean prude... but I know the truth!! *evil*
tut--You cut your own hair? Sounds like you cut it quite a bit--do you have any left? lol... OMG, last time I was pg I had the same problem with bloating. It never happened with either of my boys, so it was a big shock to me! I remember by the end of the night looking like I was 6 mo's pg--and I was really gassy, which I had never experienced before. It has something to do with the progesterone. :stickyvibesgirl:
-
smi--You could always make another list of 5 things we didn't know! C'mon, be a rebel!
Rachel--Hey hon, thanks for letting us know how you're doing! Glad to hear no endometriosis, but sorry to hear about the PCOS--I'm not sure if either one is worse than the other, but I'm sorry that you're having to go through this! I'm thinking of you, sweetie, take care of yourself!
issy-- for your surprise BFP! Hope things are going well with your degree!

AFM...Leaving tomorrow morning to go down to LA for the weekend. We're going to go visit my step mom and I think go to Knott's Berry Farm, where I've never been! Going to go see Snoopy! :hooray: She got us a hotel room for Fri. and Sat.--I love staying in a hotel! Yay! No worries, tho, I'll be bringing my laptop with me, so I'll be checking in throughout the weekend!
It's about O time, so looks like I'll have to be careful in the hottub. OMG, just went and did my O test and I got 2 lines! So that means I should O within 24-48 hours, right? It doesn't mean I already did for sure, right? Weird, tho, that my temp went up this am... but I am feeling some twinges on my left, not painful like last month--at least not yet! Hopefully will see some temp spikes for the next couple days! I'm excited to have gotten 2 lines--they may not be BFP lines, but it's been a loooong time since I've seen 2 red lines, so O lines will have to do! :cheer:
-
Jen- think will be 16dpo so probably would of shown by now. Just wish the witch would show her face so can move on. Been ttc since jan seems like forever.

chappas...what is your cycle normally like? Mine was 2 days late last month and 1 day late this month...HOWEVER...it's not over till AF comes
pbstar... still dancing for you!
-
OK - 5 things you didn't know about me
1. My favourite colour is purple
2. In my past life (the one before kids) I was a secretary/office manager and used to do the hiring/firing. NOT BAD FOR AN 18YO
3. I'm the youngest of 7 kids and have too many nieces and nephews to count
4. I'd love to be adopted (that way I wouldn't actually be blood relatives of some of my relatives (just joking) although........
The real 4. My favourite food is cheesecake, and I love to eat chicken
5. I met DH through both of our sisters (they went to school together)
Jen - not sure what's happening yet, I have a few little niggles, just hoping it's not AF knocking on the door, although it has that vague feeling :crossfingers: i'm wrong. Can I come on holidays with you again. I never (or so it seems) to go away - except for the odd weekend at the bay, actually must organise for another one of them.
KL - Re-registration is every twelve months, they come and do a thorough inspection and you sign new agreements and management plans, etc. But every 4 weeks or so, a field worker comes out and does little checks so it's really never ending, they also check on the kids and how they're going. A lot of the little things we have to fix up relate to the extension - a few bricks been left lying against the fence (the kids "might" pick them up and drop them on their feet) - they haven't in the three months they've been there - actually they haven't even looked at them, it's more exciting to play with the toys.
-
morning girls
issy you got me all emotional with your post...maybe just hormones? thanks so much hun and i am  so hard that you have a little bub in there to upset all your plans! ;) don't mean that in a nasty way, just that i really hope you are UTD...who knows, our cycles seem to be the same every other month so why not this one? let me know how you go...
a big thanks to everyone for all your support and happy dances for me
i POAS again last night and it is really dark now. so yeah i guess it is starting to sink in
went to my herbalist yesterday and for some reason i thought she would say congrats and goodbye and that would be it. but oh no, apparantly we have just begun. now it is all about miscarriage prevention...no sex, no exercise, no housework (really worried about that one, my DH is hopeless!!!), major rest, no exerting myself....far out! the herbs have increased to these foul liquid ones (before it was granules, tasted like herbal tea) plus this other concoction i have to make up from goji berries, deer antelope and red dates...she calls it "glue"...i guess it makes me all sticky inside? anyway it is foul and if i wasn't nauseus already i am now!plus have to have accupuncture as much as i can (we live quite far away from her so will prob be fortnightly). but i guess it is all for the best and at least i can control all of these things and it is keeping me busy so i don't think and worry too much. i really trust her, and i really attribute my bfp to her correcting my hormones, so i am just going to have to stick with it.
anyway enough rabbiting on for me, sending big :grouphug: and lots of :bluedust::stickyvibesgirl::pink-babydust: for all of us
-
KL - You have no idea how far behind I am in my knitting!! Please txt me if you get a BFP
Tutmae - Those are interesting 5 facts. MINE were boring! That's so cool that you're getting a tum tum!! :bellygrowing: How cute!
Jen - That's weird, my strips said between 10am and 8pm preferably the same time each day. I don't spose it would matter too much. Just try to stick to the instructions as best you can. Have a great weekend away... DON'T FORGET YOUR THERMOMETER! So long as the testing line is the same darkness or darker than the control line, then you're due to O within 24-36 hours. I know - how crazy is it! I got excited about my two lines too!! :cryinglaugh:
AFM - My coverline changed from CD18 (dotted) to CD20 (solid). My rating is only 'good'. I guess cause we only BDed 4 days before, and then on the day of and then 2 days after O. Oh well. Fingers crossed. It's weird though cause I am STILL getting O pain this morning (that's 3 days in a row now). Either that or I have appendicitis! It's the same side as last month, although a few days ago I did have some little twinges on my left side. Who knows. And frankly, who cares, so long as there's a little bubba starting it's journey in there!
I am soooooooooooooo excited about our trip. :excited: Just about all packed and ready to go. This could be my last post for a while, so pleeeeease txt me on my mobile if anyone gets a BFP!
:pink-babydust::stickyvibesboy:
-
Jen- Thanx! Hope you have a super time this weekend.
Smilanatu- AF was 2 days early last month and 1 day late month before.
Pbstar- can say proper congratulations now:happyforyou:
-
Thanks for the "Welcome back's". It feels nice to be missed!
Just want to send a HUGE "Congratulations" to Tutmae and PBStar
:stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl:
AFM - Day 17 since procedures. Now waiting for AF, which has previously come spot-on 4 weeks after. Then a month of testing (and resisting the BIG temptation to TTC) then back in the saddle with great gusto.

smi--You must be saying that Lee's a freak, cuz I'm sure you wouldn't say anything like that about me! :p I'm an angel! :angelic: Hmmm, never heard of Roscoe's Chicken, but if I see one, I'll think of you!
Hey mollycat--Mmmm, cheesecake is my fave, too! I love regular, strawberry, or ooooh, my mom makes the BEST pineapple cheesecake!!! Thanks a lot, now I'm hungry!
No, AF has to stay away... remember the force field? Even tho you can't see it, it's there! Another nice temp.... fingers still crossed! :crossfingers:

joey--Who do you think you're talking to? ME forget my thermometer? That's like telling me not to forget to breathe! Have fun on your trip! I'm excited about mine, too! You need a laptop so you can bring us with you!
Thanks chappas! Hope you have a great weekend and you get some answers one way or the other!

Jen - I keep thinking about the force field (hopefully the power of positive thinking will work). Mmmmmm, can you get your mum to send me some cheesecake. Yep, youngest of 7, mum has been married twice (first DH died - he's the father to the eldest four) and then my dad has the other three (der, that sounds stupid). My eldest brother died (he was 17) when I was 3mo in a car accident, so obviously I don't remember him - they say he was all over me whenever he came from work he would come and get me out of bed to play with me. I'm everyone's favourite (they used to buy me toys when I was little), shame they grew up and got married and had families of their own. I could still get them to buy me toys.
PBStar - sit back and enjoy the ride. congratulations are now in order :clap::cheer::wiggle::excited::happyforyou: there. I think that covers it.
Where there's hope - glad your feeling a little better and back amongst us.

WTH - Welcome back chicky. Sorry you have to be here with us, but glad you have chosen to spend your month with us. Cause then you'll be off again I am sure.
Jen - Thermometer (sorry, forgot who I was talking to!) I do NEED a laptop. I have told DH. We have been looking, but just waiting another month or so, so we can get the one we want for a reasonable price.
AFM - This time tomorrow I will have been in the car for 7 and a half hours. Ouch!
