Lee Glad you are still hanging about in this thread, it is great to hear that things are going well with you. I hope you get some closure when all the legal stuff is sorted out.

Satya You are always a couple of days in front of me with your cycle, hang in there and that it will be our turn this time for us both!

Zionsmum Same goes for you! Seems that I have only about one and a half weeks of having 'normal' feeling bb's then they start to get sore around O time and stay sore until AF rears her ugly head. Is this normal? Maybe I am more sensitive to any sort of symptoms and that is all it is?

Hello to everyone else I have missed. I haven't posted for a while, been a little bit low after AF etc etc. But should be in the TWW period now so feeling a little better. I got a call from my gyno late last week and apparently the clomid is working really well for me but that DH has problems, low sperm count, poor mobility and abnormal ones!

If it is not one thing it is another. So anyhow we didn't really get all that much bd'ing in around o time either so I am not too hopeful. And if it doesn't happen again this time we are off to the dr again for a referral to discuss more options. Getting quite sick of it all really and wish I could just forget about it for a while. Trying to stay happy and positive but seem to be swinging quite a bit lately from good to bad.

Pash - I know what you mean. I just can't believe I'd have friends actually say that to me! People whom I trusted. *shrugs* It drives me insane but I'm glad my DP is still by my side through all this

LizJessie - how many DPO are you? Do you have plans to test yet?

Well, I'm quite petrified at the moment. I totally caved and tested this morning and got a BFP at 12DPO. I nearly fell over... and then burst into tears before calling my DH on his mobile and blurting out that we were pregnant while he sat on the train trying not to make a scene. Well then the shock started to wear off and now I am just terrified that something will go wrong again. I have not made an appointment with my GP yet, I thought I should test for a few more days first as AF is not due till Saturday. So Shoegal - looks like we might be belly buddies... all going to plan...

Congratulations Leyla, think positive because I have a feeling this is it for you.

I haven't tested again I tested at 12dpo and got a bfn 2 days before AF, My AF is due today and I haven't gotten her yet BUT its still morning time over here so who knows. I decided that IF she doesn't come I will test on the 26th. Both times I have ever gotten BFP's its been on the 26th of the month. I will post updates the next couple days

Leyla - To tell you the truth, I'm actually not sure.. Me and DP kinda didn't wait until after I had my first cycle so I honestly dunno how many DPO I am - and I honestly don't know what DPO is, is it Days Past Ovulation?
I m/c'ed on the 29th, stopped bleeding on the 5th and haven't had AF since I m/c'ed
I've been feeling very sick lately, but I'm hoping that's AF coming so I can start charting properly. Do I check my temperature with a normal thermometer? I'm planning on checking a couple days after DP comes out of surgery - which would be about 10DPO

Timnik - That's bad news about your DF's SA, but let's face it you've been pregnant before so it could happen again.

Lee - my zit turned in to 3 by the end of the day and one was massive.... this does happen to me from time to time in week 3 so I'm not thinking too much of it. However by this morning I had two painful ones on my back and this is pretty unusual for me. Hoping it's a good sign, but only time will tell. I'm also getting really cranky really quickly which is not like me at all.

Shoegal - good luck with keeping quiet.

Zionsmom - hope AF stays away.

Lizjessie - you just need a digital thermometer and take your temp at the same time each morning before getting out of bed. When you see a rise in temp of around .3 or .4 that stays there for 3 days you can safely assume you have O'd the day before the temp rise.

Kiwigirl - yes I do find that. We have a far better time in bed after O and in the early part of the cycle - no pressure to time things right.


Well I'm just cranky today. Been yelling at the dogs (we're dog sitting an extra one) cos they are driving me insane. Yesterday I spent all afternoon angry at work over one thing or another. It's just not like me. Nasty pimples on back and chin. .1 temp drop this morning so I think it will probably just keep dropping from here like it has the last couple of cycles..... but hopefully not.

Not a good day for me today, finally reached testing day and had a huge drop in temp and then af just showed up a minute ago. I knew I would be upset if I wasn't pregnant but I feel so down about it. It has been four months since my mc so I thought this cycle it would happen for sure. Oh well hope things are better for the rest of you girls.

Well I've decided I need to just relax and try not to obsess about getting pregnant, so I haven't been around or posting much anymore. But I do look in on everyone about once a week or so and see how you are all going - so I haven't forgotten you all!

I am pretty sure I am 2 DPO today, so have just started my first TWW on Clomid - fingers crossed we'll have some luck this month!

Lizjessie - I use a Fahrenheit thermometer and I find it very easy to use because the differences in temperature are easier to spot. I can recommend it if you can get your hands on one...

I have been to a naturopath yesterday and I have come away with a whole lot of goodies to build up my system again after the D&C. I have never before been to one and found it quite interesting... Has anybody else been to one???

I ladies its 5 pm where I am at and AF hasn't shown up yet, I just have a slight increase in yellowish discharge and it can even be slightly stretchy sorry tmi. But still I have been under ALOT of stress and I would bet anything that this isn't my month. No real symptoms either. I will update if my AF comes.

My day has not improved. I've gone from being cranky to being sad. A couple of comments from an insensitive work colleague left me fighting back the tears at my desk this morning.... thankfully she'd walked away before the tears started falling. I am mood swing central today!!!!

must be the day for it, i cant believe how insensitive some people can be. One lady asked if i happend to see it when it came it and how interesting it would have been to see an 8.5 week feotus. Im sorry, but that was just way too much for me.
Im praying to so hard that i get pregnant, although i keep telling myself that i may not even ovulate straight after the m/c, and that it may take a few cycles.

Thanks Penny, it was definatly not what i was expecting, expecially from someone who has a 6 month old baby.

Can anyone tell me what ovulation pain feels like? Is it like period cramps? Im just trying to be more aware of whats going on with my body and I think i may have experienced this last night and this morning.

Lee Sorry to bring up something that obviously makes you sad & angry in turns. If it helps, it makes me sad & angry too! I don't understand why something so simple, as in have the paediatrician see Luc earlier, didn't happen in the first place. And I don't understand why it is so hard to prevent? It must be so hard going through a pg when the circumstances of ur lil boy's death aren't sorted out. I'm glad you have a new ob & someone you can trust. I'm positive that your first appointment will go well. Also, do you mind if I ask if you were in a public/private hospital? Only because my SIL (who's an anaesthetist) said that public hospitals usually have a paediatrician on duty, but private ones have them on call. I was surprised at that, cos public hospitals always get such a slagging. Not that it really matters, I'd expect all hospitals to look after each newborn bub properly.
Shoegal LOL I love it. I love how happy you are. I wish you 8.5 more months of bursting with joyfulness (is that a word?). So when are you & DH going to start telling people IRL?
Nicole I'm sorry to hear the bad news about DH's swimmers. It must be hard for both of you, and DH especially, cos its never good to find out that a part of your body could be working better. Especially cos it affects both of you. But you know, it still only takes one strong swimmer to make a bub, so don't lose all hope. IKWYM about wishing you could forget it all for a while. I think most ppl in this thread have felt that at some point!
LizJessie Yep agreed about glad to have a strong partner. I don't think I could have gotten through both the m/cs without DH. He was so strong for the first one. We'd told everyone we were pg, and then when we got the bad news, he called & smsed everyone while I was a sobbing mess. The second time round, he was in a really stressful point at work, but he dropped everything to sit with me at hospital for about 5 days!
Diane I hope AF stays away. Crossing everything for a BFP for you hun.
Rachael ATM I'd be happy just to be BDing but IKWYM. I've often wondered if there is a Tips for Making Timed BD Seem Spontanaeous to DP kind of article on here. Maybe someone should write one?

Pash, I read in the last thread about your HCG. A very similar thing happened to a friend of mine (also in London actually). She was preg with twins, although didn't know it. she naturally m/c'd one baby at 8 weeks, but several weeks later her HCG was still highish and sloooowly rising. after a bit of investigation they found she had a fertilised egg/embryo either just near or in her ovary (can't remember which). I was a bit surprised when she told me as i thought that be would classed as an ectopic and have done damage, but it hadn't. god, hope this is all making sense. Anyway, i know your situation is different as your twins were where they should have been, but i guess it's possible something similar may have happened with another egg? i don't know... anyway, i'll see if she can log in here to clarify the story. I hope London life is treating you a bit better too, you deserve every happiness.

Lee - not sure if you're hanging out here or the pg thread atm, but i just wanted to say everytime i think of your little boy my heart breaks for you. i know suing the hospital won't bring him back, but someone needs to be punished for what happened to Luc. The thought that he died needlessly must be impossible to bear, you're a very strong woman.
