Diane I hope you have a BFP coming your way after all. What an emotional ride its been for you this month! I'll be thinking of you. Salt I've been thinking life's unfair too! Well, I still have hope for you, and am thinking of you. I hope your dreams come true & that your DH is well. Shoegal LOL that sounds soooo damn cute. Use it even if you have a boy, it'll be to early to do any serious psychological damage. BTW its better to be prepared and have your obs appts booked, than be superstitious & not have the best ob for your delivery. LizJessie Oooh good symptoms, I had pimples before both my pregnancies And yep, my DH is lovely. MissBelinda In case you're lurking, good luck with the surgery. And what is ovarian drilling? Satya You're not the only one getting insensitive comments.
My appt yesterday started with the ar$ehole (sorry) gyn saying "well you don't look like a woman who's just had twins". After I said that that was because I had m/c-ed, he started telling me about how he had been following my case closely (yeah, right). He thought I was fine and need to wait 6-8 weeks for AF, I'd stop bleeding in about 2 weeks (even though I've now been bleeding for 5wks). And that I'd be pregnant by the end of the year. I didn't need another HCG test or scan.
I was sooooo P-ed off! I hadn't waited an hour for a counselling session from an idiot who knew nothing about me. I demanded a scan & an HCG test, and now I am glad I did.
I got the results today, and my HCG has gone up again. The early pregnancy clinic called me to say that a molar pregnancy was looking likely and the referred me to a clinic that specialises in it. And they thing that the treatment might actually be chemo.
I have an appt tomorrow morning. So if it does turn out to be that I need chemo, I will take a break from BB & ttc for at least 6-8 months
