*las* - I'm all good with it - I wasn't expecting anything to be totally honest, I was expecting it to be a BFN - although I'm feeling sick still and have had numerous headaches.
Kiwigirl - oh my goodness! You poor thing. What a horrendous ordeal to have to go through. I think you deserve a massively big huge ginormous box of chocs after having to go through all that. I hope things settle down for you and that you can rest and look after yourself for a little while.

Wow, i've been away for a while and there's so much news here. i wish it was all happy, but i'll start off with the not so happy stuff...
Pash, I am so sorry for what you've been through, i can't believe you're still having to search for answers and i hope your doctors find them very, very soon. There aren't really words to say what i want to, but please know i am thinking of you and praying your luck turns around soon.
Kiwigirl, i got such a shock to read your post. In retrospect it makes sense (everything does i suppose) with the bleeding you had a while back and the spotting and cramping this cycle. But still, what a shock. I'm glad it wasn't another m/c too, and have my fingers crossed you will have some successful TTC'ing soon.
Las, so sorry to read about your news too, be kind to yourself.
Junebug, i was really sad reading your story. it's not fair to lose a baby and i just don't know how anyone can be expected to deal with it. i take my hat off to you and Lee - you're both amazing women who deserve only the best in life.
To Satya, Leyla and Shoegal - hurrah!!!!! Good luck with your pregnancies. I read something the other day that said 'trust your dreams more than your fears' and that's really helped me get through mine. Looking forward to reading your news over the next few months.
Whoever said the BFPs are coming in threes was right. I hope August brings lots of BFPs for you wonderful women.

I will have my BT results at lunchtime today so will be back on in about 6 hours to post whatever the result in for those of you who are interested. The GP marked the test urgent without me having to ask for it which was very nice of her. I'm very nervous of the result as last time I was already in the midst of a m/c before I'd even got to the doctor for a BT. I'm wishing for a nice big number today.
This is all very new to me so I hope I'm in the right place. I had a m/c in Jan this year and was delighted to find out that I was pregnant again 3 months later. We told everybody this time as everything seemed to be going so well. I was feeling nauseus and there was a heartbeat at 6 weeks. When we went in for the 12 week scan, it showed that the baby had stopped growing at 8 weeks. It was very dissappointing but we are waiting fro the ok to try again. It is a missed m/c and my ob wants to wait just a couple more weeks to see if it will misscarry naturally so as to avoid a d&c. Was anyone else advised to wait?
Look forward to hearing from someone, and please let me know if I'm in the wrong place.

ems - I wasn't advised to wait, then again, I didn't have a missed m/c - I had a natural one before I even knew it. I'm so sorry to hear the news
satya - August is looking good for the 'all things come in threes' if your blood test comes back with a nice :bfp:
Got my BT results. Definately UTD. HCG levels low at 20 so have to get another BT done on Monday. My GP is not at all concerned about the HCG level she's only sending me for it because I was thinking I should be around 50 or so by now.
Hello everyone, wow alot has happened since i was in here last... really bad week, my dad was killed instantly in a car accident last thursday and he lived about 4 hours from where i live so i had to race up there to help organise his funeral and support my step mum. He was 73. It was just horrible. By the time we got to see him it was a week later and it didnt look like my dad. The funeral was horrible, but what can you expect. I am so so sad for my dad and what happened to him, i cant really concentrate with what is going on with our cycle, but we went ahead anyway because kim had already finished the clomid, but cant really get excited or expect much from this cycle. in short we have 3 follies and we trigger tomorrow night and have the iui on monday...

Twomums~ I am sooooo sorry for your loss that is so hard. :( You are in my thoughts. Literally I can't tell you how sorry I am .
Nothing going on with me, my period didn't come in July and still isn't here I haven't taken a test again cuz theres no symptoms or anything so just keep me in your prayers that I will get my period soon. I think I might stop trying i just feel so defeated right now. Oh well hope everyone is doing better than me :)

Twomums - thats so very sad that your Dad left you so suddenly and traumatically. I lost a husband in similar circumstances, so understand the utter shock and despair. A shame your Dad won't be around in the flesh to get the good news of your's and Kim's BFP (shortly of course) - but he'll be watching over your little one - I'm absolutely sure of that.
Be kind to yourself for a long while to come and do whatever you have to do to make yourself feel "better".

TwoMums - i am so very very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I truly believe that they are in a better place and that one day we will see them again and it will be like a wonderful reunion (my own Dad passed away last year and it is this thought that keeps me going, otherwise i'd go insane thinking i'd never see him again after this earth place!). Please try to be good to yourself and allow as much time as you need to grieve for your Dad... and even though he is not here physically, i am sure he is with you in spirit and will help you and Kim through your journey.

Ems - so sorry you are in here (i just recently came here too, last week!). I had a m/c a few years ago at 12 weeks which was a missed m/c as well, but i was advised to have a d & c straight away. I did, and then it took about 3 months for me to get my regular cycle back. This recent m/c was about 6 weeks along and my doc wanted me to do another d & c, but i said no, i wanted to try and let it resolve naturally. I am glad i did, cos it is almost finished now, after about 6 days of bleeding. I have to have an ultrasound on Wed to make sure it all came out ...i am hoping so, or otherwise i'll have to have a d & c anyway!
I hope that you can make the best decision for yourself - my doc had told me there was too much tissue (including the gestational sac) for me to have m/c'd naturally for the 12 week m/c, and i have also heard from another lady at work who m/c'd at 12 weeks - she went natural and it went horribly wrong for her (ended up with pelvic infection cos some still stuck there so she had to end up having d and c anyway). Each situation is different i guess.
Good luck in whatever you decide to do... sorry i can't be of more help. Hope your stay in here is short and sweet! (and for all of us in here too!).

I told you all that last sunday Cooper scored his first try ever playing rugbly league...well tonight he didnt score one, nor did he score two... he managed to pull a hat trick !!! thats right, 3 tries....!!!! boy what a night !!!

megan & kim - I am so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. It's just awful when older peole die so tragically. We always expect them to die of natural causes or disease, never like that. Maybe the distractions you've had will help this be a successful cycle. I really hope so.

Even though we were going to keep things quiet the list of people who know about the pg is growing. My DF keeps saying and doing things that give it away. His sister guessed, as did his mother, now last night my mum asked why he was patting my stomach lovingly so of course I had to tell her. Its sooooo early I really didn't want to tell anyone, particularly until I see the HCG levels going up.
Satya - its so lovely to hear your DF is so loving and sensitive toward this child. Its wonderful. I can understand why you want to keep it quite and you may have to explain this to him. hugs to you both.
Littlescottishboy - I hope you scan goes as well as can be expected and that nothing is left.

Kbowman - if you are lurking: which OPKs do you use? I think I might give it another go next cycle. I have previously used the Confirm ones that come with the pregnancy test, but they didn't work for me...
No news for me. Looking at my chart I think I have ovulated, but the pre-ovulation temps are so up and down that I just cannot find a coverline... :wall:So I think I just ride this cycle out and see what happens next.
An old school friend has invited me to come for a girlie weekend to Berlin and I am doing some navel gazing whether to go or not. So soon after the D&C I feel a bit fragile and I don't want to leave my seven year old (although I know that he would be perfectly fine with his dad). Also I don't want to miss a cycle... - Am I crazy? Should I just go and enjoy myself with the girls and forget about everything else??? Somehow I am not too excited at the prospect of boarding a plane without my DH and DS (which is not me - I always have the travel bug normally...) I have to make a decision by Monday.

Just dropping by for a quick second, thanks to everyone I feel stupid hoping for my AF, does anyone know if I can still ovulate even though my af is all messed up? I am "supposed" to ovulate in a few days but now I don't know anything. Does anyone have any ideas?

Ovulation has been known to happen (albeit rarely) during AF! Zionsmum, I hope your cycle sorts itself out soon. It's frustrating not knowing. I thought I was going a bit mad in the first never-ending cycle after my D&C with three patches of ewcm but in the end it was the OPKs that told the story with a positive in the final patch of ewcm. I knew then how far AF would probably be! Good luck, honey!!!! Are you using OPKs? What are your temperatures like?
Penny, I use Lullaby Conceptions OPKs (best value when you buy in bulk and so I don't feel terribly guilty starting to test early or even testing twice a day when I'm getting ewcm and I think LC is a great Aussie company) and the Ovunow OPKs (a lovely BB friend mailed me hers after she fell pregnant) which are also an internet brand are also good. Buying online really is the best way to go, the chemist and supermarket ones are too expensive and some aren't even reliable! An invite to Berlin, ooohhh can I come too???? :lol: As for maybe missing a cycle, if you do, you could look at like you're giving your body extra repair time. I'd be voting to have some fun (that will be the mental health repair time!). HTH :D

Im so sad :( . My brother just rang me and told me that we couldnt come to my nephew and godsons birthday party tomorrow because of DH chickenpox. DH wasnt coming but since cooper and lawson have never had it, then they may have it and we just dont know yet.
His wifes sister in law is 12 weeks pregnant (she only told them today). This is her 11 pregnancy which means she has had 10 m/c. My god how does one cope with 10 m/c ?? Reaching 12 weeks is a real milestone for her, she has never gotton this far. Needless to say, i would feel horrible if my boys had chicken pox and then threatened her pregnancy or baby. I totally understand that i cannot take the boys anywhere near the party, but im still sad. Maybe its a for the best anyway, i would have been 12 weeks on monday....i guess i dont need to be reminded that my angel isnt here. I feel selfish for being sad. And im angry at myself for being envious of her...after all that she has been through, i have no right to feel anything like that towards her.

treelo - I don't think it's selfish at all!I can understand the sadness, I get sad every time I talk to my best mate of 16 years, she had a child without even trying!
Treelo - i think it's perfectly natural to feel the way you do. I would, too! I think it's important to acknowledge all feelings and don't be hard on yourself for feeling a particular way. I think it shows how much love you have inside you, ready to give a precious little one who i know is just waiting in the wings for the right time to plant in mummy's tummy! :)
Penny - have you decided whether to go to Berlin or not? How exciting to even be offered something so wild and fun! If you go, i'm sure you'd have a great time (and if you don't go, i'm sure your son will still give you lots of love and cuddles to make you feel glad to be home).
As for me, the m/c looks like it is finally 'resolved' and over (just light spotting now, like the end of a normal AF, but i will never forget what it was like for the rest of it!). I am hoping my u/sound on Wednesday shows that all of it has come out...then the next stage will be trying to work out if there is any sort of pattern to my cycle anymore! (seems like lots of us are in that situation). Back to temping again....makes me feel like the last 10 months of taking ym temps has been futile and won't even make a difference anymore as my cycle is probably all stuffed up now. :(

PS - Zionsmum - are you thinking of doing your temps? I am in the same position as you, wondering what the hoohaa is happening with my cycle too... but i have heard that temping is the most reliable way to know if you are ovulating (there si a grat website called Fertility Friend that does the charting for you; all you do is put in your temps and it does the rest).
Hi ladies. I'm so worried that everything is about to go wrong. I had a couple of spots of blood about 4 hours ago but nothing since. I know spotting and bleeding can happen during pregnancy and not be a problem but with my history I can't help but feel that it's a bad sign. I'm not seeing my doctor until Tuesday and don't know if there's any point in trying to see her tomorrow as I'm sure she'll just say to wait to see what tomorrow's BT shows.
satya - It might have just been implantation bleeding *shrugs* I'm preying for you darl :)

littlescottishboy- I have thought about temps but every morning when I get up I get lazy. I should keep a thermometer near my bed. :) I am sort of at the stage of giving up for now which is ridiculous we have only tried for 1 month since my mc. I think I will temp, i will keep ya posted. :)
Satya- Please try not to stress too much, I am sure your bub is snuggled in there nice and warm getting used to his/her new home. :)
Satya - fingers crossed for you hun. Please try not to stress... praying for a sticky bub for you. I am sure everything is just fine... i had implantation bleeding with Angus early on in the pregnancy too.
Zionsmum - i have a thermometer on my bedside table... that's the only way i can do it cos i am lazy too! Also, you have to do it first thing in the morning before you get up,cos your body temp changes as soon as you start moving around etc. I reckon it's the best way to go to know it you are ovulating or not. I am just having a rest from temping for this month cos it does get a bit tedious!
LizJessie - thanks! Mum's place is a nice change cos she does all the cooking etc! Meant to ask, have you got an engagement ring yet? (if yes, did you help choose it or was it a surprise?).

littlescottishboy - I've got the ring already :) It was a total surprise!It's actually his grandmothers engagement ring that was past onto my DF when she died - so I'm looking after it very well!

Firstly congratulations Shoegal and Satya sending you lots of sticky vibes.
So sorry that I haven't posting for the last 2-3 weeks weeks but I just get so fed up everytime AF turns up, I am now into my 6th cycle since my m/c and I am just really feeling that it will never happen, all my previous Belly Buddies (except Salt) have managed to get pregnant and move on and I am still stuck here forever hopeful.
Now that is off my chest, maybe I can move forward, the good thing at the moment is that I got my first ever "real" +ve OPK today I say that because I normally only ever get a line that is nearly as dark as the control line, but today's line was darker than the control line, had a fair amount of EWCM too which doesn't normally happen, so I managed to get a BD in tonight, the first time since last sunday as DH has had a really bad infected tooth and was in severe pain and definitely not up to BD'ing.
Sorry this post has been about me, hope to try and post and do more personals later.

Sharon - that's great about the pos OPK! I know how you feel about them not working, I have only had them work 2 months out of 7! And even this month when ovulation was confirmed by a CD21 progesterone test they still didn't work!!! Good luck for this month!

Hi to everyone else that I have missed, I hope you are all well.
Well I am on CD28 today of my first cycle of Clomid (50mg). I have had some horrible side effects from it in the first 2 weeks of this cycle, nausea and quite bad depression :( I had a CD21 progesterone done early last week and it had risen from 14.8 on a natural cycle to 50.9 - woohoo! My ob was really happy with that - a "very good ovulation" in his words LOL
But things have been sooo different this cycle post ovulation. My temps have been very stable since I Oed, and I have had quite sore boobies and quite a bit more CM than usual for this part of my cycle. Anyway, I gave in to temptation last Thursday (10 DPO) and did a HPT. I went away for the 5 minutes and came back and nearly died - it was a BFP!! And it was not even a faint one - I could hold it away from me and still see it easily. So I did another one using a different brand and that came up pos too. So it looks like trying to relax about things (not to mention the Clomid!) may have worked!
I am 14 DPO today and needless to say I am still a bit shocked. I would have posted earlier but I was worried about jinxing myself! It is early days yet and I am still worried that something will go wrong. I re-tested today and the line is darker though, so I am taking that as a good sign. And I still have really sore boobies, I need to go to the toilet more often and I'm quite tired. I have no idea when I should have expected AF because it was my first cycle on Clomid, so I think I'll wait until the end of the week and take myself off to the GP then I guess. I must admit though that I am still pretty stressed about it all and worried that AF will still show up late :(
It's going to be a long week, and I have to say that the testing early has not really helped LOL its just given me a few extra days to worry about what can go wrong! Oh well, that's what I get for being impatient and not waiting!
