OK well I'm feeling really emotional today because DH is getting a new job as a correction officer he's a private police officer right now away he has to go to an training academy in another part of Michigan for the job that is about 2 1/2 3 hours away I think so he will probably only be home on the weekends now he starts September 4 and it last until January I think I'm really excited and happy for him but since we met each other we have never been apart for more than two days the TTC part does not bother me that much I am just going miss him so much during the week !!!

Yes! plc, you're brilliant--it was smilanatu that makes the other honorary member of the cowgirl's club! For the life of me, I just couldn't remember! (sorry smi!) Aww, and what a sweet thing to say about me! Thanks so much, you made my day! When's your next scan? (sorry if I've already asked or you've already told me! Are you still entitled to the momnesia excuse if your kids are 14 and 7?) If not, tough, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Toccara-- I'm sorry you're feeling down and emotional... I can totally understand how much you would miss DH! That happened to DF and I once when I was pg with my 7 y/o, it lasted 2 weeks and he ended up quitting his job. (But he pretty much had to, because it conflicted with his visitation with his daughters). Anyhow, it was really tough only getting to see him on the weekends, so I can totally see where you're coming from! Will he get some extra time off for the holidays at least? You know, they say that absence makes the heart grow fonder... I bet you'll both appreciate your time together a lot more than you do now... and who knows, maybe his will be all built up and rarin' to go, so It could end up helping you conceive more quickly! That's my for you at least! Sending lots of hugs... hope you cheer up!

Thanks so much ladies, especially Jen for the messages - they really do help when you feel like there is no one else that you can talk to. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that they are all much appreciated - I was in a pretty dark place when I posted yesterday.

I'd be delighted to be your cycle buddy this month Jen actually it always seems like we are about the same stage in our cycles. I will try and motivate myself to post more this month, I just hope that things go well after last month's disaster Hopefully the new "tricks" the FS suggested will help. And if they don't, then at least it seems like DH and I may have resolved our issues with doing IVF. We are going back to the FS on the 12th Aug to get things all sorted, hopefully so that we can go straight onto it if this cycle doesn't work out. From what he said the other day, it takes at least 6 weeks to get to egg pickup and embryo transfer, so we don't want to waste any extra time than we have to.

Toccara - about your DH's new job. That is great about the job but not so good about you being apart. My DH used to travel a lot for his old job, so I know how it feels. It's not much fun at all for you, and not really for them either. My DH always liked it for a few days and then was pretty much over it.

plc - That's great that your thyroid levels are back to normal. Glad to hear things are going well.

tutmae - Great news about the blood results and that you are ovulating. Sorry about the PCOS, although at least it sounds like it won't be so much of a problem for you. If you conceived before at least you should be able to again!

Easha - Good luck at the gyno today!

Hi to anyone else that I have missed, hope you are all having a nice day

megsmum--I hope the new tricks work for you! Glad to hear you and DH have resolved any issues regarding the IVF. You're leaving no stone unturned on your quest for another precious baby--just shows how dedicated you already are to you child that's soon-to-be! Lot's of luck and even more
