smilanatu - how r u lunar buddy?
ruthie - hope ur ok.
hey to everyone else - and hugs of course. All ok here - thyroid levels are back to normal thanks to the medication (can't remember if i already told you that) - bit of a belly but it's mainly my flab of course. Not much movement but that's ok. I'm hoping my presence on this thread from time to time throws out some pg vibes and you all catch it. Here's hoping - take care. :grouphug:
Angel Babies I agree with everybody else where are you ???
larz Welcome to BB sweetie and sorry for you loss  ...

Tina Hey girl glad to hear you and your bub are doing fine ...
megsmum I sooo hope you get that BFP next month ...
OK well I'm feeling really emotional today because DH is getting a new job as a correction officer he's a private police officer right now away he has to go to an training academy in another part of Michigan for the job that is about 2 1/2 3 hours away I think so he will probably only be home on the weekends now :( he starts September 4 and it last until January I think I'm really excited and happy for him but since we met each other we have never been apart for more than two days the TTC part does not bother me that much I am just going miss him so much during the week !!! :crying:
:pink-babydust::stickyvibesgirl:
Yes! plc, you're brilliant--it was smilanatu that makes the other honorary member of the cowgirl's club! For the life of me, I just couldn't remember! (sorry smi!) Aww, and what a sweet thing to say about me! Thanks so much, you made my day! When's your next scan? (sorry if I've already asked or you've already told me! Are you still entitled to the momnesia excuse if your kids are 14 and 7?) If not, tough, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
Toccara-- :( I'm sorry you're feeling down and emotional... I can totally understand how much you would miss DH! That happened to DF and I once when I was pg with my 7 y/o, it lasted 2 weeks and he ended up quitting his job. (But he pretty much had to, because it conflicted with his visitation with his daughters). Anyhow, it was really tough only getting to see him on the weekends, so I can totally see where you're coming from! Will he get some extra time off for the holidays at least? You know, they say that absence makes the heart grow fonder... I bet you'll both appreciate your time together a lot more than you do now... and who knows, maybe his :sperm: will be all built up and rarin' to go, so It could end up helping you conceive more quickly! That's my  for you at least! Sending lots of hugs... hope you cheer up!
Thanks so much ladies, especially Jen  for the messages - they really do help when you feel like there is no one else that you can talk to. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that they are all much appreciated - I was in a pretty dark place when I posted yesterday.
I'd be delighted to be your cycle buddy this month Jen :D actually it always seems like we are about the same stage in our cycles. I will try and motivate myself to post more this month, I just hope that things go well after last month's disaster :( Hopefully the new "tricks" the FS suggested will help. And if they don't, then at least it seems like DH and I may have resolved our issues with doing IVF. We are going back to the FS on the 12th Aug to get things all sorted, hopefully so that we can go straight onto it if this cycle doesn't work out. From what he said the other day, it takes at least 6 weeks to get to egg pickup and embryo transfer, so we don't want to waste any extra time than we have to.
Toccara - about your DH's new job. That is great about the job but not so good about you being apart. My DH used to travel a lot for his old job, so I know how it feels. It's not much fun at all for you, and not really for them either. My DH always liked it for a few days and then was pretty much over it.
plc - That's great that your thyroid levels are back to normal. Glad to hear things are going well.
tutmae - Great news about the blood results and that you are ovulating. Sorry about the PCOS, although at least it sounds like it won't be so much of a problem for you. If you conceived before at least you should be able to again!
Easha - Good luck at the gyno today!
Hi to anyone else that I have missed, hope you are all having a nice day :)
megsmum--I hope the new tricks work for you! :crossfingers: Glad to hear you and DH have resolved any issues regarding the IVF. You're leaving no stone unturned on your quest for another precious baby--just shows how dedicated you already are to you child that's soon-to-be! Lot's of luck and even more

Feeling lots and lots better today. Had a temp drop, but still above coverline. Don't quite know what that means.... maybe af is on her way. Well, better for af to be on her way this month now that I'm being forced to be all healthy! Positive thinking!!
I'll get to persies this evening, got to got to work, just wanted to send you all copious amounts of  followed by generous helpings of :pink-babydust::bluedust: and :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:

I'm really going miss him but its for the best ... lol I have to keep telling myself that ...
Toccara: I know just how you feel, hon. DH and I were exactly the same, had never spent more and a day or two apart, then he went away for 2 weeks. I know it's not as bad as going away for months, but man was it hard! Stay stong hon, just imagine those weekend visits! They'll be super special!!
Jen: heehee. Glad you got the pics, or as I like to call the "my self involved ego snapshots". I'm all for promoting the coloured wedding dress. YAY!
Thanks tut I'm love all his weekend visit I know he will have something planned for us to do every weekend ...
Just PMS Angel and a major helping of Angel withdrawals! Getting ready for bed, but hoping to chat with you in the am! Will change my smilie just for you, cuz I'm SO happy you're back! Hey, did you get to see Christian the lion on Youtube? You should check him out--it's awesome! Chat soon! *kiss* *kiss* Oh, one more thing, did you see the nickname that Krystie and I made up for you? Well, she thought of it.... I just went along with it.....It's all her fault....blame it all on her meds!
Hey tut--Maybe that's a nice big implantation drop you've got goin' on there! :woot: Have you looked, did FF give you a possible dip? Hope to talk to you in the am, too!
Toccara--You'll probably be too busy :bd: every weekend!
Ok, my fellow BB-lonians... I'm off to bed! I guess I would be considered a nana if you all lived here! But the sooner I get to bed, the sooner I get to wake up and see what you've all been up to! And the sooner I get to catch up with Angel! :cheer: Nighty night! :grouphug:
Afternoon All,
Jen - wanted to ask whether you were effected by the earthquake - it was in California wasn't it.... you obviously ok though
Ruthie - would love some heat right about now. Syd is about ave 15-17degrees which is about 60 degrees (converters on the net are great). Better get used to the cold very quickly as I go skiing tomorrow and it is about 0 degrees (26 degrees) bbbbrrrrr
PLC - great to hear from you and glad bubs is growing nicely... will have to find your photos, were do I go??
Tocorra - sorry to hear DH is away... means you can spend more time on BB though and the house might be spotless whilst he is away (in my case it would be - messy DH), eat your fav food, watch the TV shows you want to watch  there are some perks... jump online when your lonely - we'll be here
AFM - saw the gyno today - lovely, upbeat man. He wants see another charted cycle before doing anything (only 1 mth so far). He has concerns that my temp rise after OV is sluggish as it should shoot up every day for atleast the first 4, mine evens out before going up again. He also thinks that given I have lost 13kgs over the past 4-6 mths this has effected things as well so he wants me to stabilse now.
Overall he has told me to stop obsessing.... he thought I knew too much and should stay away from the internet.... gees I have really taken his advise seriousy in this area
Darling DH turned up for the appt as well (didn't think he wanted to come) and got the interrogative questions as well.
So next steps..... I have to go back to see him if/when AF arrives... I think he wants to check whether their was Ov, dont know how he is going to check this maybe an AF sample... I will then also have 2 cycles to compare. Then if dont fall again he wants to do a post coital test - where DH and I have to BD and then the gyno takes a sample from me to test whether my body is drawing up the sperm or killing it and also check sperm health
Atleast he didn't say come back in 6 mths...
I'll be back tonight....have to pack for skiing
Nickname... NIckname... I didnt see an nickname... OK... what is it
Snitch,...... Snitch..... Kirstie is that the best you can come up with... goodness me.... maybe you should have a few more of your pills but this time try the colourful ones.... it might help with your imagination a bit more :p
Good morning ladies! I tried three times to post last night around 10pm my time...each time I got my nice juicy stuff writen the computer/site crashed...I was stomping my feet and had a tantrum...finally said @!#* it and went to bed...
I rather enjoy riding backwards in the saddle...YEE HAW!!! ;)
plc...I am simply wonderful! I am so happy your thyroid is back to normal! How are you and bub going? Any news on sex yet...do you wanna know...do you care? Anyway I am tickled pink you are not stressed and diong well!
Angel babies! At long last you've returned!
AFM...:2ww: 8 or 9 DPO...
:pink-babydust::bluedust:
:stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
Catch that :sperm:
Paul did his semen test this morning bless him, now waiting for results.
Smi: You and I are cycle buddies! YAY!!! When are you going to test?
Rachel: How long do you have to wait for the results??
Only 3 posts all night long???????? What's going on around here--was everyone in the chat room all night, or what? What's the sitch, girls? How can my day begin properly with only 3 posts to read??? :p
JEN!!! Ok, here's something to keep you occupied. I was just going through my test results and saw that my progesterone level had jusmped from 4 to 32.... Do you think this could be an early indication of a little bean?? Hmmmm....
Scratch that, apparently it means nothing at all.... damn 2ww.
tutmae...:cheer: we are cycle buddies! What day are you on? I am trying not to test this time...when will you test?
jen...I think something was up with the site last night...I tried posting several times and finally got frustrated and went to bed.
Good morning smilanatu! Ok, I guess that's a pretty good excuse for no posts.... I'll let it slide, but just this ONCE!! When are you going to test, have you decided? Or are you waiting it out to see if BFMFFFF shows? Sorry, a new acronym that Krystie made up: Bumfluffmonkey fatty fatty fat face (better known as AF or AB!)
tut (toot)--Sounds like a train! I'm watching for your temps to go up--if so, then I think definite implantation dip for yesterday! I'm :crossfingers: for you! That would be Sweeeet!
Easha--How sweet of you to ask about me feeling the earthquake! Thankfully, no, I didn't even feel the earthquake! We were a little nervous for DF's g-ma that lives down there, but she said she didn't feel it either! Believe it or not, I've only felt 1 earthquake in my whole life, and I'm a California native, so that's a good sign! But they say the big one is coming.... of course, they've been saying that since I was a kid! But I'm not looking forward to it--especially living right on the coast, we're barely above sea level here! That's a big part of why we want to move to New Mexico--to get away from the coastline. We're kinda weird people, paranoid some may say.... lots of reading up on 2012 when the Mayan calendar comes to an end  We plan on being far away from the coast in Dec. 2012....ok, no more talk about that!
Hey Rachel, I don't know how or when I missed your post! Hope things are ok with DH's :sperm: I hope he gave them a good pep talk before the test! Did you get to help him produce his sample?
Easha--Forgot to tell you that I hope you have a great time skiing! I've never been--probably not coordinated enough! I'm not a very graceful person! Hope you have a fun trip, we'll miss you!
p.s. Oh, and I think you get a BT to tell if you've O'ed!
jen...you've won my interest...what's the deal with 2012?
I am trying to hold out this time for testing...with the price of gas I don't need to waste money on EPTs...
smilanatu--Lots of info if you google it... just put in 2012...or maybe even end of Mayan calendar--but I think 2012 will work just fine.
Our gas is finally going down--only $4.25/gal. (only?)
Wow jen...interesting...I had never heard of it...
BTW...our gas is $3.789/gal
Hey smi--Just ran downtown, and gas went down $.08! It's $4.17 now--which I thought was really good until I saw yours for $3.78!! :p
smi--Hey, on that 2012 thing.... I used to think DF was a little coo koo (but don't tell him that! :shhh:) but they even talk about on the Discovery Channel now! Lot's of astrologers, historians, etc...they're starting to talk about it a lot more now! It's a little scary! Ooh, maybe I should've PM'd that (sorry to mods...just in case! :dunno:)
Hey katiegirl--In case you're lurking, it was great chatting with you this am!
:hello: Ruthie--How goes it mama? :stickyvibesgirl:
joey--I know you're at camp, but thinking about you! Hope you're having fun and the kids aren't driving you crazy! lol...
WTH-- Hope you're enjoying your time with your family!
Hey jenushka! Haven't heard from you in a while... hope all is well with you! :stickyvibesgirl:
tina & plc-- And, of course, some for both of you.... :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy:
I know Van and issy are on a break, but always thinking of you both! :grouphug:
:hello: megsmum! Hope things are continuing to look up for you!
Hi's and  to Toccara, pbstar, and chappas! ;)
For those I've missed, you're thought of nonetheless! :grouphug:
mollycat--Hey, hon! Did you ever make a decision about breeding your dog? Are you going to be a puppy grandma? One of these nights you really have to stay up and chat with us! It's a little confusing, but so much fun! :pink-babydust: :pink-babydust:
FF has given me open circles on my chart... I'm assuming it's because my temps are higher than usual during AF...not really sure why that is. I've been waking a lot between 4-5:45 am, but that should only make my temps lower, not higher! Does anyone know how long the batteries usually last in a BD thermometer? I've only used mine for about 2 mo's, so I wouldn't think the batteries were dying already! Any of you girls had this problem with your thermometers? Thanks... I think FF is messing with me already! This better not be a sign of things to come.... Grr!
Those batteries should last a long while if they are like regular digital thermometers...heck I aint changed the batteries in mine in like a couple of years...granted I'm not using it daily though :dunno:
FF always messes with you jen!
I am going gambling this evening...wish me luck!
Ooh, win big for me smi! Have fun gambling!
And yes, I know, FF always messes with me! :p What up with that?
He had no pep talk before hand. Here in the UK they no longer offer 'rooms'.. they ask you to drop it off within 1 hour of producing sample and keep it warm. So half way to the hospital (as its 50 mins from us in the car) is my parents house, who happen to be in Africa right now.. so...
We went to my folks, sorted out their cat who we are looking after and then went to my old room lol... I gave him a hand rofl... it was pretty easy. We then kept it warm and dropped it off... wonder when they will be in touch with results, prob not till Tues when I am in theatre.
Hi Jen - decided to let the doggy bd'ing go this time. I just think it's too close to losing Kelly to make the right decision. Don't know whether I really want to get another dog, and I'd have to argue with DS1 who wants a boy dog (and I don't like boy dogs, especially with all the day care toys in my yard). So we now wait another six months for her to come into season again, and we'll probably breed her then. We sold all her pups last time, but I know that this time we would keep one. I'd love to stay up and chat, just don't know if this old nanna would be able to stay awake long enough. Bedtimes usually between 8.30pm and 9pm, cause the alarm goes off at 5am. I was wondering if you'd felt the earthquake, that's good that you didn't. You don't need to be close to that. We had one here about 15 years ago (actually we've had two, but I wasn't living here when the first one hit). It was quite scary, we were living in a caravan in the in-laws yard, and the whole thing rolled (not over - just like a wave), I didn't know what was happening.
I'll have to try for Saturday night. DH is going to a boys night with his mates (out at his mates shed) - I make him stay overnight, only cause I refuse to go and collect him in the middle of the night when he's had too much to drink.
Joey - Hope you had a great time at camp with the kids and they didn't give you too hard a time.
:stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl: to all our pg friends. :bellyrubs:
:bluedust::pink-babydust: for the TTC'ers. I'd better get back to work. Mr 4 is tormenting Miss 2 (his sister), I'll have to find a distraction.
