TTC after Miscarriage or Loss ~ July 08 #7

jenushka.... looks like time will also give you a new OB..... My experience with my FS was just the worst. But I was new to IVF and knew no different that what he was telling me. I have learnt so much since my MC that I feel sorry for my next FS. I had Terry Sheehan strongly recommeded to me by my Accupunturist/Herbalist. She also knew my previous FS and knows EVERYTHING that happened. Terry Sheehan is on the North side of Brisbane. I have had to wait to get in there but if he is as wonderful as I ve been told then I will wait... my other FS was a monster.

The big thing I have learnt... change. There is no way in hell i would ever return to this other FS other than to abuse him, and even that he is not worth my effort. If you dont like how you are treated... leave... if you dont like their lack of compassion... leave... if you dont like bloody anything.. leave..... use this time to research ... speak to other people on here that are in Brisbane and ask who they see.... but dont... dont be where you arent happy.

Easha - Hope you're having a ball skiing! I've never been skiing before. Actually, I've only ever seen snow once in my life and I was too young to actually remember it. I'd like to go to the snow, but at the same time I realllllly hate the cold...

Jen - Think yourself lucky. I just did the conversions (from litre to gallon and from AU to US dollars) and it works out that I am paying $5.35US per gallon over here :( Plus, that's after it went DOWN recently!

Rachel - No word about the test results at all? I laughed when I read you went to your old bedroom at your parents house, lol.

Pbstar - How did your day go today? I was thinking of you and hoping that you were coping ok. Did you do anything special? :hug:

Just popped in to say hi. I pop in every now and then to see how everyone is going. I just find it so difficult keeping up with everyone, working full-time and having a 2yr old takes most of my time (& I can't get on at work). I do think of you all often.

Jenushka- I just wanted to send you a huge :hug:. I am so sorry you are feeling such pain at the moment.

AFM- 6DPO & feeling lots of symptoms. However I did the last 2 months as well:(. I will test next Sunday. Once again, will be devastated with a bfn & petrified with a feint pos.I try really hard to keep postive, but it is way too hard.

tut.... well it looks crystal clear to me... the only thing I would ask is what brand is the test...... having said that, my test with DS (now nearly 17) was the faintest of faintest things... if the actual brand has nothing to do with anything I would say... big thank you to everyone for the kind words and support about today being my angel's edd. has been a very emotional day in more ways than one (having issues with my mum) and have had a major big ugly cry. feel heaps better and glad it is out of my system. :hug: to all of you and thanks again for being here for me.

Just a quick question...anyone got ideas as to why I am experiencing the pink wipe 2 -3 days before AF...nothing in my panties and not every time...maybe once (like Friday) and nothing else...every time it makes me think AF is on the way then nothing more for several days till she officially shows...hmm...

Smilanatu - Do you think it could be implantation bleeding. I had that with my last one, about 5 days before AF was due, thought it was AF on her way :pray:. We'll wait and see.

Jen - I'm still here, just pondering life's many questions, wondering where I go from here. DH doesn't want me back on tamoxifen and the PCOS seems to be taking hold with a few of its symptoms, so we're trying to work out how much longer to TTC before we start with treatment for the PCOS, which includes the birth control pill. I didn't either bother with the day 21 blood test this month (to see if I O), obviously I did, but don't know what my levels are (last months were great and I still didn't fall pg).

I've also got re-registration (for day care) coming up this Wednesday, so have been making sure my house meets all its safety standards (this is the first one since the extension). I had my field worker come out and have a look around for anything she could see out of place and I heard through my sister in law (the one that does day care too) that the field worker thinks I have too many toys (DH agrees) out for the kids and too many tables, I have two that the children use (one for meals and one for drawing/puzzles etc). I'm a bit annoyed that she didn't tell me directly, and I'll be letting her know that. As for toys, the children need to be able to choose, I don't think I have too many (a few dolls, trucks, blocks, train set, various toys in a box, books, dress ups) .

I tried to stay up last night to join you guys on chat - but the old nanna eyes just couldn't do it. By 9.30pm I was in bed, sound asleep, I don't even know what time the boys went to bed, I told them not to stay up too late and went to bed myself.

Angel - Love the look of the cake - can't say what it tasted like seeing as though Jen ate the lot (greedy guts).

PBstar - sorry for your yucky day. I think we all need those now and then. I know I've had one or two. Had to laugh at Angel's version

I don't think it's implantation bleeding (remember I DID think that a couple of months ago) because it has been a regular occurrence for the past 3 months...I wouldn't even call it spotting...just more of a smudge when I wipe one or two times and it's light pink...weird :dunno:

smilanatu--OK, so yay for no AF so far.... I :dunno: about the recurrent spotting a few days before AF. It does occasionally happen with me a day or two before, but other than that, typically I'll spot the day of AF, or the night before she shows. So did you win big? Going to share with the needy....and the greedy? :lol:




Toccara--Aww, you were looking for me, too? :doh: I'm sorry! I was actually on earlier that morning chatting, but ended up logging off early once everyone else went to bed Had a bad morning, so took DS to the park and ran some errands to get out of the house. Was in such a bad mood, I didn't feel there was any way I could get on and try to pretend like I was happy, and I was in no way useful to anyone! So then we rented "10,000 b.c." and watched that....

But don't worry, no more MIA... you can't get rid of me that easily! :lol:
