Littlescottishboy-- how long had you taken the Vitex before your cycle shifted to O at CD14? My charts-- particularly the first half of the cycle-- have looked a little wonky since I started taking it. The last LP was longer, though, which is what I was going for.
Littlescottishboy- It is nice to know I have company. Already I am trying to decide if my boobs are sore . only time will tell.
Lizjessie-Please tell me how you resist testing. I am very impatient and would test now if I could.

Thanks everybody soooooo much!!! I should remove my ticker because I am not completely going by that. Because my AF was late last month I want to hold out until the 29th or 30th give or take a couple days just in case. I had little to none CM this month and so I am not sure if thats a good sign ovulation wise BUT then again I had lots in Aug. and we didn't quite make it so I guess I shouldn't look at that as much. :) Anyways :pray: for everyone!
Satya~ Its awesome that you know all the right steps to make sure your taken care of cuz financially its important he can't "accidentally" abuse anything in your name or whatever. I am just so sorry for the stress, you definately deserve to spoil yourself a little bit if given the chance.
I hope the tww just flies by for everybody waiting has made me so annoyed. I wish I could test in 3 days!

Satya - big hugs to you, but I know for sure you have done the right thing. You sound good, but I'm sure will have your moments for some time. I firmly believe the best way to "get over" someone is to be with someone else........ so you get yourself out there girl and keep open to finding Mr Right - who hopefully has damm fine "little Mr rights's" too!! Pash - thanks for thinking of me. How on earth are you? You can't help but wonder what the hell is going on when one crappy thing after another happens. Did you get your MRI results yet? Hang in there Pash, things can surely only improve. My little boys Crab Apple tree is gorgeous - it has leaves on it now, and the seedlings (flowers) I planted at it's base are growing quickly. It was the first thing I went to look at after flying back home yesterday, and it got a very loving water from me too :( :)

As for me, it's nearly 6 weeks since my D&C - finally stopped spotting one week ago, during which time I had heaps of CM. Haven't missed a beat with BDing. No sign of AF. Sore bb's. I think I could be pregnant again, but not really game to test, it's pretty soon after d&c, but I know it is possible. I have to see my OB on Monday, so will get him to check me over then. Unless of course I buy a HPT when I do the shopping later :rolleyes:

I had the d & c 6th august. still waiting for the AF to come, this last few days, i have had slight twinges in my stomach, and today I feel like I have a fullness. Geez, my CM is all over the shot, today a creamy blob, yesterday I thought little ewcm, but this seems to change everyday. So, who knows, I am not temping but i wish AF would hurry up and come or (please god!!) give me a BFP (by the way did one yesterday - suprise suprise a BFN!!!!) Oh well.
Jayney - I've just not got the money - but I found that I've got $8 in the bank and I'm sure that I'll be able to get a test with that.. The money situation is the only reason I've been able to resist
Shoegal - Hiya! How's pregnancy treating you?? I remember when you were in the TTC and you were so excited when you found out you were!
As for me - I'll be testing a little bit later on.. It's late night shopping tonight and as far as I know, DF isn't going to poker tonight, and I will be testing either before or during - so as soon as I come online afterwards I'll let everyone know

I haven't been in here for a few weeks....trying to get my head around moving, DD being very sick with Bronchiolitis and DH starting his new job which entails travelling at least 2 weeks a month.
I really will try and do personals soon....;)
I got AF after an 86 day wait after my d&c, so we are now on CD11 and after doing OPK's for the last couple of days it seems like I should be in my O time nowish and DH is in Perth....:doh::doh::doh::doh::doh: We will still give it a good go on the weekend when he comes back but I would think that we have missed this months eggy. :wall::wall:
Oh well, what can you do. I hope that those of you in the TWW get your BFP's this month!

Have NT scan and first OB appt tomorrow, have had lots of different emotions during this pregnancy so am anticipating tomorrow, both excited and nervous. Had to go on progesterone to sustain the pregnancy but am off that now.

I'm really annoyed today as I got the invoice in the mail today for the karyotyping test that I got done a couple of weeks before I started to suspect something was up with my ex. $440. I am going to have to pay it on my credit card before I can claim it through medicare and I will then be out of pocket around $100. I didn't want the test in the first place but the gyno said it was the next step in the process and now there's no point even finding out what the results were.... and to do so will cost me another $65 after claiming it so I just wont bother. Such a waste. Still waiting for the invoice for all the other BT's I had done that day. If only I'd waited another couple of weeks.
Satya - thats a true bummer having to pay bills that are no longer relevant. I received a $500+ bill for all the testing I had to get done, weeks after my pregnancy ended and it p--ssed me off to have to pay for it all :(
Well I did a hpt and it was negative. Not too worried, as I really don't know where I am in my cycle till AF shows up properly, guess I just have to do what we are all so good at - WAIT :rolleyes: blah blah blah I say!
LJ - am stalking to see how your test went, got it all crossed for you!
Don't know if anyone caught Catalyst just now on ABC - but an interesting piece on male infertility - you could probably check out their webpage. New antioxidant medication have doubled the chance of pregnancy by men who have experienced infertility issues. No side effects, it's basically natural. 50% of coulples who did the trial fell pregnant quickly (and they had major trouble falling naturally before). All good news.

Satya, I agree with you that the Maybe Baby doesn't work well. I don't know WHY I bother at all, it just adds to the confusion...

Hi Penny, thanks for asking. NT scan went really well, 1:13918 so very pleased with that. Scan was amazing, I bawled the whole way through. Very hard for sonographer to do a scan when I am hic-cupping all the time.:

Crap! I was just cruising along, getting ready to enter my fertile phase in my stupidly-long cycle. I was expecting ovulation Tuesday or Thursday of next week, but thinking that Vitex might move it up a bit. Let me emphasize that: A BIT. But as I entered my last two temps, FF just gave me a solid coverline last Wednesday. EEE!
I’m thinking that this might be one of those months with the “Your new data input has modified your pattern enough for Fertility Friend to re-assess your interpretation” message (it happens a lot for me), but still, it’s thrown me for a whirl. I’ve had only negative OPKs and none of the other typical signs, so I think there is a good chance I’ll ovulate later, but I’m more struck by how much my heart sank (not just into my stomach; it felt like it created crater beneath the floor). I’m normally fairly laid back, but TTC is making me crazy. I’m starting to wonder if this is one of those things that I have to stop thinking about so much about before it will happen for me.
This whole journey for me has been an exercise in control… or, rather, how much control I lack over what my body does. I have some long term issues there, demons that have been well-behaved for many years now after years of struggling to understand them, beat them into submission, exorcise them. Maybe instead of thinking less about this, I need to scratch off some scabs and dig back into the psychological issues? Argh.
Maybe I should just sleep on it and see what tomorrow’s temp is like. Perhaps I need to re-assess my own interpretation.

Mammal - I know how you feel :hug: Sometimes I am ready to throw the whole temping and testing thing in... But then I feel even less in the loop of what's going on in my body.

Im abit confused - im either 4 or 6 DPO because last af came two days early and the opk put my ovulation two days early this cycle, so i dont know whats doing..... I wouldnt say i have sore BB but i get a funny sensation in them every now and then. I had some mild stabbing type pain in my lower side abdo this morning that lasted about half an hour, and a cracken headache for the last two days....and are these three little symptoms doing my head in......MOST DEFINATLY. How does one stop reading into every little sign ??? please let me know if you find the answer.
Mammal - Sorry its all doing your head in....i tried to do the temping thing but i could never remember to take it until i had already gotten up. doh !! I just used OPK for the first time and im just checking cm and hoping this will be enough.... good luck sweety, try not to stress too much.

I’m feeling a bit more together today. It’s pretty clear that I did ovulate, but I still think FF is a day or two off. If so, hope is not lost for this cycle. I guess I’ll just have to wait for two weeks to find out. I keep reminding myself that patience and flexibility are requirements of parenthood, so I’m just honing my skills!
I’m still shocked that Vitex shifted my cycle so quickly. I wonder if that’s a good thing, though, since I didn’t have a detectable LH surge. Maybe it just shifted some of the hormones and not others? I have to laugh that I was feeling so out of control when it was actually the result of something I did to my body. It wasn’t that the results were unpredictable, just that I didn’t believe the prediction would apply to me.
Mammal - sorry i haven't been on here to get back to you earlier about the Vitex. Yes, it did wonders for me! It only took a month this time around after my recent miscarriage and then the next month (this month) my O time had shifter five days earlier, which was great! I took it initially after two miscarriages and then five more months of trying for my son, then took Vitex for one month (June 2005) and fell preg that month with little Angus!!! So i am hoping for some more good things to come from my little bottle of Vitex soon!
Quick question on the Vitex - does anyone know, are you meant to stop taking it like "cold turkey" if you find out you are pregnant? Or are you meant to keep taking it and slowly drop off over a week or so? (Can't remember what i did during Angus' pregnancy).

My news- -none really! AF is due on Thursday. I have been getting pseudo-pregnancy symptoms, like major hunger and tiredness and kinda sore BB and very grumpy sometimes. Could be PG but also could be just my brain wishing so much to be PG!!! Will let you know what happens over the next week or so - fingers crossed!

I'm feeling really sad today. I realised I would have exactly 8 weeks to go until my due date had the first miscarriage this year not happened. I should have a big belly now. It only dawned on me when I heard that a work colleague is due Boxing Day. I then sat down and worked it out... 8 weeks to the day. I was sitting at my desk with tears rolling down my face. Then the abusive phone calls started from my ex. That only made me feel worse. Not only do I have to deal with this due date coming up but I also have to deal with the fact that I am not going to be having any children at all whilst dealing with a psycho ex. I'm 41 now, there is not enough time for me to meet someone, fall in love, get secure enough in a relationship to have a child and then go through more miscarriages until I get a successful pregnancy (50/50 chance at my age). It hit me like a ton of bricks.
I'm not sure what would have been harder - being pregnant and going through all this drama with the ex or not being pregnant. At least this way I have a chance of keeping my house. If I was still pregnant I would have to sell up and leave my job and go on benefits and I would never be able to cut the ties with the ex. OK, there's the silver lining, this way I don't ever have to have anything to do with him once he collects his furniture. That makes me feel somewhat better.
Sorry for the selfish post ladies.
Satya honey, it's not a selfish post. You're having a tough time at the moment, and you're going through a stage where you have work out a new reality for yourself, it's not easy. It is perfectly understandable that there are going to be times when you need to cry, and really need to cocoon yourself and find calm, and comfort and hopefully, some peace.
Post 'selfish posts' anytime. We're all here to support one another, especially at times like this. Hugs to you.

Oh and just to make my day even better I just got some evil stomach cramps. TMI warning. Rushed to the loo to see if going number 2 would fix the pain, it did but I had bleeding in both spots if you know what I mean. It's only CD22 so it would be way early for AF, particularly seeing I don't think it happened until CD17 this cycle which means I'm not due for at least a week. Pain's gone, bleeding seems to have as well. This cycle is just getting weirder and weirder. Does it warrant a visit to the docs or am I just being paranoid.
Satya - Just wanted to drop in and give you some :hugs: We have all felt the need to have a selfish post in here, at least you know we all understand where you are coming from and we never mind.
Maybe see how the stomach cramps and spotting is going tomorrow, and if still around - check it out with the dr, to make sure all is ok.

I'm very happy today!! I went for my 6 week ob appointment yesterday. Everything has healed and is "normal". He said my AF would generally show up at 6 weeks. Got home from the appointment, to my happy surprise there was AF, 6 weeks to the day since d&c. And today, she's gearing up to full flow - yuck - as I think it will be a very heavy one. Have just stocked up on essential items and plan a couple of quiet days around home. Anyway, at least now I know where I'm at, and in 2 weeks time, we can really have another crack at it, so to speak.
So, I'm even looking forward to being in the dreaded 2ww.

Well im having some slight sypmtoms (symptoms of what i dont know) I normally go for a walk with a friend every tuesday and thursday morning. Its a long walk - about 1.5 hours, up and down hills pushing the pram. Normally when i come home, i get stuck into the house work. Today i got home and felt the need to lay down, as soon as i did that i fell asleep. I was exhausted !! Luckily the kids just watched a movie, cause i wasnt waking up for anyone !! Slightly tingly BB every now and then and the weekend headache that only left monday. Of course i could be just getting the flu or some other dreaded bug but i dont know......mmmmm 6dpo and im already driving myself batty.... :wall: bought 2 more hpt today because i just know i wont hold out with the one i have left from last month.
Will have to order some more from LC if i dont get a BFP this month. !! :crying:

I had a little more cramping this morning (not as bad) but it's stopped now. Also had some brown spotting this morning which has stopped.
Just had another BM & once again I have bleeding. Definitely only from the vag. I've read that you can have this happen with endo & also with pregnancy. I have done a couple of HPTs over the last few weeks seeing I've had such an odd cycle (and have had sore BB's on and off) but they were BFN's. Have been a little unsure if I should still have the lap but with this going on I guess I should get it done just in case something is wrong in there.
Treelo - I hope they are pg symptoms.
Lee - glad AF arrived.
Jayney - My estrogen levels were also high both times I had them tested but my gyno said that wasn't an issue. I don't remember what my levels were but they were off the usual scale, that much I do remember.
Hi girls...selfish post coming. have had an extremely emotional day. Got to sleep at 2am last night, and up again at 4:30am. Went down to Melbourne at 5am with my dad to pick up younger sister, she's coming home for her birthday. Felt slight crampiness, and thought I felt blood coming out..so went to the toilet..but just regular cm.
Got back home around 4:30pm, went to the toilet and did a hpt, seeing as it'd been a few hours now since I peed, and hadn't drunk a lot today. When I wiped, I noticed a few streaks of red blood, and some pinkish mucus. Was crushed, and HPT was negative. Went and lied down on bed, and waited for Dh to come home..started crying :(
When he got home, I told him about the test, and what looked like the start of AF. He gave me hugs, and kisses and told me he wants to try again next month. If I were to fall pg next cycle, I'd be due just 3 weeks or so before BIL's wedding in England. I don't feel right missing BIL's wedding 'through choice', and I really think 3 weeks is too young to take a baby overseas. Any sort of complications could occur, BFing might take time to get establilshed, etc.
I asked DH why he wanted to try again, and he said that he really really wants it now, just a feeling he can't explain, thinks it might have something to do with seeing me hold one of our friend's 6 month old baby on the weekend, and holding the baby himself. I asked him why he wasn't so enthusiastic 2 weeks ago when I was ovulating. We still BDed around the right time, but not everyday, and not in the mornings, when it's meant to be better. He said he knew he didn't give it his best shot this cycle, but really really wants to try again this cycle..and will miss his brother's wedding if I do fall pg. I said I wasn't sure how I felt about that. I was just so upset because if I fell pg this cycle, timing would have been great..just all would have been spot on.
I got up and went to the toilet again..and no more blood or pink mucus. Not sure if it's just AF slow in starting..or if it's not Af or what now. Had another look at HPT, and compared it with the positive one from when I was last pg. Now I swear I can see a very tiny, faint as faint line in the same palce as the strong positive line from the last one. Dh says he can see the 'shadow' I'm talking about, but isn't sure it means anything.
So now I kind of have some hope again, but am sure I'm just going to be let down again!
My abdomen feels tight and swollen, but not AF crampy. Just..little niggles.
What do you girls think?
Going to wait a few days, and if AF doesn't come properly by Friday evening, will test again I suppose.

Lisa - good idea to see what happens by Friday. You need to be careful about looking at HPT's after the time limit as many of them can have lines on them where they weren't before and when that happens they don't mean a thing - it is just an evaporation line. Then again testing in the afternoon hardly ever works for anyone. If you do get the chance to test on Friday make sure you do it with FMU.

Temp dropped since my last post, and I had a positive OPK, so I think I freaked out for nothing. Looks like Vitex didn’t shift my cycle so much afterall!
Mammal- unfortunatly not I m/c at 4 weeks 2 days so I don't imagine the levels were high and I had a full cycle before the test.

I haven't been here for a while and sorry for lack of personals, but i have a question. D&C was 5 and a half weeks ago and no AF as yet but i haven't ovulated yet either - only thick CM no EWCM or Clear CM - does any one else have any idea what could be going on? or has this happened to any of you??
Leila—AF took six weeks to show after m/c for me, and from what I’ve heard on here, I was pretty lucky.
Jayney—Not sure on this one, but it certainly sounds like it could be an answer to the question of why you’ve experienced several miscarriages. Did your doc propose any solutions for rebalancing the hormones?
My Dr. said there wasn't any treatment. Just that it is(can be) a marker for decreased ovarian reserve. She said that if I wasn't preg in two months or if I mc again she would send be to a specialist. So I wait.
I have sore boobs and I tested yesterday neg. but it was likely too early anyway.
In my reading on the net it seems like rebalancing isn't the issue. It sounds like the estrogen is high to compensate for decreased reserves. So dropping the estrogen might not change anything.
I'll likely test tomorrow morning so :pray:
