Thank you everyone, im sure tomorrow will be a better day.
Before i was just sad, now im just plain angry. My friend rang me before and told me that her 18 year old daughter has gotten pregnant just to spite her ex. She has gotten pregnant to her ex's best friend. And just to top it off, my DH says he doesnt know why im so upset??? he says at least i have two, and that i shouldnt be so selfish????????? Just when i was starting to think that he knew how important this was to me???

Hi everyone - Hows things?
Treelo- So sorry AF arrived, but drink (I mean think - talk about freudian slip ). You can enjoy a couple of well deserved wines to celebrate your birthday, and while you're at it get stuck into some brie, maccas soft serve ice cream a ham sandwich and all those other soon to be forbidden treats. Maybe not all at once perhaps! Sorry DH is being insensitive, Im sure he doesnt mean anything by it, but like most men, they think in a different (slightly alien) way. They just dont get it do they? BTW I think it's pretty normal to have odd cycles after MC. Mine actually went the other way, regular after being skatty.
Starrysky- Hi Chick. Glad you're finally in TWW, hope it passes quickly for you. I spose Im there too, but Im hoping if I ignore it, it will go quicker. wishful thinking perhaps? Glad you're well..
Bw- Howdy. Cant help with the questions about O, and hormones etc. Im pretty feral most of the time, so I cant really say there's a major change ;)
Satya - Hows things? So proud of the way you're handling this s%$#y situation with your ex. Classy.
To everyone else, I havent forgotten you. Hoping youre all great and this cycle is the ONE! BFPS all round I say! :D

Hi everyone just trying to catch up a bit
Treelo: so sorry af showed up :( try and have a nice Birthday anyhow eh! I understand why you were upset about that girl getting Pg out of spite I would be too,Babies have no say about how or why they are bought into this world and I feel sorry for it having a start like that espescially as it seems common knowledge that's why she did it.....I'm sure next month will be your turn for a BFP though! :) so hang in there.
Satya: good on you for standing your ground with your ex and lucky he has an honest supportive family to help keep you informed and strong!
Beaksie: How you doing I haven't read all past posts (too many) so where are you up too this month.....? hopefully waiting to test?
As for me well I am 10DPO and have started getting alot of the signs I got before the 1st M/C....I am very irritable this week, feeling tired again, and my boobs have very prominent Dark veins (does anyone else get that) I really noticed them last night after my shower and the weird thing is I feel different my tummy has been feeling weird can't describe it really.....hopefully it's not all wishful thinking and i haven't become a master of phantom pregnancy hahaha!
on another note I was scrolling through a celebrity baby blog and reading what Penelope Cruz bought Salma hyak for her new bub and I went to the site.....is all I can say is "I want one" hahaha it's a fresco contempory baby chair....check it out at bloombaby if you click on collections you'll find it you can apparently get them in oz too!
anyhow gotta go sort the kids lunch, Hi to everyone I missed fingers crossed for some more BFP announcements soon :)
Take care everyone!
-
HI Dawnee- Hows it going? Gotta love those symptoms eh? I always get those dark veins before a BFP too, but the last couple of cycles Ive also had them just before AF?? Madness. No wonder we're all a bit crazy in here(lol) !!
Im at about day 20 today, but have absolutely no idea if or even when I o'd this month. Very frustrating. However - looking at my diary, we should have got the timing right if it DID happen, cause we put in a mammoth effort and Bd on day 10,13,14,15,17,18,19. Thats 7 out of the last 10 days. If thats not enough, I think ill give up!! Unfortunately it's the dreaded TWW and only time will tell. Dawnee - When will you test?
Hi Satya, Starrysky, Treelo, BW and all the rest of you lovely chickies ! Hope you have a great day!
-
Hello puppies, sorry have not been in here for a while.
Satya - you go girl! You have been handling this all so well. Sucked in to your ex for treating you so badly cos he now misses out on a super chick! Glad his family are on your side through all this.
Treelo - so sorry AF came hun. It sucks and i feel the same! Have a beautiful birthday tomorrow though, and as Beaksie said, get stuck into the vino! And sorry your DH is being so unhelpful. It must be a male thing. They have no idea.
Beaksie - wow, what a mammoth effort indeed! Here's hoping you get a lovely reward in two weeks time.
Dawneee - certainly sounds promising! Hope you get a BFP this cycle hun.
Butterfly Warrior - thank you so much for all your info about your journey - you are so brave and focussed and i truly hope you get your little bundle of joy very soon. You really deserve it. Thanks for joining our thread and it's so lovely to 'meet' you!
MissBelinda - how did u find out you needed Clomid? Did you still get ovulation singns (eg. charting) or was there some other way they knew you needed it? Also, is there a thread about using Clomid? (I think that is our next step).
HI StarrySky, LizJessie and everyone else I've missed.
Am thinking i might also join the long-term TTCAML thread as well as it has now been 12 months of trying for us (including the recent m/c). We are seeing a fertility specialist in about 3 weeks (earliest we could get in!). So am hoping for some answers.
I am on holidays at the moment and am LOVING not being at work! I wish i could pause time today and never have to go back to work! Hehe. Have a good day everyone.
-
Just popping in to say hello to everyone - I dunno where I am and the such so I'll just say hi and hope to catch up with you all soon :)
-
littlescottishboy - There is another thread on here called something like TTC w/clomid. I have PCOS and had been trying for 2.5yrs unsuccessfully. Before I started on it, I had some progesterone BT's to try and pinpoint where I was ovulating - and that was unsuccessful, so I started on 50mg of Clomid, had the same BT's and they said it was working. It then took us 5mths before we conceived on it, which was disappointing, because I assumed once I was on it, it would work 1st go - which it can, but didn't happen in our case. It has also shortened my cycles, and I ovulate earlier now, as well. Good luck with the FS.
Hi to everyone else!
-
Hey again, Beaksie I know what you mean with the signs.....I think I'll try wait to test till Saturday? haven't even got any HPT'S in the house :) so that helps hahaha! although I do think Friday may be an option too he!he!he!
Hi littlescottishboy: hope all is well with you too :)
anyhow this is only a quickie as I now have to cook Dinner......
Chat soon then...take care everyone!
Oh and does anyone know why I can't change my little mood icon? I click on it the list drops down but won't change :( as I am Not Sad at the moment.......:)

So much going on in here!
BW—no anxiety around O time for me, but the progesterone in that first week after ovulation throws me for a turn. I get tired, depressed, nauseous, and spotty. In a way, though, I’m grateful that it happens so early on, before I can interpret them as positive signs.
Dawnee, Beaksie and Starrysky—glad I have some company for the TWW. Fingers crossed.
6DPO for me. Having some mild cramping, but I’ve been travelling for work for the past few days and that tends to happen because I don’t eat as well (okay, I admit it, I ate utter crap). So who knows, maybe it’s a sign, maybe pure coincidence.
Hiya to LJ, LSB, Satya, and everyone I missed!

Hello everyone, just wanted to ask a quick question. I had been on clomid for 4 months, and it helped me to ovulate but not to fall pg. Before the clomid my cycle had been mostly normal approx 28 days but had started to shorten to about 21 for the two months before I was prescribed the clomid (fs thought the shorten cycle meant I wasn't ovulating).
So this past month (our last go before starting a full ivf cycle) I haven't had the clomid and have to wait until AF comes to start the ivf. Problem is, AF was due (if 28 day cycle) on Friday last week and she still hasn't showed. I did a pg test on Sat morning which was bfn and then did one again yesterday morning still bfn.
Would there be any other reason why AF is staying away? According to mb I did ovulate right around cd14 and since then I have been getting quite a bit of cm.
I am going to ring fs tomorrow morning to see what she thinks but would appreciate any advice or thoughts if anyone has any idea what might be going on? If I am not pg then I want af to come so I can start my ivf cycle.:help:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO TREELO TOO - NEARLY FORGOT - HOPE YOU ARE HAVING A GREAT DAY! :happybirthday:

-
Way to GO DAWNEE!!!! Huge congrats.:)
-
Thanks Mumstar :) and everyone else for the congrats....
Treelo: I agree lets hope theres lots more BFP's on the way!
Beaksie: I know I know I couldn't wait hahaha the symptoms were too obvious I had my hair done yesterday and my hairdresser said "OMG your scalp is glowing bright red again just like when you were pg" so I thought that's it off to wooolies for a test! I am 11 or 12 DPO last time it didn't show up till day 13 and it was really really faint.....this was quick and definate so all I need now is m/s to put my mind at ease (NEVER ever thought i would say that hahaha).
I really hope we are in a run of BFP's and look forward to seeing more announcements!
-x-
-
Woo-hoo Dawneee! That's fantastic! A little R&R (and sky diving) must have done the trick! How wonderful. Please may I join you? Please, please, pretty please!?! Five more days till AF is due for me. It seems endless! :crossfingers:
Treelo-- hope you had a good b-day despite Lawson's accident. Hope the little guy is doing okay too.
Timnik-- what did the FS say? Zionsmom-- any luck for you? Six months does seem like a long time. Maybe time for a visit to the doc for some blood work?
-
Hi mammal, thanks for asking after me. AF arrived today! I am relieved about her coming for once. Now I can start the IVF, and hopefully it will give me the longed for bub we so want.
-
Timnik, great news on starting IVF! I found that even though I was relieved to be finally starting, it was also a very depressing time as well. It was the final nail in the coffin of the idea that we could conceive naturally - very strong emotions at the time. I wish you all the best with it - and hope like mad that you don't follow me into the "worst case scenario" group. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong for me, but we seem to have it all under control now.

Hi everybody! Just a quick post from me to touch base. Hope you're all great.
Not much happening with me at the moment, still in the dreaded TWW. How boring! Finally got myself a ticker and joined as a platinum yesterday. So proud of my ticker, for a technophobe like me it was a major achievement working it all out. Only prob now, I wonder if it will make me even more obsessive, with a constant countdown everytime I post? Will see.
Hi to Treelo (rather traumatic couple of days in your house!), Butterfly Warrior, Satya, Dawnee, Starrysky and everyone else. Take it easy...:D
-
Just popping in before bed and what do i see? Super bubby news from Miss Dawnee!!!!! (yes, it's meant to rhyme... thought it was rather clever myself hehe). Congrats Dawneee! Hope you can spread some baby dust to all of us.
I am starting acupuncture for infertility 2moro - excited but also a bit nervous about where they will stick the pins!!! (hehe). Have stopped the vitex as well so my body can get back to 'normal' (whatever that is!) before we see a fertility specialist in 3 weeks time.
Big hugs to everyone and wishing you all (and me!) a BPF very soon! Nighty night.
-
PS -Congrats Beaksie on the groovy ticker - looks fab.
-
LSB, I've been having acupuncture since June of last year. You hardly feel the pins when they go in (although you do get the odd spot that hurts a little!), from my experience they will focus on points in your legs, feet, and your belly. They're the ones I get most often, but have also had them in my hands, arms, face (for sinus problems, not infertility), the top of my head, chest and a new one for today - my shoulders. Ok, lets just say they could wind up anywhere, but legs and belly are the ones you'll get most of. Good luck with it, and good luck with the FS.

Hi Everyone i hope your all well !!
Timnik - Thank you so much hun for the bday wish and best of luck with your ivf when AF finally comes.
Beaksie - YAY for the ticker !!!! noice work !!!
BW = Do you think the acupunture works ?? I never even thought of acupuncture for infertility??
LSB - Best of luck with the acupuncture, i had it once for my neck, and it was sooooo relaxing i nearly passed out when i stood up.
Mammal - Thank you too for the bday wish, i had an ok day, we dont spend alot of time or money on the grown up bday's, we tend to just go all out at christmas. But the boys made me a lovely card and dad bought them a small gift to give me. But bring on Christmas when we get our six burner bbq with a rotisary !!!!
MissBelinda = I hope your resting up for lots of BD next week, i have a good feeling about this cycle.
Mammal - Hi hun, i hope your doing ok.
Kiwigirl - I see your cycle is in line with MissBelinda, good luck for your bd nest week, i hope we all catch the eggie !!
Well the drama continues at our house, well not so much our HOUSE but you know what i mean !!
If any of you live in brisbane then you may have seen that Rochedale state school went up in flames yesterday, well that is cooper's school, just 2 minutes down the road. And that is were he is meant to be going today for vacation care too. I dont think his classroom was near the flames but i know they are going to have demolision the whole block, which is sad because they just refurbished half of the classrooms in that block.
Im not too sure if they are going to be running vacation care today now as it may be too unsafe for them to be near the school.
Lawson's eye is so purple, daddy is of course proud of his sons shiner !! What is it with men, he actually took a pic on his mobile phone to show all his work mates????
Well i better get the boys up and at least get ready in case cooper can go today, i hope so, because i dont want to miss another day of work !!!
hugs

Hiya. 10 DPO here. I got a faint positive on an early HPT this morning. I’m ecstatic… but also terrified it won’t last. It’s so early. If I can make it through the next week, I think I’ll feel so much better. How early do most docs run betas?
-
mammal - congrats. My gp did beta hcg the day I went to her and I think I was 12 or 13dpo at the time. They tend to do them early if you've had miscarriages. I didn't even have to ask. I just said I'd had two positive hpt's in a row and she just ordered urgent tests and I had the results the following day. Good luck.
-
Oooh Mammal! Congratulations hun! Such good news for you! When r u going to the doctor? Well done puppy - best of luck and think positive.
-
great news mammal, im sure there is nothing to worry about hun.
-
-
oh my, please let this be the start of a BIG run of BFPs for all of us!!!
Congratulations mammal, I am so happy for you too, wishing you all the best for a sticky bub.

Time for a new thread ladies. You can find it here.
